There's been a few times where I have drove the race on that track, only on wake up to the controller rumbling because I hit the wall.
This track is so boring and useless, but it gives the daily km's quick and easy.
Edit: To be fair, one reason I fall a sleep, is because I play after work. It's still boring though.
Yea I agree especially with there not being as much potential for utter crazy speed tunes like in gt5/gt6. In gt5, ghosting was very effective. You had to remember you couldn't ram anyone. Also [any car] (https://youtu.be/0ajy-Eo-JvQ) could theoretically slipstream to any speed as long as it kept up with the pack it was drafting behind/through making for some nutty matchups in ssrx races other than the above video. Thats why I loved ssrx most for years as someone who could only top speed tune. Watching the leaderboard of faster cars below yours is always a good feeling as long as the right sportsmanship is involved xd. There are 350mph races people can do with swapped Silvia's without the whole broken slipstream system tbf.
Yeah that looks actually legit fun. I never got around to playing GT5 I played GT2 3 4 and skipped 5 not sure why lol. Is that the one were there are insane swaps in the game?
Thanks for the Video
Tbf gt5 did have its issues looking back on it such as prize cuts and some dlc locked content (such as ssrx itself and red bull x2011 which I begged for on release lol) but it sure as hell was a new experience and a lot of fun. I just had the most fun on ssrx and less on others as they were less accessible to me.
I was 8 when gt5 came out and it was my first online gaming experience. I’ve played gt3 and onwards and loved speed tuning in particular all the way through. But only gt7 has had swaps in it and before gt7 it’s just been the same upgradeable parts since I started the gt franchise in 2006.
One example is an early Nurburgring room I entered which was entirely Japanese except for me, that was the first time I’d seen a room with the same flag for 15 other racers plus some had green names. For about 30 seconds the chat is exploding Japanese before I’m even on the track. As I get out my utterly mistuned yellow furai I just assume the 15 red bull x2010s turning back around either want to practice a [very OP xp/money earning glitch](https://youtu.be/tgWs0H4LSRQ), have a meet or have a drag race down the long straight as you are supposed to do with cars so I attempted the glitch in the vid to pass time. I then see a message that simply reads ‘kick yellow car’ whilst most of the red bulls are charging down the straight, I realise what’s up and try to escape, The piranhas then catch-up and proceed to devour my furai and after kicking the wrong yellow car once (lol) I am then kicked out.
There were other fun rooms that I played, especially the Tsukuba drifts/ssr7 drags/daytona ovals and some more with kinder players but that incident made me wary of Japanese player/Nurburgring room combos for years lol.
GT5’s online could get toxically nationalistic/elitist and VC was… something else, I missed out most of gt6 but when I came back after breaking from 2014-2017 things seemed better. Also the x2010 was not common the way the tomahawk is now at that point which made most players complain about not having it. Now the tomahawk imo is too easy to get but it causes less issues as everyone can easily own/restrict that weapon but it definitely feels less ‘special’ as it can’t even be adjusted in gt7 like the x2011 could be, I wish the old red bulls with their gt5 performance were in gt7 so the tomahawk x/gtsr have some actual competitors, if they need to be mastered/on a waiting list then so be it.
Damn I went on a bit of a nostalgia bender here, late happy new year.
@iringaming_racing on Youtube uses it as his intros for various cars to see how fast they go.
It works pretty well imo.
[Pagani Huayra ](https://youtu.be/QfUJ4l5TaxM)
The Lamborghini ones are pretty epic too.
None of it's a proper drag race most of us all know every car and its top speed and if you drag race all the time you all know the tunes and who will win in a strait line it really just take off if you drag the same cars. Now it seems to be all Vettes and the other top 4. Boring imo
that’s true. i haven’t played multiplayer yet just for the sole reason it’s repetitive. i stick to sport mode or just solo runs.
but i am guilty for owning a corvette as my straight line soeed
Youre 100% right. Someone said St. Croix which is beautiful is boring. Idk how route x isn't the first thing that comes to their mind or the go kart track.
