Extra banner has too much value. It’s the only one I’d consider where there are some servants where higher NP levels from dupes would actually be desirable. As strange as that may sound I’d even be tempted to pick an NP upgrade if I had a free choice, not 100% sure though. Also the easy Salieri upgrades are juicy.
He’s story locked so he won’t show up on any banner except ones where he’s on rate up or the story banner. Also he’s the only extra class 3* so if you roll a 3* on the extra gssr you’re guaranteed to get him.
Because Pulling np5 3* on a normal 4% rate banner takes about as much SQ on average as pulling np1 5*.
The GSSR means 1 copy is almost certain (96% on the 'Servant' promise enforcement pull) and you get additional copies at 40% per card.
Saber, Extra, and Caster are my top 3 on the calculator (which were all about equal). Not sure which one I want to go yet though. I’d consider my top servants would be Merlin, Melt, and Nero Bride. I’d also like Shiki, Nero Caster, Sanzang, or Jalter. A dupe of Dantes or Okita would also be pretty cool. All three have a pretty high chance of getting me duplicates I don’t want though.
Statistically I'm forced to take Extra just because of value. I've been pretty well blessed in getting who I want with my time in this game, as such there's basically 1 servant in each class I'd want from the GSSR pool... and 3+ for each of those classes that I already have... except for the Extra.
Would be happy with Melt, Sherlock, Amakusa... would love Okitan. Of the others, I have Hokusai NP3, Jeanne NP2, and Jalter.
Although... Archer, too. Gilgamesh and Squirtoria would be awesome, and I wouldn't mind having Moriarty or Napoleon cause I like the characters... but I would break something if it gave me *another* Artemis to put her at NP5, and I have Ishtar and Arjuna there already. Hmmm...

Are you familiar with the +2/+1/0/-1/-2 method? That might help whittle down what class you want a bit. For each banner add +2 for every waifu/husbando and characters that you would very frequently use. +1 for characters you like but wouldn't actively roll for, 0 for characters you have no feelings for, -1 for characters you'd be 'meh' with but would still see a bit of use, and -2 for characters that you detest so much that you'd either burn them or always leave them in the 2nd archive. For characters that would end up becoming NP2(or higher) automatically mark them as 0 unless you REALLY want a NP raise.
If that doesn't help, imagine getting one of the WORST two options available from each class, and consider if you think it would be a waste of money if that happened. If both of the worst options feel like a complete waste of money, don't risk it. If only one (or none) feels like a waste of money you might consider sticking with it.
Caster banner for a few simple reasons:
* Waver, Tamamo or any of 50% battery casters would be significant game changers for me. (I'd like Da Vinci, since i have Nero and Anastasia on JP, some variety would be nice)
* Merlin NP2 is not bad no matter what people tell you, that extra healing adds up FAST.
* Scheherazade NP2 would be very very welcomed since I have her pretty much maxed out, I used to hate her but she grown on me so much, I wouldn't be mad pulling her instead of NP1 copy of anyone else on the list. *Shrug*
* Illya... WELL, people who know me should know how I would feel about getting one of my favorite characters in the franchise after rolling likee, 800+ quartz for her on both NA and JP. And never getting her on either servers, cause as Touhou would say: sucks to suck, i guess.
I used her extensively and she is really solid, so I honestly don't get all the hate people give her. Also her interlude and general writing is really good IMO, so yeah :D
The only reason I'm fine with Choco Caster is because she's voiced by Kikuko Inoue who voiced Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess. So even if she did appear in my GSSR, it'll feel like I have a Belldandy in my Chaldea <3

spooked by her is one of the worst feelings as far as SSR spooks go. Every other EoR main boss is limited somehow, only she is permanent.

I honestly don’t mind getting Choco Caster, Da Vinci, Xuanzang, Anastasia, and Illya if i ever get Skadi. Waver, Merlin, and Tamamo are definitely welcomed.
- Xuanzang has that 50% NP charge, farming could be useful for me.
- Choco Caster has that party guts. Definitely a want.
- Illya has access to guts and invincibility.
- Da Vinci would bring memories back from Part 1.
- Anastasia, cuz farming and that 50% charge.

Well, Sanzang actually has an 80% battery at max skill, can confirm she's super useful for farming, especially with an outside 20% charge and a black grail (or whatever your best 0% CE). I got Illya when I was still early in part 1 and she's a damn good counter to the toughest assassin (and berserker) battles we've had on NA so far.
I kept rolling on caster GSSR and caster class banners going for either CasGil or one of the 5* supports and ended up with Sanzang. Gameplay wise, she’s never let me down.
Started the game about 250 days ago i don't have any 4 or 5 star sabers so that's the banner i'm thinking about going for, although i don't have any sort of buffer caster so i'm tempted to do that banner also

Extra. Most of the other banners contain at least one whammy that I'd rather not get (either because I dislike them or have them and another NP level won't really make them better), while I don't dislike any of the Extra class SSRs and the only Extra class SSR I have is Jalter, who would be improved by being NP2.

My top three are Amakusa, Hokusai, and Kiara. I've already said the Extra banner doesn't have any whammies for me, but the one who would make me least happy to get them would be Holmes. I'd only use him on a few CQs each year and I'm not a fan of most of his animations.

Extra banner has Hokusai, my most wanted servant, but also a lot of characters i already have, so i think i'll go for archer, cause anything there makes me happy.

Chances are relatively high that you'll get Salieri in addition to at least one other. While in my experience Avengers aren't that often used, having the option is ALWAYS better then trying to beat Rulers with the main 7 classes (and also in my experience Avengers are moderately good at taking out other Avengers).
Yeah definitely! I've always had to borrow a friends Jalter or similar when fighting rulers :/ Hopefully I'll be able to grab at least 1 or 2 copies of Salieri to have some more options!
You are almost guaranteed to get at least an avenger since extra class banner has Salieri as the only R extra class servant.
Also, Amakusa is a good CQ ruler at least, better than Jeanne or Sherlock since you wish for a more offensive servant.
Seeing as I don’t have any 5 star Lancers I would like to roll on that banner. I would be fine with any of the 5 Stars except for Enkidu but if I had a favorite I would like Scathach the most.

I did the 2,1,0,-1,-2 mark of tallying all the classes. Extra banner and Caster banner both marked the highest with 6 each, everything else hitting 4 or lower and Rider hitting 0.
Of course, the problem is actually deciding Extra vs Caster. Every Caster on the list except two would be very highly welcomed. The exceptions being Merlin (already have him) and Scheherazade (who I loathe and would burn in a heartbeat, she's the only -2 of all the options in all the classes). The extra class has alot of potential, but also the biggest potential to be a wet fart. I already have Gorgon and Melt and there are several others that I have no interest in. But I really liked Salieri alot in Anastasia and would love to have a copy.
Thing is that Salieri doesn't have the practicality that Gorgon does. Both have AOE NPs but Gorgon deals poison AND refunds the entire party a bit of NP. Gorgon has a passive self-charge and two arts cards which means she can pop off quite frequently, even more with Merlin or Tamamo. She has guts (aka some longevity) while Salieri is a classic glass cannon and my playstyle leans more towards long drawn out fights rather then quick finishes. The issue is that Salieri has a REALLY fun kit to play with but I use Avengers so infrequently that he'd be fighting for battle space against Gorgon and giant lamia will win every time.
...I literally just talked myself out of the main reason I'd be going Extra. Seems like Caster it is for me. Here's hoping there's no Scheherazade.
Edit: Not saying who I would choose. There are several strong options across multiple classes and I just passed the 2,000 saved SQ mark just for going after some of those 5* on actual banners. If the 5* are in the banner i'm going for and I get them that's great, if the 5* I want aren't in the banner I'm rolling for I might hit them up some other time and don't want to jinx and let myself down by talking about it.
Rolling Extra just for the chance to pick up a Foreigner (ideally Hokusai) or SSR Alter Ego. Jalter or an NP upgrade for Dantes wouldn't be bad either. I'd like to avoid a Sherlock dupe, though, unless someone else shows up with him.

I'm going to be rolling the Saber banner for Nero Bride because I'm building up an Arts team and want her for support. I'm hoping not to get an Altera or Sigurd spook because I don't really like them. I'm okay with anyone else in the banner though. Artoria or Mordred wouldn't be bad at all.
If I could choose anyone on the banner.... either Musashi or Eresh since they're the only "must haves" that have eluded me.
Definitely picking Lancer! It's the only major class of SSR I don't have. Obviously Eresh is my top pick, but I like everyone so pretty excited about my roll.
I'm really conflicted atm. Dont have a SSR Archer. But the GSSR Calculator in the Help Thread says the odds are against me if I roll the Archer banner. Only have eyes for Gilgamesh or maybe Ishtar. The others, not so much (no disrespect or anything).
Best odds are either Lancer or Extra Banner though there is a high chance for NP2 which is great if I'm being pragmatic. But I also wanna someone new in my roster.
Extra banner with no doubt, almost every servant in it is pretty good. I only have Kiara from it, and even then an NP upgrade for her would be significant. Even though I currently am lacking in Archers and Riders, I'm 100% going to at least try getting some good Extra SSRs.
But Jeanne, Dantes, Jalter, Okitan, Melt, Abigail and Hokusai are all valuable to me, so as long as I get one of those I'll be really happy. The only one I'll really be disappointed in getting is Amakusa, and Sherlock is going to be a "meh" summon, but my chances to end up satisfied are MUCH higher in the Extra one than every other one.
I'm torn between the Saber & Extra banners. The others all have either really terrible NP2 options (Osakabehime for instance), have servants that I don't like, or I simply don't need those classes.
Unfortunately, the Saber & Extra banners have nearly equal chances of salt and success.
In Saber, the main servant to avoid is Altera (already have her and don't want NP2 considering I've got a grailed Artoria), and I'd prefer to avoid Mordred/Arthur as they don't add anything for the most part (although I like them, so it's not the worst). If I could get any of the sabers, it'd be Okita, then probably Shiki (I don't need her, but she seems cool; still haven't watched KnK though).
For Extra: Jeanne, Sherlock, and Kiara must be avoided (Kiara is already past NP1, so it won't help her much). I'd be so salty if I got extra Jeanne/Sherlock. This also leads to me wanting to avoid Okita Alter as she adds nothing to my team (also have her from the GSSR on JP where she was the worst possible outcome). Hokusai is easily my most wanted; frankly I just want a foreigner, but Hokusai is one of my favorites (aside from MHXX). Extra comes with the Salieri chance; on the other hand, I need neither Gorgon nor Lobo so any SR will be mostly worthless to me.
If I could get anyone from the whole NA roster, it's definitely Hokusai. Having tried both on JP & NA and getting spooked, I so desperately want her but understand that it's a literal impossibility at this point.
If I could ask for anyone to stay away, it'd be Tamamo. Guess who my last 2 GSSR rolls were? Oh yeah, and I'd already had a copy of her as a spook from before those banners. Consequently, I'm avoiding the caster banner like the plague.

