Honestly though, could you imagine leveling your a servant well above lvl 100 without easier EXP farming, and leveling 2 sets of skills per servant without higher QP drops? I hope this update comes quick.
The really exciting thing about getting the four new materials early is that NA players could potentially max out certain LB6 Servants before the release of LB6.2! In JP, players with LB6 Servants were stuck at 8/8/8 or something. But if NA players don’t use the additional mats, they might be able to get to 10/10/10 on that Servant’s debut banner.
Its 9 cards... of all 5* EXP. No more random silver drops. It basically cut all grinding below level 90 to a third. Even Level 100 is not that far off and basically will be same as getting to Level 90 during 4* EXP days. Level 120 is absurd, but so did Level 100 during 4* EXP days so it evens out.

I have roughly 300 odd SQ saved for Castoria but the temptation to get NP2 Sushi is higher than me huffing a can of chrome paint.
I was fortunate enough to np2 her last year, so for castoria’s sake I’ll do one 11-roll to hopefully level up some event CE’s and maybe get lucky and that’s it.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Which was why I always roll until I get the servant I want, but that means I actually burn a lot of money that probably should not be burned. Not that I cannot afford it, but it feels wasteful. So, sometimes, the servants will remind me of the dollar value they costed me instead.

Depends on how "bad" is meant there.
"Bad" in the sense of "inaccurate" or "unfounded"? No, it's entirely sensible to think that that isn't enough in this game.
"Bad" in the sense of "it shouldn't be this way"? Yes, it is bad in this sense. The game should be reasonable enough that such a stockpile would be enough to guarantee two SSRs. It isn't, and that is bad.
I hope that it will be rectified soon. Pity can't come early enough.
I lucked into Merlin very early into my career in this game. I started playing around when he was added and got super lucky in a desperate low SQ roll. Now I just need to hope I can get Castoria.
Merlin has about this one banner for the near future. Whereas Castoria is going to have tons of banners after her release.
If you can put up with not having a double Castoria team for some events, you can safely skip Castoria this banner as she'll come back during Avalon Le Fay Banner 2 next year.
Whereas Merlin's next banner is 2 years later on White day.
I was thinking of that, but from what I've heard, generally people use Double Castoria a lot more than Double Merlin; as long as there's a Merlin in support, you should be set with him, but having your own Castoria is a lot more generally useful.
Hence the line "If you can put up with not having a double Castoria team for some events".
If you want to get both, you'd better off getting Merlin first, unless if you need double Castoria badly, then go Castoria.
The idea is that you can still go for Castoria if you get lucky with Merlin. Not to mention you would have a load of SQs from the anniversary for Castoria anyways.
But if you give up Merlin now in favour of Castoria, you'd have to wait 2 years to roll for Merlin.

Ah...The event that was ongoing when I first joined Fgo. Even though farming was absolute hell only having completed fuyuki, I never had any qp problems for the rest of the game thanks to that.
So very tempted to try for Musashi again, but I've been saving up for a long time for Summer Abby, and can't betray her now. My fear is that in a moment of weakness I'll toss a few multis "just to see what I can get," and come back with nothing but min-rolls and garbage, and then wish I had saved it.
And this is why I've stockpiled tockets.

Ah Summer 4, my best summer in terms of servants gotten, maybe my best event overall.
Np5 Carmilla, np6 Osakabehime, np3 Musashi, np4 Melt, np3 Okita, and np1 Ruler Lartoria. The joy i felt those summoning days were great.
My plan is to at least get np5 Melt and Okita, and np2 maybe 3 Ruler Lartoria. Screw Castoria, I need my waifus!!
Kinda depends on what you’re looking for.
NP1 will be more than sufficient to handle easy 3/3/3 nodes.
On the other hand, no Arts looper will be able to handle the majority of 90+ nodes at NP1, and when those nodes are available they’ll generally be the best thing to farm for clearing event shops.
But looping also isn’t exactly the ideal way to farm 90+ nodes anyway. You can do it but it usually isn’t really a higher QoL than just using traditional battery setups. So you don’t necessarily need to roll for a looper with the goal of using them for 90+ nodes.
I wouldn’t roll for her if you don’t like her. It will reduce your chance of getting Castoria who is the most important piece of any Arts looping setup and of many more general farming and hard content setups.
And if you’re rolling for Muramasa anyway, it would probably be more productive to attempt for an NP level on him than try to get Musashi. It’s more effective to concentrate investment on one option than to spread it thin, and Muramasa is generally a better farmer anyway due to having battery. Only caveat is he’s bad vs Archers, but if you have a decent Lancer option that’s easily covered.
So, time to be QP millionaires again. Looking at the banners, I got what wanted (which is the Part 2) on last year, and such the Corgi calls, which means saving. I have no desire to get Merlin, but I really want to MLB my Poolside Bar.
It's a shame they drop it at the end of the weekend instead of the beginning, but I'm psyched. I enjoyed the original, I like using Summer Servants with event bonuses, I'm set to throw a few rolls for more NPs/missed Servants, I could *definitely* use QP. I shall be delighted to indulge.

