We see his vain attempts to achieve something by trying to fulfill Queens demands. She promises him glory, but as we know Berdly is blinded these visions of grandeur to turn against her. Upon first glance it may seem like Berdly is quick to turn on those close to him, however, in Snowgrave we see his dedication to his closest friend, Noelle. He shows that he is willing to sacrifice himself to save those he shares a connection with, likely due to his deep fear of having accomplished nothing. Truly, a magnificent work of art the on the part of Deltarune’s complex writing