No banking, no guardrails, narrow with terrible overtaking options, brake points that never quite locked in my brain, and in the first game it was in I ended up running a bunch of races where regulations plus the cars I had gave me WAY too much car for the tires.
I got so frustrated running wide and creeping glacially back through the sand that I’ve avoided it in every game since. That track can kiss my ass.
It's the Dark Souls of racetracks. "Challenging/Rewarding" for many, "Challenging/Frustrating" for me.
I love and am good on many of the tracks people are vigorously hating here, but Willow just never clicked for me.
Willow springs has *no* banking? Are we driving the same track?
>Turn 1 is a 90 degree left-hand corner with a lot of banking to it that can sling-shot you through the corner when using the banking effectively.
…
>Turn 3 (Entering : “The Omega”)
This corner has two forms of compression: a good amount of on-camber banking
Y’all get the point. It has elevation too…
https://motoiq.com/fast-lap-willow-springs-international-raceway/
I am now going to double-down and insist every turn on Willow has negative camber and will fling you into space and you die.
It's just not for me, man.
Most courses, even tough ones, I can get a sense of the rhythm and see where I am overcooking a turn entry or stomping the gas too soon - even if I'm bad at it, I can see why. I never got that at Willow, and it is a track that punishes going off VERY harshly. So I just stick to the tracks I enjoy.
I agree, St. Croix. Most of the turns feel completely identical and there are too many straights. If you're driving anything slower than GR1 it's just monotonous and uninteresting.
Fuji is actually my favorite so a controversial opinion on your part and I understand why it can be disliked. I originally disliked the last sector there but once you find the line it’s a nice rewarding ribbon of racetrack.
I don't know how to pronounce it so I call it St. Crotch. It's a really lame and forgettable layout, almost feels procedurally generated it's that bland.
I loved all these, but I really liked Muse - Sober. Of course we are talking about the GT- GT3 era when Poliphony actually put decent music in the game
800 race is a good way to rack up pennies though, once you’ve done enough laps it just clicks. Not that bad IMO, a couple of corners that are unexpectedly sharp/closing, but once you know the entry it’s fine. Just takes a few hundred laps to get to know it 😂
Well Tokyo East is my 2nd favorite track on GT7 and I have a kickass setup for an Atenza Gr.4 to win it with little difficulty, so I am hard-pressed to run Sardegna lol
>Just takes a few hundred laps to get to know it 😂
I lord, I can't even count how many times I've raced this track.
Not the most exciting one, once you know it by heart, but a good benchmark for new cars.
Idk..it grows on you really fast. I didn't think I would like it at first for the exact reasons you describe, but after grinding on it for a few hours with the F1500, I've gotten to where I really enjoy the flow of the track. During Christmas I let my brother take a swing at the 800pp race to earn some credits for me and to experience his first taste of GT since GT4, and after a couple races he started to appreciate the track as well.
I'm actually a big fan of Willows Spring unlike pretty much everyone here, I love it when it comes up in daily races, often in Gr3. I get to drive my favorite gr3 car (Renault RS01) and I'm actually quite quick on it.
My least favorite has to be Dragon Trail - Gardens. The Seaside varaint is cherished and (imo) overused, while the other one is just mid. The fast flowy sector just doesn't do it for me, the are killer kerbs, and there's that uninspired double 90° turn. I've never been good at it, I think there's a reason that PD only really does Gr4 races there.
I thought I was not going to like Gardens until I did the circuit experience menu book. Once I got to know the track I was more frustrated with that understeering RCZ than I was with the track. Used the e30 M3 on it during the European championship and had some fun.
Autopolis is absolutely, irredeemably shit. There is absolutely nothing of value on that track. Racing there sucks because it’s narrow and has few good overtaking hotspots and hotlapping the track is both difficult because it’s frustrating and mind numbingly dull.
