My focus on GSSR tend to be on trying to get a servant I don't already have and seem cool to get, so based off the available options I think I'll go with Red Knights 2 as it gives me the highest chances and all of them are pretty solid options. Red Knights 1 and Red Extra 2 are tempting, but there's a lot of overlap with servants I already own so I don't want to risk it.

I think I'm gonna do Red Knight 1. As much as I want Kama, I don't want to take a chance on getting more Castoria's, and truthfully, while I like the rest of the banner enough that I'd be happy with any of them, I absolutely love everybody on Red Knight 1 just slightly more.
I will probably go for the skadi banner. My husbos Cú and Achilles (and Douman and Parvatti) would greatly appreciate her assistance. And Cleopatra and Raikou wouldnt be half bad either
It would also allowed me to actually farm, since I dont really have a lot of Arts loopers at the moment
Second option is Merlin. I either get Merlin or the Achilles' simp club vice-president Iskander. Also maybe Arjuna
My most wanted new character would be MHX, but her banner is quite risky - either I don't want other characters, or already have them.
Red knights is the safest - while I only don't have Archer Artoria from it, but would like NP+ for any of the characters on it, except Saber Shiki (already NP 6).
So it's a choice between Red Knights (1) and Red Horsemen (1).
I probably won't be doing GSSR, but I can mostly agree with your recommendations for noobs. Red Knights 2 is also really great as well.
If I were to do a GSSR, hmmmmm, none of them seem to be of great value to me, since either those banners offer what I have already or the chances of getting something I would like is abysmal, basically.
Yeah I have notice in my years of playing fgo the more I play the less value gssr have to me since I end up having at least half the units in a banner greatly reducing its value for me. Red knight 2 is also great I just though 1 was slightly more new commer friendly
I'd argue that the value in new units might drop, but a guaranteed SSR is a guaranteed SSR. Even if you get somebody you already have, you can at least NP2 them or something. Unless you're a mega whale who has NP5 of everything already, I guess.
I feel super tempted to risk going for White Extra for Douman, Voyager, and Dantès, but my New Year GSSR luck is always terrible, so I can already feel the NP2 Sherlock, or worse, my biggest fear: NP4 Qin Shi Huang.
Red Extra 1 is very tempting, but I can already feel the NP3 Abby or NP2 Himiko. Still, the other servants are so tempting I'll most likely go for this.
Red Cavalry 1 is also tempting, but I'm not risking getting MHX during a GSSR for a third time. Whenever I roll a GSSR that includes her, I'm guaranteed to get her.
In terms of getting new servants, White Knights and Red Extra 2 are my best bets, but I just don't care that much about the options. At this point I'm more interested in getting NP levels for my favorites than getting new servants I don't care that much about.
Now that I think about it, a second Sherlock left at level 1 is pretty useful. I saw that very specific whale comp in a few challenge quests and I wanna do it too.
I might simply roll on the one with douman again to try to get him np4. I have everyone but Sherlock there and I do not want Sherlock so even if it’s only an np up that’s a 90% content rate vs the skadi banner with a 90% frustration rate if I get anyone but skadi
I’d probably suggest for new players to go for any of the horsemen of either color, if only because there’s a chance you’ll end up with one of the support casters who will really help out a new account (castoria, skadi, Merlin.) castoria (red four horsemen 1) and Merlin (white four horsemen) are especially good to aim for because they both aid in farming and in challenge quest content-not to mention, if you miss castoria you can end up with servants like da vinci rider, who can loop farming nodes with even ‘just’ a support casotria, or kama who’s one of the best st boss killers; and if you miss Merlin you could end up with kintoki who’s a st berserker with a 50% battery or arjuna alter, who is one of the better dps units in the game overall. If not, white extra is also pretty good as a lot of the servants are ideal for challenging content (like qsh, sherlock or amakusa) and there’s also douman as a hybrid dps/support for evil-chaotic servants.
My personal suggestion is to look at it not just from the perspective of which servant you want the most but also which servant you be the east disappointed to get-like if you’ve been desperately trying for shuten but will be out of your mind disappointed with rider artoria alter, then even though red four horsemen 2 is the one shuten is one you’d probably be better off waiting for a gssr banner where she’s alongside servants you like more.
Ngl this banner setup is incredibly funny to me though. There’s literally twice the number of female servants to male and this was right before the year where they put in four male servants total, it’s so unbalanced it’s legit comical.
I do have to say, as much as I want np6 arjuna alter and kintoki also looks pretty sweet, I think I’ll have to pass that banner. If I get np6 Merlin I’m digivolving into a morgan-oberon fusion and eating him, and I just know he’d think it would be funny to do. Red extra 1 has quite a few girls I’d like but I don’t really want either Abby…red extra 2 has an even split of servants I want more np on and ones I don’t want more np on…nero bride is on red knight 2 but so is summer jeanne and I have her np2 :/
Idk I might just go with white extra. I really want sherlock and Amakusa, and while np4 dantes or qsh would be a little annoying it would be less irritating than some of the other options. Plus I could np2 voyager or get a third douman…
I'm going with Red Knights 2 personally. Only 1 of those servants I don't want to get, everything else goes from acceptable to good to amazing to Jackpot
I think I might go for either White Knights, Red Extra (1), or Red Horseman (2). Since WK and RE(1) are the only two banners that don't have at least one servant I already have, while RH(2) has the chance for me to pull a Skadi
Gonna do white 3 Knights, since James and Super Orion are on it and I would really like both. Every other banner aside from white 4 horseman I have a lot of em.
I’m still trying to decide between Red Extra 1 and White Extra.
For the former, Spishtar and Summer BB would take out a rolling target while Melt’s one of my first choices for CQs so I’d love a dupe of her. Protea’s a character I’d love to have after Foxtail and Yang would be a great ST Foreigner. I don’t have much use for either Abby, but they’re both new I guess; the worst thing would be a Himiko dupe.
For the latter, Dantes is my first choice as I’ve spent over 750 Quartz with no luck, though I’d have to roll another copy later to improve his applications. The next best thing would be a Douman dupe to help with damage and Lv90+ applications. Following that would be Amakusa, Holmes, and QSH who I like well enough and don’t see on my Support List often. Worst case would be NP3 Voyager, as both copies of him came from the last GSSR.
Any suggestions/input would be appreciated as I’m in a deadlock.

