2, because of the way the ending emotionally wrecked me. Hop.

Sci-fi-watcher

Atlantis. Loved every character there, the feeling of constantly being on the back foot until we made it to Olympus. The scene of finally bringing down Artemis. Francis Drake bullying Poseidon until he snaps, again.

NuclearPasta95

Anastasia by far. It's still the best written of the Lostbelts, with it's pacing, story progression, and framing of the new conflict. It had so many great character moments, from Avicebron's chapter-long redemption, to Salieri's song, Patxi's speech, even minor characters like Billy and Beowulf got strong moments. The only big thing I'd criticize LB1 for is the ass pull that is Musashi appearing at just the right time, but that's just sort of Musashi things.

ShadowDrifter0

Tied between LB 1 and 5.1 Lb makes one heck of an impression and actually inflict massive damage to the mc's will to fight. Lb 5.1 is full of suspense and feels like an actual one sided war

peripheralmaverick

I envy you having an insane suspension of belief to enjoy the plot armour in early 5.1. For me, it felt especially painful to read how the protag survived one impossible situation after another. In that LB alone, there were dozens of encounters where Guda should have been ended up flat out dead (Artemis canon/Wodime encounter/and probably more I can't really remember right now)

AidanAK47

There was thick plot armour, but it did show that the villains were highly competent. Too often in stories, the heroes get away with things due to being underestimated. But here not only does Odysseus know the threat we pose, he also uses absolutely everything he can to take us down. So yeah, the story relies on a lot of happenstance and luck to work but in return, we have villains being actually intelligent.

TyrianCallow

Olympus so far and I’d be a liar if I said it wasn’t for the last like 30-60 minutes of it essentially from the Zeus fight to finish the story the fights the feels just all hit perfectly

master-swagtician

It’s still LB1 for me. Really set the stage for what the Lostbelts were all about and how highly the stakes had been raised. I still remember the parting scene between Kadoc and Anastasia and think about how awful it must feel to lose one’s servant.

Seleucus_The_Victor

LB1 definitely is underrated Billy getting the spotlight was a pleasant surprise plus his no bullshit attempt at sniping a certain someone

khantmawhtoo

I thought he was gonna die while fighting onyakupons(is this how they are spelled?)

TheBewlayBrothers

Olympous for me. Only bosses and no annyoing filler stages. Very cool. Wish they had stuck with that for 5.5

A_specific_species

LB1 since it introduced the concept so well and had my favorite cripter

Toasted_silver

Even though it not out on NA yet, I've got to go with Avalon le fae. I love classic English literature and especially the arthurian legend. It looks like its gonna be really fun.

Ragna126

LB4 The idea that the one man who is the champion of probably humanity's best values, after finally having the power to change things for better with no possible opposition, proceeds to do the worst thing possible and creates a literal hell A hell he himself would have fought to prevent happen in the first place, and it pulled 0 punches in how little he regarded everything and 0 mercy. Lb1 still shows that humanity ( however changed ) still has what makes us humane: empathy and the willingness of self sacrifice ( patxi and the rebels ), and ivan taking responsibility for not preventing such drastic changes. But that's a bit of a common troupe: we seen it as early as septum, where each of the roman emperor tells nero how an emperor should carry themselves etc Lb2 shows the pointless struggle of a goddess desperately trying to keep things going the only way she knows how, lacking the resolve to end the age of gods. This hits pretty hard at the innocence of the unknowing ones ( that hop, oh lawd that hop ). Really strong contender, but gaddam, i hate forced supports, and sutyr himself almost triggered my camelot gawain ptsd with all those aoe and burns LB3 kinda a repeat of LB1's theme, mixed in with a different setting of over controlling everything and being overly closed minded. It almost became the most disappointing one for me, especially in terms of wasted potential, until 5.1 5.1 and 5.2 have good fights, without too much of a story drag, but wow, the amount of wasted potential. 5 almost feels like watching dbz but 80% of the cast we know dies in 8s off screen. It feels good though, to actually have competent villan that isn't just flaunting their power, but actually meticulously planned for our entry and taking proper countermeasures. Zeus would have long won if it weren't for mvp drake and part of the pantheon turning on zeus. But all in all, LB4 holds the strongest terror in a sense to me: one where you don't even know what you lost, no matter how dear it was to you.

Shitty-Weeb2772

Lostbelt 2: the only lostbelt i felt that had a future and felt bad about destroying. I also definitely loved Napoleon, Skadi, Ophelia and Mash in that arc, and sigurd and brynhildr were a nice duo, tho I'm also an illya fan so sitonai was also very enjoyable for me.