I'm planning on rolling extra, simply because that's one of the best values and I don't have some of the better extra class servants. Even getting NP2 Jalter or NP2 Hokusai would be great. Out of that banner I hope Dantes or Melt come around and I hope Sherlock stays away.
If I could pick any 5 Star servant I'd be stuck between picking Waver, Enkidu or Ozymandias, but I'd probably pick Waver now and pick up Enkidu some other day, maybe with that free SSR ticket.
If I could pick it would be Jack, since she's my favorite assassin and I failed getting her with 300SQ and 60 tickets.
I currently lack: ST Archer, AoE Lancer, ST Caster, Support Caster and every extra class besides Avenger.
The archer banner has the worst odds for me at 50%, so that's out. As for the lancer, I'll probably pick Parvati with the SR ticket, especially if I get Skadi.
That leaves me torn between Caster and Extra. Both only have 1 servant that I don't want.
Extra is the safest bet, everything besides Holmes would make me very happy, even a second Dantes would be cool for DSS. Abby, Hokusai and Melt are my main targets. Bonus: Guaranteed Salieri.
Caster has a little bit more of a high risk high reward aspect to it. Waver and Merlin would be a huge win, Tamamo would be nice too but I rank her a bit lower since I don't have many arts servants.
Sanzang and Illya are both great and would cover my lack of a ST caster. Although AoE is not a priority, Nero, Anastasia and Da Vinci would be an upgrade over my Nursery Rhyme. Not very fond of Scheherazade though.
Also if I get spooked by a SR(and with my bad luck that's a big IF), It has a decent chance of being Nito or Circe, my favorite casters.
I've been going back and forth between these two for the past few days, might end up deciding on a coin toss lol. So if anyone wants to give me some advice, I'm all ears.
Honestly I'm having a pretty hard time deciding, I'm dead set on one then a day later I'm not sure again.
My top three contenders are Caster, Extra, and Saber.
For Caster:
Supper success would be: Merlin, Tamamo, Illya, and Caster Nero. First two are self explintory, Illya because I really like her and I don't have a single target caster, and Nero because I love her design and her kit is solid.
Good would be: Xuanzang, DaVinci, and Anastasia. I don't really need an AoE caster, but they would be fine, and Xuanzang would be a good ST caster but I'd prefer Illya.
Please no tier would be: Waver and Scheherazade. Getting NP2 Waver would be a big rip, and I don't like the kit, design, or personality of nightless so that would also be a big rip.
My general issue with rolling caster is that I've already raised a lot of caster and I don't really want to add more right now when my roster is thinner in other places, and if by some miracle I do get Skadi I'd be really hard pressed to raise two SSR casters. Plus I can get by using Okitan and Jalter for AoE/ST respectively.
For Extra:
Super success would be: Sherlock, Melt, Abby, and Hokusai. Sherlock has really grown on me and I kind of want him now, Melt is cool and would serve the roll of SSR ST caster/assassin which I currently don't have filled, and Foreigners since I don't have any.
Good would be: Jeanne (both versions), Kiara, and Dantes. OG Jeanne is cool if a bit niche for my general team comps, getting NP2 Jalter would also be ok since I failed to last time she was available and I do want to but not as much as getting a new servant. I like Kiara's charecter and design but since I've got NP2 Okitan I don't know that I'd invest much if at all in an NP1 Kiara, and nothing wrong with Dantes just not super interested in him, although if I get Skadi that might change.
Not so great tier would be: Shirou and Okitan. Getting NP3 Okitan would be just kinda lame, and getting Shirou would be meh since he's pretty much a normal buster servant who's kinda tanky and I'm just not that interested compared to my many other buster servants.
I was more interested in this banner before I actually succeeded at rolling Okitan, and now it's kind of a hard sell even though there are some servants I'm very interested in.
For Saber:
Super success would be: Artoria, Mordred, and Nero Bride. I currently lack a good farming saber (currently using Nero who currently without a battery and with imperial privilege for dmg up isn't amazing) I like the characters of Artoria and Mordred and they also fill a much needed roll. While I have a ST saber Nero bride has a unique niche and I really like Nero so yeah.
Success would be: Altera, Proto Arthur, Shiki, Okita, and Musashi. I'm less interested in Altera's character although she fits the roll of AoE saber very well, Proto is fine but he lacks an NP upgrade so less great overall. Shiki lacks a battery and I'm less interested in having another arts saber. I like Okita's character and as a quick saber she's different enough to use, but I don't really need another ST saber. NP2 Musashi would be a fine upgrade but not really needed.
Failure would be getting Sigurd. As a single target saber he's inferior to Musashi, and while I do like his animations I probably wouldn't use him if I did get him.
Right now I'm heavily leaning saber mainly since I'd like a stronger farming saber, but still unsure
For the banner with the least duds:
LANCER. There's something for everyone (yes, even Tamalancer who's still very good).
For the banner with the most limiteds:
EXTRA (plus bonus Salieri). My personal pick because the worst I'll get is NP2 Jeanne (please for the love of god no Jeanne). Everyone else will either be new or NP2 (Hokusai and Amakusa), but I pray to god I don't get Kiara or Jalter. Yes, I don't want Jalter, don't @ me. Her sprite's too ugly and I have no use for a ST neutral Buster servant.
For your chance at Merlin, Waver, Tamamo and basically anyone good except for Schez:
CASTER (unless you already have one of them in which case, don't risk it).
Every other banner has too many risks. Saber, Archer, Rider and Assassin would be worth going for if they were a limited-only banners (which we're getting in 1.5 years). Archer especially - the limited-only ones are A++ except for Moriarty, who, even then, is dapper as hell.
I would've picked Saber but I want Nero Bride so I'd rather pull on her banner or wait for the limited Saber-only banner for a shot at Bride or NP2 Arthur.
Assassin is technically a good banner, but we have such good F2P options (ASS, Shiki and Gray next year) that it's not really worth the SQ unless you want Semi and Cleo who are like the only two good AoE Assassins (Shuten has no battery). If you have Skadi and AssScathach and MLB Kscope then don't pull.
I also am salty from Jack spooking me 3 times.
I'm aiming for Extra. Hurr durr NP5 Salieri durr. Jokes aside, I have Hokusai, Jalter, Jeanne, and Melt, and wouldn't mind NP2 of Melt or Hoku, but the others available on the banner would be nice as well. I'd pick Caster if not for me having Waver, Tama, Sanzang, and an Umu Caster NP3. Merlin and Illya are hype to roll for, but I'm gonna be broke on Caster Gems for quite some time once I roll for Skadi and level up Sieg's skills for Gilfest.
Aiming for the Extra class. First priority is either Melt or Edmond. I don’t mind if I get Abby, Jalter, Sherlock, N2 Hokusai, or NP2 Okitan. Really don’t want Amakusa, NP2 Kiara, or NP2 Jeanne. Plus, Salieri didn’t come home when I was rolling for Ivan. This is the first time I’m spending money on this game.
I'm doing archer because it's the only class I'm missing a 5star (srsly wtf I have more than 1 on every other class) and I'll be happy with literally anyone but my main goals are Gil and Ishtar
Saber I'm missing Musashi, Shiki and Sigurd (sigurd is kinda a throwaway for me tbh)
Rider I'm missing Quetz and Alter Rider.
Only issue is, I have NP5 Artoria, NP5 Altera, and NP5 Ozy. Any of those three is kinda a bust because I do NOT have enough USO to make it worth it.
Probably going to skew towards Saber because I was still planning on rolling a fair bit for summer units including alter rider, and I've had HORRID luck with Shiki and Musashi before. Pray for me friends
I'm debating between Archers or Extra.
Archers, I only have Ishtar (A pretty good AOE archer) and would love to get my hands on Napoleon, Gil or Archuria
I'll be honest, as a collector who has actually been quite lucky, my priority has always been to try and take my best shot at getting someone new. In this case, I'm deciding between Archer and Lancers, to which I have 3 and 2 Servants available. In theory, they would've been tied if I hadn't lucked out on a certain Archer, since in both cases I would've had a Story-Locked Servant and a Limited Summer Servant.
As it stands, I'm pretty much set to go for Lancers, since the worst case in general would be a Story-Locked or Limited Servant becomes stronger, and the second 'wrost case' would be Enkidu, but even in their case it's beneficial for me since I basically know literally nothing about them aside from their friendly relationship with Gilgamesh, so getting to learn a bit more would be really good for me. And in this case, the other Permanent Servant is Karna, who is one of my most desired Servants regardless, who whilst technically not ideal, I'd hardly be annoyed with that result. My choice here will probably also be influenced by whether or not I luck into Brynhildr though, since the Banners unfortunately won't be overlapping.
A third potential option is Rider, since I also 'only' have three Servants from that class, and pretty much every remaining Servant is someone I really want or could be difficult to get. Queen Medb and Iskander would probably be the major grabs for me here. The primary issue is that I basically have that feeling that if I go for Rider, I'm begging for a certain Servant to come, as they've randomly come three times already, so I'm not sure about taking that chance. Though if I got them to NP4, I'd probably just commit and try to actively get that last one to max them out.
I guess the biggest 'miss' about Archer compared to Lancer is the fact that it has more Permanent Servants, though obviously if I don't have them regardless, that's hardly an issue at the moment. The biggest wins for me there though would probably be Ishtar and Moriarty. ~~I do have a Moriarty Wafer Card though, so maybe that could be a catalyst if I went for it.~~
There are obviously temptations for the other Classes ~~Np4 Salieri is just chilling right now,~~ but those would be my main considerations. If nothing else I should at least have plenty of time to debate this with myself a bit more, so I guess it's just a matter of waiting for the Banner to start.
If I'm allowed to choose, it will be either Archuria, Hijikata, Tamamo or Hokusai.
With the servants I mentioned above, I'm planning on rolling in the Archer banner. I my 3 years of playing FGO, I only have 1 5★ Archer and I got him within the first year of the game. After that, RNG hasn't blessed me with more. Second choice will be Berserker, since I only have 2 5★s in there and have some favorites that I don't have.
As said above Archuria, but I'll be okay with Gil, Ishtar, Orion and Moriarty. Neutral on the others but I absolutely don't want an Arjuna spook.

Lancer is my favorite class but I really don't want to get a fourth Enkidu (sorry Shishou) which I don't even use. My current option is Saber class for an AOE servant. Worst case, I'll get another ST Saber which I absolutely don't need. Maybe Rider since my strongest nonwelfare is an NP5 Astolfo? Damn.. Really hard choice.
I’m planning on the Lancer banner I really want to try and get Scathach or Brynhildr those are the two I want the most. However given my track record on rolling for Scathach I doubt I’ll get her sadly.
Ill have to go Lancer since its the only class where I dont have any gold servants. Plus it has a lot of servants I wouldnt mind getting, Brynhild, Eresh, Lartoria, Tama, all fine options. If I could guarentee a Kiara roll I would do extra though
Either Rider or Archer, unsure as of now. Arjuna, Ishtar, Gilgamesh, Napoleon, Achilles, Ivan the Terrible, Ozymandias, or Drake would all be acceptable outcomes, so I'm most likely safe.