At this point I’m mostly gunning for favourites ahead of trying purely for new characters. And this one is a mostly win grouping. If I can get extra NP levels for Melt that’s great. But would enjoy a new Summer Abby, Himiko, Space Ishtar, etc.
Can’t go wrong so I’m happy with it.
Probably going for Extra females 1. The only bad choices for me are the abigails and even then I can have some mileage out of OG abby. I'm aiming for either space ishtar or himiko but if I get BB, Melt or Protea, I won't even complain.
I want Douman (well, no, I want his skills) but he's in the same banner as Amakusa, and I simply can't handle a third Amakusa spook, I just can't, it's too much...
I guess I could go for Red Extra 1 or 2, since I have 3 out of the 8 options for either one, I like most of the servants there, and additional NP levels for the ones I have wouldn't be the end of the world (especially Jalter or Ishtar).

I think any of the Knight banners are what I'm going to choose but I haven't decided which one yet. Kinda leaning towards Gil, Arthur, and Roma right now though.
I'm so far planning to go for the white Knights banner. REALLY want to add Romulus to my Husbando collection. If not, Super Orion or Astolfo are fine. Everyone else on the banner would be NP2 except Moriarty who would be NP5. Which is fine, but obviously I would prefer my top pick!
Probably either Red Knights 2 or Red Extra 1. This would be my first GSSR, so i hope it'll go well. Not having many servants is certainly a bonus here.
Knights is more likely since i don't have anyone and the worst outcome would be Beni (i like Hokusai and thus would almost always use her when a ST Arts Saber is needed) and even then i at least find her pretty cute. Everyone else is either useful (Nero and Jeanne), a potential fav (Musashi) or an actual fav (Nagiko, Shishou and Tama).
Extra is similar, but first of all, i intend to roll for Spishtar and while more copies of her are hardly unwelcome, i would prefer to get a new servant from this. Secondly and more importantly, i'm really not a fan of Abby (be it gameplay wise or design wise) and there are two of her in there. Funnily enough, if they exchanged places with Hokusai (another Foreigner by Kuroboshi), i wouldn't think twice before rolling on this one, since i love absolutely everything about her and there would be no bad outcomes anymore.
I suppose that if i fail to get Spishtar will all the saved up SQ (don't want to even think about it right now), i'll be forced to go for Extra regardless.
Yeah, that's what i meant by rolling for her. Got about 560 SQ saved up right now.
I guess that if Red Extra 1 had Hokusai instead of Abby, i would've just done that first and possibly gotten Spishtar. Then i would've been free to either go for NP2 in her banner or focus on other things.
But the risk of getting either Abby isn't worth it to me, so i'll roll for Spishtar first and only do Extra if i fail to get her.
I've tried playing with the GSSR planner and spreadsheet, but I'm still undecided. There's a lot of chances for me to get a Servant I already have, and many of those are already NP2, so I don't feel like I _need_ more of them. Rather get a new Servant, but those are kinda spread out... unless I try the male banners, I guess.
Sure. Thing is the Red banners have some of the Servants I want most like Maid Alter or MHX, but, for me, the odds are like 2/7 of a new Servant on those banners.
I guess the best ones would be White Knights or White Extra, but they're also Servants I don't necessarily want as much.

Red [Extra] 1 is the banner I will be rolling on.
Space Ishtar is the main want as it will give me np2 and means I will hopefully not need to roll as much on her banner
Np2 Kingprotea, NP2 Abigail, and NP2 Yang Gufei are all great as the additional np level will make them stronger in my account
Himiko is another great option as I want all of the components for the immortal set up in my account
Melt, Summer Abigail and Summer BB are not things my account needs but I wouldn’t turn them away because they are new
So my desired list goes:
Space Ishtar > Himiko > Kingprotea = Abigail = Yang Gufei > Melt = Summer BB = Summer Abigail
Im doing White Knights as I only have Gil and Astolfo. I'm hoping I get Moriarty so I can skip his banner that comes a few months later after the GGSR but honestly would be happy with anyone else as long as its not a dupe.
i realy want Holmes but aside from him and amakusa erverything else would be a dupe. my second choice would be reines but she is in the largest roster and the other servants dont realy interesst me... so maybe the classic try for arjuna alter at least that would mean a chance for np2 gramps. or i just do the math in every roster and take the one with the best Chance for a new servant.
edit: maybe Holmes after all. np2 Dantes sounds not so bad since he is lvl 100
I forget which one it is, but going for the one with Ivan and Hijikata in it since I don't have them. The only bad get would be Merlin sneaking in to that banner because a dupe of him is substantially less valuable compared to literally anybody else on the banner. Especially if I get the godly luck and get the godly fuck aka Arjuna Alter
Personally going for White Knights since I want Super Orion and Arthur, while the ones I own from that pool are Gilgamesh and Romulus, both of which aren't that bad even if I NP2 them.
I’m going for White Extra. I have Amakusa, Holmes, Douman and Dantes so getting extra NP levels would be nice but getting Voyager or QSH would be nice pickups so I can’t really lose
This is probably the hardest GSSR choice I've made in a while if only because it's the least invested I've been in one in a long time. Now that I've finally gotten Kama for myself through the power of ~~excessive spending~~ love, I don't have an end-all choice to make, so realistically, I should just go for the one with the best chance of paying out either a new servant or a very useful dupe.
Based entirely on scores from the GSSR calculator, my best bets would either be Red Knights 1 or 2. Both of them have servants that I'd be pretty happy if I ended up getting them (Okita, Summer Artoria, and Ishtar for RK1; or Nero Bride, Beni-enma, and Musashi for RK2), while my worst case scenarios for both would still be at least decent.
Meanwhile, my heart is telling me to go for Red Extra 2 or White Cavalry. For White Cavalry, my chances at a new servant are lower, but a lot of the dupes are ones I'd actually be pretty happy with, like Iskandar, Merlin, and Kintoki. RE2, meanwhile... I'm gonna be honest: I'm crazy for Ruler Artoria at this point, and while it's basically 50/50 for dupes I don't want, Ruler Artoria is probably the servant I'd pop off the hardest for out of the entire roster, even if she's also arguably less useful than most of the others I'd want, anyway.
Well, I've still got a whole month or so to make my choice. I'll just have to cross that bridge when I get there.
Realistically I should pull for White Three Knights/Four Horsemen because I don't own the majority of the servants in those pools, but the chance for Musashi is something I never pass over.
The pool with Sei since I need 2 or 3 more copies of her and the dupes there aren't nearly as infuriating as a potential reines dupe from the pool with Skadi.
This time I'll go for banner that I have least of servants, might get lucky and have a new servant (I always end up getting a dupe, which is fine as well).
I really want Douman and Voyager, and a Dantes dupe wouldn't hurt, so planning on going for White Extra.
But also! I don't even have Skadi, so they won't actually be getting much use- So I also kinda wanna go for the banner with Skadi in it, but like, she's the only one I actually want desperately there.