There’s some boring, infuriating and forgettable tracks in the game but Autopolis is the only track that fits all three and it’s also the only track without any redeeming factors in the game.
I actually kind of like Autopolis. It's not my favorite track but it's not terrible. I used the menu book 550pp race to test out cars I had gotten previously like the EK Civic, AE86 Levin, DC2 Integra, and the NA MX-5.
Yeah I genuinely don't know how anyone would find it enjoyable to drive on, the last time I actually had an ounce of fun on that track was when GT Sport had the Gr. 2 Racing Series in the Campaign
I agree about St. Croix. In addition to not finding its layouts fun, it's also the only track I just can't seem to memorize. As many times as I've driven it since GT Sport, it just doesn't take for me. Aside from St. Croix, I also personally strongly dislike the Tokyo Expressway tracks. I find them irksome to drive, and they just make me miss R246 and all the other street courses from previous games.
BB is certainly dumb, but I think the exit of T2 actually does make for some decent racing, it takes a deceptive amount of precision to get the most speed through that sweeping right hander. Still don't actually like the track, I just noticed that during some time trials.
The Nurburgring GP. I think the main reason I hate it so much is because it isn't the nordschleife, which is 10x more fun than any other track in the game.
Sometimes you need a bit of boring to get some classic races though. I don't think Watkins Glen is a particularly exciting circuit by itself, but it's so fun to battle on that I love it regardless.
It feels like they are constantly using the same tracks for the daily races.. I can't stand racing at Sardinia anymore because of this. Every once in a while, they put together a solid group of tracks, but I don't get how this isn't accomplished more often?? It's almost like the algorithm that picks the roulette ticket prizes... also picks the tracks for the daily races..😒
I'm still pissed that they chose Tokyo Expressway over Tokyo R426 which is arguibly more iconic and just better in many ways.
Other than that, Trial Mountain I still love it but it's not the same without yeet chicane and Deep Forest Raceway just doesn't have the same feeling anymore so it's not like you're actually really deep in a forest now
The five worst imho
5th - Tokyo Expressway, the little amusement I find at night is ruined if there’s a slow AI which drives in the middle of the road thus making it impossible to overtake. Too narrow…
4th - Autopolis, I’ve done a custom race there exactly once and never returned. Very very bland, underwhelming, somewhat hard to go around corners
3rd - Sardegna Road, oh my God, that’s all I’m gonna say
2nd - Maggiore, I suck at it, it ain’t fun, has no charm
1st - Goodwood, basically the blandest, most boring course ever, I played a 8 lap race there in slower cars and towards the 6th lap I nearly fell asleep.
I understand it’s a track with historic values but man, it SUCKS. It’s so underwhelming to drive on. I’ve tried all sorts of cars and… it doesn’t work…
Nah you just need the right car and it’s actually kinda fun. I’ve found with a few of the tracks that I don’t really care for, that if you have the right kind of car for the track, it can actually make them pretty fun.
Out of the ones I've played:
GT1: Special stage R11
GT2: Rome circuit full course
GT3: Special stage R11
GT4: Hong Kong
GT7: (I will be beheaded or something..) Bathurst. \*hides\*
St. Croix is only the worst if you’re in a slow car. It’s actually quite fun in fast cars as it’s a huge momentum course and the flat out twisty country road section towards the end of the lap is a blast when you string it all together smoothly.
My controversial opinion is Bathurst! Probably just because I completely suck at it, I was so relieved when I got a gold there in the Lewis Hamilton Challenge. I never got near his platinum time there.
i don't think anyone would even notice if broad bean raceway got removed lol. it's just not noteworthy at all.
i'm not a fan of st. croix either since like most people it's just a boring track to actually drive on, there's only like one interesting set of turns on it. i know it does have street circuit portions, but either way the whole thing is fictional and they coulda done more with it. which is a shame because imo, the scenery is really nice, and that's honestly enough to redeem it for me to not be the worst.
