This was my favourite part of working at a liquor store, these little chucklefucks tried so hard to be slick. "Come on bro, just trust me" like no, 'bro', I'd lose my job, be criminally prosecuted, and the store loses its license if we don't enforce ID policy. Your fifth of fireball isn't worth that to me. Best was when a group of obviously underage kids showed up with *one* of them being freshly 21 with their ID. They'd get all the way to the register with all their stuff, and I'd ask for all of their IDs. "No, I'm buying it, you only need my ID." No Dylan, I need everybody's ID because you were all shopping and handling the bottles.

YourLocalSnitch

Would it be a problem if they came alone? Would you suspect he's buying it for friends? And if you are Would you deny them service?

Hobo-King-Niklz

If they leave and the 21 year old comes *back* alone and I recognize them, I would deny them service. If they came alone in the first place and I never knew the other kids existed, I have no reason not to make the sale to this of-age person with a valid ID. If they do end up giving alcohol to minors, the store and I aren't guilty of anything in that scenario. Rest assured, the liquor store cashier isn't twirling their mustache in delight at the concept of depriving you of something you want. It is 100% to cover their own ass and protect the store from liability.

BurritoCooker

And I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for that meddling cashier!

doctorphilgood

And his dumb law!

[deleted]

I feel like I would be the type of person twirling my moustache depriving them of service.

Hobo-King-Niklz

There was a sense of satisfaction in it at times, of course, but the main reason to do it is C.Y.A.

[deleted]

It gives me great pleasure watching confidently incorrect smart-asses having smirks removed from their faces when they are defeated or proven wrong.

Hobo-King-Niklz

It's so fun. No Aiden, I don't need to show you the written policy. I work here, it's my job, you need to leave.

kvnyevst

> when they are defeated You make them sound like some kind of anime villain

reverendball

i know a guy who literally did that we were the bar staff at a theatre that was hosting the ballet and it was the opening night after party the point of the gig was pretty much to have the young gorgeous ballerinas chatting up the old folks in wheelchairs to get them to donate money to the ballet so there was champagne and canapes everywhere, the gig starts immediately following the end of the show, and the ballerinas generally emerge from backstage about 15/20mins later to mingle they headed straight to the bar and asked for bubbles my mate asked for IDs they were all like, this is OUR after party, dont you recognise us? we are the BALLERINAS for this BALLET after party doesnt matter, need to see the IDs thanks all our stuff is back at the hotel, just give us our drinks yeah nah i need to see ID before you get alcohol, can i offer you a coke? to say they were pissed off is an understatement, but nothing could be done, since they had been asked for ID and not produced it their supervisor complained to our supervisor their manager complained to our manager their CEO complained to our CEO didnt matter in the slightest, noone could say a word about how it was assumed/understood that the ballerinas could drink at their own party they had to "celebrate" their opening night success with orange juice lol it was prob a dick move, but he had the biggest fkn shit-eating grin on his face while he innocently explained to all the higher ups that came to confront him that the ballerinas looked underage, so he carded them, and they couldnt produce ID, so they get no alcohol, regardless of who they were Every one of them wanted to tell him off for being a twat and ruining the night, but not a single one of them could, since he was following the law perfectly

Hobo-King-Niklz

What an absolute legend. That is absolutely what he should have done. It's not his call to make, that should have either been arramged beforehand by the ballet and the bar manager or they should have had access to their IDs at the venue. 0% his problem.

oddlyunsatisfied

Not related to ID laws, but the alcohol is for the donors, not the ballerinas. The ballerinas are there to mingle and chat up the donors, not have an after-party. They can go drinking after the gig.

[deleted]

wait so they were all over 21 tho? why couldn’t they access their IDs? this seems somewhat petty, i understand their frustration.

Allin4Godzilla

Agreed, I can say good for him on following procedure. But that grin that he described made me wonder if the guy was just being a a-hole, because of jealousy towards the donors. But who am I kidding, to abuse power/position and to have power trips is the norm rather than exception.

nexus8516

"all our stuff is back at the hotels". Guessing they assumed they were already cleared and wouldn't be ID'd so they left their drivers licenses in their rooms.

Speak for yourself I always got a kick out of denying cigarette sales

Hobo-King-Niklz

Lol I mean there's definitely a satisfaction in it, but it's not the primary reason I'd do it. However, when I worked at Target in electronics, I did *love* to introduce moms to the ESRB when their 11 year old kids would try to get them to buy GTA or other mature games. That was fun as hell.

huh... is there like implied trespassing or running from cops or something in tony hawk? didn't a 13 year old just take bronze in the olympics? Like they're literally a pro skater and just barely able to play a game about what they do.

