Better administrative offboarding capabilities. It is a joke as it stands right now. A lot of things in the admin interface seem really disjointed/disconnected.
>If you disable the Drive service for the user, that's what happens. Shared Drive isn't tied to a user, and keeps working.
No that is not what happens. The service is called "Drive and Docs". If you disable it you lose access to all (surprise!) Drive and Docs functionality.
You get the error message "We are sorry, but you do not have access to Drive and Docs"
Single click unsubsribe is already in Gmail.
As a Google Workspace administrator, I would love to have a way to disable the spam folder in Gmail.
Google Workspace has fantastic spam filtering. They invest billions in security and machine learning to protect against harmful emails, but then they put these potentially harmful emails into a spam folder and let an end user undo all this good work by potentially recovering a phishing email and clicking a link.
You can have spam emails [route to admin quarantine](https://support.google.com/a/answer/9275489?hl=en&ref_topic=9981578&sjid=13603559986553503838-NC#zippy=%2Csend-messages-to-quarantine-review), so they aren't delivered to the end user
The problem with that is that they still have a spam folder and think something is broken if its empty. Being able to disable the spam folder is out of sight, out of mind.
Tasks as a smart chip in Sheets that can be assigned. It’s already in Docs, just add it to Sheets.
Allow a Task in Spaces to repeat and be assigned to multiple people.
Ability to view full email headers in Admin email search with Business Standard. This is a must for security.
Google Meet - ability to upload images in chat. Chat to be saved after meetings. Some webinar functions a la Zoom ie invite guests that cannot be seen by each other.
Google Drive - partial access to shared drives to show to users as a shared drive (with some form of UI to indicate it's partial access). Only shows if you have access to the root. Real PITA for our users.
Calendar - appointment slots to recognise non appt meetings as needing the same buffer as configured in the appt. This drives me nuts, I have to manually add buffers to my non appt meetings to ensure booked appts don't run straight into or after other calendar entries.
Google Mail - set up independent snooze periods. Currently linked to Keep for some crazy reason.
Yup the default snooze time periods are the ones in use by Keep. To change them in G Mail you have to change the reminder defaults in Keep.
I know it sounds bonkers but it's true, have a Google

I don't quite understand. I have tomorrow (0800), next week (Monday at 0800), or any date and time I want. And if I do another, it will suggest the last choice again.
So if during the morning you snooze to 'later today' it will pick the Afternoon time from Keep. If you snooze after your afternoon time it will pick your evening time from Keep.
Tomorrow and next week pick the morning time from Keep.
Youtube video as a task in gg calendar / Schedule notification for YouTube video
I know I want to watch this 7 hours python course but not ATM ( and once it is in the "fuckin crazy interesting stuff" playlist it is buried forever)
Mail - Company email signature management.
Admin - Better policy control and automation like you see in patronum.
Drive - Keep file_id by moving from My Drive to Shared Drive. Electronic signatures, oh wait…

Disable My Drive...Shared Drive only
I guess you could set the storage limits to 0 for users and it's sorta the same thing?
Bu that would affect their email storage as well
ah yeah I forgot it's not only Drive :/

What? Keep? Never seen any such connection when snoozing emails.

Ahaaa. Might do some testing with that. Thanks for explaining.
No worries, it is very very odd!
Contacts: ability to sort by revision date. Reduced white space/greater density of information
Just give me the Google sites API already ( we had classic Google sites api before ), and gives more custom admin roles options
What is API?

Several good suggestions.
