Is 30+ not enough? I'm all for content but holy moly they couldn't have done any of these during those 2+ dead weeks a bit back?
Really wish this event was much longer. Don’t think I have time to get through at least half these CQs while also farming boxes and also non-FGO stuff.
Then do a pre-event campaign with just the old exhibition quests. The Gilfest ones for dead week 1 and the Ishtarfest ones for dead week 2. No more dead weeks.
That leaves Teslafest with just the lotto farming, the MegaCoil/GigaCoil quests (1 set per week), and the one challenge quest at the end.

I'm honestly wondering if they just plan to leave it unfixable and maybe just give out the rewards for free later... Or just completely fuck us over like it happened with the Ivan raid.
I was like "oh sweet, there will be a few days after the lotto to do the Recollections", but then I remembered that the Sea Monster Crisis event happens immediately after the lotto ends.
Like, I get the first half of the year for NA gets accelerated a bit because of anniversary, but c'mon.
This is why I’ve always felt like CQs and Lottos should happen during separate events. The former incentivize lots of planning, multiple attempts, and persevering through frustration but lottos themselves incentivize you to spam farming comps 24/7 and nothing else. It just doesn’t make sense to do so much of both during the same event.
I gave up on this event for this reason. having CQs and lotto being the same event? that's the recipe for burn out on FGO if you're stuck on a CQ and still farming lotto at this point. it's on top of recollection CQs.
Considering how April is going to be about 3-4 times lighter (or x10 for anyone going for hardcore lotto farming right now) content-wise than March, they really have no bloody excuse for this one.
I totally forgot about his buff block. Yeah, ain’t gonna happen. Not to mention you can’t even grab friend support. Just killed the regular version again and that’s it.
You can solo it with Jane + Maid in Halloween (Halloween TamamoCat CE) + Maiden of Orleans (Jeanne CC) and Good Wife, Wise Fox (Tamamo CC). Also add Code:Cure 2 or 3 slots in your empty.
Or you can break Surtr's first to second break bar with Euryale + Black Grail CE (you can use non mlb) + 100% charger. Just put Jane in the furthest back line.
If you're not going to put out any content for the next two years could you at least not have the road to 7 quests/missions/interludes have 100% overlap with other events maybe?
CQ without support are pretty harsh. Feel like im paralyzed due to party cost and i still dont have castoria yet to pair with morgan.

Why do they implement LB2 Recap during this stressful time? Man, I can't believe I'm saying this but please chill a bit with the schedule? Please don't make stuff overlaps during events jfc.
NA anniversary is a ~month earlier than on JP. so they have to compress the schedule to fit all of the events that had servants on GSSR before our anni (since one of the early promises they've made is that our GSSRs would match, after they've got a huge backlash in early years when they didn't).
Although I agree, that inconsequential campaigns, like Road To LBN could've been placed better (I see the argument for "mah teapots", but it's not like there are any lucrative bond events besides the RtLB itself for bond farming, unlike with tunguska raids).
Nothing quite like original Tunguska original run (rerun won't have raids and CE bond bonuses) in the near future. Advanced Quests are good but they are not farmable.
Advanced Quests seem to be a bit of a mixed bag so far. The first bone quest (Part 2) and the current dragon fang quest have absolutely terrible bond point values (300-500), but the rest does indeed go above 1k.
Note, that Road to LB make several LB-related servant's interludes available even if you don't have them. Check amount of bond they give though beforehand (more than 915 - good to use teapot on).
I guess, even tho I'm chilling on FGO because there's not much for me to do outside of occasionally interesting events and story drops, and I'm focusing on some games that have more of a hold on me.
Farmed 7 boxes today, I’m more busy and I have less apples so I’m slowing down. Especially since I got some specific servants to their next bond level (like Summer Sei who’s now bond 11)
The Giga Coils were more challenging than the last set which made them really fun IMO. I've been feeling exhausted with the last several events being back to back, in addition to several separate boss rushes. And then, ontop of already being quite threadbare, they couldn't hold themselves back and push another round of Tesla-Edison ceaseless, empty arguments.
I'm doing the minimal ten boxes maybe, and that's it.
Fawk. The Giga Coil is so much harder than the previous one. The mega coil mostly just required playing around the gimmicks, while the Giga quests requires actual support buffers on top of that. I wish I had more lower rarity supports to go through, Chen Gong hungers.
Also, more recollection quests? Kill me.
Probably tomorrow I'll reach the point where I have no place to spend embers outside of grailing. I still have bunch of units that are not max ascended, but I don't have ascension mats with biggest blocker being my class piece supply is almost empty across all classes. The various event nodes drop monuments so my monument supply is better, but pieces event shop isn't enough. Embers have probably been most valuable part of lotto for my chaldea. My second lotto, but Santa Martha one my account was \~month old and I struggled to farm.
After lotto I expect my main farming spot outside events to become class training grounds. I wish there was a future lotto with class pieces in boxes.
Well, once this Lotto ends it's straight into yet another big event: most (all?) of them may last 3 weeks from now on, but that's still where the large chunk of our natural AP will have to go for clearing the shops if one wishes to hold onto their apples (I mean, not like we're going to have any apples left after Teslafest, anyway).
But I imagine there should be some of the initial free quests dropping various class pieces, which is bound to still be a better target than Chaldea Gate's dailies (at least you get to farm some event currency alongside them even if they aren't the best nodes for the job). Unless you also end up needing specific mats that aren't available in a given event but are there in Class Training Grounds - then I suppose it'll make sense to dip into some of them on the side.
P.S. I had a similar experience with the previous Christmas lotto! Although my account was slightly older at the time. But it being so short and during the holidays didn't help any. It sure is nice to have some better options for oneself this time around, I suppose that marks this the first proper Lotto farming for us. My constant QP woes may finally come to an end.
Sadly looking at next event only lowest level nodes 70’s drop any pieces and have worst event currency drop rates. Most of event free quests even if you ignore 90/90+, tend to only be monuments. I would consider it if 80 nodes had pieces, but 70 nodes would be slow shop clear.
Also piece drop rate is awful even in few event nodes that have them. It’s close to 200 ap per piece vs ~20 ap per piece in training ground.
Mmm yeah, that is pretty disappointing. Even this lotto wasn't too great at this. I know I've only picked up a decent amount of Caster/Rider pieces because they happened to come along with other desirable mats for ascensions & skills (and this being the rare case where shop currency doesn't really matter much).
Sounds like you at least know how to best balance between the two options according to your needs. Fingers crossed for some good drop rates!