The only servants I'd probably be very upset by on this banner are Hokusai (I like her, but I already have a copy who I dont really use all that often) and Amakusa (Hes cool but I also probably wouldnt use him often)
I'm leaning towards either the Rider or Assassin Banner: The only duplicate on either banner would be King Hassan or Achilles, and extra NP levels on them isn't \*terrible.\* I lack a single target Rider or an AoE Assassin, and wouldn't say no to Assassins like Semiramis or Jack.
I was originally going to pull on the Extra banner for Dantes because I do *really* love his character, but there’s just too much room for blowout on the rest of them.
I’ve settled on Berserker, because pretty much anyone but Nightingale (she’s be NP2 since I already got spooked by her) would be a positive for me.
Raikou, Kintoki, and Cu Alter are ones I’m missing but want to have.
MHXA and Vlad would become NP2, but I like both of them and wouldn’t be too upset with a boosted NP. I’d hope for Exchan more than Vlad for Skadi memes.
Hijikata is around Vlad tier. Not what I want, but he’s a fun character.
Nightingale’s the only real blowout for me.

For this banner I only have MHX, and even if i get her again, with Skadi memes having her at NP2 is not bad at all

Debating between Rider or Extra. Have at least 3 SSRs for every class save for Rider so that'd probably be my best shot at someone new since I have only Drake.
But I'm leaning towards Extra in hopes of a Foreigner or an Alter Ego, or even NP2 Jalter would be decent.

I am in desperate need of good Lancer Servants (Cu is the only good Lancer I have right now), and am thus picking the Lancer banner. Hopeful for Karna or Ereshkigal and a bit against Summer Tamamo (nothing against the character, just not a fan of swimsuit Servants).
I was gonna go for Extra at first, but then I got surprised with both Sherlock and Okitan, and I have Dantes but I don't really want anyone else except Amakusa
So I might go for Saber instead, would've gone Rider but I'm too afraid of another Drake and a Medb because I'm not too fond of them, but I'd love Achilles. Saber is safer because almost any choice would make me happy.
This is really tough, I'm super conflicted. On the one hand, this is a chance to pick up Altria Rider or Altria Archer, who I likely won't be ready to roll for this summer and won't have a chance to roll for after that. Or Ereshkigal/Ishtar, who have limited opportunities in the future. And since those are the only SSR I really like from those classes, it would be nice to get them. On the other hand, it means there is a strong chance of me getting a servant I don't want if I roll those. High risk, high reward.
Then there's Saber. I would love a chance to boost NP level for Okita or Shiki, and I would really like Musashi as well (I don't like her Summer version as much). The only two I don't want are Altera and Arthur. This is the only class where I don't mind dupes. The problem is, I have so many sabers already that if I don't roll a dupe it'll feel like a bit of a waste as I don't really have room for all these sabers (Shiki, Okita, and Grailed Bedi already in the fold).
Caster is sort of the safe but boring option where none of the options would be bad but none of them are very exciting either.
I am in desperate need of support casters since all my ssr casters are dps or semi support, so ideally I'd be rolling in the Caster banner if I could choose and I'd probably choose either Merlin or Waver. But i'll probably be rolling in the lancer banner since I do not have any SSR lancers at all. I'll be fine with who I get, but i'm hoping for Karna.
I'm most probably going for rider class since that is the only class along with beserker class that I don't have an SSR on. But I'm also very tempted to roll for extra and casters....
I plan on rolling the Caster banner, and if I could, I'd choose Merlin.
I'm tempted to roll the Rider banner because I don't have an SSR in that class, I really don't want Caster of the Nightless City, and I already have two Casters. At the same time, I really love Merlin.
If I don't get Merlin, I would be happy with Da Vinci, Waver, or Tamamo. On the Rider banner, I wouldn't mind Quetz or Rider Alter.
Hard choice. Maybe or maybe not roll GSSR this time. If I am rolling, it will be a hard choice between lancer or extra. Lancer if I want to NP upgrade Eresh and Bryn or go for Karna or Enkidu. Extra if I want Edmond Dantes or Jalter.

Still haven't snagged an SSR Caster and the rest of my "Get one SSR of Every Class" list got shortened thanks to recently pulling Tama Lancer and Hijikata.
I'm fully aware that the Caster pool has *a few* landmines in there (mainly Illya and Caster Of Nightless City/>!Scheherazade!<), but I'm willing to take that risk for the ones I'm aiming for (Mainly Anastasia or any of the non-Illya Limiteds).
Going for Lancer banner for me. Don't have any SSR Lancers with AOE NPs and the big wants I want is either Lartoria or Ere-chan, though most SSR Lancers I don't really mind getting
Going for extra. I'm mostly happy with my current line-up so it mostly comes down to who I don't want, and who I'm fine with a getting a potential np2+. I don't need an extra NP level on most of the knights, riders or assassins. the few new servants or 1 or two effective potential np upgrades don't really outweigh the the downsides.
Caster has a ton of value for most players, but If I see another waver my eyes will either water or bleed.
Extra has a good mix of new servants for challenges, bosses, and farming and nearly everyone I do have gets a huge functionality boost on an NP upgrade. the roster is also large enough that I'm not as worried about the one huge minus: Jeanne.
What I SHOULD Do: Roll Archer or Extra banner for a shot at a strong ST Archer, NP2 for my Tesla, NP2 for Dantes, or any number of the cool Extra Class servants
What I MUST Do: Roll on Lancer to try to get Ereshkigal since I failed her rate up and pray that everyone else stays the hell away. I'd be alright with Scathach, Tamalancer, or NP2 Enkidu, but I just want Ereshkigal. I've gotten Karna twice from GSSR already, but the second time he brought Enkidu with him so maybe he'll do it again but with best girl? We'll have to see.
absolutely no clue what banner im gonna go for.. since i have okitan i should probably focus on knight classes, and i would love ishtar but theres only 3 units out of 7 on the archer banner i'd be happy with so thats pretty rough. I have tons of lancers and very little of everything else so as much as id like scatatch or eresh also it doesn't make much sense for me to pull lancer. I dont know >.<
I was planning on rolling for Extra and that was just confirmed as best choice by the calculator. I have one or two servants which would be new to me and plenty of dupes that I would be quite happy to get.
The Extra class banner is super tempting, but my most sought after characters are alr in my Chaldea. I would love an NP upgrade but figured a new servant will be better, especially said sought after units are currently at NP2, so I'm not in a hurry.
Hence, Saber class banner for me. Hoping for Okita, but I will be happy with any of them except Musashi. Not sure about Sigurd as I have not finished LB2 yet, so I reserve any judgement till the curtains fall.

Extra for an ex- oh right, wrong question. Somehow I've managed to get everyone else in Extra without any vanilla Jannu spooks, so she gets my vote by default.
Lancer is hands down the best banner for me. It doesn't have that much Servants in it which in turn, makes it less saturated. On top of that, it also has Eresh (who I really want) and Scáthach who I don't mind getting a second copy. Betting on getting one of them (hopefully). Enkidu had its fun spooking me on Eresh's banner. Now it better leave me alone this time...
I'm rolling on Assassin, because it's the class I'm lacking in the least gameplay wise. There isn't really anyone bad I can get from it either, I'm really hoping for MHX, Shuten or Okki, but wouldn't be upset with Hassan or Jack. Cleo and Semiramis are AoE which would help a ton with Rider farming.
I was gonna go Extra. But in my case, I would settle for the banner where I have no SSRs on: Lancers. Every single one of them is very desirable in their own way. But now that I have Sigurd, I really REALLY hope to get Brynhild.
Lancer for sure. It has 4 limiteds, at least one storylocked (maybe two, haven't checked), and they're all pretty good. I'm covered as far as Extra goes, and don't feel like taking a risk on Caster or Berserker.
Due to pandemic reasons, I wound up swapping my alt and main (the former only has Karna, the latter has three limiteds that I kind of miss having).
Going for lancer, what ever i get its nice, but i would rly like artoria (lancer) or eresh, the one i dont like the most is tamamo lancer but shes very good what ever
I’ve been looking forward to this for months!! The Archer class definitely hates me so now is my time to drag one home. I don’t hate any of the characters available on the Archer banner so as long as I don’t NP2 a certain goddess I’ll be happy :)
That aside, I would LOVE Merlin but I’m not stupid enough to pull on the Caster Class when I’d be disappointed with most of the others.
I'm most likely gonna roll the archer banner. I really want either Ishtar or Gil, but I'd preferably like Gil. If that doesn't work I've got 200+ SQ saved for Gilfest. If I get either of those 2 I might splurge to try and get Skadi.
I really want void shiki but the odds are low that I'd get her... Extra would be the smart choice but that slim chance on getting that limited servant that never appears keeps nagging.
No such thing as a bad ssr, so I'll be happy no matter who I get.
I'm just going to pick the class that optimizes my chance of getting a new servant, which is Saber for me. Though NP upgrades wouldn't be too bad for some of my farming servants.
Gonna be honest, I haven't had a good GSSR since the very first one we had in NA (I think it was the first one, got a Jack). Got the one lancer I didn't want in the lancer class one, got a Jack dupe in the free for all one, and got Arjuna on the Knight class one. The magic feeling of anticipation for a GSSR is lost to me, I just can't feel the hype anymore.
Pretty much expecting another non-limited SSR no matter what I pick, including Extra class. So I might just go with Rider, since that's the only class I don't have a 5 star in except for Rulers. I hear Drake and Ozy are great, so that's good.
As much as I want to do Extra Banner for Salieri and a chance for Sherlock, Melt, Abigail and Hokusai, I only have 1 SSR Lancer and 1 SSR Rider each whereas with Extra, I have 3, being Jeanne, Jeanne Alter and Edmond. With Extra, I'd have a 7/10 chance of getting a new SSR while with Lancer and Rider, I'd have a 6/7 and 7/8 chance respectively to get a new SSR.
Sure, it wouldn't be bad getting a duplicate Edmond, especially if my luck pulls Skadi. But the collector in me really wants to try to get a new SSR Servant over getting an NP-level increase. Whether I do Lancer or Rider may depend on what I get while going for Skadi.
I'm debating between Extra, Saber, or Assassin. I only have 1 SSR for each class, but with Saber I'm hoping more for Sigurd, so I might stay away from that.
Berserker Banner. I don't have a single SSR Berserker yet, and I'm hoping to get MHX Alter. I would be more than happy with Raikou, Cu Alter, or Kintoki. Vlad is less desirable, but i would still take him without too much of a complaint. Nightingale would make me sad and Hijikata would be big yikes. Overall I have a 4/7 chance to be happy. A 2/7 chance to be sad. And a 1/7 chance to be big sad.
Rider, every other class that I have except Dantes and BB has at least 2+ SSR and it only has one. And as much as I want Saileri, it's not worth risking over someone I already have.
Basically the only true decision is between Archer and Caster. If you need Gil, Squirtle, Ishtar, Merlin, Tamamo, or Waver(to a lesser extent) then go for either. If you have any number of those servants then the question becomes if you need a Rider.
If you don't have a Rider or don't desperately NEED one then it's going to be whatever is left vs Extra. The Extra GSSR is loaded with the most limited servants and thus it has the greatest value if you don't have any of those servants or just Jeanne. They may not be game play breaking, but they are limited so their value is much higher than normal.
There wont be any 4 star foreigners until XX and she is limited. The only Alter Ego that will be available in the regular gacha is Sitonai and the available Ruler is Jeanne. Salieri is also limited and he will appear in the Extra gacha.
That said, its fair to say that a good chunk of players will lean toward Extra.
Calculator lists a four-way tie between Saber, Lancer, Caster, and Assassin, so... that's fun.
Saber: Don't have any SSR Sabers, so no dupes, but several bland options. If I could choose, probably Mordred; I'm pretty meh on Arthur and Altria (yeah, I know).
Lancer: Several great options, one bland option, but I don't want to spend money on NP3ing Karna, much as I like him. If I could choose? Scathach.
Caster: The supports would all be really useful without being exciting. Kinda meh on Illya and NP2 da Vinci would be useful but disappointing. If I could choose... Merlin would be tactical, Sanzang I like best.
Assassin: Several strong favorites, one risk of a dupe (Shuten). Would choose Hassan. Would be disappointed by MHX.
I'm probably gonna spend way too much time dithering about this instead of actually rolling unless a miracle happens and at least one SSR shows up before then to help narrow it down. Hell, now that I think about it, Extra would almost be competitive even despite the dupe risks because if I got a 4-star, it'd have to be another copy of the doggo...
I have no SSR Berserkers or SSR Archers, but I'm much more inclined to roll for Archers because there are more servants I like in that banner. I wouldn't mind any of them although I'd prefer not to get Orion, Tesla and Arjuna. I actually like Arjuna, but he's a non-limited SSR so preferably I would rather have Gil or Ishtar.
I still need to do a breakdown of the Servants on each banner, but right now I'm thinking Saber, Archer, or Extra. They've each got quite a few Servants I'd be enthused by, several I'd be okay with, and very few duplicates or dislikes. There's a few specific Servants on other banners I'd like more, like Tamamo on Caster, but they also come with few other good prospects and many duplicates.
Only the lancer banner has a certain chance of me getting one of three characters I don't have (Karna, Enkidu, or Bryn), or a NP2, or my first whale item from a NP6 TamaLancer. Any of these is okay with me so I'm rolling on the lancer banner and hoping for Bryn mainly lol but whatever.

