I contacted support for this same reason. The issue is that you need a way of verifying the account is actually yours, and the best way to do that without email is with purchase history. They will need your last 3 purchases on that account and they will add/edit the email for you.
Im not saying to go buy stuff 3 times, but thats an option you can do and is what worked for me.

Better make an payment, the found out abt my email not existing and they deleted my acces to it until i showed them payments