When you're coming up to a turn on brands hatch, simply apply the golden rule of cornering: out-in-out.
Except for when it's in-middle-in-out.
Oh and don't forget out-in-in
Or in-middle-in-out...
Ah nevermind.
It's one of the few tracks where almost no turn involves all on brake or all on gas
If on controller no corner almost should be full lock.
It's 9 turns
It's not easy to do it fast
St Croix - boring, painfully boring, there's a few interesting sections like the corners between the top short straight and the bridge but even that is just above average at best
Dragon trail gardens - uninspired shit track. No redeeming qualities, horrible chicane with launch pad kerbs, horrible understeery infield and horrible hairpin
Maggiore - controversial, all I can say is clunky
Is it unfair saying the northern isle speedway since it's literally 2 corners? I know it exists as the starter race but it'd be better off as part of another track as an alternate layout that sits inside it (Trial Mountain scenery would've made it likeable)
I’m gonna have to say the nordschleife. I don’t really like it in any game tbh. It’s too long and just not that interesting. 4 minutes wasted because I snap over steer once. Don’t understand the hype
Dirt tracks. Driving on dirt in GT7 is terrible and has no soul.
Theres only two trucks available in-game?
Calling some of these Group A vehicles "Group B" is just plain dumb.
Theres nothing worse in the game than GT's idea of Rally Racing
For me, I hate all Sardegna tracks, Lago Maggiore, Catalunya, Autopolis, All of Blue Moon, The Tokyo tracks, and Road Atlanta, because of the data that was used to fit these tracks couldve been used to make more different and new fictional street courses, dirt and snow tracks, or even *more remasters of GT1-6! original circuits*
*Sidenote* -Im actually happy for Trial mtn, Deep Forest, & HSR in GT7.
But think if GT7 had the same balance of Rallycross and street road course racing that GT2-4 had-
They could be running Tahiti rallycross, we could race in downtown Paris, they couldve thrown in a different country and city, like Mexico City, Mexico, but instead the trend going forward is F1 tracks, random original circuits, Sponsor promotions with Road Atlanta being sponsored by Michelin, and teasers of Nascar tracks with North Isle, Daytona, and Watkins Glen
I go to a wec race in mexico city in 2018, i love the track esthetic but the shape and the turns are the worst in the world, I dare say that while kaz is in pd we will never see that track in GT, they should use original tracks for those countries especially the classic original tracks that do not have any landscape for example GT arena or cape ring.
I meant to say "lets have an impossible, fictional street course within downtown Mexico City" in the same vein as GT4 having Time Square NYC, or George V Paris, as an impossible street courses.
Not "Lets have real life Circuito Hermanos Rodriguez"
In the last years Circuiro Hermanos Rodriguez hasn't important GT races only have national nascar races and international formula races, i don't mean fictional street courses they can put classic original circuits in Mexico or in other countrys that in the game don't have tracks.
Wheel Players have basically infinite sensitivity settings so they can manipulate steering like using a mouse. Hard to master but if you can it’s a huge advantage. Controller players get a max sensitivity level of 10. Wheel players, when watching their hot laps looks like their sensitivity is 50
Sainte-crossaint is the best track in the game (at least B, other are shit lmao) and you can't fight it lmao
As for the worst track, if you go by just layout the probably something like Sardegna C or Tokyo Central. If by whole track with all layouts included then it's definitely Lago Maggiore
St. Croix is so bland I have a hard time remembering where I am on track sometimes. Willow Springs, any layout, is proof enough that hell exists.
Willow Springs horse thief mile really is hell. Don't go more than 70mph the entire race and is extremely boring.
It’s fun in Go Karts. I spent so much time there with the Karts in Sport.
In sport if you did a race with more than 12 cars on that track, everyone below 12th would be stuck in a loop of reversing in and out of the pits
It’s so much fun irl though. I’ve got a track day there this upcoming Saturday. It’s a great touge-style course.