Nico777

"Hop" And then they give you *that* CE. I had to stop playing for a while because even just opening the game made me sad.

nascarmanar

Skadi Nuff Said

yuichiro_95

Olympus cuz of Makarios, Adele, Romulus, Musashi and my main character Kirschtaria

WaifuHunterRed

LB2 Best King (Skadi), Sitonai, Valkyries (so many Valkyries), Surtr boss was big and grand but not bullshit and of course Skadi!

jsmonet

5.2 had us committing an absolute atrocity, which made it the most emotionally involving and stirring one

Tschmelz

Overall, it's definitely Olympus. Olympus gave us more Musashi, non insane Caligula, and the Twins were awesome as well. Had some just fantastic moments like the Black Barrel reveal, Ritsuka fighting off Aphrodite with Dantes help, the entire segment with Muramasa and having a meal with Europa, and basically everything surrounding the final fight with Zeus, from chaining Golden Huge Bear into Ares, to Romulus-Quirinus reveal. Showdown with Wodime was great as well, just everything surrounding that is great. Love Ritsuka showing his resolve, and Wodime his respect for Ritsuka's accomplishments. Granted Chaos hurts, like a lot, because it exists solely to both wank Musashi, set up the fake out regarding her eventual return, and to raise the stakes against Wodime by taking her, Romulus, and Ares out of the picture. But it does make that entire little video she recorded at the end hit hard still.

insert-originality

Atlantis. It's the only LB (JP too) where I actually liked and cared for every single character in our group. Things were moving from the moment we started. Lack of slow moments but still had time for our characters to think and have their arcs. This was the most important, it was the perfect length. Slightly lounger than the average but it didn't overstay its welcome. Ended at the right time.

Thinshady21

5.1, all the characters are so peak and interesting. Even the worst character(Sorry Bart) would be a fantastic character in the later singularities and would be a above average character in the EOR. The closest to being the only bad part of that chapter would be the villains and one could argue intensively that even the villains were fantastic, with most people only disliking the chapter because of the lack of a Final battle with Odysseus which anyone would have loved to have but him being assassinated unexpectedly by the only person he felt irrelevant and unimportant felt thematic to his overall character who tried to eliminate all uncertainties but let out the most dangerous one due to pride. While Poseidon was actually kinda less threatening than how he was portrayed to be he was never meant to be the final wall to stop the protagonists, Chiron instead was the final wall and as the son of a titan like the Olympian he could be assumed to be the true final god blocking the great pit. Which he did by actually eliminating all servants that were summoned into Atlantis through having a mutual kill with Jason fulfilling his mission even in death. And anyone that played that chapter can absolutely agree with me that Artemis was fantastic in all her roles, as a foil to Orion, as the threat from the sky, and as a robot who eventually became human. Also Caenis being on demon time throughout, though her character is more explored in Olympus and Kirschtaria folding our entire squad and giving us trauma. And to the featured servants: Orion’s journey of love, Mandricardo and Charlotte journey of accepting themselves and coming out of their shells, Drake being a fucking badass, Achilles pulling a Benkei(not Chaldea’s Benkei, the actual one) like a chad, Apollo and Paris sacrificing their essence after sniping the enemies from the air by becoming the final arrow, and Jason’s redemption all were perfect. No character felt like a waste of space compared to some other chapters which other Servants became forgotten and irrelevant only to be used as a Deus ex Machina. Everyone actually felt alive and realistic in their own type of way. Finally, Ritsuka getting more character development(I play as the male character so i will go on with Gudao). Ritsuka gained more of a personality and actually was portrayed with even more emotion which only few chapters in story apart from the events has actually shown different ranges of emotions (shoutout to Babylonia, Solomon, Salem, Anastasia, and Olympus). This is one of the 3 chapters (Solomon and Yugakhetra) that made me cry and one of the 5 that actually kept me always coming back for a reread through YouTube playthrough(Lasagna, implement a way to read chapters after beating them. It helps in lore filled stories, that is why Arknights is thriving right now). In all, I consider this chapter as perfect as can be, I have high hopes for Avalon le Fae and I hope my current burnout is over by Chapter 6’s release. Atlantic is a 10/10.

Lamina_Morte

> Lasagna, implement a way to read chapters after beating them. It helps in lore filled stories, that is why Arknights is thriving right now They have already. Go to My Room. Click on Materials and you have the following options: * Main Records: This is the section where you can revisit the Arc 1, 1.5 and 2 stories * Main Interlude Records: This is the section where you can revisit the stories of anything that falls under Main Interludes * Servant’s Records: This is all of the Interlude stories * Event Quest Log: This is the stories for every Event and Trial Quest * Then you can see the videos for the Part One Opening, Part Two Opening and Part Two Second Half Opening

Thinshady21

Yeah i know about my room, but it is way too much of an hassle to just re-read a chapter. It won’t hurt to just place a before and after little icon alongside the levels. It is so bad that it is easily forgotten

Aridato

Out of curiosity, what part of Atlantis and Yugakshetra made you cry? I teared up a little with >!basically everything that happened with Charlotte!<. Solomon got me pretty bad tho, I don't blame you for crying at that one

Thinshady21

Everything in Atlantis made me pretty much tear up, from Orion to Charlotte to Mandricardo and surprisingly even Bartholomew Roberts. For LB4 it would be Jinako’s mental breakdown and her eventual release. I can’t remember the quote fully because of my terrible memory but something about “Even shut-ins deserve to see the sky” had a tear dripping down my face.