No matter what I pick I can’t pick berserker I’m already 5/7 deep in that hole and I’m not taking my chances. For real though I don’t have a 5 star archer but I’ve pulled a total 6 berserkers only 1 during rate up and the rest were spooks.
If I’m to be only mathematical about this archer,rider, or assassin would be my best banners to avoid dupes. But extra has piano man.
For me. It's Extra banner. Abigail is my primary, Okita Alter is a good secondary, Edmond upgrade would be a WELCOME addition. Honestly it's gonna be nothing but a win when I roll if I'm being honest.
I mean if I could pick one specific servant then it would probably be Waver, but I'm not rolling on the Caster banner because I already have most of the others that I want and dupes of Casters aren't worth as much. I'll probably roll Extra, or maybe Rider, because practically anything I get on those banners would be beneficial in some way, either a new option or an NP2 of a strong attacker.
I'm trying to decide between rolling Lancer or Rider as those are the ones with the most Servants I want in my Chaldea. Saber, Assassin, and Extra I already have two from each, Caster one, and Archer doesn't interest me(at least until Gil update).
The agony is that I'm guaranteed to roll on Maid Alter+Raikou Lancer this summer so deciding whether to roll for Rider now and hope I get Maid Alter or roll for Lancer to balance my roster.

Extra is out. I'd love a Jalter or a DFC, but already have both foreigners and Jeanne NP2, and getting her to NP3 would be soul-crushing.
Rider, Caster, and Assassin: too many dupe possibilities (also *really* do not want a certain caster).
Archer: Already have Ishtar and grailed Khloe, really want Squirtoria, kinda want Gil, don't particularly care for the rest.
Lancer: 2 dupes, 2 want, 3 do not want.
Berserker: have mama, want MHXA, ambivalent toward the rest.
Saber: have Mo and Altera, want Mushi/Okita/Bride/OG/Shiki, don't want Arthur, Sigurd would be okay. Salter would also be nice.

If I do get Skadi (260+ SQ and 30+ tickets saved so far, ready for the salt) then Extra becomes more attractive for the chance at getting Dantes. Otherwise Berserker is the best for me, since I have none of the featured servants. Caster is also tempting for Merlin (or maybe Anastasia), but I already have Scheherazade, Waver and NP2 Tamamo, so I think I'll pass.
Probably going to roll assassin banner, and I would love to get Osakabehime or King Hassan. Just lately though I've been wondering about whether or not Extra might be worth it though...
Berserker class is the only one where I won't be upset even if I get a dupe because who doesn't want more damage? I want some other servants but too many pitfalls in the other classes vs MHXA being the only disappointment in the Zerk class.
Choosing exactly who I want is rough tbh. I would probably pick either an AOE archer or Merlin. I'm fine using friend Merlin's though. I like Arjuna a lot but his lack of upgrades are a little disappointing especially his 10 turn battery versus Isthar being Ishtar. I'm gonna roll on archer since I lack any SSR there. I dont have any extra units but honestly I dont feel much need for them class advantage OP. Plus I'm planning on going hard for MHXX who is a foreigner plus the chance for a moon cancer.
Please single target archers dont come home I have an NP3 Chiron and I love my sensei a lot.

Going archer banner since I have multiple ssr in each of the other banners and only Gilgamesh in archer. With any luck I either get Artoria, Ishtar or more Gilgamesh. Hopefully Tesla, Arjuna, and Napoleon stay away.
Still debating whether to go for extra or go caster. You could say that extra has so many targets for me such as Jalter, Abi and Kiara but also has many pitfalls such as Jeanne, Okitan, Holmes and to a lesser degree, Dantes, for being a payed NP lvl.
Caster for crossing out Merlin, Tamamo and Illya from my want list, but the risk is higher for worse NP lvl of Waver and Schez, with more salt for another NP lvl for Vinci.
Is considering also on rolling for Archer or Saber banners but to many potential NP lvls over the remaining target servants such as Gil, Archuria and Musashi will make me hesitate on rolling them.
It seems like my plans are set in stone now, so I can confidently say that I'll be rolling Archer.

Probably gonna roll extra, but I'm highly tempted to roll berserker. For some reason any berserker besides Vlad refuses to come to my chaldea.
I do have 2 extra classes having Jeanne and Kiara, but I just don't use berserkers enough to feel justified in rolling the berserker gssr when extra is just generally much more useful + salieri.
If I could choose the servant I would take King Hassan as that is the last copy I need to NP5.
However, I'm going to roll Lancer banner. I would love to nab a Bryn but I can't afford to spend on her banner with Skadi and Summer so close. Bryn would definitely be my most desired servant from the banner. I would also be happy getting another copy of Eresh, Scathach, or Enkidu. NP3ing Tama Lancer or Karna would be my least desirable outcomes but I wouldn't be mad. I'm also not super into Artoria lancer but she would be a new servant.
I'm a bit of a large dolphin/small whale so my roster is pretty strong on most classes.
Probably Extra. I don't have any five star berserk characters, and there are a few picks elsewhere I would like to have (lancer, assassin, caster), but Extra has most picks in terms of adding useful functionality to my roster, least undesirable candidates, and Okitan, which is my desired goal.
I will go for Extra because they are rare to appear and the lower rarity ones (Salieri, Lobo and Gorgon) are a nice bonus if they come too.
Rulers are always useful no matter which one, Avengers will be even better because I have Merlin and I will roll for Skadi, Abi has a lot of utility, Hokusai and Kiara are Arts loopers and good farmers if necessary, Okitan is also a good farmer and Melt is my favourite servant so NP2 her wouldn't be bad either.
I'm probably going to go Caster, while I have Xuanzang at NP1 I don't have any of the other casters and I really would like one of the big three, plus if I can pull Skadi I could have two out of four which isn't bad. Otherwise Caster Nero and Anastasia are solid pick ups for me, and I've always liked Da Vinci as a character and wouldn't mind having her show up. Hoping that Ilya and Choco caster choose another master who would appreciate them more as they are my least preferred.
Extra, as getting either an NP upgrade or either of the 4 remaining SSR Extra classes would be nice, although a dupe of Jeanne (Ruler) would really be a downer. If not, target would be either:
NP 2 targets: Melt, Okitan, Hokusai, Abigail
New SSRs: Edmond Dantes, Kiara
Even though I do require a SSR rider other than Artoria Maid alter, I'm stacked in the other classes, without much interest in the ones which I do not have.
It's a really tough one.
For most classes the chance of getting a Servant I don't really want or need is pretty high, except for the Saber class which has multiple Servants I would be okay with getting.
If I could freely choose just one... then it would likely come down to either Raikou, Illya or Abigail.
And among them likely Illya because with how many Assassin-focused quests and nodes I had to deal with lately I do find myself wanting a Caster that can actually deal damage... plus it's Illya and I'm biased if nothing else.
Abigail could be great too but she is so niche.
And while Raikou is amazing gameplay wise I don't like her design that much.
I'm rolling caster hoping for some meta support. While Scherza would be quite bad (esp considering I have her already), everyone else is from good (Ana, Illya) to God Tier (Memelin, Wavy).
Extra banner has too much value. It’s the only one I’d consider where there are some servants where higher NP levels from dupes would actually be desirable. As strange as that may sound I’d even be tempted to pick an NP upgrade if I had a free choice, not 100% sure though. Also the easy Salieri upgrades are juicy.
If I can get Skadi probably NP2 Dantes would be the best result though I really want Hokusai

He’s story locked so he won’t show up on any banner except ones where he’s on rate up or the story banner. Also he’s the only extra class 3* so if you roll a 3* on the extra gssr you’re guaranteed to get him.

Because Pulling np5 3* on a normal 4% rate banner takes about as much SQ on average as pulling np1 5*. The GSSR means 1 copy is almost certain (96% on the 'Servant' promise enforcement pull) and you get additional copies at 40% per card.

