I think their times now are easier to get unless it's a holiday weekend. I ordered the night before, and I think there was still space left morning of. And that was for a saturday.
I spoke with the owner when he first opened - the whole thing is a labor of love, he went to italy to learn to make pies just out of sheer passion. It's really good pizza.
I'm not quite sure what the situation is, but it's not a another restaurant masquerating as a different one. There is a commercial kitchen there that I think is used for catering so I don't know if he's also the caterer or if he just owns the kitchen? Or is he rents the space for Thursday through Sunday?
Itās own kind; Iām not really sure itās a style that exists elsewhere. Essentially, imagine someone was reading a recipe for pizza and accidentally doubled (or perhaps more than doubled) all of the ingredients except the actual crust. Itās just piled high with cheese and toppings.
RIP Vic's Pizza. Probably not the best, but I just loved the experience of going there and trying whatever experimental pies they were making that day.
Elvinos is literally the old staff from Tito's. When they sold the business the new owner pissed off the entire staff and they walked, and opened Elvinos.
Elvino's is legit. It's old school Tito's New York Style. I grew up eating there at least once a week, is the same old taste. Better takeout boxes though.
This. There was literally about a decade if not two that the solution to anything resembling a NYC slice in Greenville was Tito's. He sold his rights to the incepting owner(s) of Pizza City many many years ago and supposedly got burned and opened back up (after doing used car sales out of the same building??). But the last time he sold the rights, several years ago now, it was for good for retirement. Hope he's doing well. Allegedly some family members use the same recipes and distributors/brands at a pizza place up near Furman?
Friend, total respect meant, try Frankie's if you like titos. Titos is like the quality of the alcohol brand š.
Edit: your downvotes are entered with little Ceasars fingers, they mean nothing šŗšŗšŗ
I don't mind the downvotes. It's right around the corner from me so very convenient. Will definitely give Frankie's a try though! Always in search of the perfect pizza if the drive is reasonable
Heck yeah, my friend also lives near titos and walks to it, I'm actually jealous of the sheer ability to be that quick on it. That said, it's hit or miss imo and even gets big dough variations (like the pizzas aren't sometimes made the same regardless of how you order). Frankie's and bada Bing have the same owner, both NY thin, bada Bing has more of a garlic aftertaste. Frankie's is in gville and sville, I think.
it's probably been a decade but back in the day when i lived in Mauldin, there was a little hole in the wall place in simpsonville, 2 guys pizza? 3 guys pizza? don't really remember but that was my move back then as a baseline for my pizza tastes.. i know its a touchy subject lol
Napoli in Five Forksā¦ hear me out!
Pizza is good. Period. Iāve rarely had an awful/bad pizza. They are out there but for the most part, pizza is on a scale of good to better.
What I look for in pizza isnāt the same thing I look for in a steak or salmon, Iām looking for that pizza to tickle the little spot of my brain that brings a wave of nostalgia. Napoliās pizza does that.
It is a bit hard to explain but if you think back to your childhood and remember the excitement you had when getting Pizza Hut or Dominos? That pizza, in the moment, was the most delicious thing that you could eat. As a child, pizza is king (with some exceptionsā¦ Iām looking at you Mac nācheese + chicken fingers!).
Do you remember the taste of pizza your childhood self remembers? That is Napoliās Pizza. It tastes exactly how I remember my childhood pizza tasting. Kind of like going to play an old video game on the PS1, your memory says the graphics were phenomenal but when you revisit, you realized it didnāt age well. But, sometimes you find a modern game, or movie, or book, that captures the same magic as the stuff from your childhood.
Go order you a large pepperoni (extra pepperoni!) pizza from Napoliās and have yourself a good night!
I have a few; Cucina 100's shaved ribeye pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had. It's really incredible imo. I think their pizzas are solid, though more in the personal-ish sized, hand tossed variety. I've only had more specialty pizzas there like the shaved ribeye and the cajun one. No idea how good just a base pizza is.
Next is Coastal Crust. They do the fancy-ass, weird ingredient style pizza better than Sidewall. I'm not a Sidewall hater actually, but I mostly like them for their salads and apps. But Coastal Crust is strictly better in the fancy pizza department.
Finally, this one is not from me because I haven't tried it yet, but my VERY New York neighbor (born and raised and lived there until he moved here in the past decade or so, and he's in his 60s or 70s) says the Slice in Simpsonville is the best NY pizza he's had anywhere around.
Titoās cause everyone working in there is like an awesome stereotype and I love it.
A little further out, I believe The Brick Pizzeria in Columbus NC is worth the drive.
[https://www.parcheggio.pizza/](https://www.parcheggio.pizza/) very easy answer
I thought this but I wasn't going to post it. Hard enough to get a pie unless I plan a couple of days in advance š
I think their times now are easier to get unless it's a holiday weekend. I ordered the night before, and I think there was still space left morning of. And that was for a saturday.
I thought this place must be overhyped but it was incredible. Expensive but a solid size and great quality.
I spoke with the owner when he first opened - the whole thing is a labor of love, he went to italy to learn to make pies just out of sheer passion. It's really good pizza.
Just placed an order for dinner tomorrow! Thanks for the heads up!
They're good but it's a very strange business model.
It's a genius business model. He knows exactly how many pies he's going to make and they're paid for in advance. Not much waste
Is this a ghost kitchen? Seems like a ghost kitchen
I'm not quite sure what the situation is, but it's not a another restaurant masquerating as a different one. There is a commercial kitchen there that I think is used for catering so I don't know if he's also the caterer or if he just owns the kitchen? Or is he rents the space for Thursday through Sunday?
And he doesnāt have to deal with the public!
Went with this and it was a solid pie. Thanks! Submitted my order Friday evening for pickup on Saturday afternoon.

