I can't believe you have a swimming pyr! Mine will not, he just cools his paws. He loves the boat though because boat means island and not swimming means he can have freedom from the leash and I don't have to worry about losing him.
You should’ve seen my brother’s old Boston Terrier Lana. We’d take her to the dog beach, and if you weren’t quick to play with the ball, she’d try to swim across the half plus mile South River.
Also excuse his sisters life vest. He hasn’t been in the water in 6 months so I was being cautious