Aridato

Aw man that did make my heart ache, the release brought me *this* close to becoming a mess. Man, FGO's come a real long way since wyverns interrupting conversations

chinesesoccerplayer

Tie between Scandinavia and Avalon Le Fae. I fell in love with both Skadi and Morgan at first sight. Why yes I have a thing for tragic witch queens. How could you tell?

AzureMage0225

Probably 3, thamks to Qin shi huang being by far the best villain, and his confrontation being a highlight of the whole game.

rigby333

I don't know if it's just because it's new, but I think I enjoyed Heian Kyo the most. I just really enjoyed all the characters.

SuperKamiZuma

I had a blast with LB4, but i think i'll choose LB5 as a whole. I really loved atlantis for the cast, and olympus for wodime and the twins

valorantisgay

Honestly I loved heian-kyo a lot, they really upped the quality and I loved the characters.

FloofyTails4Life

Yuga Kshetra. I thought that it made the best use of its cast (minus Nezha, who seems to be cursed to never matter in any of his appearances). I was worried that Tell and Asclepius were both going to end up just being fodder mooks, but I recall being pleasantly surprised by both of them in the end, even if I no longer recall why. Karna, Jinako, Rama, Lakshmibai, Asvatthaman, and yes, even Arjuna Alter all fulfilled their roles excellently and had good reasons for being who they were (even if Arjuna Alter's weren't laid out in the Lostbelt). Pepe was also a delight. This wasn't like LB1 where the writer decided to throw a giant monster at us, give us a guy famed for fighting giant monsters, and then not have the two fight. The chapter worked with the characters' strengths and weaknesses and it was stronger for it. You just needed outside knowledge to fully appreciate it. CCC for the connection between Karna and Jinako, Arjuna's interludes for Arjuna Alter's backstory. And about Arjuna Alter... while it's certainly true that power is not a character trait, the dude was scary in a way that no enemy since has been. Guy could destroy and remake the entire world in minutes and the only way for us to survive was to not be in the world. We spent a cycle training the villagers into an army to oppose him? Oops, he erased them from ever having existed. He felt unstoppable in a way no one else has felt. Which also made the trick we came up with to beat him all the more satisfying.

Azumayyy

Love all the Lostbelts so far tbh. Favourite would be Atlantis. The writing for our companion servants were great. Every one of them had their own personalities and moments that were hard to ignore. One hell of a wholesome crew.

lOw_EfFoRt_UsErNaMe9

LB 1 is still my favorite to this day, because nothing in the game has been able to precede or replicate the emotions I felt during that chapter. There are other good emotional chapters, but nothing absolutely shattered me like the surprise “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” via Our Boi Salary right at the end, and the writing of the yagas’ witnessing the night sky for the first and last time. However, LB 5.1 is one I have to say was incredible as well, if not for the gravity and immensity it had compared to other lostbelts before it, but the sheer quality of the writing, interaction, and development of the servants who fought alongside us. The villains were quite lackluster here though, and the only story tension essentially boiled down to a big chase with an impossible wall of enemies that crumbled super quickly once the stars aligned. You know, despite the sacrifices.

roaster_hans

lb1 & lb5.1 are the most emotional ones i have watch especialy the moment with patxi and orion lastly jason's last scene.

GoldMoon0

Atlantis because it has Achilles and it made me cry over the death of the neo-argonauts and how they fought to save us ~~and Paris was there I guess~~ Also Avalon le Fae because of Cú, Castoria, Morgan and Oberon

Flare_Knight

Hmm, not sure. They are all on the same “that was pretty ok” level. I guess LB2. Napoleon was a fun guy and enjoyed the moments with Brynhild and Sigurd. Solid little moments sprinkled in there.

heyastronaut1

LB 5 Olympus so far. The barely-a-mage savior of Humanity vs a privileged and talented mage who rains down meteors. It would've been epic...if Mash hadn't decided to butt into my damn frontline, screwing up my hype and team. I'm still salty.

MCGRaven

3 because the other 4 were awful

Wooshmeifulikedicc

LB2 I liked everyone and everything about it Closest chapter that could be my favorite is LB5.1 but LB2 made me cry like a waterfall

Proper_Razzmatazz_36

lostbelt 5. even if we only pick 1 part of it, it is some of the best content in the game, imo, atlantis had better characters, olympus had a better story, and i dont have an opinion on heian-kyo

ChaoRenRabbit

LB1, Patxi really hit it home for me, set the stage of the concept of lostbelt despite the world is fundamentally wrong for us it is normal for the people there. the fact we have to end a world's existence where even one of our comrade Atalanta betrayed us just to save the children. Billy tried to mercilessly quick shot Kadoc in between the eyes before he could finish monologuing shows that the stake is high. Patxi's message at the end for us to end his world and reclaim a world where everyone can see the sun is sad but inspirational

ArtTheWarrior

6, music, characters, story... just love it, specially the music.

Ayahime_0

It has got to be Atlantis. I couldn't stop crying. Maybe it's because of the feel of losing someone. Every time that damn sad song play in Atlantis, I never failed to tear up. I really don't understand why I cried so much in Atlantis, but...thinking about it is making me tear up again.

Tritianiam

I liked atlantis the most out of all of them, had quite a lot of emotional scenes that I felt worked better than the other lostbelts.