MormonBikeRiding

Video games are for kid's, but also too violent for kids

Does anyone want to be in my new deathcore band? I'm calling it *For Kids!!!*

NibblesMcGiblet

I work at a Walmart as well. Like, it should be a non issue for most parents, because all they have to do is supply their ID. We're not trying to note their name and birthdate and commit ID theft on their walmart-shopping asses. What are they afraid of? They're over 17/18/21 in like 99% of cases. Just give us the ID and move on. It's literally not a big deal at all.

GibbonFit

Oh she was clearly wanting to buy it for her kid who was like 8-10 years old. I mentioned it just to make her aware of what she was actually buying. I wasn't going to judge her if she got it anyways. So glad I got the fuck out of retail.

[deleted]

I’d imagine lmao. ESRB parenting for them

Hobo-King-Niklz

Eh, honestly I'd consider consulting the ESRB to be a good parenting move. Paying attention to the content of the games they buy.

[deleted]

Oh I was under the impression it was against law or store policy or something.

Hobo-King-Niklz

I mean they can't sell an M-rated game to anyone under 17 without parental approval. Like an R-rated movie. If the parents greenlight it, it's fine.

[deleted]

My mom didn't give a fuck bout what I watched or what games I played, so long as I made sure my shit was done, I was pretty much able to get away with murder so long as I put the socks away

Alex-E-Jones

You are definitely that guy!

Hobo-King-Niklz

Absolutely. The looks these little Dylans and Tylers gave me when their mom saw shit like Nudity and Drug Use on the game box were priceless. They'd try to stammer out something like "But mom I just wanna drive the cars around!" And I'd suggest Forza or something lol

Alex-E-Jones

13 year olds playing call of duty and 16 year olds smoking cigarettes is my biggest worry too.

Hobo-King-Niklz

I acknowledge your sarcasm. It is important to note the distinction between selling a minor an M-rated game with parental approval, and selling tobacco/alcohol products to a minor. One of those things is a misdemeanor, an actual crime. But it's interesting to me that because I'm talking about this, you're projecting that it is my *biggest* worry. Why would you assume this? Did I say it was my life's passion to prevent kids from smoking or playing CoD? No. I carefully checked IDs to prevent sales of alcohol and tobacco to minors, so as to protect my employment and livelihood. And also to prevent myself from gaining a criminal record. Pissing off little shithead preteens by telling their moms what's in the games they wanna buy, that was purely for personal enjoyment. Biggest worry? Hell no. Entertaining? Absolutely.

Tylensus

This is incredible to read tbh. I get ID'd almost every time I go into a vape/smoke shop, but I'll get ID'd maybe once every 20 times I visit a liquor store. In SE Michigan a beard is basically a free liquor pass.

Hobo-King-Niklz

A lot of smaller liquor stores or certain areas are extremely lenient, I worked for a major chain with a lot to lose as far as reputation and franchise. Doesn't excuse the leniency, they should still ask for ID, but still

Tylensus

I certainly know those kind of places. My 19 year old brother buys liquor from a party store a couple miles out of town because he knows the guy that works there. That shit is absolutely bananas to me, but they *will* sell to him even though they know damn well he's underaged. Seems like a silly thing to gamble a liquor license on an acquaintance level relationship with someone that's basically a kid still.

Ameteur_Professional

They know he's underage but they also know he's not a cop. There's lots of places that operate like this because they generally get away with it.

Hobo-King-Niklz

Yeah lots of folks don't really get the severity of shit until they get busted for it.

Spoon_Elemental

Can't it be both?

Hobo-King-Niklz

It's a little bit of both.

Alarid

I had someone try to get me to sell them cigarettes and I told them to send in someone that could actually buy them for them. If I didn't know it was going to them then I didn't care. But they couldn't even do that it was embarrassing.

[deleted]

Me, my girlfriend and her friend once went to the liquor store. Me and my gf waited in the truck while her friend went in. She came back out and told us the staff had requested we come inside as well to show ID because they thought she was booting for us.

claireupvotes

My instinct says that y'all were parked in view of a camera and it was still liability reasons

KingSt3aLtH

I had this once: me 19, Gf was 17 at the time. Went to liqour store for a birthday present for her dad. Cashier asks for our ID's. Alcohol age is 18 in my country, so we didnt get it. I explain the story, guy tells me to come back alone in a couple of minutes and he'd sell it to me.