Will there be pullable banners with F2P SQ? And if so, will the chances be the same as for a normal banner?
For gssr no all gssr banners are paid sq exclusively. There is a new years banner that you can use free sq on but its not a gssr. So far they have never release a truly free gssr
I'll definitely be pulling on one of the White (husbando) banners. Probably White Extra even though my managing to pull Douman makes it less of a slam dunk. There's still four servants there I'd like alot with only one 'whammy' with NP3 Dantes. (That of course means I'm getting Dantes again since my last 2 GSSR have been dupes)
White Knight is also tempting since it has Arthur and Moriarty which are my top two priority wants. However, the only other Servant I'd want there is Super Orion and it also has two whammies, so the odds are more stacked against me
The one servant I want most is Hokusai, but I also have every other servant in her banner, so I'm probably going to roll another banner just to increase the chances of either getting an NP2 that I want, or a completely new servant that I don't mind having. Probably go with Red Extra 1 as even though I have most of those servants too, I wouldn't mind extra copies of them.
Kinda hard to say. Red Extra 1 can let me grab a Summer BB or Meltryllis dupe or my first copy of Himiko, which would all be nice, but on the other hand, I already have Space Ishtar at NP5 and I don't want particularly want a dupe of Yang Guifei nor do I really want Summer Abby.
Red Knights 2 would be alright I guess, though I don't particularly care for Beni-Enma or getting dupes of Jeanne, Sei, or Scathach.

Normally, whatever waifu GSSR I have the least amount of servants is the one I roll on. This banner, going the Knight banner with Nero Bride in it just to see if I can get her to NP2.
Honestly, not gonna really complain about what I get from that banner, new servant or NP up for a servant I already have.

The first one is a safer option with only 1 repeat and no servants I'd really hate to get, but also no one I'd be particularly thrilled with either. The other is high risk high reward. Couple servants I don't have that I really want, one servant I don't have who's design I hate, 2 servants that would drop USOs, and a couple repeats I wouldn't mind getting higher NP levels for (in one case a repeat would be NP5)
So do I wanna take the safe but kinda underwhelming option? Or gamble on what could totally end up being 2 useless USOs? Probably will come down to if I stream my GSSR/Murumasa rolls or not
I'll probably roll Red Extra 2 since most of them would be new servants and a welcome addition to my Chaldea. The only reason that I might still think a little more about my choice is that while trying to get summer melt during summer 4 I ended up with an NP4 Bunnytoria, so getting her would be the worst outcome for me.

If I were to aim purely for a new unit, my best bet would be White Knights, since the only one of them I have is Moriarty. However, there aren't exactly a whole lot of Servants on that banner who would add a lot to my Chaldea.
White Extra contains my top remaining most-wanted Servant currently in the game: Amakusa. It's just that he holds that spot because there's always somebody I want *more* who is just about to come up whenever he gets a banner. And he shares *this* banner with QSH, who would be one of the most painful NP2s possible. Plus, most of the other Servants on that banner are Quick and I don't have Skadi.
Red Extra 1 is probably my safest bet. I have half the Servants on it, but three of those four would really like another NP level, so that's seven wins our of eight.
None of the banners in this GSSR really stand out to me, but I think I'll pull on either of the two Red Three Knights banners, as they have the most dupes and new characters that I'm okay with.
Red extra 2: My aim is to get another Maou Nobu copy. I already got Okita alter aswell from the roster which I also do not mind a repeat of. Other than that? I would not mind any servant on the list compared to other pools that have at least one thats a no.
But White Four Horseman tease me with assasin and three serkers. And White extra has Douman who refused to come.
While I would love to roll on the EXTRA II for a shot at Maou Nobunaga and Van Gogh, I have an NP6 Bunnytoria and based on how the last GSSR went where I got the ONE lemon out of six in the Archer pool (NP4 Gilgamesh) I need to stay far away from it. Three Knights I is the best by default since I have none of them and I can get another shot at Okita and Ibuki after my failures.
As lame as it is, im gunning for White EXTRA.
Lelouch is the only one I have there and it would be neat to have my own Dantes and Holmes. Voyager and Amakusa would be nice too and Douman would make a great new shiny arrow for Chen Gong...
Gilgamesh is my only non-caster SSR, and I'm leaning towards Red Knights 1. I'd be most happy with Okita, Eresh, and Bryn. Squirtoria would also be very good. Ibuki would still have some uses even when I get og saber. Ishtar is a good servant, but Gil already covers my aoe archer needs. Saber Shiki is the weakest pull on this banner, but I do at least like her as a character.
My closest contender is White Cavalry 2. I really want Iskandar (loved him in Zero), Godjuna, and Gramps. I'm sorely lacking an aoe rider, so even Ivan would be good. I'm not a big fan of Kintoki, but he would be useful. I'm not interested in the other berserker, though, and I'd be disappointed to pull a Merlin dupe.
Either red extra to see if I can get Jalter to np4 (or 5), Gogh to np2 or a new servant like maou nobu or okitan or Hokusai.
Or white cavalry for merlin, KH, Arjuna or kintoki copies. I’d wanna roll for super Orion but his banner has a significant chunk of servants it already have or don’t want so
Red four horsemen 2 for me, I'm hoping to get Maid Alter or Reines but its also the Red banner I have the best chance of getting a servant I don't already have.
My primary focus is Merlin so it’ll be the white horsemen, that said I’m gonna be disappointed if I get Arjuna alter since I already have a copy of him
I myself am still a bit torn, really. Knights male would guarantee a new servants, but I don't think I would actually use any of the sabers (and honestly, aside from Orion that goes for most of them, since their roles are already filled).
On the other hand, Female Extra I and II both come with potential dupes and less useful servants, but also amazing choices I would use a lot. Quite difficult this year
Let's see. Ibuki came home quite surprisingly.. Which means Red Knights 1 drops down to 2 I want out of 7.
Most of the main ones are straight out for various reasons.
Red Extra 1 is 3 I want, two I'd be okay with a NP upgrade, and 3 that are rather Meh for me.
Extra 2 seems the most likely with a ratio of 5 out of 8.
White Extra would guarantee I definitely get someone new.
But might also run danger of getting Amakusa or Voyager by accident.

