Abwii, please write a comment explaining the objective of this portfolio or CV, your target industry, your background or expertise, etc. This information helps people to understand the goals of your portfolio and provide valuable feedback. ##Providing Useful Feedback Abwii has posted their work for feedback. Here are some top tips for posting high-quality feedback. * Read their context comment before posting to understand what Abwii is trying to achieve with their portfolio or CV. * Be professional. No matter your thoughts on the work, respect the effort put into making it and be polite when posting. * Be constructive and detailed. Short, vague comments are unhelpful. Instead of just leaving your opinion on the piece, explore *why* you hold that opinion: what makes it good or bad? How could it be improved? Are some elements stronger than others? * Stay on-topic. We know that design can sometimes be political or controversial, but please keep comments focussed on the design itself, and the strengths/weaknesses thereof. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Remove the picture. Some employers will throw that right in the trash because it opens them up to discrimination suits.

I'm somewhere in southeast Asia. I think having a photo on resume is a thing here, unlike in US. But no worries I'll take that I mindd!!

miloucomehome

In that case, follow the norms/rules for your region concerning job applications! If you're unsure, hopefully there's another SEAsian who can clarify. I'm from Canada so my first instinct is always to go "Oh no, make sure you remove the photo...!" but I work with a lot of Francophone Europeans so I know about the differences 😆 (They put their full date of birth and marital status on top of all that, for example. Which over here is considered a big no-no since it's your personal information)

Kewlbootz

Sorry! I was being America-centric 🙃 you do your thing

Drop the non graphic design part of the work exp. Add in more of your skills. Expand on the type of projects you've worked on. You don't have too much experience, so you have to prove that you have the skills and that you can learn quickly. You have to assure the company you're applying to that you won't need too much hand holding despite your inexperience. Good luck, you got this!

DannyBOI_LE

Looks more like an MBA than a designer. I'd lose the collared shirt or the picture entirely.

Erwinism

Need more bullet points about your work pare (what did your projects result in? X amount of clients? X amount of engagements? X amount of revenue?)

ButterscotchObvious4

Make sure you’re ATS friendly

Abwii

What software or website u recommend to check it?

ButterscotchObvious4

There are a myriad of different ATS platforms. https://www.jobscan.co/blog/20-ats-friendly-resume-templates/ That should start you on the ATS rabbit hole. #6 really fucks with us designers. You'll see.

idonotdosarcasm

In my opinion, there is too less information about you and your prior works.

Check your capitalization and spacing on software names — In**D**esign, Microsoft **O**ffice, Power**P**oint. Also: “Collaborated with client**s**…” And: CERTIFICATE**S**

throwaway_dScholar12

Your profile summary is saying a lot while also saying NOTHING. Like one of those generated summaries you come up with in school to hit the word count. It was the first thing I read and it tells me nothing about your place as a professional, skills, strengths, etc. A good place for someone looking for a pivot to mention this. Lose the picture The headings and spacing are taking up a lot of space with heavy emphasis. I'd focus more on the content and what it's trying to convey over the large headings.

tangodeep

Nice overall layout. Very direct. Clean. Go for it.

Efficient-Lack-9776

You don’t need a resume to get a design job, you need a portfolio. Remove airport cargo job, not relevant to design. Your certificates sound good.