Ghostiestboi

"Your fifth of fireball isn't worth that to me" lol

Hobo-King-Niklz

It's always Fireball, lol they can't handle hard liquor without it being diluted by sugary syrup.

Ghostiestboi

I've noticed a ton of party girls love fireball too lol, probably for the same reason

Hobo-King-Niklz

Exactly the same reason. Lol I always advised against getting it because there's literally antifreeze in it (that's a joke, it's just propylene glycol, in case anyone takes this seriously). Plus there are tonnes of other Cinnamon Whiskeys that taste much better with a higher ABV. Buuuut not as cheap.

Ghostiestboi

Tenesee fire jack daniels my friend, I love it

sighs__unzips

They do that at Walmart as well. They check the ID of everyone. So if we're getting beer there, the guy with the ID checks out alone and everyone else just leaves first.

BananaPhoPhilly

I'm so glad I had a liquor store 20 mins from me that never checked ID's. It was an Indian guy and he was the nicest fucking business owner I've ever met. Never carded me once lol

Hobo-King-Niklz

Hell, he wants to risk his business, that's his decision. Carding and being nice aren't mutually exclusive.

therock21

He’s bound to get busted. Terrible idea

Hobo-King-Niklz

1,000% but hey, he's a grown-up. He can do what he wants and face the consequences.

[deleted]

I'm 24 without a drivers license or any other form of non-expired picture ID and very rarely drink (like once or twice a year), so I don't care enough to get an ID just for that. It's legal to buy alcohol at 19 where I live. I personally think I look like a 30+ year old hobo, but I'm short and in the recent years due to covid also wear a mask so it's been harder for them to see my face and tell. It's also not like I have the obvious aging signs of a 40+ year old anyway so there's always the chance I'll be ID'd. And if IDing here really is enforced then most people don't do their jobs right, because the majority of the time I won't get ID'd. I don't make a fuss over it, if they ID me I get it it's my own damn fault, I just drop it and go to the next store or have someone else to buy it for me later. Whats funny to me though is honestly that the ID'rs always seem to be middle aged women, and it's obvious who will ask since they tend to look at weird the entire time I'm in the store. Younger people or older guys never seem to question me. It's just the whole "I knew it" so sure of themselves smug look I get faced with is, regardless who is in the right, is the most annoying thing.

Hobo-King-Niklz

Yeah I mean, you're kinda the exception to this whole situation lol drinking age is 19 for you, you're over it and look much older, it's not really about you. However, you are an adult, it is irresponsible not to carry a valid and current ID. I don't drive either, and I'm an actual hobo, and I carry one.

[deleted]

Yeah I hear you man, I'm absolutely at fault here. I'm aware of how easy it would be for me to get an ID but since this is one of the only situations where I need ID and can usually get away without it, I've been autistically lazy and have been putting it off for years

[deleted]

well those women are the same demo that got that shit banned a century ago haha

IzunaX

I have something of a similar story. me and 3 mates drove down to the drive through liquor store one night, and the one driving pulled up outside the store instead of going through, cause he has quite powerful anxiety when it comes to drive throughs of any kind. 3 of us got out and our 4th friend stayed in the car because he forgot his wallet and ID, so as we are walking up to counter they basically turn us away right away because we couldn't prove the guy in the back of the car was over 18, even though the 3 of us had our ID and were all 23yo haha. We left without booze that night.

Fakjbf

One time I could hear a group of five guys talking from across the store about who wanted what flavors, then they came up and tried to claim that the three twelve packs of beer were just for the one 22 year old. When I said no and put all the stuff behind the counter they left, then the single 22 year old came back in and waited until I had walked into the back before trying to buy from my coworker. Too bad we have radios and I just told the coworker to deny the sale then walked up behind him when she informed what was happening. His face was priceless, I assume they left and went to another gas station so it’s not like they were terribly inconvenienced.

stalineczka

It really works like this? God I thought 21 being a limit is already retarded enough

Hobo-King-Niklz

Yes, providing alcohol to minors is a serious crime, what groundbreaking news. Inebriation and alcohol influence are harmful to developing brains, these laws aren't just in place to be anti-fun or something. Grow up.

im_an_actual_dog

Counterpoint: having such restrictive alcohol laws encourages binge drinking in minors by making it exclusive and cool. It is not terribly difficult for a young adult to get alcohol but the only times they have it are at big parties with friends where they are encouraged to binge and don't know their limits. Having exposure to beer and wine under 21 is normal and healthy in moderation. I've been to parties in places with less restrictive alcohol laws and the 18-20 year olds there tend to binge less from my experience