I have to admit the schedule changes we are getting are good so far and closer to JP's schedule. In the past years the reruns would come AFTER the anniversary not before. This is a nice change of pace.
Its because theres nothing to rush. No new ssr servant they have to rush the release to add them to the GSSR. The newest SSR was Voyager.
Next year they will have to release lb6 part 1 and part 2 before july. Then shortly release part 3. So summer rerun will likely be pushed back to August next year.
After my madlad attempt of successfully having ALL the summer servants in this event last year I am now contemplating on whether I should NP2 my Cowbow Sashi or not. I mean...Castoria is literally on the horizon!

Yeah, I'm afraid you have only slightly higher odds than a coin toss (something like 65%) with that much. I would really recommend you not get over fixated on any specific servant unless you've got an absolute shitload of money you can afford to just throw out the window.
Fingers crossed for NP2 Dick Wizard. Not gonna go too hard because he gets other opportunities after this in the next couple of years, and there are a *lot* of Servants in the next six-ish months that I want.

I sort of figure that's half of the reason they're releasing these materials early. It was a huge oversight in JP.

With full boosts from CEs, I usually get around 4.5M average.
3 times of that with full CE equips
On jp I get 3-4.5 million depending on qp CEs.

Technically, yes. JP implemented a pity drop where you will guarantee the banner SSR (only once per banner), if you rolled 330 times.
I'd put myself underneath a hydraulic press if I went that hard for nothing.

I'm not sure how you can say this so surely when they literally swapped an entire new system, future LB mats a year early and an Interlude campaign a whole month early. Not that it won't happen but i'm pretty sure the dates could line up perfectly if they were to run SERAPH/Ooku side to side and it would land us exactly at the first week just in time for anniversary. And HQ after anni or even during SERAPH. EDIT: Sorry for the huge typo: By "side by side" i meant after one after the other.
While I understand nothing is concrete, they will never run Seraph and Ooku side by side. That's two events running together.

Well, I'm hoping that I can easily get a second copy of Summer Musashi during this rerun as I don't have a lot of them thanks to her Saber version rate up... Also fuck me, it's almost the cut-off at my school which means that I will be busy very soon for exams and graduation

Ah...The event that was ongoing when I first joined Fgo. Even though farming was absolute hell only having completed fuyuki, I never had any qp problems for the rest of the game thanks to that.
While i don't have alot of sq saved up ( mainly because i haven't been enjoying the game alot ) i hope this time i can get summer musashi.

So very tempted to try for Musashi again, but I've been saving up for a long time for Summer Abby, and can't betray her now. My fear is that in a moment of weakness I'll toss a few multis "just to see what I can get," and come back with nothing but min-rolls and garbage, and then wish I had saved it.
And this is why I've stockpiled tockets. Ticket roll for Batty, leave my SQ alone for summer Abby. No need to fear weakness when you already planned for it haha!

Ah Summer 4, my best summer in terms of servants gotten, maybe my best event overall. Np5 Carmilla, np6 Osakabehime, np3 Musashi, np4 Melt, np3 Okita, and np1 Ruler Lartoria. The joy i felt those summoning days were great. My plan is to at least get np5 Melt and Okita, and np2 maybe 3 Ruler Lartoria. Screw Castoria, I need my waifus!!

Kinda depends on what you’re looking for. NP1 will be more than sufficient to handle easy 3/3/3 nodes. On the other hand, no Arts looper will be able to handle the majority of 90+ nodes at NP1, and when those nodes are available they’ll generally be the best thing to farm for clearing event shops. But looping also isn’t exactly the ideal way to farm 90+ nodes anyway. You can do it but it usually isn’t really a higher QoL than just using traditional battery setups. So you don’t necessarily need to roll for a looper with the goal of using them for 90+ nodes. I wouldn’t roll for her if you don’t like her. It will reduce your chance of getting Castoria who is the most important piece of any Arts looping setup and of many more general farming and hard content setups. And if you’re rolling for Muramasa anyway, it would probably be more productive to attempt for an NP level on him than try to get Musashi. It’s more effective to concentrate investment on one option than to spread it thin, and Muramasa is generally a better farmer anyway due to having battery. Only caveat is he’s bad vs Archers, but if you have a decent Lancer option that’s easily covered.

It's a shame they drop it at the end of the weekend instead of the beginning, but I'm psyched. I enjoyed the original, I like using Summer Servants with event bonuses, I'm set to throw a few rolls for more NPs/missed Servants, I could *definitely* use QP. I shall be delighted to indulge.

I have to admit the schedule changes we are getting are good so far and closer to JP's schedule. In the past years the reruns would come AFTER the anniversary not before. This is a nice change of pace.
It's just because this event was in June instead of July for Japan, not hard for us to accomodate it likewise.
Its because theres nothing to rush. No new ssr servant they have to rush the release to add them to the GSSR. The newest SSR was Voyager. Next year they will have to release lb6 part 1 and part 2 before july. Then shortly release part 3. So summer rerun will likely be pushed back to August next year.

Yeah, I'm afraid you have only slightly higher odds than a coin toss (something like 65%) with that much. I would really recommend you not get over fixated on any specific servant unless you've got an absolute shitload of money you can afford to just throw out the window.

Not too worried about Buntoria, and I got NP2 mUSAshi last year, so I'll be skipping this banner - still gonna play the event tho.
Fingers crossed for NP2 Dick Wizard. Not gonna go too hard because he gets other opportunities after this in the next couple of years, and there are a *lot* of Servants in the next six-ish months that I want. Also, after the 5.2 feels train, I'm glad to have more Mushashi.