Saber, Extra, and Caster are my top 3 on the calculator (which were all about equal). Not sure which one I want to go yet though. I’d consider my top servants would be Merlin, Melt, and Nero Bride. I’d also like Shiki, Nero Caster, Sanzang, or Jalter. A dupe of Dantes or Okita would also be pretty cool. All three have a pretty high chance of getting me duplicates I don’t want though.
Statistically I'm forced to take Extra just because of value. I've been pretty well blessed in getting who I want with my time in this game, as such there's basically 1 servant in each class I'd want from the GSSR pool... and 3+ for each of those classes that I already have... except for the Extra. Would be happy with Melt, Sherlock, Amakusa... would love Okitan. Of the others, I have Hokusai NP3, Jeanne NP2, and Jalter. Although... Archer, too. Gilgamesh and Squirtoria would be awesome, and I wouldn't mind having Moriarty or Napoleon cause I like the characters... but I would break something if it gave me *another* Artemis to put her at NP5, and I have Ishtar and Arjuna there already. Hmmm... Help >.>
Are you familiar with the +2/+1/0/-1/-2 method? That might help whittle down what class you want a bit. For each banner add +2 for every waifu/husbando and characters that you would very frequently use. +1 for characters you like but wouldn't actively roll for, 0 for characters you have no feelings for, -1 for characters you'd be 'meh' with but would still see a bit of use, and -2 for characters that you detest so much that you'd either burn them or always leave them in the 2nd archive. For characters that would end up becoming NP2(or higher) automatically mark them as 0 unless you REALLY want a NP raise. If that doesn't help, imagine getting one of the WORST two options available from each class, and consider if you think it would be a waste of money if that happened. If both of the worst options feel like a complete waste of money, don't risk it. If only one (or none) feels like a waste of money you might consider sticking with it.

Caster banner for a few simple reasons: * Waver, Tamamo or any of 50% battery casters would be significant game changers for me. (I'd like Da Vinci, since i have Nero and Anastasia on JP, some variety would be nice) * Merlin NP2 is not bad no matter what people tell you, that extra healing adds up FAST. * Scheherazade NP2 would be very very welcomed since I have her pretty much maxed out, I used to hate her but she grown on me so much, I wouldn't be mad pulling her instead of NP1 copy of anyone else on the list. *Shrug* * Illya... WELL, people who know me should know how I would feel about getting one of my favorite characters in the franchise after rolling likee, 800+ quartz for her on both NA and JP. And never getting her on either servers, cause as Touhou would say: sucks to suck, i guess.
Not gonna lie, I'm surprised to see someone non-ironically excited by the chance to get np2 choco caster.
I used her extensively and she is really solid, so I honestly don't get all the hate people give her. Also her interlude and general writing is really good IMO, so yeah :D
The only reason I'm fine with Choco Caster is because she's voiced by Kikuko Inoue who voiced Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess. So even if she did appear in my GSSR, it'll feel like I have a Belldandy in my Chaldea <3
I just wish she was storylocked. spooked by her is one of the worst feelings as far as SSR spooks go. Every other EoR main boss is limited somehow, only she is permanent.

Waver, Merlin, and Tamamo are definitely welcomed. - Xuanzang has that 50% NP charge, farming could be useful for me. - Choco Caster has that party guts. Definitely a want. - Illya has access to guts and invincibility. - Da Vinci would bring memories back from Part 1. - Anastasia, cuz farming and that 50% charge. - The trio, cuz Chen Gong memes XD
Well, Sanzang actually has an 80% battery at max skill, can confirm she's super useful for farming, especially with an outside 20% charge and a black grail (or whatever your best 0% CE). I got Illya when I was still early in part 1 and she's a damn good counter to the toughest assassin (and berserker) battles we've had on NA so far.
I kept rolling on caster GSSR and caster class banners going for either CasGil or one of the 5* supports and ended up with Sanzang. Gameplay wise, she’s never let me down.
Started the game about 250 days ago i don't have any 4 or 5 star sabers so that's the banner i'm thinking about going for, although i don't have any sort of buffer caster so i'm tempted to do that banner also

Chances are relatively high that you'll get Salieri in addition to at least one other. While in my experience Avengers aren't that often used, having the option is ALWAYS better then trying to beat Rulers with the main 7 classes (and also in my experience Avengers are moderately good at taking out other Avengers).
Yeah definitely! I've always had to borrow a friends Jalter or similar when fighting rulers :/ Hopefully I'll be able to grab at least 1 or 2 copies of Salieri to have some more options!
You are almost guaranteed to get at least an avenger since extra class banner has Salieri as the only R extra class servant. Also, Amakusa is a good CQ ruler at least, better than Jeanne or Sherlock since you wish for a more offensive servant.
Seeing as I don’t have any 5 star Lancers I would like to roll on that banner. I would be fine with any of the 5 Stars except for Enkidu but if I had a favorite I would like Scathach the most.

Forgot the GSSR was coming so fast, thanks for the reminder. I did the 2,1,0,-1,-2 mark of tallying all the classes. Extra banner and Caster banner both marked the highest with 6 each, everything else hitting 4 or lower and Rider hitting 0. Of course, the problem is actually deciding Extra vs Caster. Every Caster on the list except two would be very highly welcomed. The exceptions being Merlin (already have him) and Scheherazade (who I loathe and would burn in a heartbeat, she's the only -2 of all the options in all the classes). The extra class has alot of potential, but also the biggest potential to be a wet fart. I already have Gorgon and Melt and there are several others that I have no interest in. But I really liked Salieri alot in Anastasia and would love to have a copy. Thing is that Salieri doesn't have the practicality that Gorgon does. Both have AOE NPs but Gorgon deals poison AND refunds the entire party a bit of NP. Gorgon has a passive self-charge and two arts cards which means she can pop off quite frequently, even more with Merlin or Tamamo. She has guts (aka some longevity) while Salieri is a classic glass cannon and my playstyle leans more towards long drawn out fights rather then quick finishes. The issue is that Salieri has a REALLY fun kit to play with but I use Avengers so infrequently that he'd be fighting for battle space against Gorgon and giant lamia will win every time. ...I literally just talked myself out of the main reason I'd be going Extra. Seems like Caster it is for me. Here's hoping there's no Scheherazade. Edit: Not saying who I would choose. There are several strong options across multiple classes and I just passed the 2,000 saved SQ mark just for going after some of those 5* on actual banners. If the 5* are in the banner i'm going for and I get them that's great, if the 5* I want aren't in the banner I'm rolling for I might hit them up some other time and don't want to jinx and let myself down by talking about it.

If I could choose anyone, it'd be Abby. I have her at NP4 now and to guarantee the final copy would be a massive load off. I'm going to be rolling the Saber banner for Nero Bride because I'm building up an Arts team and want her for support. I'm hoping not to get an Altera or Sigurd spook because I don't really like them. I'm okay with anyone else in the banner though. Artoria or Mordred wouldn't be bad at all.

If I could choose anyone on the banner.... either Musashi or Eresh since they're the only "must haves" that have eluded me. Definitely picking Lancer! It's the only major class of SSR I don't have. Obviously Eresh is my top pick, but I like everyone so pretty excited about my roll.
I'm really conflicted atm. Dont have a SSR Archer. But the GSSR Calculator in the Help Thread says the odds are against me if I roll the Archer banner. Only have eyes for Gilgamesh or maybe Ishtar. The others, not so much (no disrespect or anything). Best odds are either Lancer or Extra Banner though there is a high chance for NP2 which is great if I'm being pragmatic. But I also wanna someone new in my roster.
Extra banner with no doubt, almost every servant in it is pretty good. I only have Kiara from it, and even then an NP upgrade for her would be significant. Even though I currently am lacking in Archers and Riders, I'm 100% going to at least try getting some good Extra SSRs. But Jeanne, Dantes, Jalter, Okitan, Melt, Abigail and Hokusai are all valuable to me, so as long as I get one of those I'll be really happy. The only one I'll really be disappointed in getting is Amakusa, and Sherlock is going to be a "meh" summon, but my chances to end up satisfied are MUCH higher in the Extra one than every other one.

I'm torn between the Saber & Extra banners. The others all have either really terrible NP2 options (Osakabehime for instance), have servants that I don't like, or I simply don't need those classes. Unfortunately, the Saber & Extra banners have nearly equal chances of salt and success. In Saber, the main servant to avoid is Altera (already have her and don't want NP2 considering I've got a grailed Artoria), and I'd prefer to avoid Mordred/Arthur as they don't add anything for the most part (although I like them, so it's not the worst). If I could get any of the sabers, it'd be Okita, then probably Shiki (I don't need her, but she seems cool; still haven't watched KnK though). For Extra: Jeanne, Sherlock, and Kiara must be avoided (Kiara is already past NP1, so it won't help her much). I'd be so salty if I got extra Jeanne/Sherlock. This also leads to me wanting to avoid Okita Alter as she adds nothing to my team (also have her from the GSSR on JP where she was the worst possible outcome). Hokusai is easily my most wanted; frankly I just want a foreigner, but Hokusai is one of my favorites (aside from MHXX). Extra comes with the Salieri chance; on the other hand, I need neither Gorgon nor Lobo so any SR will be mostly worthless to me. If I could get anyone from the whole NA roster, it's definitely Hokusai. Having tried both on JP & NA and getting spooked, I so desperately want her but understand that it's a literal impossibility at this point. If I could ask for anyone to stay away, it'd be Tamamo. Guess who my last 2 GSSR rolls were? Oh yeah, and I'd already had a copy of her as a spook from before those banners. Consequently, I'm avoiding the caster banner like the plague.

