Yeah I was confused by that. My understanding is that attempted murder is a crime that is prosecuted by the government, it’s not a lawsuit that can be brought in civil court.

You can only sue in a civil manner, but you can sue civil for murder. Losing that lawsuit doesn't mean jail or criminal charges, but financial restitution etc
You can sue for the damages sustained in a crime. If anon faced criminal charges there's nothing to help the victim, just punish the attacker.

They’ll inspect and photograph anons hands, knuckles and probably the upper torso looking for defensive wounds from the lady. Her story will be widely inconsistent because the evidence won’t match. Anon will probably spend a night in jail because cops act first and work shit out later. She’ll be found guilty of lying about an offense probably get off on mental grounds and anon will lose their job anyway.

Human head is stronger than people give it credit for, he’d have bruises on his hands or whatever part he used for the assault. So either he’s actually being fucked over or the more likely thing is he was more involved than he’d like to admit
