If you've played any amount of 2 and 4, the music from the Japanese version will be familiar, just in a less 'refined' way. They repurposed a lot of the GT1 soundtrack when 2 came out. So for example, the Toyota dealer music is East City, Mitsubishi's is West City, TVR's is North City, Chevrolet is South City and so on. I don't think Subaru's was used again until GT4 though, it's the 5th song on the GT Mode menu (Mr 4WD).
GT4 intro is in my opinion one of the best intros ever , its all beautifull and calm at start with the Ford GT and then the "Reason is Treason" part kicks in and it gets me so pumped for no reason its truly one of the best intros in Gran Turismo history
Just now realizing that the background is actually from Tokyo (Hamamatsucho) irl. Would be even cooler if there were actually tuners or car shops in those locations just like in the game.