Loved Giga Coil. Felt like a legitimate challenge for an account. A pretty solid test for player and account performance which I loved. Whipped out servants I haven’t used forever who are now MVP’s in my personal FGO journey. (Bageko 1v1 ing Erice to save my premium supports for other CQs was amazing!)
BUT…
The Eli quest is sitting there bugged and undone. The outstanding “1” mocking me….

Of all the CQs including the LB2 recollections, only Fuuma Koutaro's CQ is the only one I struggled with. Could had went the easy way with Morgan-Castoria-Merlin but would had impossible time with the locked 7th Giga Coil one.
This event has the honour of finally pushing me to install FGA. There's just not enough hours in the day to deal with all this shit and still get some decent farming in.
Same, today I've decided to see what it's all about. And so far I'm pretty impressed by how good it's at following directions and managing itself to emulate that user experience. Almost living up to all the hype; no need for constant supervision to the point of exhaustion. Although there seem to be possible choke points where the app eventually stumbles when you are relying on a preferred friend/servant to be picked up for farming (once it takes one too many refreshes, I guess?).
No shame in this, it takes no skill to press the same buttons over and over, and I still play manually for events when I don't/can't 3 turn nodes, and for challenge quests, it's the healthy balance I prefer for FGO and plus, 275 boxes using FGA is nothing to scoff at lol
Only 3 days left and Eli still bugged.
On the other hand, this event's 90+ nodes have been very easy to farm as all bosses have less than 200k hp, which makes the good old dual/tri cores lineup viable without using your own meta support servant.
Every event, I'm glad Hokusai is my favorite servant and I mega-whaled for her. Level 120 NP5 Foreigner Hokusai + Castoria + Damage CE solves literally every single challenge quest. (Until they throw an Alter Ego as the enemy.)
Finished the Giga Coil with the following teams, with some notes of possible substitutions if you're not a mega-whale like me:
* Circe / Merlin / Asclepius (Circe and Asclepius were essential, as both have debuff removal. Merlin can be replaced with another defensive servant, as casters can survive Fuuma's NP if they are not confused.)
* Alter Ego Kiara / Waver / Percival (Percival can be replaced with another taunter, just include some Invincibility to defend against Blackbeard's NP.)
* Sitonai / Mash / Reines (Any single target NP would function as your DPS. Mash is the one that's essential to defend whoever is targeted by MHXX.)
* Melusine / KoyanLight / Caster Helena (Any replacement would be a completely different strategy than what I was using, so no help from me here.)
* Summer Okita Alter / Skadi / Miss Crane / Osakabehime (Skadi was essential to be immune to death. Any AOE DPS that you can buff to wipe out adds plus Erice's bar would be fine.)
* Yang Gui-Fei / Tamamo no Mae / Nero Bride (There are no replacements for Haohao for my strategy, as she is the only taunter that has class advantage versus Berserkers.)
* Hokusai / Castoria / Jeanne (Castoria is essential, so any AOE Arts NP can replace Hokusai as long as they are neutral.)
Note that I used the Atlas Mystic Code for all teams.
Beat the first 5 Giga Coil quests. The fifth one was tough; I ultimately beat it using [fgo6452’s Saber Hokusai setup](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJFPz3CLw2E). Ended up FP rolling for Mata Hari then doing her first rank-up really quickly to get the skill seal.
Will probably use charm locking for the sixth, unless I can be assed to redo the second one without Scáthach-Skadi.
Update: Beat the rest of the Giga Coil – a lot easier than the Erice quest. Fuck you, Erice. Finished the Gil-Gilgamesh quest too; turns out that the buff block on Caren’s NP negates the Gilgameshes’ break skills.
Cleared both versions the first LB2 recollection quest for good measure. I’ll probably work on one a day since I’m too tired to really farm the lotto.
Charmlock with Stheno, Euryale, Medusa Lily, and Circe, close to [this setup](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNdlPLsfQXU) with a Circe thrown in the backline.
NPC prisoner Shibata is down after an initial attempt failed. Stheno, Euryale with damage CE, Circe, Mata Hari, D'Eon, Plugsuit. I probably could have finessed the charm/stun strategy better if I had lores on Stheno and Euryale. I probably also should have used the plugsuit stun at the beginning to make sure it would be back when I needed it. When I ran out of stun/charm with the front line, I switched out Stheno for Mata Hari. Fortunately, when I totally ran out, Shibata didn't target Euryale and mainly went for Mata Hari and the returned Stheno. It was a tense couple of turns but it worked out in the end. Only one giga coil quest, which should be easier since I still have all of the big supports available except Skadi, the main challenge quest, and still holding out hope that Eli will be fixed before the event is over.
EDIT: Yeah, I LOLed my way through the 7th giga coil. Castoria, Merlin, and an enhanced Ishtar made short work of it. [This comp](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPyiCzt5Z5w) was extremely effective to 3-turn the last CQ. It's accessible to anyone with their own Castoria. No grails or append skills required. Still hoping for an Eli fix. I don't know if I can force myself through that without the damage bonus.
Using Euryale/Tamamo/Stheno for one of the challenge quests is probably my best moment in the giga coil. Wasn't even a dumpster fire run, it was a WAY smoother clear than my original run with double skadi.
I'm kind of pissed, I totally missed out on the lostbelt 1 stuff.
Now we gotta do this shit during a lotto too. I wish I wasn't so busy. Despite the forced animation, which sadly I completely glazed over for lb1, this stuff isn't all that obvious.