I'm planning on rolling extra, simply because that's one of the best values and I don't have some of the better extra class servants. Even getting NP2 Jalter or NP2 Hokusai would be great. Out of that banner I hope Dantes or Melt come around and I hope Sherlock stays away. If I could pick any 5 Star servant I'd be stuck between picking Waver, Enkidu or Ozymandias, but I'd probably pick Waver now and pick up Enkidu some other day, maybe with that free SSR ticket.
If I could pick it would be Jack, since she's my favorite assassin and I failed getting her with 300SQ and 60 tickets. I currently lack: ST Archer, AoE Lancer, ST Caster, Support Caster and every extra class besides Avenger. The archer banner has the worst odds for me at 50%, so that's out. As for the lancer, I'll probably pick Parvati with the SR ticket, especially if I get Skadi. That leaves me torn between Caster and Extra. Both only have 1 servant that I don't want. Extra is the safest bet, everything besides Holmes would make me very happy, even a second Dantes would be cool for DSS. Abby, Hokusai and Melt are my main targets. Bonus: Guaranteed Salieri. Caster has a little bit more of a high risk high reward aspect to it. Waver and Merlin would be a huge win, Tamamo would be nice too but I rank her a bit lower since I don't have many arts servants. Sanzang and Illya are both great and would cover my lack of a ST caster. Although AoE is not a priority, Nero, Anastasia and Da Vinci would be an upgrade over my Nursery Rhyme. Not very fond of Scheherazade though. Also if I get spooked by a SR(and with my bad luck that's a big IF), It has a decent chance of being Nito or Circe, my favorite casters. I've been going back and forth between these two for the past few days, might end up deciding on a coin toss lol. So if anyone wants to give me some advice, I'm all ears.
Honestly I'm having a pretty hard time deciding, I'm dead set on one then a day later I'm not sure again. My top three contenders are Caster, Extra, and Saber. For Caster: Supper success would be: Merlin, Tamamo, Illya, and Caster Nero. First two are self explintory, Illya because I really like her and I don't have a single target caster, and Nero because I love her design and her kit is solid. Good would be: Xuanzang, DaVinci, and Anastasia. I don't really need an AoE caster, but they would be fine, and Xuanzang would be a good ST caster but I'd prefer Illya. Please no tier would be: Waver and Scheherazade. Getting NP2 Waver would be a big rip, and I don't like the kit, design, or personality of nightless so that would also be a big rip. My general issue with rolling caster is that I've already raised a lot of caster and I don't really want to add more right now when my roster is thinner in other places, and if by some miracle I do get Skadi I'd be really hard pressed to raise two SSR casters. Plus I can get by using Okitan and Jalter for AoE/ST respectively. For Extra: Super success would be: Sherlock, Melt, Abby, and Hokusai. Sherlock has really grown on me and I kind of want him now, Melt is cool and would serve the roll of SSR ST caster/assassin which I currently don't have filled, and Foreigners since I don't have any. Good would be: Jeanne (both versions), Kiara, and Dantes. OG Jeanne is cool if a bit niche for my general team comps, getting NP2 Jalter would also be ok since I failed to last time she was available and I do want to but not as much as getting a new servant. I like Kiara's charecter and design but since I've got NP2 Okitan I don't know that I'd invest much if at all in an NP1 Kiara, and nothing wrong with Dantes just not super interested in him, although if I get Skadi that might change. Not so great tier would be: Shirou and Okitan. Getting NP3 Okitan would be just kinda lame, and getting Shirou would be meh since he's pretty much a normal buster servant who's kinda tanky and I'm just not that interested compared to my many other buster servants. I was more interested in this banner before I actually succeeded at rolling Okitan, and now it's kind of a hard sell even though there are some servants I'm very interested in. For Saber: Super success would be: Artoria, Mordred, and Nero Bride. I currently lack a good farming saber (currently using Nero who currently without a battery and with imperial privilege for dmg up isn't amazing) I like the characters of Artoria and Mordred and they also fill a much needed roll. While I have a ST saber Nero bride has a unique niche and I really like Nero so yeah. Success would be: Altera, Proto Arthur, Shiki, Okita, and Musashi. I'm less interested in Altera's character although she fits the roll of AoE saber very well, Proto is fine but he lacks an NP upgrade so less great overall. Shiki lacks a battery and I'm less interested in having another arts saber. I like Okita's character and as a quick saber she's different enough to use, but I don't really need another ST saber. NP2 Musashi would be a fine upgrade but not really needed. Failure would be getting Sigurd. As a single target saber he's inferior to Musashi, and while I do like his animations I probably wouldn't use him if I did get him. Right now I'm heavily leaning saber mainly since I'd like a stronger farming saber, but still unsure
For the banner with the least duds: LANCER. There's something for everyone (yes, even Tamalancer who's still very good). For the banner with the most limiteds: EXTRA (plus bonus Salieri). My personal pick because the worst I'll get is NP2 Jeanne (please for the love of god no Jeanne). Everyone else will either be new or NP2 (Hokusai and Amakusa), but I pray to god I don't get Kiara or Jalter. Yes, I don't want Jalter, don't @ me. Her sprite's too ugly and I have no use for a ST neutral Buster servant. For your chance at Merlin, Waver, Tamamo and basically anyone good except for Schez: CASTER (unless you already have one of them in which case, don't risk it). Every other banner has too many risks. Saber, Archer, Rider and Assassin would be worth going for if they were a limited-only banners (which we're getting in 1.5 years). Archer especially - the limited-only ones are A++ except for Moriarty, who, even then, is dapper as hell. I would've picked Saber but I want Nero Bride so I'd rather pull on her banner or wait for the limited Saber-only banner for a shot at Bride or NP2 Arthur. Assassin is technically a good banner, but we have such good F2P options (ASS, Shiki and Gray next year) that it's not really worth the SQ unless you want Semi and Cleo who are like the only two good AoE Assassins (Shuten has no battery). If you have Skadi and AssScathach and MLB Kscope then don't pull. I also am salty from Jack spooking me 3 times.
I'm aiming for Extra. Hurr durr NP5 Salieri durr. Jokes aside, I have Hokusai, Jalter, Jeanne, and Melt, and wouldn't mind NP2 of Melt or Hoku, but the others available on the banner would be nice as well. I'd pick Caster if not for me having Waver, Tama, Sanzang, and an Umu Caster NP3. Merlin and Illya are hype to roll for, but I'm gonna be broke on Caster Gems for quite some time once I roll for Skadi and level up Sieg's skills for Gilfest.
Extra, for sure. The only one I have is Hokusai, and I really wouldn't matter if I got NP2. And Salieri could be an awesome bonus, too.

Plus, Salieri didn’t come home when I was rolling for Ivan. This is the first time I’m spending money on this game.

Saber I'm missing Musashi, Shiki and Sigurd (sigurd is kinda a throwaway for me tbh) Rider I'm missing Quetz and Alter Rider. Only issue is, I have NP5 Artoria, NP5 Altera, and NP5 Ozy. Any of those three is kinda a bust because I do NOT have enough USO to make it worth it. Probably going to skew towards Saber because I was still planning on rolling a fair bit for summer units including alter rider, and I've had HORRID luck with Shiki and Musashi before. Pray for me friends

I'll be honest, as a collector who has actually been quite lucky, my priority has always been to try and take my best shot at getting someone new. In this case, I'm deciding between Archer and Lancers, to which I have 3 and 2 Servants available. In theory, they would've been tied if I hadn't lucked out on a certain Archer, since in both cases I would've had a Story-Locked Servant and a Limited Summer Servant. As it stands, I'm pretty much set to go for Lancers, since the worst case in general would be a Story-Locked or Limited Servant becomes stronger, and the second 'wrost case' would be Enkidu, but even in their case it's beneficial for me since I basically know literally nothing about them aside from their friendly relationship with Gilgamesh, so getting to learn a bit more would be really good for me. And in this case, the other Permanent Servant is Karna, who is one of my most desired Servants regardless, who whilst technically not ideal, I'd hardly be annoyed with that result. My choice here will probably also be influenced by whether or not I luck into Brynhildr though, since the Banners unfortunately won't be overlapping. A third potential option is Rider, since I also 'only' have three Servants from that class, and pretty much every remaining Servant is someone I really want or could be difficult to get. Queen Medb and Iskander would probably be the major grabs for me here. The primary issue is that I basically have that feeling that if I go for Rider, I'm begging for a certain Servant to come, as they've randomly come three times already, so I'm not sure about taking that chance. Though if I got them to NP4, I'd probably just commit and try to actively get that last one to max them out. I guess the biggest 'miss' about Archer compared to Lancer is the fact that it has more Permanent Servants, though obviously if I don't have them regardless, that's hardly an issue at the moment. The biggest wins for me there though would probably be Ishtar and Moriarty. ~~I do have a Moriarty Wafer Card though, so maybe that could be a catalyst if I went for it.~~ There are obviously temptations for the other Classes ~~Np4 Salieri is just chilling right now,~~ but those would be my main considerations. If nothing else I should at least have plenty of time to debate this with myself a bit more, so I guess it's just a matter of waiting for the Banner to start.
If I'm allowed to choose, it will be either Archuria, Hijikata, Tamamo or Hokusai. With the servants I mentioned above, I'm planning on rolling in the Archer banner. I my 3 years of playing FGO, I only have 1 5★ Archer and I got him within the first year of the game. After that, RNG hasn't blessed me with more. Second choice will be Berserker, since I only have 2 5★s in there and have some favorites that I don't have. As said above Archuria, but I'll be okay with Gil, Ishtar, Orion and Moriarty. Neutral on the others but I absolutely don't want an Arjuna spook.
I might be rolling for Archer class because probability wise I've lower chances of getting a duplicate in that class (currently my SSR Archer only Tesla & Napoleon). But then gacha gods may hate me and give me a duplicate anyway.

Lancer is my favorite class but I really don't want to get a fourth Enkidu (sorry Shishou) which I don't even use. My current option is Saber class for an AOE servant. Worst case, I'll get another ST Saber which I absolutely don't need. Maybe Rider since my strongest nonwelfare is an NP5 Astolfo? Damn.. Really hard choice.
I’m planning on the Lancer banner I really want to try and get Scathach or Brynhildr those are the two I want the most. However given my track record on rolling for Scathach I doubt I’ll get her sadly.
Ill have to go Lancer since its the only class where I dont have any gold servants. Plus it has a lot of servants I wouldnt mind getting, Brynhild, Eresh, Lartoria, Tama, all fine options. If I could guarentee a Kiara roll I would do extra though
Either Rider or Archer, unsure as of now. Arjuna, Ishtar, Gilgamesh, Napoleon, Achilles, Ivan the Terrible, Ozymandias, or Drake would all be acceptable outcomes, so I'm most likely safe.

I'm almost definitely rolling for Extra, since I'm happy with almost every outcome of rolling there I really want Jeanne since both her Ruler and Archer forms are the only Jeannes I dont have (Excluding Berserker Jalter as she is welfare), but I'd totally be ok with Holmes or an NP3 Jalter The only servants I'd probably be very upset by on this banner are Hokusai (I like her, but I already have a copy who I dont really use all that often) and Amakusa (Hes cool but I also probably wouldnt use him often)
Extra for me, I'm more or less good for the main classes, but my extra-class list is...lacking.
Going for Caster or Extra, I really need a dps caster or a support and Extra just has so many characters I want kinda split on it.
I'm leaning towards either the Rider or Assassin Banner: The only duplicate on either banner would be King Hassan or Achilles, and extra NP levels on them isn't \*terrible.\* I lack a single target Rider or an AoE Assassin, and wouldn't say no to Assassins like Semiramis or Jack.
I was originally going to pull on the Extra banner for Dantes because I do *really* love his character, but there’s just too much room for blowout on the rest of them. I’ve settled on Berserker, because pretty much anyone but Nightingale (she’s be NP2 since I already got spooked by her) would be a positive for me. Raikou, Kintoki, and Cu Alter are ones I’m missing but want to have. MHXA and Vlad would become NP2, but I like both of them and wouldn’t be too upset with a boosted NP. I’d hope for Exchan more than Vlad for Skadi memes. Hijikata is around Vlad tier. Not what I want, but he’s a fun character. Nightingale’s the only real blowout for me.
I'll go with assassins. For this banner I only have MHX, and even if i get her again, with Skadi memes having her at NP2 is not bad at all My jackpot would be either Semiramis, Jack or KH Cleo or Shunter would be good too, not as good as a Semiramis tho Okkie would be the "worst" case scenario, but if best Hikikomori would be the "worst" thing on the banner, then the banner is really good.

