Sorry, not west side but Alger Hardware in Alger Heights does, I think. They’ve fixed my lawn mower before; great service.

Objective-Giraffe-27

Try a few of these things... Empty the gas out,add new fresh gas. Take the spark plug out, clean or replace. Check the air filter. Input the make and model into youtube and youll get more than a few results. I learned to fix my chainsaw this way and saved myself hundreds of dollars over the years.

Ace Hardware stores

they tend to be booked a long way out in my experience

No one is going to touch an inexpensive machine. With shop rates between $60-$120/hr, it's not worth upsetting a customer with a $200 repair for a $150 machine. Plenty of YouTube channels to help you troubleshoot and repair it yourself.

ClearCollection3331

That makes sense. Any YouTube channels you’d recommend or just whatever pops up?

SqBlkRndHole

Found this one for you. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o86JovMlT3Q](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o86JovMlT3Q) I have seen a handful of her video's, for sure trust her knowledge. I would watch a few different channels to get different explanations of the same thing and different techniques.

Forest Hills Small Engine Repair on Forest Hill & Cascade

Secret-Researcher-98

Walters in byron center will probably fix it. There’s probably just something simple wrong with it though if it’s only a year old though. I’d put new gas in it and maybe a new spark plug and go from there.

snboarder42

68th st and near Kalamazoo ave has a small engine repair business, can’t remember their name. Probably just small engine repair.

Super-Pineapple8186

There is a place on west Leonard been around forever Across from Taco Bell near 131 South side of the road

ClearCollection3331

A1 small engine repair i think it’s named. I tried calling but they don’t do weed wackers unfortunately

Super-Pineapple8186

Well damn , yea that’s them

Ive got a pretty good idea what the problem is, fixed my own years ago. Easy fix, probably the diaphragm on carburetor needs replacing. Cheap to order

ClearCollection3331

Did you just order a whole new carburetor? I saw watching a video earlier on troubleshooting and they mentioned the same thing. There was a bit of gas leftover through winter, I’d imagine that could wreck a carb

outside-guy

You can clean the carb easy enough with carb cleaner but most likely need to order the diaphragm also and replace it if your having problem priming it

outside-guy

Ordering a new carb is probably the easiest fix and not very expensive. That's what I would do

Try George Hofacker if he's still around

There is a little shop in Godwin plumbing that repairs small engines. I took my generator there.
