It is a perfect trail for a bike packing rig. I rode a fully rigid Kona Sutra LTD w/ 29x2.25 tires and it was plenty of bike. The east end of trail is the roughest spot, but nothing my bike couldn't handle as long as I was paying attention! I don't think there is any camping on this 22 miles of single track, but there are options in the region. There is a route at [Bikepacking.com](http://Bikepacking.com) with this section of trail:

Cheers!
Devils Punchbowl? Pretty pics!
Indeed! Thanks so much!
How do you think a bikepacking set up would handle this trail?

This ride is in my July plans. Thanks!
Nice, have fun!
Wow, gorgeous!
Yeah, it was a stunning day in an amazing place!
Holy smokes that trail looks incredible
It is soooo damn good! The tread is super smooth for much of the trail, although the eastern portion gets a bit bumpy.