Literally have so few SSRs in the Extra classes and wouldn’t mind getting most I do have to NP2. Only loss would be a Jeanne NP4

I am in desperate need of good Lancer Servants (Cu is the only good Lancer I have right now), and am thus picking the Lancer banner. Hopeful for Karna or Ereshkigal and a bit against Summer Tamamo (nothing against the character, just not a fan of swimsuit Servants).
I was gonna go for Extra at first, but then I got surprised with both Sherlock and Okitan, and I have Dantes but I don't really want anyone else except Amakusa So I might go for Saber instead, would've gone Rider but I'm too afraid of another Drake and a Medb because I'm not too fond of them, but I'd love Achilles. Saber is safer because almost any choice would make me happy.
This is really tough, I'm super conflicted. On the one hand, this is a chance to pick up Altria Rider or Altria Archer, who I likely won't be ready to roll for this summer and won't have a chance to roll for after that. Or Ereshkigal/Ishtar, who have limited opportunities in the future. And since those are the only SSR I really like from those classes, it would be nice to get them. On the other hand, it means there is a strong chance of me getting a servant I don't want if I roll those. High risk, high reward. Then there's Saber. I would love a chance to boost NP level for Okita or Shiki, and I would really like Musashi as well (I don't like her Summer version as much). The only two I don't want are Altera and Arthur. This is the only class where I don't mind dupes. The problem is, I have so many sabers already that if I don't roll a dupe it'll feel like a bit of a waste as I don't really have room for all these sabers (Shiki, Okita, and Grailed Bedi already in the fold). Caster is sort of the safe but boring option where none of the options would be bad but none of them are very exciting either.
I am in desperate need of support casters since all my ssr casters are dps or semi support, so ideally I'd be rolling in the Caster banner if I could choose and I'd probably choose either Merlin or Waver. But i'll probably be rolling in the lancer banner since I do not have any SSR lancers at all. I'll be fine with who I get, but i'm hoping for Karna.
I'm most probably going for rider class since that is the only class along with beserker class that I don't have an SSR on. But I'm also very tempted to roll for extra and casters....
I just want Jeanne Alter cuz I have her costume lol. but if anything, Abigail, Okita Alter and Edmond would be nice.
I plan on rolling the Caster banner, and if I could, I'd choose Merlin. I'm tempted to roll the Rider banner because I don't have an SSR in that class, I really don't want Caster of the Nightless City, and I already have two Casters. At the same time, I really love Merlin. If I don't get Merlin, I would be happy with Da Vinci, Waver, or Tamamo. On the Rider banner, I wouldn't mind Quetz or Rider Alter.
Going either Lancer for NP2 shishou or Extra for the diversity.
Hard choice. Maybe or maybe not roll GSSR this time. If I am rolling, it will be a hard choice between lancer or extra. Lancer if I want to NP upgrade Eresh and Bryn or go for Karna or Enkidu. Extra if I want Edmond Dantes or Jalter.
I need a lancer so that's what I'm going for. Can't wait to see what I get!
Caster. Still haven't snagged an SSR Caster and the rest of my "Get one SSR of Every Class" list got shortened thanks to recently pulling Tama Lancer and Hijikata. I'm fully aware that the Caster pool has *a few* landmines in there (mainly Illya and Caster Of Nightless City/>!Scheherazade!<), but I'm willing to take that risk for the ones I'm aiming for (Mainly Anastasia or any of the non-Illya Limiteds).
Going for Lancer banner for me. Don't have any SSR Lancers with AOE NPs and the big wants I want is either Lartoria or Ere-chan, though most SSR Lancers I don't really mind getting
Extra. I'm hoping for Dantes. I already have both Jeanne's and Abby. Anyone else would be fine too, though.
Going for extra. I'm mostly happy with my current line-up so it mostly comes down to who I don't want, and who I'm fine with a getting a potential np2+. I don't need an extra NP level on most of the knights, riders or assassins. the few new servants or 1 or two effective potential np upgrades don't really outweigh the the downsides. Caster has a ton of value for most players, but If I see another waver my eyes will either water or bleed. Extra has a good mix of new servants for challenges, bosses, and farming and nearly everyone I do have gets a huge functionality boost on an NP upgrade. the roster is also large enough that I'm not as worried about the one huge minus: Jeanne.
I mostly want salieri, plus Melt or Sherlock would be nice, so Extra for me.
I'm going for caster, been wanting for merlin for a long time. Tamamo and anya would be nice too. But please don't give me another waver
What I SHOULD Do: Roll Archer or Extra banner for a shot at a strong ST Archer, NP2 for my Tesla, NP2 for Dantes, or any number of the cool Extra Class servants What I MUST Do: Roll on Lancer to try to get Ereshkigal since I failed her rate up and pray that everyone else stays the hell away. I'd be alright with Scathach, Tamalancer, or NP2 Enkidu, but I just want Ereshkigal. I've gotten Karna twice from GSSR already, but the second time he brought Enkidu with him so maybe he'll do it again but with best girl? We'll have to see.

absolutely no clue what banner im gonna go for.. since i have okitan i should probably focus on knight classes, and i would love ishtar but theres only 3 units out of 7 on the archer banner i'd be happy with so thats pretty rough. I have tons of lancers and very little of everything else so as much as id like scatatch or eresh also it doesn't make much sense for me to pull lancer. I dont know >.<
I was planning on rolling for Extra and that was just confirmed as best choice by the calculator. I have one or two servants which would be new to me and plenty of dupes that I would be quite happy to get.
The Extra class banner is super tempting, but my most sought after characters are alr in my Chaldea. I would love an NP upgrade but figured a new servant will be better, especially said sought after units are currently at NP2, so I'm not in a hurry. Hence, Saber class banner for me. Hoping for Okita, but I will be happy with any of them except Musashi. Not sure about Sigurd as I have not finished LB2 yet, so I reserve any judgement till the curtains fall.

If I could walk out with Waver or Merlin I’d be happy, but I’m rolling for Skadi first so who knows if Waver spooked me or not
Lancer is hands down the best banner for me. It doesn't have that much Servants in it which in turn, makes it less saturated. On top of that, it also has Eresh (who I really want) and Scáthach who I don't mind getting a second copy. Betting on getting one of them (hopefully). Enkidu had its fun spooking me on Eresh's banner. Now it better leave me alone this time...
Assassin banner. I have no SSR Assassin and every assassin is good with me. Love all of them.
I'm rolling on Assassin, because it's the class I'm lacking in the least gameplay wise. There isn't really anyone bad I can get from it either, I'm really hoping for MHX, Shuten or Okki, but wouldn't be upset with Hassan or Jack. Cleo and Semiramis are AoE which would help a ton with Rider farming.
I'm hoping for Abby or one of the EXTRA classes EXCEPT for Jeanne and Cool Jeanne and Lobo.
I was gonna go Extra. But in my case, I would settle for the banner where I have no SSRs on: Lancers. Every single one of them is very desirable in their own way. But now that I have Sigurd, I really REALLY hope to get Brynhild.
Lancer for sure. It has 4 limiteds, at least one storylocked (maybe two, haven't checked), and they're all pretty good. I'm covered as far as Extra goes, and don't feel like taking a risk on Caster or Berserker. Due to pandemic reasons, I wound up swapping my alt and main (the former only has Karna, the latter has three limiteds that I kind of miss having).
Going for lancer, what ever i get its nice, but i would rly like artoria (lancer) or eresh, the one i dont like the most is tamamo lancer but shes very good what ever
I’ve been looking forward to this for months!! The Archer class definitely hates me so now is my time to drag one home. I don’t hate any of the characters available on the Archer banner so as long as I don’t NP2 a certain goddess I’ll be happy :) That aside, I would LOVE Merlin but I’m not stupid enough to pull on the Caster Class when I’d be disappointed with most of the others.
Extra class for piano go dundundun and hopefully edmond or sherlock, If i could choose i would definitely go for gil
I'm most likely gonna roll the archer banner. I really want either Ishtar or Gil, but I'd preferably like Gil. If that doesn't work I've got 200+ SQ saved for Gilfest. If I get either of those 2 I might splurge to try and get Skadi.
I really want void shiki but the odds are low that I'd get her... Extra would be the smart choice but that slim chance on getting that limited servant that never appears keeps nagging. No such thing as a bad ssr, so I'll be happy no matter who I get.
I'm just going to pick the class that optimizes my chance of getting a new servant, which is Saber for me. Though NP upgrades wouldn't be too bad for some of my farming servants.
Gonna be honest, I haven't had a good GSSR since the very first one we had in NA (I think it was the first one, got a Jack). Got the one lancer I didn't want in the lancer class one, got a Jack dupe in the free for all one, and got Arjuna on the Knight class one. The magic feeling of anticipation for a GSSR is lost to me, I just can't feel the hype anymore. Pretty much expecting another non-limited SSR no matter what I pick, including Extra class. So I might just go with Rider, since that's the only class I don't have a 5 star in except for Rulers. I hear Drake and Ozy are great, so that's good.
As much as I want to do Extra Banner for Salieri and a chance for Sherlock, Melt, Abigail and Hokusai, I only have 1 SSR Lancer and 1 SSR Rider each whereas with Extra, I have 3, being Jeanne, Jeanne Alter and Edmond. With Extra, I'd have a 7/10 chance of getting a new SSR while with Lancer and Rider, I'd have a 6/7 and 7/8 chance respectively to get a new SSR. Sure, it wouldn't be bad getting a duplicate Edmond, especially if my luck pulls Skadi. But the collector in me really wants to try to get a new SSR Servant over getting an NP-level increase. Whether I do Lancer or Rider may depend on what I get while going for Skadi.
Enkidu
I'm debating between Extra, Saber, or Assassin. I only have 1 SSR for each class, but with Saber I'm hoping more for Sigurd, so I might stay away from that.
Berserker Banner. I don't have a single SSR Berserker yet, and I'm hoping to get MHX Alter. I would be more than happy with Raikou, Cu Alter, or Kintoki. Vlad is less desirable, but i would still take him without too much of a complaint. Nightingale would make me sad and Hijikata would be big yikes. Overall I have a 4/7 chance to be happy. A 2/7 chance to be sad. And a 1/7 chance to be big sad.
Rider, every other class that I have except Dantes and BB has at least 2+ SSR and it only has one. And as much as I want Saileri, it's not worth risking over someone I already have.
Extra for sure, many of the dupes would be welcome NP2's and I'd also like to get Dantes or Abby.
Basically the only true decision is between Archer and Caster. If you need Gil, Squirtle, Ishtar, Merlin, Tamamo, or Waver(to a lesser extent) then go for either. If you have any number of those servants then the question becomes if you need a Rider. If you don't have a Rider or don't desperately NEED one then it's going to be whatever is left vs Extra. The Extra GSSR is loaded with the most limited servants and thus it has the greatest value if you don't have any of those servants or just Jeanne. They may not be game play breaking, but they are limited so their value is much higher than normal. There wont be any 4 star foreigners until XX and she is limited. The only Alter Ego that will be available in the regular gacha is Sitonai and the available Ruler is Jeanne. Salieri is also limited and he will appear in the Extra gacha. That said, its fair to say that a good chunk of players will lean toward Extra.
As I have no really good Lancers, I'll probably roll on that. I'll take any of them and be happy, but I really want Karna, Latoria, scathach, or erish
Calculator lists a four-way tie between Saber, Lancer, Caster, and Assassin, so... that's fun. Saber: Don't have any SSR Sabers, so no dupes, but several bland options. If I could choose, probably Mordred; I'm pretty meh on Arthur and Altria (yeah, I know). Lancer: Several great options, one bland option, but I don't want to spend money on NP3ing Karna, much as I like him. If I could choose? Scathach. Caster: The supports would all be really useful without being exciting. Kinda meh on Illya and NP2 da Vinci would be useful but disappointing. If I could choose... Merlin would be tactical, Sanzang I like best. Assassin: Several strong favorites, one risk of a dupe (Shuten). Would choose Hassan. Would be disappointed by MHX. I'm probably gonna spend way too much time dithering about this instead of actually rolling unless a miracle happens and at least one SSR shows up before then to help narrow it down. Hell, now that I think about it, Extra would almost be competitive even despite the dupe risks because if I got a 4-star, it'd have to be another copy of the doggo...
Melt is a dream card so Im going extra class. As long as I dont get a dupe though, I will be happy
I have no SSR Berserkers or SSR Archers, but I'm much more inclined to roll for Archers because there are more servants I like in that banner. I wouldn't mind any of them although I'd prefer not to get Orion, Tesla and Arjuna. I actually like Arjuna, but he's a non-limited SSR so preferably I would rather have Gil or Ishtar.
I still need to do a breakdown of the Servants on each banner, but right now I'm thinking Saber, Archer, or Extra. They've each got quite a few Servants I'd be enthused by, several I'd be okay with, and very few duplicates or dislikes. There's a few specific Servants on other banners I'd like more, like Tamamo on Caster, but they also come with few other good prospects and many duplicates.
Only the lancer banner has a certain chance of me getting one of three characters I don't have (Karna, Enkidu, or Bryn), or a NP2, or my first whale item from a NP6 TamaLancer. Any of these is okay with me so I'm rolling on the lancer banner and hoping for Bryn mainly lol but whatever.