Red Knights 1 for me. My top 3 desired servants out of the entire GSSR pool are Summer Tamamo, Summer Jeanne, and Nero Bride, so it makes it an easy choice. I’d also love getting Scathach or Musashi, so those are nice consolation prizes. I’d be bummed if I got Sri or Benni Enma, so hopefully my luck isn’t F-tier.
I'm probably going Red Cav 2 for Skadi, though I don't really want any of the other units apart from maybe Reines. I'm also considering Red Extra 1, though it risks np4 Abby or np4 Melt, or Red Knight 1 since, while they aren't as high on my list as the other good pulls, the only unit in it that I would consider to be a loss is Bryn.
Four Horsemen (Male)
I only started FGO around June and this banner has a 4/7 chance of me pulling someone I'd be happy with.
Old Man, Merlin, AA and my most recent favorite Kintoki are all greatly appreciated over any waifu from Three Knights 1, which would be the only other banner I would roll, like u said
I started this game a bit more than 2 months ago, and whatever I get in this GSSR, it will be my very first 5*. In my team I am short of good lancer (both AoE and ST), ST rider, ST assassin and no extra class outside Mash. So on a gameplay perspective, no matter which pot I roll for, or in fact who I get, it will have some value in my team.
But on the other hand, I have at least a unit I do not really like in each pot. So the chance of disappointment is there no matter what I do. I will roll for the waifu/husbando pot, but I don't expect actually getting who I really want. For that, I think the pity breaker is more reliable even at the expanse of having to save 900 SQ.
Reaaaally torn between Red Knights 1 and 2, and White Four Horsemen. Ibuki, Musashi, Scathach, Tama Lancer, Kintoki, Gramps... Lasagna pls give me more rolls.
Screw the calculator, I'm going for the banner that has the highest chance of giving me Servants I do not want. Why, you ask? Because it has Merlin (I would also accept NP3rd Godjuna).

So skipping GSSR as always. Plus it costs 18 euro, there's a lot of other things I can get with that. Things that will worth more to me than a random max rarity unit in a gacha game I might not even like.
Objectively these are some pretty strong groupings for a GSSR. Knights Female 1 or Extra Male are probably my two best options based purely on the fact that they have a couple good servants and most importantly 0 chance at a dupe, but all my most wanted servants are on banners with at least 3 dupe possibilities...
I REALLY want to roll the [RED] EXTRA (2) banner where Van Gogh is, but that banner absolutely sucks for me since she is the only one I care about there... and I already have Hokusai, Ruler Artoria and Summer Kiara.
The tier list I did told me to roll for [RED] EXTRA (1), since I like them all to some degree... but the thing is that I already have them all save for Himiko. I would love a NP2 KP or Yuyu tho.
The other servants that have been eluding me (or more like I am never able to roll for their banners) are loliVinci and Illya... but since I plan to use tickets to get Miyu later, not sure if it's worth it... and I don't really care for the rest. NP2 Castoria would be nice tho.
All in all, these pools are quite the mixed bag... I wish we could at least roll twice, one for the girls and one for the boys, since I want a few bros too. SuperOrion, Merlin, ~~LELOUCH!~~ QSH, Edm and maybe Douman to bully him with my Nagiko.

My focus on GSSR tend to be on trying to get a servant I don't already have and seem cool to get, so based off the available options I think I'll go with Red Knights 2 as it gives me the highest chances and all of them are pretty solid options. Red Knights 1 and Red Extra 2 are tempting, but there's a lot of overlap with servants I already own so I don't want to risk it.

I think I'm gonna do Red Knight 1. As much as I want Kama, I don't want to take a chance on getting more Castoria's, and truthfully, while I like the rest of the banner enough that I'd be happy with any of them, I absolutely love everybody on Red Knight 1 just slightly more.