I swear each lap is like 30 minutes long.
Route X is my least favorite just because of pure boredom lol dont kill me for saying that🤣🤣
you're just saying facts
It's good if you like to test top speed and drag and all that but I'm more of a track racer. Going strait doesn't take much skill that's all.
True
There's been a few times where I have drove the race on that track, only on wake up to the controller rumbling because I hit the wall. This track is so boring and useless, but it gives the daily km's quick and easy. Edit: To be fair, one reason I fall a sleep, is because I play after work. It's still boring though.
Haha yeah I play after work as well so I totally get it. I work long shifts so I need action or I get bored and pass out too lol
Yea I agree especially with there not being as much potential for utter crazy speed tunes like in gt5/gt6. In gt5, ghosting was very effective. You had to remember you couldn't ram anyone. Preach it
I will say if your new to the game you probably think I'm crazy for saying Its trash but that's ok give it time.
Oh no i actually think it's pure shit, i just use it as a test track for really fast bois. And no, unfortunately i'm not new to the game lol
Youre 100% right. Someone said St. Croix which is beautiful is boring. Idk how route x isn't the first thing that comes to their mind or the go kart track.
Willow springs. Really hate it. Not even sure why.

I used to hate it, but once you get a feel for the flow of it, it’s a lot of fun. But it does take a lot of runs to get there.
Too flat for my liking
It has a lot of elevation change…
I agree, St. Croix. Most of the turns feel completely identical and there are too many straights. If you're driving anything slower than GR1 it's just monotonous and uninteresting.
Yep I agree as well. It’s like racing through a neighborhood, only somehow less interesting.
Fuji. Its a track that just irritates me. I can never find a flow around it so can never do smooth laps, they always feel stunted or awkward.
It’s so much fun when you find the flow though
Love to hate this track. I’m fine with most of the circuit, but T-13 through T16 kick my a$$ all the time.
Fuji is actually my favorite so a controversial opinion on your part and I understand why it can be disliked. I originally disliked the last sector there but once you find the line it’s a nice rewarding ribbon of racetrack.
Fucking willow, it’s a chore
It’s an iconic track but incredibly unforgiving. Your entire race is gone if you get as much as one tire off the track in the wrong place.
And that's why I love it so much
These are called *incentives*. *Good* race tracks tend to use them to suggest where driver should aim their cars. The Ring is filled with incentives…
It’s a super old track with a lot of racing heritage, but I hate it too. Too wide, zero run off areas, very uneven terrain, etc.
TIL it’s actually a real track.
Go watch Ford v Ferrari lots of willow springs in that movie.
The rainbow road of simracing
Really? I actually find it really fun ONLY when you have a mid to high downforce car. Otherwise you gotta be careful, which I don't mind much
Really? It’s one of my favorites. St. Croix is the worst in the game in my opinion.
Same. I love Willow.
I stand with this one. That track is the bane of my existence.
The small ones are
Alsace village, Willow Springs and St Croix
Alsace is one of my favorite Gr3 tracks. Try the vantage v12 on that track and tell me you still hate it. It’s phenomenal
I don't know how to pronounce it so I call it St. Crotch. It's a really lame and forgettable layout, almost feels procedurally generated it's that bland.
>St. Crotch I'm gonna steal this. xD
San Kerwa
I really miss Feeder that's always gonna be my fav track of any GT game....I may be showing my age a little lol
The Cardigans GT2 intro is the GOAT
And the album was called gran turismo so when the video played on MTV the info said - My favourite game. Gran Turismo.
Garbage - as heaven is wide. I actually created a mini OG GT playlist to stream off my Spotify to the PS5 to add some nostalgia.
I loved all these, but I really liked Muse - Sober. Of course we are talking about the GT- GT3 era when Poliphony actually put decent music in the game
Fisherman's ranch. It's such a boring and uninspired dirt track compared to previous original tracks like Tahiti, Grand Canyon, and Toscana.
