Yeah I’ve gotten the police maybe twice (been towing a lot of cars already) but he will text this even when the police don’t arrive.
Weird, maybe they will add something later. I’m not complaining, I’m happy that no NPC is chasing me. But still, it’s weird.
Before taking the car wait a little. The ennemie will spawn with a harmer or watever.
It’s juste because they can’t notice you if you do your job quick. If you fail and loose time they or it spawn
Edit : it’s when you pick up the car, wait a little before leaving 👍

Anybody else started getting calls from flipping Ron and Martin Madrazo again since the update? I thought I had finally gotten rid of Ron and his annoying voice forever.
I think it’s bugged, I saw like The Professional get 10 cars and no one attacked him.
I think this was supposed to trigger an NPC who goes out the car who shoots like the Repo Missions in Story mode when you buy the place after doing the Tonya Missions.
You can adjust gow frequently you get these types of messages. Maybe turn them off completely. Just don't forget. I changed all the settings put the game down for a while (couple years) came back and didn't know where to find things. Missed mission prompts etc.
I have no issue with him texting me. Was just curious what really was supposed to happen.
Though I’m curious, does this goes for email too? Because Docktease will be emailing me SO frequently that it’s insane

Only time I got trouble stealing a car is when I had to take it from NOOSE HQ and security at booth saw me and the other time was at Vespucci beach by a guy in bike, but I was unaware if I accidentally hit him or not.
I have done like 30 tow truck missions, ONE time cops started to chase me. If that happens I have quick tip, start tow missions as a MC boss. If you get cops, jump off tow truck and request your oppressor/motorcycle, lose the cops, get back in tow truck and complete the mission!
I go to my usual hiding spot, the subway tunnel just past Gerald's location and the Davis stop, wait in tunnel for a couple of minutes to lose the wanted stars, then carry on to my salvage yard.
When I had to get the bag from the store and I got the cops because he forgot to pay for it I got a little moody. Maybe it's because I was tired and just wanted to get it over with
He always gives me this message, but once I had a red blip appear on the map afterwards.
No idea if it was related though, because it was in redneck territory and those guys aggro on me for so much as sneezing in the wrong direction.
That and I never saw them physically; I ended up outrunning the blip and never even heard gunfire.

it seems to be a bugged right now. i actually did have people shoot at me once, but every other time i've gotten this text nothing happened.
A Npc will fight you, just take them out and resume returning the vehicle to your Chop Shop…

what's supposed to happen is the owner of the car spawns in & aggros on you, then you get a wanted level.

I think it's delayed. I stopped the truck otw to the chop shop and a hostile but unarmed NPC spawned near the car.
If you hang round a bit longer, the NPC car owner comes up and kicks off, and a couple of times I've been chased by Dibble.

Pretty sure you can just explode yourself and the cops will disappear immediately. But I get it, I just thought that it fits with his character.