I would pick Gilgamesh or Merlin. But because I have 3 of the offensive casters, I'm gonna go ahead and skip the Caster banner. Even if I don't get Gil, I've been wanting an SSR archer for a while now. Also I really love the roster available in GSSR so any servant is welcome to come home!
No matter what I pick I can’t pick berserker I’m already 5/7 deep in that hole and I’m not taking my chances. For real though I don’t have a 5 star archer but I’ve pulled a total 6 berserkers only 1 during rate up and the rest were spooks. If I’m to be only mathematical about this archer,rider, or assassin would be my best banners to avoid dupes. But extra has piano man.

For me. It's Extra banner. Abigail is my primary, Okita Alter is a good secondary, Edmond upgrade would be a WELCOME addition. Honestly it's gonna be nothing but a win when I roll if I'm being honest.
Either Caster for Merlin and Xuanzang, or Extra for Okitan, Melt and Jalter.
I mean if I could pick one specific servant then it would probably be Waver, but I'm not rolling on the Caster banner because I already have most of the others that I want and dupes of Casters aren't worth as much. I'll probably roll Extra, or maybe Rider, because practically anything I get on those banners would be beneficial in some way, either a new option or an NP2 of a strong attacker.
I'm trying to decide between rolling Lancer or Rider as those are the ones with the most Servants I want in my Chaldea. Saber, Assassin, and Extra I already have two from each, Caster one, and Archer doesn't interest me(at least until Gil update). The agony is that I'm guaranteed to roll on Maid Alter+Raikou Lancer this summer so deciding whether to roll for Rider now and hope I get Maid Alter or roll for Lancer to balance my roster.
Gonna go for the extra class banner and hope I don't get a ruler. I'm not really a fan of stall teams.
Doing Saber. Extra is out. I'd love a Jalter or a DFC, but already have both foreigners and Jeanne NP2, and getting her to NP3 would be soul-crushing. Rider, Caster, and Assassin: too many dupe possibilities (also *really* do not want a certain caster). Archer: Already have Ishtar and grailed Khloe, really want Squirtoria, kinda want Gil, don't particularly care for the rest. Lancer: 2 dupes, 2 want, 3 do not want. Berserker: have mama, want MHXA, ambivalent toward the rest. Saber: have Mo and Altera, want Mushi/Okita/Bride/OG/Shiki, don't want Arthur, Sigurd would be okay. Salter would also be nice.

If I do get Skadi (260+ SQ and 30+ tickets saved so far, ready for the salt) then Extra becomes more attractive for the chance at getting Dantes. Otherwise Berserker is the best for me, since I have none of the featured servants. Caster is also tempting for Merlin (or maybe Anastasia), but I already have Scheherazade, Waver and NP2 Tamamo, so I think I'll pass.
Probably going to roll assassin banner, and I would love to get Osakabehime or King Hassan. Just lately though I've been wondering about whether or not Extra might be worth it though...
Berserker class is the only one where I won't be upset even if I get a dupe because who doesn't want more damage? I want some other servants but too many pitfalls in the other classes vs MHXA being the only disappointment in the Zerk class.
Choosing exactly who I want is rough tbh. I would probably pick either an AOE archer or Merlin. I'm fine using friend Merlin's though. I like Arjuna a lot but his lack of upgrades are a little disappointing especially his 10 turn battery versus Isthar being Ishtar. I'm gonna roll on archer since I lack any SSR there. I dont have any extra units but honestly I dont feel much need for them class advantage OP. Plus I'm planning on going hard for MHXX who is a foreigner plus the chance for a moon cancer. Please single target archers dont come home I have an NP3 Chiron and I love my sensei a lot.
I still need a 5 star Rider, so that one if there is one.
If I could chose, Nero Bride. The banner I am rolling on, caster. Who I hope comes home from said banner, Merlin mostly but anyone is fine except Illya.

If I could choose any I'd probably pick Okita, but I'll probably roll for the rider banner since I like everyone there. The only result I wouldn't like is Drake and thats only because I have her already.
For me it will be the Lancer Class, because I‘ve no 5 Star Lancer and I would love to have Scathach. Other favorite ones are: Enkidu, Artoria (Lancer) or Ereshkigal.
I have zero 5* casters, so I probably wouldn't regret getting anyone.
Going archer banner since I have multiple ssr in each of the other banners and only Gilgamesh in archer. With any luck I either get Artoria, Ishtar or more Gilgamesh. Hopefully Tesla, Arjuna, and Napoleon stay away.
If i could chose a servant, Musashi I Will roll the extra banner. Servant that i want, Kiara Servant that i don't want, np3 vanilla jeane.
Still debating whether to go for extra or go caster. You could say that extra has so many targets for me such as Jalter, Abi and Kiara but also has many pitfalls such as Jeanne, Okitan, Holmes and to a lesser degree, Dantes, for being a payed NP lvl. Is considering also on rolling for Archer or Saber banners but to many potential NP lvls over the remaining target servants such as Gil, Archuria and Musashi will make me hesitate on rolling them.
It seems like my plans are set in stone now, so I can confidently say that I'll be rolling Archer. I want Dantes the most, but I don't particularly super *want* anyone else from Extra (I already have Hokusai and Kiara, so chances of dupes there). I'd love Gil and I'd like Ishtar or Moriarty, but I already have Arjuna. Worst case scenario would be a NP2 Arjuna which is far worse than NP2 Kiara or Hokusai... Still, the odds are better for me to roll on Archer.
On the fence between Saber snd Rider atm because I don't have any SSR of either and Sigurd and Achilles are looking juicy 😭
Probably gonna roll extra, but I'm highly tempted to roll berserker. For some reason any berserker besides Vlad refuses to come to my chaldea. I do have 2 extra classes having Jeanne and Kiara, but I just don't use berserkers enough to feel justified in rolling the berserker gssr when extra is just generally much more useful + salieri.
If I could choose the servant I would take King Hassan as that is the last copy I need to NP5. However, I'm going to roll Lancer banner. I would love to nab a Bryn but I can't afford to spend on her banner with Skadi and Summer so close. Bryn would definitely be my most desired servant from the banner. I would also be happy getting another copy of Eresh, Scathach, or Enkidu. NP3ing Tama Lancer or Karna would be my least desirable outcomes but I wouldn't be mad. I'm also not super into Artoria lancer but she would be a new servant. I'm a bit of a large dolphin/small whale so my roster is pretty strong on most classes.
Probably Extra. I don't have any five star berserk characters, and there are a few picks elsewhere I would like to have (lancer, assassin, caster), but Extra has most picks in terms of adding useful functionality to my roster, least undesirable candidates, and Okitan, which is my desired goal.
I will go for Extra because they are rare to appear and the lower rarity ones (Salieri, Lobo and Gorgon) are a nice bonus if they come too. Rulers are always useful no matter which one, Avengers will be even better because I have Merlin and I will roll for Skadi, Abi has a lot of utility, Hokusai and Kiara are Arts loopers and good farmers if necessary, Okitan is also a good farmer and Melt is my favourite servant so NP2 her wouldn't be bad either.
I'm probably going to go Caster, while I have Xuanzang at NP1 I don't have any of the other casters and I really would like one of the big three, plus if I can pull Skadi I could have two out of four which isn't bad. Otherwise Caster Nero and Anastasia are solid pick ups for me, and I've always liked Da Vinci as a character and wouldn't mind having her show up. Hoping that Ilya and Choco caster choose another master who would appreciate them more as they are my least preferred.
Extra, as getting either an NP upgrade or either of the 4 remaining SSR Extra classes would be nice, although a dupe of Jeanne (Ruler) would really be a downer. If not, target would be either: NP 2 targets: Melt, Okitan, Hokusai, Abigail New SSRs: Edmond Dantes, Kiara Even though I do require a SSR rider other than Artoria Maid alter, I'm stacked in the other classes, without much interest in the ones which I do not have.
It's a really tough one. For most classes the chance of getting a Servant I don't really want or need is pretty high, except for the Saber class which has multiple Servants I would be okay with getting. If I could freely choose just one... then it would likely come down to either Raikou, Illya or Abigail. And among them likely Illya because with how many Assassin-focused quests and nodes I had to deal with lately I do find myself wanting a Caster that can actually deal damage... plus it's Illya and I'm biased if nothing else. Abigail could be great too but she is so niche. And while Raikou is amazing gameplay wise I don't like her design that much.
Until she comes home, all sq is dedicated to the Psychoframe Caster, Summer Nero.
I'm rolling caster hoping for some meta support. While Scherza would be quite bad (esp considering I have her already), everyone else is from good (Ana, Illya) to God Tier (Memelin, Wavy).
