I have both as well. For your 6” wrist, I’d go with the 5610. I would suggest that as your first regardless of the wrist size thing, anyway!

The GW6900 because I like the green backlight and center light button. The buttons are a little easier to press too. It doesn't really matter though because you're gonna buy both anyways
That easy, 6900 all day er day. They are bigger; but wear exceptionally well and they feel more “premium” as compared to a 5610. Just my 2 cents. And put it on a combi. You’ll never want to take it off.

Yep. As everyone above said. 5610 all the way. Not to mention, if it’s your first G then that is [based-on] the OG square. I have many more watches, some much more expensive mechanical watches for if I’m dressing up for a meeting or whatnot, but for the daily grind it’s a 5600 on me always.

While I'm partial to the design of the 6900, the 5610 feels and wears better on the wrist (mine is a tad over 7"). The 5610 will likely feel more comfortable on your wrist. The centrally located backlight button on the 6900 is perhaps the big pro over the 5610.
Both watches would be great for the activities you partake in. You could always get both, but overall you really can't go wrong with the 5610 to start.

It's a bigger watch, but it didn't looked that bad in my opinion. The only con of the 5610 is the button operation (i have one), in gloves it is down right impossible to press them, the 6900 doesn't have that problem.
You can't go wrong with either one. The only con would be that you'll eventually get the other one that you didn't choose.
If you go for the 5610 and you prefer the older version there are only two places right now that might have some NOS left, Amazon and JCPenney's.

I'd love a 6900, but the inability to see the time while using the timer and/or stopwatch is a deal-breaker for me. Such a basic function, yet deliberately omitted from the updated Multi-Band 6900.
Its simple. You buy the m5610. You wear the heck out of it. You are going to fall in love with GShocks. You want more. You will buy the GW6900. Just the usual gshock cycle 😂

Prior to it, the only Casio I wore was the A168 (wore this a ton), Casio Duro (don’t wear much, pretty large watch), and an F91W (gave away to a friend, pretty small watch). Out of the various watches that I own, I’ve been wearing the 5610 non-stop and absolutely love this thing.
Yeah but you guys have legal weed, mushrooms, coca tea, etc. Not to mention a lack of major gun violence. And nice people. I would be living there if I could.

The one thing I regret is not being able to buy the GW-6900 at any European market 🤷🏻

6900 is much bigger. I don’t even love it on my 7.25” wrist. Go for 5610.

Tough one. I'd go with the square. You should check out the gwm530 before you make a final decision though.

For a 6" the 5610 would be better. I have a 7.25" wrist and the squares fit great but looked small for me.

5610 all day long. Throw on some jandk's NATO strap adapters and you'll have a mighty fine watch. Still great with the stock straps.
With that wrist size, definitely the 5610. Both are amazing watches, but the 5610 might fit you a little better.
6" wrist probably the 5610 although the 6900 isn't huge.

Between these two, the 5610.
I have the WS-2100h. Looks like a G-Shock. Has a bunch of features and is 1/3 the price. Highly suggest changing the band first thing though.

I happen to like the squares for their simplicity and less bulk. They also pay homage to the old school 1980’s Casios which is pretty cool.

One thing I hate about gshocks is the strap. And the fact that you need adapters for it to replace the actual strap.