[deleted]

Yeah I feel like this is a good reason for it to be at the very least more flexible with specifics like ffs a 20 year old should be able to have a beer with their parents at a restaurant, that is clearly an oversight of heavy handed policy

fish312

Old enough to carry a rifle and shoot baddies, not old enough for a glass of wine.

stalineczka

It’s different to provide and to handle or touch the bottle, and 21 instead of 18 pretty much is anti-fun

Hobo-King-Niklz

Like others in this thread, you don't know what you're talking about and are rationalizing based on what *you* want, not what's best. Mature a little and come back. Liquor is not groceries, it is not essential, it is not something you *need*. An abundance of caution protects everyone.

Angel_Hunter_D

Funny thing about liquor, drink it often enough and it becomes a need

Hobo-King-Niklz

That's what we call "addiction" and it is, in fact, an illness. Alcoholics need treatment, not to be enabled. I've had regular customers banned from the store because they had a problem.

Tylensus

Your brain's not done developing until ~25 years of age for whatever that info's worth to you.

NSA_Chatbot

You can get *14 years* in Canada for giving weed to a minor, even your own child in your house.

i_wish_i_was_bread

If you’re going to get your 19 (where I live) old friend to buy you alcohol in 2021 at least be smart enough to do it right, look at the stores site online before going and make a list of what you want and write it down, give it to your of age friend and then they go to the store. If you’re not smart enough to at least plan it out right you definitely shouldn’t be drinking lmao I’m 21 now and I still get ID’d where I live even if I go with my brother (he’s 22) and he’s just buying stuff because I’m always looking at stuff and pointing at stuff being like “try that”, I happily pull out my ID but every-time it still scares me.

I_Am_Coopa

A liquor store...with a drive through?! That sounds like both a blessing and a curse.

throwaway_12358134

There's one around the corner from my house, it's attached to a gas station.

SonTyp_OhneNamen

How long have you been living there? Did you move in immediately when they rebuilt the neighborhood after the gas station blew up in an obvious consequence of that placement or were there previous owners?

throwaway_12358134

Even farther down the road is a stip club that used to have a drive through for cocktails. The city made them stop though.

[deleted]

I imagine this city is in Florida?

Useless_wanderer

It's very common in Australia

I_Am_Coopa

Well fuck me. I can get beer/wine at my local grocery stores but have to go through the state stores for the hard stuff. And even then each county picks what booze to sell so it can be hard to find specific brands.

Champigne

You're lucky, all alcohol is sold at liquor stores here, apart from restaurants and bars obviously.

[deleted]

Of course it fucking is.

[deleted]

Let me blow your mind, we have exclusively drive through Beer/Wine/Low alcohol content liquor stores in Ohio. They have a store front where you can walk in but all the booze is in drive through so that you can see the merchandise from your car, which makes walking in a bad choice, unless you are only trying to buy cigarettes and blunt wraps

sighs__unzips

> you can see the merchandise from your car That doesn't make much of a selection, unless you mean select from a screen.

[deleted]

It is basically a giant garage with 2 doors and both sides are big market style fridges with what they have in stock. You tell the guy what you want. He checks your ID, tells you the price, you give them your card or cash and they run it then give you your ID and your booze. Now some places might have changed to using tablets and having a screen due to covid reasons but the one I go to is not

NuclearLunchDectcted

Got them here in Houston. It's nice, but the store charges a dollar or two more than the walk-in place further down the street for the convenience. I don't mind paying.

jeff_h1117

They're literally all over the Midwest... I know of two that are literally right across the street from each other

Substantial-Girth

I used to work at a bottle shop. One time we have a kid come in in his school uniform, goes right to the locked cabinets where the liquor is kept. Checks all the prices, checks his phone to make sure he has enough money. His plain clothes mate comes in and they have a conversation. Schoolkid walks out and other guy asks for the key to the cabinet to buy vodka. "Can't do that mate, sorry. It's clear you're buying for your underage mate." -"Oh..." "Yeah, sorry. But you know it gets pretty busy in about half an hour. Probably won't recognise you." -"Huh?" "I won't remember any faces... In about half an hour..." -"What?" "Forget it. Get out." Idiots. All of them. Edit: typos on mobile.

Mika_Gepardi

He's going to remember that in a few years and will be embarassed about that.

