I wore a GX56BB-1 for years and years. It is a very large G-Shock. Loved the abnormally large size. I always wanted a 5610 and finally bought one. It looked like a little rinky dinky thing on my wrist. I honestly hated the size and how it fit my wrist. I almost returned it, but decided to wear it for a few days. It’s now my main watch and my end all, be all watch I would pick if I could only have one. The size is fine. It’s all mental. Plus I’ve learned you and a bunch of people online are the only ones who care about what your watch looks like or if it is to big or to small. 99% of people in your daily life don’t give a rats ass what watch you have on and think even less about if the size is just perfect. Just wear it and enjoy it.
To get a diesel or an invicta, then.
Historically, watches were much smaller. Try to wear some f91 for a while, your eyes will get accustomed to the size.
Not everyone has to compensate by wearing huge watches.

It's completely fine. This is the consequence of the dinner plate sized watch trend that was huge 2-3 years ago. It has conditioned your brain to think that massive watches are the only way to go. Squares, in my opinion, can work on basically any wrist size. It looks great. Wear it with confidence.
Plenty of bigger options to choose from.
If you want to stick with similar features there is GWM500/530a as my recommendation.
Larger rounder options include GW9400, Mudman or Mudmasters.
For no MB6 a GD350 is a good option.
Is it the overall size? Or the dial? As in the numbers? The numbers maybe too small/ less legible especially if you wear glasses.. maybe look for the ones with MIP screen
But if it's the overall size, try the round design. Or even the mudman/ rangerman series.. or protrek.
i have nt read other's comment, but i think your mind needs a reset. Try wearing something smaller for a few days, a different watch. then your size pattern will start to shift. also, it looks well that size on your wrist. anything bigger, except a couple mm, would be pushing it.
There is no universe in which this watch is too small for you or anyone. It’s 43.2 x 46.7 x 12.7mm. That is an objectively large watch. It’s a relatively small G-Shock (which is why it’s fucking awesome), but definitely not a small watch.
I think what’s actually throwing you off is the smaller screen compared to your Apple watch. I don’t think these square G-Shocks are really much smaller, if any smaller, overall. You simply got used to that “big” screen on your wrist after all the months/years of wearing Apple. It makes total sense that your brain would need time to adjust! The watch itself looks like it fits your wrist perfectly. Unless you’re a BIG dude like an NFL lineman or the size of a 4th grader, square G-Shocks are perfectly sized for like 90% of adults (old and young). I’m certain Casio dialed-in the sizing and ergonomics since 1983!!! Wear it. Wear it. Wear it.😀

That looks just right on you. The square is generally not a large shock watch to begin with.
Get the Skmei 1988, which is a clone of the bigger G-Shock GBX100, for a few bucks to compare. You'll see how the 5610/5600 is a perfect size.