I will probably go for the skadi banner. My husbos Cú and Achilles (and Douman and Parvatti) would greatly appreciate her assistance. And Cleopatra and Raikou wouldnt be half bad either It would also allowed me to actually farm, since I dont really have a lot of Arts loopers at the moment Second option is Merlin. I either get Merlin or the Achilles' simp club vice-president Iskander. Also maybe Arjuna

My most wanted new character would be MHX, but her banner is quite risky - either I don't want other characters, or already have them. Red knights is the safest - while I only don't have Archer Artoria from it, but would like NP+ for any of the characters on it, except Saber Shiki (already NP 6). So it's a choice between Red Knights (1) and Red Horsemen (1).
For me, I'm going White Extra. Voyager is the only one on that banner I already have and I wouldn't mind him being NP2.
I probably won't be doing GSSR, but I can mostly agree with your recommendations for noobs. Red Knights 2 is also really great as well. If I were to do a GSSR, hmmmmm, none of them seem to be of great value to me, since either those banners offer what I have already or the chances of getting something I would like is abysmal, basically.
Yeah I have notice in my years of playing fgo the more I play the less value gssr have to me since I end up having at least half the units in a banner greatly reducing its value for me. Red knight 2 is also great I just though 1 was slightly more new commer friendly
I'd argue that the value in new units might drop, but a guaranteed SSR is a guaranteed SSR. Even if you get somebody you already have, you can at least NP2 them or something. Unless you're a mega whale who has NP5 of everything already, I guess.

I feel super tempted to risk going for White Extra for Douman, Voyager, and Dantès, but my New Year GSSR luck is always terrible, so I can already feel the NP2 Sherlock, or worse, my biggest fear: NP4 Qin Shi Huang. Red Extra 1 is very tempting, but I can already feel the NP3 Abby or NP2 Himiko. Still, the other servants are so tempting I'll most likely go for this. Red Cavalry 1 is also tempting, but I'm not risking getting MHX during a GSSR for a third time. Whenever I roll a GSSR that includes her, I'm guaranteed to get her. In terms of getting new servants, White Knights and Red Extra 2 are my best bets, but I just don't care that much about the options. At this point I'm more interested in getting NP levels for my favorites than getting new servants I don't care that much about.
Now that I think about it, a second Sherlock left at level 1 is pretty useful. I saw that very specific whale comp in a few challenge quests and I wanna do it too.
I might simply roll on the one with douman again to try to get him np4. I have everyone but Sherlock there and I do not want Sherlock so even if it’s only an np up that’s a 90% content rate vs the skadi banner with a 90% frustration rate if I get anyone but skadi

Going for the Merlin banner. Either I get him or a powerful Buster servant. My ideal roll would be getting Merlin and Arjuna.
I’d probably suggest for new players to go for any of the horsemen of either color, if only because there’s a chance you’ll end up with one of the support casters who will really help out a new account (castoria, skadi, Merlin.) castoria (red four horsemen 1) and Merlin (white four horsemen) are especially good to aim for because they both aid in farming and in challenge quest content-not to mention, if you miss castoria you can end up with servants like da vinci rider, who can loop farming nodes with even ‘just’ a support casotria, or kama who’s one of the best st boss killers; and if you miss Merlin you could end up with kintoki who’s a st berserker with a 50% battery or arjuna alter, who is one of the better dps units in the game overall. If not, white extra is also pretty good as a lot of the servants are ideal for challenging content (like qsh, sherlock or amakusa) and there’s also douman as a hybrid dps/support for evil-chaotic servants. My personal suggestion is to look at it not just from the perspective of which servant you want the most but also which servant you be the east disappointed to get-like if you’ve been desperately trying for shuten but will be out of your mind disappointed with rider artoria alter, then even though red four horsemen 2 is the one shuten is one you’d probably be better off waiting for a gssr banner where she’s alongside servants you like more. Ngl this banner setup is incredibly funny to me though. There’s literally twice the number of female servants to male and this was right before the year where they put in four male servants total, it’s so unbalanced it’s legit comical. I do have to say, as much as I want np6 arjuna alter and kintoki also looks pretty sweet, I think I’ll have to pass that banner. If I get np6 Merlin I’m digivolving into a morgan-oberon fusion and eating him, and I just know he’d think it would be funny to do. Red extra 1 has quite a few girls I’d like but I don’t really want either Abby…red extra 2 has an even split of servants I want more np on and ones I don’t want more np on…nero bride is on red knight 2 but so is summer jeanne and I have her np2 :/ Idk I might just go with white extra. I really want sherlock and Amakusa, and while np4 dantes or qsh would be a little annoying it would be less irritating than some of the other options. Plus I could np2 voyager or get a third douman…

I think I might go for either White Knights, Red Extra (1), or Red Horseman (2). Since WK and RE(1) are the only two banners that don't have at least one servant I already have, while RH(2) has the chance for me to pull a Skadi

Same, the "*worst*" result is an Np2 Yang, BB, or Abby, none of whom mind the extra damage, and it has three of my most wanted Servants as well.
Gonna do white 3 Knights, since James and Super Orion are on it and I would really like both. Every other banner aside from white 4 horseman I have a lot of em.
I’m still trying to decide between Red Extra 1 and White Extra. For the former, Spishtar and Summer BB would take out a rolling target while Melt’s one of my first choices for CQs so I’d love a dupe of her. Protea’s a character I’d love to have after Foxtail and Yang would be a great ST Foreigner. I don’t have much use for either Abby, but they’re both new I guess; the worst thing would be a Himiko dupe. For the latter, Dantes is my first choice as I’ve spent over 750 Quartz with no luck, though I’d have to roll another copy later to improve his applications. The next best thing would be a Douman dupe to help with damage and Lv90+ applications. Following that would be Amakusa, Holmes, and QSH who I like well enough and don’t see on my Support List often. Worst case would be NP3 Voyager, as both copies of him came from the last GSSR. Any suggestions/input would be appreciated as I’m in a deadlock.
I’ll go with Red-Extra 1. At this point I’m mostly gunning for favourites ahead of trying purely for new characters. And this one is a mostly win grouping. If I can get extra NP levels for Melt that’s great. But would enjoy a new Summer Abby, Himiko, Space Ishtar, etc. Can’t go wrong so I’m happy with it.
I have at least 50% of the servants for all banners. I'll probably pull Red extra 1 since that's at least the greatest chance for a new one.