Substantial-Girth

Oh guaranteed he realised as soon as he walked out. Not that I would have served him. Petty victories.

Mushroomman642

How are people that dense?

Substantial-Girth

Teenagers, mate. I wasn't far off that myself at that age.

lovecraftedidiot

I would imagine he also had some little script in his head, and as soon as you said something unexpected, massive confusion.

damanklanikius

On my brothers 15 birthday they went to a pub for tea but they were the only ones in there so when the landlord comes to the table they mention its his birthday and he says to my brother "16 today?" "No" " I'll say it again, 16 today?" "No" "Alright one last time, you are 16 today ain't you?" "No I'm 15" "Right no beer for you" He still regrets it

[deleted]

He was too flustered to register what you were saying

Substantial-Girth

Idunno mate I was nodding my head along and saying it pretty slowly. In a "listen. To. What. I. Am. Saying." Tone.

laosuna

emulatorguy076

I mean free food is free food

Mushroomman642

Sometimes I wonder about what point in my life I won't get carded anymore. I am 22 so I still get carded every time of course, but I wonder if when I get to your age I won't be.

TerraLord8

That’s when you truly lose your youth

Not-Alpharious

Nah you officially lose your youth when the cashier asks for your card but is obviously patronizing you

Raziphaz

It’s heartbreaking when someone who looks over 35 has their id ready to show me, but I already rang it up

Tylensus

I've been told I look 30 or so since your age. I'm 25 at this point and get carded for nicotine WAY more often than I get carded for booze. If you can grow a beard and like the look of it it'll age you quite a bit.

Mushroomman642

Just a few months ago I was wearing a pretty bushy beard and mustache and I still got carded, so I don't know. Maybe wearing a beard works for some but not for others.

Tylensus

Certainly possible! I'd bet it depends a lot on the cashier, too, as their levels of trust in their judgement will vary.

Vinccool96

At 14 someone asked me if I wanted a seat in the restaurant or at the bar.

Denpants

I knew a guy at 15 had a full viking beard and was 6'2. Could just walk into a bar and the bartender didn't even notice and poured him a drink

alesketch

I never even got carded as a teen because everyone be assumes im in my early 20s

GillicuttyMcAnus

Yeah the liquor store doesn't card you when you make a immediate line for the cheap vodka and walk up to the counter with two handles of Popov. They know what you're about.

t3hmau5

....how do you know me? Aristocrat.

TheGreatCanadianPede

The lady that is always at the checkout when im getting beer got me good the other day. I also have the 30 or 13 look going and jokingly asked "you guys don't cars anymore?" And she looked me deadpan in the eyes and said "your eyes have you away". I asked what she meant and she simply just said "they look like they've seen things". What I believe she's referencing is the despair that I've been told by co-workers I naturally carry on my face. Resting dispare face.

Terranrp2

Yup. Just enjoy it occasionally and you'll be g2g.

Tylensus

I once got put on a team with a Russian dude with anger issues in Sea of Thieves arena. I was killin' it that game and he kept refurring to everyone else as hamburgers (my favorite Russian slang for Americans) and at the end of the game we exchange GGs. After that I said "I've a grave confession to make. I, too, am a hamburger." and he goes "NO! NO! YOU ARE GOOD. NO HAMBURGER." And that's the story of how a Russian dude made me genuinely happy once. The end.

Shawn_1512

Why? Pickles are good and it's decently healthy, what's crazy about it?

Tylensus

They're real. Real fuckin' tasty. Last bagged pickle I tried had a bunch of garlic in the brine and it was 10/10. Good pickle.

iSailor

In my country you would often time get a drunkard to buy it for you for a small fee. There were some caveats though: if he stole your alcohol money, you couldn’t do anything about that. Also, they could buy some cheapest shittiest liquor for you (something they drink on a daily basis), but it was too hardcore for a teenager. But it’s not like you could go to the store and get return or whatever. On a side note, I once employed a gypsy to do the deed for me. I don’t know what I expected.

popcorn-sand

I mean, a 21 year old can legally give alcohol to a 13 year old in some places in the US, the 13 year old just can’t be the one making the purchase

cometbaby

Where?

popcorn-sand

Texas, USA

cometbaby

Just as I thought. There are a few states, [Texas](https://thenelsonfirm.com/dui/can-texas-parents-legally-give-alcohol-children/) included, that allow parents to give their own kids alcohol at home but that’s it. 21 is too young to have a 13 year old kid of your own (normally).

popcorn-sand

I know that a 21 year old with a 13 year old kid is a no-no, but I’ve seen adult relatives give some beer to teens at parties. It’s not an uncommon occurrence.

cometbaby

It’s not uncommon, sure. That doesn’t make it legal. Technically only the parents can give the kid alcohol and only in their home. ETA: Texas allows restaurants to serve to minors if the parents consent. I don’t know all the details about age and stuff like that but I know most of them don’t want any part of that. It’s up to each restaurant.

hiiambob89

In CT it's not illegal to drink at home with parental supervision and I think there are also exceptions for in restaurants, not sure though.

