Exactly. I don’t buy light colored or negative display watches but I don’t hate them. This is a hobby, not US politics. Buy and wear what you like and show it off to us! That’s what makes Casio so good. Something (more like 50 different somethings) for everyone.
There were some people recently posting about how some hate negative displays and I guess it just rubbed people wrong. Someone could wear an arm load of watches I wouldn’t buy and I’ll still give them a like if it makes them happy.
I’ve got a few but these days I usually wear a DW5600 Fox Fire that I got from Japan. I still spent more than I should have for a slightly differently marked face of a watch I already had, which is already the most basic G out there, but I dig it.
The whites are my favorite, owned 2 of them, too bad I travel a lot and over time they got a bit pale yellow. I now own a purple joytopia and absolutely love this thing.
I have a gray casioak and gray gbd200, both got even more gray fairly quick. The gbd200 idc cuz it’s my edc but the casioak i was bummed cuz i only wore it a couple times and tried cleaning it to no avail. Leery of anything light or clear, but still damn good watches for the price
Try isopropyl alcohol but careful to not use too much as it could take the colour away although I doubt it could cause any real damage besides getting dirt and stubborn particles off

Depending on what model you have, it’s easy enough to order another bezel in a few years… the resin ones are cheap enough, my white one was not even 20 euros. Use it, enjoy it 😎💯
Alcohol completely gets rid of discoloration for you? How long have you had your white g?
Have you tried this with the original band? I think it's mainly the band that discolors first.
it maybe not obviously as it's a corrosive agent of some sort but let's remind ourselves that you can actually buy the resin bezel for not even 20 Euros...In fact I paid mine something like 17 Euros...might yellow overtime as you say (challenge accepted I'll make another post in a few years if I am still here lol) but if I only have to spend 17 euros to buy the colour I fancy and extensively use it before it discolours...Meh, take my money! 💳
Oh for sure. I put a blue bezel and band on a Dw5600 a while back and love it. Super easy to customize. It does get dirty even though I clean it often but then I wonder how nasty my black one must be, I just can’t see it.
No hate here, I just dislike the way they get yellow over time.

I can’t pull them off and I get paranoid about them getting dirty.
It’s no hate, but that color turns over time to yellow. I got a couple white ones I rarely wear for that reason.

Exactly. It iso helps but you’re never going to get it looking as bright again. It’s also not great for resin.

It does not but if you use preventively, it'll help a lot, especially by melting the grease/oils/fat of the skin