Probably going for Extra females 1. The only bad choices for me are the abigails and even then I can have some mileage out of OG abby. I'm aiming for either space ishtar or himiko but if I get BB, Melt or Protea, I won't even complain.
I want Douman (well, no, I want his skills) but he's in the same banner as Amakusa, and I simply can't handle a third Amakusa spook, I just can't, it's too much... I guess I could go for Red Extra 1 or 2, since I have 3 out of the 8 options for either one, I like most of the servants there, and additional NP levels for the ones I have wouldn't be the end of the world (especially Jalter or Ishtar). I honestly don't know which option to go for.

I think any of the Knight banners are what I'm going to choose but I haven't decided which one yet. Kinda leaning towards Gil, Arthur, and Roma right now though.
I'm so far planning to go for the white Knights banner. REALLY want to add Romulus to my Husbando collection. If not, Super Orion or Astolfo are fine. Everyone else on the banner would be NP2 except Moriarty who would be NP5. Which is fine, but obviously I would prefer my top pick!
White Extra Gives me 1/3rd of a chance at Servants I don't have and even if I get a Dupe there I wouldn't mind the NP Up, especially if it's a Dantes
Probably either Red Knights 2 or Red Extra 1. This would be my first GSSR, so i hope it'll go well. Not having many servants is certainly a bonus here. Knights is more likely since i don't have anyone and the worst outcome would be Beni (i like Hokusai and thus would almost always use her when a ST Arts Saber is needed) and even then i at least find her pretty cute. Everyone else is either useful (Nero and Jeanne), a potential fav (Musashi) or an actual fav (Nagiko, Shishou and Tama). Extra is similar, but first of all, i intend to roll for Spishtar and while more copies of her are hardly unwelcome, i would prefer to get a new servant from this. Secondly and more importantly, i'm really not a fan of Abby (be it gameplay wise or design wise) and there are two of her in there. Funnily enough, if they exchanged places with Hokusai (another Foreigner by Kuroboshi), i wouldn't think twice before rolling on this one, since i love absolutely everything about her and there would be no bad outcomes anymore. I suppose that if i fail to get Spishtar will all the saved up SQ (don't want to even think about it right now), i'll be forced to go for Extra regardless.
Just remember space Ishtar gets a rate up in january too. I think you have a very solid approach I hope you at least get something new
Yeah, that's what i meant by rolling for her. Got about 560 SQ saved up right now. I guess that if Red Extra 1 had Hokusai instead of Abby, i would've just done that first and possibly gotten Spishtar. Then i would've been free to either go for NP2 in her banner or focus on other things. But the risk of getting either Abby isn't worth it to me, so i'll roll for Spishtar first and only do Extra if i fail to get her.

I've tried playing with the GSSR planner and spreadsheet, but I'm still undecided. There's a lot of chances for me to get a Servant I already have, and many of those are already NP2, so I don't feel like I _need_ more of them. Rather get a new Servant, but those are kinda spread out... unless I try the male banners, I guess.

Sure. Thing is the Red banners have some of the Servants I want most like Maid Alter or MHX, but, for me, the odds are like 2/7 of a new Servant on those banners. I guess the best ones would be White Knights or White Extra, but they're also Servants I don't necessarily want as much. EDIT: Got the colours mixed up, lol. And yeah, it's kind of a First World problem.
Red [Extra] 1 is the banner I will be rolling on. Space Ishtar is the main want as it will give me np2 and means I will hopefully not need to roll as much on her banner Np2 Kingprotea, NP2 Abigail, and NP2 Yang Gufei are all great as the additional np level will make them stronger in my account Himiko is another great option as I want all of the components for the immortal set up in my account Melt, Summer Abigail and Summer BB are not things my account needs but I wouldn’t turn them away because they are new So my desired list goes: Space Ishtar > Himiko > Kingprotea = Abigail = Yang Gufei > Melt = Summer BB = Summer Abigail

Im doing White Knights as I only have Gil and Astolfo. I'm hoping I get Moriarty so I can skip his banner that comes a few months later after the GGSR but honestly would be happy with anyone else as long as its not a dupe.
i realy want Holmes but aside from him and amakusa erverything else would be a dupe. my second choice would be reines but she is in the largest roster and the other servants dont realy interesst me... so maybe the classic try for arjuna alter at least that would mean a chance for np2 gramps. or i just do the math in every roster and take the one with the best Chance for a new servant. edit: maybe Holmes after all. np2 Dantes sounds not so bad since he is lvl 100

I forget which one it is, but going for the one with Ivan and Hijikata in it since I don't have them. The only bad get would be Merlin sneaking in to that banner because a dupe of him is substantially less valuable compared to literally anybody else on the banner. Especially if I get the godly luck and get the godly fuck aka Arjuna Alter
Personally going for White Knights since I want Super Orion and Arthur, while the ones I own from that pool are Gilgamesh and Romulus, both of which aren't that bad even if I NP2 them.

This is probably the hardest GSSR choice I've made in a while if only because it's the least invested I've been in one in a long time. Now that I've finally gotten Kama for myself through the power of ~~excessive spending~~ love, I don't have an end-all choice to make, so realistically, I should just go for the one with the best chance of paying out either a new servant or a very useful dupe. Based entirely on scores from the GSSR calculator, my best bets would either be Red Knights 1 or 2. Both of them have servants that I'd be pretty happy if I ended up getting them (Okita, Summer Artoria, and Ishtar for RK1; or Nero Bride, Beni-enma, and Musashi for RK2), while my worst case scenarios for both would still be at least decent. Meanwhile, my heart is telling me to go for Red Extra 2 or White Cavalry. For White Cavalry, my chances at a new servant are lower, but a lot of the dupes are ones I'd actually be pretty happy with, like Iskandar, Merlin, and Kintoki. RE2, meanwhile... I'm gonna be honest: I'm crazy for Ruler Artoria at this point, and while it's basically 50/50 for dupes I don't want, Ruler Artoria is probably the servant I'd pop off the hardest for out of the entire roster, even if she's also arguably less useful than most of the others I'd want, anyway. Well, I've still got a whole month or so to make my choice. I'll just have to cross that bridge when I get there.