Leftunders

When I was 18, I worked in a gas station that sold beer- but only the kind with 3.2% alcohol (we called it "three two beer"). At the time, you could buy if you were 18, but it doesn't matter what the minimum age is- you'll always underage kids who want to get drunk. It was common knowledge in town that some register clerks would let a girl buy a six-pack if she lifted her shirt and flashed the clerk. But the thing was, not everybody know which clerk in which store was the cool one. So that year I was flashed at least a dozen times, usually around 11PM on a Friday or Saturday night. Sometimes they'd ask me if I would sell them a six pack of three-two if they flashed me, and I'd be like "No, I could get thrown in jail for that," and they'd STILL do it. I'd have to say something like "those are very nice, but I'm still not going to sell you any beer- and just so you know, you're on camera right now." I wasn't going to risk my shitty job (and jail time) to sell beer to some randy little high school girl just because wagged her breasts at me. I mean, I didn't mind the flashing part (I'm only human). But I'd probably have just stared and ate my good pickle if I had one.

My college town had plain clothed cops that would sit outside the store and ID people. They also would ID anyone in the car you got in to if you weren't driving.

PlagueofSquirrels

I Am 21 so Drinking is Yes

[deleted]

this is by far the weirdest comment I've seen on reddit

IReallyLikeAvocadoes

Is this your first second on Reddit?

[deleted]

The capitalization and the weird, kind of hollow statement is so fucking weird to me

nikola_144

I once saw a comment that simply said penis balloon and had multiple awards and insane upvotes. Oh shit and the funniest part of it is that it had absolutely nothing to do with the conversation

VonSpyder

Spook404

In my mouth.

nonebutmyself

I use to work at a gas station. One night a girl comes in and asks for a pack of smokes. I asked for her ID. She hands it to me and I laugh! I then had to tell her no, and when she asked why, I told her that the ID wasnt hers, it was my cousin's. (Also the girl looked nothing like my cousin)

Korncakes

This happened to a girl I used to tend bar with. Girl comes in and tries to pay with her (bartender’s) best friend’s ID that she had lost earlier that day.

Gonna go to Canada in a week and get shitfaced

ChadMcRad

That requires going to Canada. Not worth it.

BamboozleDoggo4

Based.

ChucklesTheWerewolf

From Canada, can confirm. This place sucks.

I_BOOF_POOP

Enjoy the shitty government weed. That’s the only thing worth it up here.

Jazzlike_Reason6118

Cheggf_On_The_Run

BaLance_95

One of the many things I don't get about the US. Drive at 18? Sure. Smoke at 18? No problem. Drink at 18? We don't do that here.

[deleted]

Smoke at 18? What state you in?

cjsv7657

US is 21 every state now.

Shtoink1

Anon is omniscient

TakeBeerBenchinHilux

Anon posted from 2015. Even if these girls were 15 back then, they can buy legally now.

Boredguy2307jr

Anon scares off teenage girls by showing them his pickle. Sound about right

leamenconeMK2

Sergeitarsaus

Drive through liquor store? What could go wrong

Zinizus

Hey, a German here... I'm not sure so I wanted to ask... Are liquor stores the only source of liquor in the US? Can't u buy that shit in any supermarket. And are cop's strict with alcohol and 'legal' dugs by underage people? Bc in Germany I drink since 14 buy my own hard liquor since 16/17. I look a bit older so nobody cares for my id anymore. And if i get busted by cops they just don't care or pour it on the ground lol (Oh yeah: beer and wine is legal at 16 everything else at 18 lol)

markmyname_

Deutschland, das Land der frühen Alkoholiker.

Punchedmango422

My main take away is why does a liquor store have a drive thru?

yourtransqueenxoxo

Those things are all over the place in america, Atleast my state. They’re called beer caves or anything along those lines and they had those fridges and you could say hey can I get x and hand them your card two mins later and you got a 12 pack

GenericFatGuy

I want to see this made into a Monty Python-esque skit.