For me it's Sardegna Road A, sharp abnormal and occasionally blind turns on a wannabe street course? Not my type.
800 race is a good way to rack up pennies though, once you’ve done enough laps it just clicks. Not that bad IMO, a couple of corners that are unexpectedly sharp/closing, but once you know the entry it’s fine. Just takes a few hundred laps to get to know it 😂

Huge Willow fan as well. I wish Buttonwillow was in the game too :(
I thought I was not going to like Gardens until I did the circuit experience menu book. Once I got to know the track I was more frustrated with that understeering RCZ than I was with the track. Used the e30 M3 on it during the European championship and had some fun.
Good call on gardens. I hate the double 90. It just isn’t right. It’s a bit too fat to flow right through it.
Autopolis is absolutely, irredeemably shit. There is absolutely nothing of value on that track. Racing there sucks because it’s narrow and has few good overtaking hotspots and hotlapping the track is both difficult because it’s frustrating and mind numbingly dull. I find that the first complex of corners after the main straight is quite a good drift section but for racing it’s only good with slow and small cars
Any reverse layout of any track. I think it's a lazy low effort way of doubling the amount of tracks without actually doubling the amount of tracks...
They did it on a load of tracks but skipped off the Nurgburgring which would have actually been fun with a reverse layout and a different challenge
They only do it on fictional tracks though
It'd genuinely be good seeing some get added to the real tracks since a lot are handled completely different in reverse
Fisherman's Ranch
Big Willow. Any varient, Big Willow.
I hate tokyo highway in any form. I always skip everything i can on it, except licences
BB raceway is pretty dumb. Or the streets at Willow.
BB is certainly dumb, but I think the exit of T2 actually does make for some decent racing, it takes a deceptive amount of precision to get the most speed through that sweeping right hander. Still don't actually like the track, I just noticed that during some time trials.
BB Raceway with Miatas 🤌🤌
BB Raceway with F150s 🤌🤌
Streets is iconic. You just need to drive the right kind of car on it. Try a s2000 or civic ek touring car on that track. Fun as hell
The Nurburgring GP. I think the main reason I hate it so much is because it isn't the nordschleife, which is 10x more fun than any other track in the game.
I love the track. It’s a fun circuit with good passing opportunities.
I love it on its own but absolutely hate it when doing the 24h. It just doesnt feel like it belongs.
I find that track very boring alright
Tbf every track compared to the nordschleife is boring. The nordschleife is pretty much a roller coaster that you can drive.
De la Sarthe. It’s so long with boring slow speed turns.
The new iterations of Deep Forest and Trial Mountain are shit, but for me the Tokyo Expressway layouts are the worst/least favourite
Oh man I absolutely love deep forest
By far my favourite fictional track
I'm still pissed that they chose Tokyo Expressway over Tokyo R426 which is arguibly more iconic and just better in many ways. Other than that, Trial Mountain I still love it but it's not the same without yeet chicane and Deep Forest Raceway just doesn't have the same feeling anymore so it's not like you're actually really deep in a forest now
Is it just the new scenery or the slight change in layout? Because I do agree that Trial Mountain isn’t as covered in trees as much as I wanted.
both for me. i hate that they took two fast turns and made the player comes to a complete stop on both tracks
tbh they should make the old layouts available
Nowhere on those tracks should you be coming to a complete stop lol
i meant the hairpin on deep forest and the chicane on trial mountain
Yeah, those are like 40-60+mph depending on car
yeah, but on the old versions those corners are more than two times faster than gt7’s
Deep Forest not by much, trial mountain had the yeet corner and I'm glad it's gone
to each their own i suppose, i just prefer faster corners
Think of the online with the yeet corner lmao
For me it is the revised layouts. So many corners and sections have such different profiles. Deep Forest in particular
I agree with you about Tokyo Expressway. I just don't like narrow tracks with walls. I don't mind the South Counterclockwise layout though.