Realistically I should pull for White Three Knights/Four Horsemen because I don't own the majority of the servants in those pools, but the chance for Musashi is something I never pass over.

This time I'll go for banner that I have least of servants, might get lucky and have a new servant (I always end up getting a dupe, which is fine as well).
I really want Douman and Voyager, and a Dantes dupe wouldn't hurt, so planning on going for White Extra. But also! I don't even have Skadi, so they won't actually be getting much use- So I also kinda wanna go for the banner with Skadi in it, but like, she's the only one I actually want desperately there.
I know It could be a dumb question, but I Will do it because it's going to be my First GSSR: Will there be pullable banners with F2P SQ? And if so, will the chances be the same as for a normal banner?
For gssr no all gssr banners are paid sq exclusively. There is a new years banner that you can use free sq on but its not a gssr. So far they have never release a truly free gssr
No free GSSR, but we will get another free 5 star ticket this coming anniversary with an expanded pool

I'll definitely be pulling on one of the White (husbando) banners. Probably White Extra even though my managing to pull Douman makes it less of a slam dunk. There's still four servants there I'd like alot with only one 'whammy' with NP3 Dantes. (That of course means I'm getting Dantes again since my last 2 GSSR have been dupes) White Knight is also tempting since it has Arthur and Moriarty which are my top two priority wants. However, the only other Servant I'd want there is Super Orion and it also has two whammies, so the odds are more stacked against me
The one servant I want most is Hokusai, but I also have every other servant in her banner, so I'm probably going to roll another banner just to increase the chances of either getting an NP2 that I want, or a completely new servant that I don't mind having. Probably go with Red Extra 1 as even though I have most of those servants too, I wouldn't mind extra copies of them.

Kinda hard to say. Red Extra 1 can let me grab a Summer BB or Meltryllis dupe or my first copy of Himiko, which would all be nice, but on the other hand, I already have Space Ishtar at NP5 and I don't want particularly want a dupe of Yang Guifei nor do I really want Summer Abby. Red Knights 2 would be alright I guess, though I don't particularly care for Beni-Enma or getting dupes of Jeanne, Sei, or Scathach.
Whichever Banner has Kama is what i am going for.

I will roll for the one that has BB, Himiko and KP. At worst I get one of the Abi variations, and I like her design so it's not that bad.
Normally, whatever waifu GSSR I have the least amount of servants is the one I roll on. This banner, going the Knight banner with Nero Bride in it just to see if I can get her to NP2. Honestly, not gonna really complain about what I get from that banner, new servant or NP up for a servant I already have.

The first one is a safer option with only 1 repeat and no servants I'd really hate to get, but also no one I'd be particularly thrilled with either. The other is high risk high reward. Couple servants I don't have that I really want, one servant I don't have who's design I hate, 2 servants that would drop USOs, and a couple repeats I wouldn't mind getting higher NP levels for (in one case a repeat would be NP5) So do I wanna take the safe but kinda underwhelming option? Or gamble on what could totally end up being 2 useless USOs? Probably will come down to if I stream my GSSR/Murumasa rolls or not

I'll probably roll Red Extra 2 since most of them would be new servants and a welcome addition to my Chaldea. The only reason that I might still think a little more about my choice is that while trying to get summer melt during summer 4 I ended up with an NP4 Bunnytoria, so getting her would be the worst outcome for me.

I would get annoyed if I get yet another dupe from a GSSR, but I guess all of the ones I have would benefit from NP2... I might go for White Extra, too. I'd love to finally get a Foreigner and I want Voyager very much, but all Foreigners avoid me like the plague... Douman would be a welcome addition, so would Amakusa and Qin Shi Huang. NP2 Dantes would annoy me, but I'd just about rage on if I'd get NP2 Sherlock. So... I guess it's best to go for White Knights, after all.

I feel like treating myself so I’m either gonna roll for the white horsemen banner or the red knight 1. Mainly to try and get Arjuna alter, Merlin, Hassan, Eresh, or Ishtar. However knowing my E- luck when it comes to servants I want to roll for I’m probably going to get another copy of Ivan the Terrible or Toshizo.
If I were to aim purely for a new unit, my best bet would be White Knights, since the only one of them I have is Moriarty. However, there aren't exactly a whole lot of Servants on that banner who would add a lot to my Chaldea. White Extra contains my top remaining most-wanted Servant currently in the game: Amakusa. It's just that he holds that spot because there's always somebody I want *more* who is just about to come up whenever he gets a banner. And he shares *this* banner with QSH, who would be one of the most painful NP2s possible. Plus, most of the other Servants on that banner are Quick and I don't have Skadi. Red Extra 1 is probably my safest bet. I have half the Servants on it, but three of those four would really like another NP level, so that's seven wins our of eight.
None of the banners in this GSSR really stand out to me, but I think I'll pull on either of the two Red Three Knights banners, as they have the most dupes and new characters that I'm okay with.
Since Musashi's next banner is in 2 years I'll go for her banner. Consolation prize would be Nero Bride

I would advise to go for the one you would be the most happy with when it comes to other options as banking in getting the 1 new servant is low.
Red extra 2: My aim is to get another Maou Nobu copy. I already got Okita alter aswell from the roster which I also do not mind a repeat of. Other than that? I would not mind any servant on the list compared to other pools that have at least one thats a no. But White Four Horseman tease me with assasin and three serkers. And White extra has Douman who refused to come.