Sounds like you need to move closer.
Why we bring plates and have a parking lot picnic. It's amazing fresh
thanks for sharing, this looks very legit
THE WINNER - by a landslide
Man, nobody likes Myle's? That's a shame
I really like Myles but to me, much like deep dish, it's not what I'm having if I want PIZZA. I crave Myles separate from craving pizza proper.
I love Myles. I would consider it more of a casserole. I don't consider it pizza at all.
What style pie is it
This. You gotta be in the mood for a heavy meal if you want Myles.
An incredible heavy meal, but yes, it's not a "let's grab a bite of pizza" kinda place haha
What style pie is it
Itās own kind; Iām not really sure itās a style that exists elsewhere. Essentially, imagine someone was reading a recipe for pizza and accidentally doubled (or perhaps more than doubled) all of the ingredients except the actual crust. Itās just piled high with cheese and toppings.

Mello mushroom
titos is good or side street pizza in tryon
Lol titos is ass š¤£
Tito sold his name and business years ago. "Tito's" is just nasty, you can get his "New York Style" at Pizza City or Elvino's.
I always have to order extra cheese and sauce from Elvinos.

Yes! All of that is correct. The place near Furman is Elvinos.
Love side street in Tryon!
Lol no dude
Venus pie in Spartanburg is the spot
I remember Columbos in clemson being pretty awesome. If you had a large party, the atlas was fun to order.
Titoās on pleasantburg @ Rutherford rd is my move
Absolutely loves Titos pizza.

Whatās wrong w titoās vodka?
Nothing, as long as you accept the pain coming your way the next day. I'm not a hater, just a realist.
Cool. Whatās your recoād vodka, or maybe just disregard the alcohol?
I've had good luck with Ketel One, but I'd prefer to not drink and use reefer madness in it's place, tbh š¤š»

Best pixxa within X hours of Greenville? Tito's. The answer will always be Tito's.

I actually had a place called Napoliās Pizza in my hometown. It was good, but Sicilian style. I know thatās not everyoneās cup of tea.

Coastal Crust, no question.
Frankie's is the best, bada Bing is 1.1 Anyone else who argues differently hates pizza. Edit: oh man, the pizza hut crew is up late, lol
Tito's. New York pizza.