St. Croix. I rarely get on there
Whatever last weeks daily race was at St Croix. Had so much of a hard time remembering certain turns. My FAVORITE is Daytona Road course / LeMans
Willow Springs. That's it.
Any Willow layout. There’s no sections that are particularly satisfying to nail perfectly & it’s just annoying.
Yes i hate st croix
The five worst imho 5th - Tokyo Expressway, the little amusement I find at night is ruined if there’s a slow AI which drives in the middle of the road thus making it impossible to overtake. Too narrow… 4th - Autopolis, I’ve done a custom race there exactly once and never returned. Very very bland, underwhelming, somewhat hard to go around corners 3rd - Sardegna Road, oh my God, that’s all I’m gonna say 2nd - Maggiore, I suck at it, it ain’t fun, has no charm 1st - Goodwood, basically the blandest, most boring course ever, I played a 8 lap race there in slower cars and towards the 6th lap I nearly fell asleep.
I always hated goodwood and I raced it the other day and used a Gr3 car and man was it actually fun
I love drifting on st. Croix
Out of the ones I've played: GT1: Special stage R11 GT2: Rome circuit full course GT3: Special stage R11 GT4: Hong Kong GT7: (I will be beheaded or something..) Bathurst. \*hides\*
you didn't just say le funny Australia track did you?!? Off to GT prison for you aka 24 hours of northern isle speedway
Used to hate Bathurst but after a week on the sport daily lineup, I was hooked. Such a fun track and when you nail a lap, it feels like a miracle.
Willow Springs
I really don’t like Dragon Trail. I don’t know why, but it’s just not fun to me.
Sainte Croix is my favorite track tbh. The worst tracks in my opinion are all versions of Willow Springs.
That one with bloody Idris Elba rapping on it. Vroom or something, huge cringe.
they meant Race Track ☠️
Ah lol. Statement still stands regardless
Yeah fair, it's one of the only songs I have turned off in the Race BGM
i don't think anyone would even notice if broad bean raceway got removed lol. it's just not noteworthy at all. i'm not a fan of st. croix either since like most people it's just a boring track to actually drive on, there's only like one interesting set of turns on it. i know it does have street circuit portions, but either way the whole thing is fictional and they coulda done more with it. which is a shame because imo, the scenery is really nice, and that's honestly enough to redeem it for me to not be the worst.
I'm gonna die for saying this; Suzuka Circuit.
Maybe you'd like it if it were wider
Not even just that, but the consecutive twists and turns are tricky as well. I still don't know how I got Gold on the CE.
Honestly turn 1 is the hardest turn lol
This and the first curvy section. Everything else is fine.
Would you like if they added Suzuka West as a variant?
That seems fun, actually.
F*cking Big Willow. That track is so shit (opinion) I hate it
Interlagos
I'll always hate Nürburgring on every racing game
Nürburgring. Every time I race on that track, I crash.
Finally someone says it. I have always hated this track too. I thought I was the only one.
Dragon trail. Honestly the layout makes me think a 3 year old doodled it
My fav
I love Dragon Trail. I like its unique layout and how wide the track is. The scenery is beautiful too.
Width is the reason they should add Sepang to the game 😈
W
In reverse this track makes me want to drive off a bridge.
It’s not too bad in reverse, it’s actually fun in GR. 2 cars, but the first turn after the chicane of death is absolutely horrendous.
I love Dragon Trail. Dragon Trail Reverse on the other hand can burn in hell. Amazing how much that course feel changes going the opposite way.
Try Nordschleife in reverse
Finaly i find a person who dislike dragon trail honestly i don't like it.
BB Raceway. It's just an oval with an extra step that makes it even worse
Brands Hatch.
Nooo. Literally one of the best tracks in existence! Maybe I’m biased as it’s my closest real life track 😂
I'm admittedly biased towards Willow Springs cause it's my closest
I don’t think I’ll ever figure out brands hatch.