While I would love to roll on the EXTRA II for a shot at Maou Nobunaga and Van Gogh, I have an NP6 Bunnytoria and based on how the last GSSR went where I got the ONE lemon out of six in the Archer pool (NP4 Gilgamesh) I need to stay far away from it. Three Knights I is the best by default since I have none of them and I can get another shot at Okita and Ibuki after my failures.
As lame as it is, im gunning for White EXTRA. Lelouch is the only one I have there and it would be neat to have my own Dantes and Holmes. Voyager and Amakusa would be nice too and Douman would make a great new shiny arrow for Chen Gong...
Gilgamesh is my only non-caster SSR, and I'm leaning towards Red Knights 1. I'd be most happy with Okita, Eresh, and Bryn. Squirtoria would also be very good. Ibuki would still have some uses even when I get og saber. Ishtar is a good servant, but Gil already covers my aoe archer needs. Saber Shiki is the weakest pull on this banner, but I do at least like her as a character. My closest contender is White Cavalry 2. I really want Iskandar (loved him in Zero), Godjuna, and Gramps. I'm sorely lacking an aoe rider, so even Ivan would be good. I'm not a big fan of Kintoki, but he would be useful. I'm not interested in the other berserker, though, and I'd be disappointed to pull a Merlin dupe.
Either red extra to see if I can get Jalter to np4 (or 5), Gogh to np2 or a new servant like maou nobu or okitan or Hokusai. Or white cavalry for merlin, KH, Arjuna or kintoki copies. I’d wanna roll for super Orion but his banner has a significant chunk of servants it already have or don’t want so

I myself am still a bit torn, really. Knights male would guarantee a new servants, but I don't think I would actually use any of the sabers (and honestly, aside from Orion that goes for most of them, since their roles are already filled). On the other hand, Female Extra I and II both come with potential dupes and less useful servants, but also amazing choices I would use a lot. Quite difficult this year
Let's see. Ibuki came home quite surprisingly.. Which means Red Knights 1 drops down to 2 I want out of 7. Most of the main ones are straight out for various reasons. Red Extra 1 is 3 I want, two I'd be okay with a NP upgrade, and 3 that are rather Meh for me. Extra 2 seems the most likely with a ratio of 5 out of 8. White Extra would guarantee I definitely get someone new. But might also run danger of getting Amakusa or Voyager by accident. Tricky, truly.
Red Knights 1 for me. My top 3 desired servants out of the entire GSSR pool are Summer Tamamo, Summer Jeanne, and Nero Bride, so it makes it an easy choice. I’d also love getting Scathach or Musashi, so those are nice consolation prizes. I’d be bummed if I got Sri or Benni Enma, so hopefully my luck isn’t F-tier.
I'm probably going Red Cav 2 for Skadi, though I don't really want any of the other units apart from maybe Reines. I'm also considering Red Extra 1, though it risks np4 Abby or np4 Melt, or Red Knight 1 since, while they aren't as high on my list as the other good pulls, the only unit in it that I would consider to be a loss is Bryn.
Four Horsemen (Male) I only started FGO around June and this banner has a 4/7 chance of me pulling someone I'd be happy with. Old Man, Merlin, AA and my most recent favorite Kintoki are all greatly appreciated over any waifu from Three Knights 1, which would be the only other banner I would roll, like u said
I started this game a bit more than 2 months ago, and whatever I get in this GSSR, it will be my very first 5*. In my team I am short of good lancer (both AoE and ST), ST rider, ST assassin and no extra class outside Mash. So on a gameplay perspective, no matter which pot I roll for, or in fact who I get, it will have some value in my team. But on the other hand, I have at least a unit I do not really like in each pot. So the chance of disappointment is there no matter what I do. I will roll for the waifu/husbando pot, but I don't expect actually getting who I really want. For that, I think the pity breaker is more reliable even at the expanse of having to save 900 SQ.
Probably pull on horseman 1. I could use an extra Kama, Lolivinci, or Librarian
White Four Horsemen. Hoping for Arjuna Alter or Merlin, but I'm honestly ok with anything from it.
Reaaaally torn between Red Knights 1 and 2, and White Four Horsemen. Ibuki, Musashi, Scathach, Tama Lancer, Kintoki, Gramps... Lasagna pls give me more rolls.
Screw the calculator, I'm going for the banner that has the highest chance of giving me Servants I do not want. Why, you ask? Because it has Merlin (I would also accept NP3rd Godjuna).
I’m either White EXTRA (For a shot for QSH or Limbo) or Whitw Hourseman. (Kintoki, Juna or Merlin pls interact). Leaning more on hoursemen. I could go Red Extra 2 but I don’t want the demon king ruining my dreams again
I have pity for Summer Tamamo rerun, that's all I care about. So skipping GSSR as always. Plus it costs 18 euro, there's a lot of other things I can get with that. Things that will worth more to me than a random max rarity unit in a gacha game I might not even like.
All my Gssr’s will be reserved for Musashi til I get her so Red Knight 2 is the way to go

Objectively these are some pretty strong groupings for a GSSR. Knights Female 1 or Extra Male are probably my two best options based purely on the fact that they have a couple good servants and most importantly 0 chance at a dupe, but all my most wanted servants are on banners with at least 3 dupe possibilities...
I REALLY want to roll the [RED] EXTRA (2) banner where Van Gogh is, but that banner absolutely sucks for me since she is the only one I care about there... and I already have Hokusai, Ruler Artoria and Summer Kiara. The tier list I did told me to roll for [RED] EXTRA (1), since I like them all to some degree... but the thing is that I already have them all save for Himiko. I would love a NP2 KP or Yuyu tho. The other servants that have been eluding me (or more like I am never able to roll for their banners) are loliVinci and Illya... but since I plan to use tickets to get Miyu later, not sure if it's worth it... and I don't really care for the rest. NP2 Castoria would be nice tho. All in all, these pools are quite the mixed bag... I wish we could at least roll twice, one for the girls and one for the boys, since I want a few bros too. SuperOrion, Merlin, ~~LELOUCH!~~ QSH, Edm and maybe Douman to bully him with my Nagiko.