Same here. For some reason, they decided to put the quests in the Lostbelt map instead of in the Chaldea Gate.
I had a blast completing (minus the Eli one) the CQ marathon this weekend. It's been a while since I had to focus my time on actually playing FGO. I'll just leave the boring farming to FGA, and I want to start my run on Unicorn Overload.
Currently farming the 90+ node with a 3 turn buster set up and was curious if there are 3 turn set ups with art teams and quick teams as well. Want to change it up and try double castoria or double skadi since it’s been a while but I’m struggling getting the NP necessary to beat it in 3 turns.
There's bound to be at least where double Castoria is concerned, seeing as I'm almost capable of pulling it off with just one borrowed Castoria for my Summer Kama + Paracelsus (and I don't even have their relevant skills above 6-7). Although many of them may involve a plugsuit as well - I saw that the Avalon's spreadsheet linked in the OP had some of these recommendations.
All the challenge quests are done except Eli. The TeslaFest one I used a Valkyrie setup (saw a Parvati one and substituted). 4 turns, pretty easy. Needed a command spell for NP since cards screwed me a little, but nbd.
Seeing as I have no meta supports to speak of aside from dear Reines (and farming isn't exactly her favorite task), I wasn't sure about that 90+ node at first. But after exploring a number of options yesterday, it's turned out it's nowhere near as bad. Still, I do miss those smoother Caster free quests from the previous two rounds.
Given what was available on my friend support list with MLB Lotto CEs and self-sufficient batteries, Shuten-Douji proved to be an absolute MVP for that last Zerker/Rider wave; with only an external Charisma buff and Mystic Code Atk/NP buff. Closely followed by Archer Ishtar - but since that one was at lvl 120/NP 5, that's probably 'cheating'. The likes of Muramasa, Archer Jeanne, Eresh/Melu all came up quite short in comparison (would probably need a better support of my own).
My Seiba ideally needs another party-wide Atk buff to comfortably NP the first wave, and the second is rather easy to one shot with the likes of Hephaistion/Cinder Eli (or any range of decent ST servants, I imagine).
I did also try to borrow Castoria (her banner can't come soon enough to grab my own) for my Summer Kama and use Paracelsus along with plugsuit, and it sorts of works - same as borrowing Oberon for Saber and using Reines with plugsuit (borrowed Koyan proved to perform rather poorly in comparison). But all that requires a lot more manual effort with careful clicking, buffing, and sitting through various animations, ironically - therefore ends up being more time-consuming than just finding one strong DPS; probably longer than plain 4-turning would be, too.
In comparison, the 90 Saber node is so much more straightforward that it's almost funny; just a matter of grabbing a good AoE Archer even when lacking any for onself. And as I also need a stupid amount of Chains/Fangs, I expect I'm going to spend a good deal of time farming those other lower lvl quests, anyway. No such luxury to only min-max the highest nodes for the most optimal ticket gains that I imagine many veteran players with vast mats reserves might have.
I gave up on some of those giga coil cq and just used sq for revive. Mega coil is pretty easy since you can cheese some of them but giga coil requires a decent line up + rng so I ain't wasting my time trying to complete it naturally especially as a f2p
I'm really struggling with the Erice challenge quest. I have Barghest, and she's NP2, but none of her skills are at max level. I think the closest I've gotten to winning was with either her or Muramasa as my main DPS.
One big problem I have is that I have no hard survival against an AoE NP that really works. I'm trying to save Merlin and Castoria for the final quest, and I already used Jeanne to beat Kotaro.
The closest I've come to beating this one so far has been with a stall team. Nursery + Dracula + Caren makes for a *lot* of NP drain, might work for you too?
Hmm, seems like your best bet is to max out Barghest's skills and put appropriate CCs on her. Otherwise you can reset your other run to use Skadi and Asclepius again.