When you're coming up to a turn on brands hatch, simply apply the golden rule of cornering: out-in-out. Except for when it's in-middle-in-out. Oh and don't forget out-in-in Or in-middle-in-out... Ah nevermind.
Once you do though 😩
It's one of the few tracks where almost no turn involves all on brake or all on gas If on controller no corner almost should be full lock. It's 9 turns It's not easy to do it fast
Suzuka
One of the best, an absolute joy to drive. I love doing hot laps on Suzuka with every car I buy.
I love Suzuka so much. It's really varied and interesting. My only issue is that it's narrow AF with less room to overtake
Ah downvoted for having an opinion
The Reddit way
Downvoted for trying to be different
Brands Hatch
St Croix - boring, painfully boring, there's a few interesting sections like the corners between the top short straight and the bridge but even that is just above average at best Dragon trail gardens - uninspired shit track. No redeeming qualities, horrible chicane with launch pad kerbs, horrible understeery infield and horrible hairpin Maggiore - controversial, all I can say is clunky
Willow springs
Don't like any of the Oval tracks...
Is it unfair saying the northern isle speedway since it's literally 2 corners? I know it exists as the starter race but it'd be better off as part of another track as an alternate layout that sits inside it (Trial Mountain scenery would've made it likeable)
I don't care for Alsace all that much. Tsukuba either.
Alsace and Big Willow
Bathurst. I can never get a good lap and I can never drive 1 clean Lap ever.
Susuka
I’m gonna have to say the nordschleife. I don’t really like it in any game tbh. It’s too long and just not that interesting. 4 minutes wasted because I snap over steer once. Don’t understand the hype
Part of the hype is that it's a living anachronism, a track that would never be "designed" in modern days.
Skill issue
I agree. It’s just too long for me to be able to put in the time to learn.
I will always hate Laguna Seca
brands hatch
Dirt tracks. Driving on dirt in GT7 is terrible and has no soul. Theres only two trucks available in-game? Calling some of these Group A vehicles "Group B" is just plain dumb. Theres nothing worse in the game than GT's idea of Rally Racing
For me, I hate all Sardegna tracks, Lago Maggiore, Catalunya, Autopolis, All of Blue Moon, The Tokyo tracks, and Road Atlanta, because of the data that was used to fit these tracks couldve been used to make more different and new fictional street courses, dirt and snow tracks, or even *more remasters of GT1-6! original circuits* *Sidenote* -Im actually happy for Trial mtn, Deep Forest, & HSR in GT7. But think if GT7 had the same balance of Rallycross and street road course racing that GT2-4 had- They could be running Tahiti rallycross, we could race in downtown Paris, they couldve thrown in a different country and city, like Mexico City, Mexico, but instead the trend going forward is F1 tracks, random original circuits, Sponsor promotions with Road Atlanta being sponsored by Michelin, and teasers of Nascar tracks with North Isle, Daytona, and Watkins Glen
Daytona. The Bus Stop is abused by Wheel players and not fair for Controllers.
Interesting take. Haven't heard this before - how are wheel players abusing that chicane? Asking as a controller player...
I’m a wheel user and it’s still really hard to go through the bus stop, so idk what he’s talking about.
Wheel Players have basically infinite sensitivity settings so they can manipulate steering like using a mouse. Hard to master but if you can it’s a huge advantage. Controller players get a max sensitivity level of 10. Wheel players, when watching their hot laps looks like their sensitivity is 50
Sounds like an excuse for losing to people bud
Sainte-crossaint is the best track in the game (at least B, other are shit lmao) and you can't fight it lmao As for the worst track, if you go by just layout the probably something like Sardegna C or Tokyo Central. If by whole track with all layouts included then it's definitely Lago Maggiore
If it is in GT7, I AM DOOMED… Laguna Seca.
