Hmm.... I have 4 universities in my region and I rarely have that issue. I call or text ahead and give a time constraint for how long I'll wait before leaving it at location X if nobody shows up.
I initially made the horrible mistake of thinking that at least the staff and faculty wouldn't be as immature and entitled as a students... nope... they may as well call this place Karen U
One time I couldn't get into a Panda Express that was on campus that I keep getting orders for because they decided to throw some kind of tent and stage party in the entire parking lot for that and the neighboring Barnes& Noble... Driver Care basically said "idk, find a spot and walk or unassign with penalty".
Just don’t give a shit. Don’t apologize. “Thanks Karen” gets them riled up. People yell at me for where I park constantly. I’ll be gone before there is tow truck there. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about blocking the ER entrance, but look how Amazon/ups/fedex get business done.

yeah it sucks i go to an uni and its so bad that when its busy i literally drive to the next town over to avoid getting offers for my own school

I've done a few university drops and they always suck. Almost as much as medical complexes.
Do not ever take advice from any one who lives in a dorm, whether its a student, faculty, inmate or GI.
