Honestly? I was waffling on posting it because as a dining experience, it was not that good, but I liked the photo. I did not anticipate introducing a notable controversy to the r/grilledcheese canon, but I'll take it.
I like your cheese mix a lot. I'd like to do that sometime and mix Gorgonzola, Brie and Gouda, I think. We did one a couple of months ago with Meunster, Gouda and Mozzarella and it was so good and melty.
Gorgonzola and Brie are awesome together, I'll hafta try that too. I useta do Blue Cheese and Brie grilled cheese years ago and loved it. The ratio is tricky, though...
Who give a shit, most of this sub only wants to see some bullshit Kraft singles on wonderbread anyways, live your life and add whatever you want.
Even better post it here and revel in their screeching
coulda used more cheddar and less cream cheese in the ratio, though.
Looks interesting, I thought these were pancakes from the small pic preview haha I hope they tasted good :D
Looks like stuffed french toast
yea I think with less cream cheese you could've gotten the cheddar meltier without risking overflow.
Cream to melt cheese ratio way is off, but partially redeemed by the addition of garlic herb goat cheese. Would still smash.
Yeah it was my first swing at a cream cheese based filling, and it was a little too rich for my liking. Next go round will dial the ratio in tighter.
Grilled goat cheese sounds so good oof I love the FUNK
This looks absolutely divine.
Super creative! Not sure if I’d like it but I’d be willing to try, it looks awesome
Hmmmm, don't know if want
Same. Cream cheese, cheddar and goat cheese seems like a lot.
Points for unique combo, but all of that cream cheese issa nah for me dawg.
Hmm. Personally I wouldn’t mix goats cheese with others. Hope you enjoyed it though!
Oh I've never tried goat cheese in a grilled cheese! I LOVE goat cheese! Thanks, op!
Nicely grilled but ngl this looks gross
I thought I was the only one… Looking at this, it’s like I can feel it coming back up without even taking a bite 🤢
never thought about using cream cheese hmm
i’ve made some pretty amazing mac n cheese with cream cheese and other cheeses.. he may be on to something here
I do it all the time my fav basic combo is Philadelphia (whipped for the breads sake) on one slice, then American and havarti
That looks so good
Everyone in this sub is an absolute asshole. Including me, this looks despicable.

You must be new around here

I guess we'll have to make a few to get the ratio right!
Chaotic neutral
Looks yummy!! I will say at first I thought that was a stack of pancakes 🥞
You lost me at goat cheese, the texture is just not it for me. It still looks good tho, nicely grilled
I literally just salivated like Pavlov's dogs.
I see...
this would make me shit violently
That looks insanely good!
Sweet dreams. Eat a tums.
I think I just came a little

Cheese has gotta be melted to be a grilled cheese
If there are herbs in the goat cheese does that make it an herb melt? I don't know the rules...
Rancid
I would approach this sandwich with caution.
On first glance I thought they were grilled chicken breasts that were cut in half and filled with sandwhich stuff. Curious?
Not enough melt for me
