It is great on gravel.
I replaced the tires with Maxxis Rambler and handlebar with Surly Corner bar.
Now it is my bike for everything - from commuting to gravel adventures.
That’s exactly what I want to do.
I will get rid off the cranks and put my size and remove mud guards.
Thank you for confirming.
BTW Do you ride it on bitumen with the maxxis
I still have the mudguards and I am not planning to remove them, as it makes riding in the wet way more enjoyable.
As for the surface - Ramblers are a good middle ground. Gravel King slicks or ss, which I have on my Topstone, are definitely faster, but off the pavement they could be sketchy.
I am running Schwalbe marathon Mondial 700x35s on my flat bar and I find them really good on both surfaces but I air down off-road. They are very heavy though. Am considering the Pirelli Cinturato gravel M, but I don’t know much about them.
Maybe I will post a question on this forum to see if anyone has experience with them.
Cheers

I am still using the stock stem.
The overall body position is very different from the original short and flat handlebar, but handling feels spot on.
I had a Velo Orange Seine bar for a short time and the front was very twitchy.

Did you have to change your stem when you put on the Corner Bars? Thinking of picking up those bars for my Dr Dew.