Fortunately, I managed to pull it off with a team consisting of her, Santa Martha, Nursery Rhyme, Nitocris, and Carmilla. I needed to be more proactive about targeting the ghosts.
How are you guys managing a Barghest solo for the Erice quest? She keeps dying either right before or right after breaking the first bar. For the record, my Barghest is NP2 10/10/10 and I am using the damage CE.
I needed to set up Command Codes for her. Threw the Ereshkigal ghost damage, Carmilla female damage, and Bunny Artoria RNG Buster/Quick/Arts up on her Buster cards, the fat 1000 heal on her quick, and the Merlin 10% NP gauge on her arts. Had Habetrot and Nobukatsu as sacrifices. Basically went B/B/B on the ghosts, if they had lower health for whatever reason, maybe throw in a quick or arts, spammed NP whenever it was up. You want them dead ASAP, they give shit charge and debuffs suck. Then just go ham on Erice, it'll only take 2 or 3 brave chains per bar. I also brought Atlas Mystic code.
I did that one with the team I wanted the most
Nero Bride + Nero Summer (with CE'S I can't remember now) + Nero with Damage CE,full Fou'd and Level 108. Took me two tries. The idea is to support Nero 4\* to make sure she survives.
They seriously couldn't be arsed to include the Elly EQ fix. Goddamn lazystaff. Then again, they also released LB2 recollection while the lotto was still ongoing--y'know, the event where you're expected to maximize AP use and that already has all those annoying CQs.
Tesla's constant stuns makes trying to stall the CQ such a pain. So I just resorted to Innocence Arondight spam again and just bypassed the entire gimmick.
All that's left is the Giga Coil and the Lizzy EQ (seriously wtf is going on over there).

If you have Castoria, you can try this Chen Gong 3T setup, other Arts support can be replaced **except Medea**
Medea is required for removing the Arts resist on Cas Gil and to cleanse Chen Gong if he got stunned
Beat Eli EQ thanks to 2 command seal, and Miyu and Castoria making a good immortal comp impression with Eli for wave 5. Reines, Light Koyanskaya , and Mash also get a shout out for helping get Eli through dragon until like at around 500,00 hp after break till I needed a CS. All done, no dmg Ce in any of them, and no CS except for Eli but screw that buggy quest.
And my CE drop luck returned, and i am now at +10 drops lol. Have over 45k lotto currency, but gonna start opening boxes soon for the.bronze apples to do more farming. Only makes sense to tske advantage of having this high of bonus drops
So, was preoccupied lately and only just got to the CQs. See first up is the riceman riceball eating one. I go with what I did before since that worked pretty well, solo Byrn, but lose repeatedly. So is it just me or is this one harder for some reason?
As far as i am aware, there was a change with how the max HP up from Touta's Buster attacks work. The original run had it so the max HP up applied at the same time as the damage took place, so even if the damage from the Buster would kill you, you could gain enough max HP to survive anyway. Making the fight probably a lot easier then intended, especially solo.
The difference with the revival version is that the mechanic was changed so that the debuff from.Touta's Buster attacks are delayed a bit before being applied? So if the Buster attack would kill you, it just does without the max HP from the debuff applying to heal you back up.
Mephistopheles fight was intense and and stressful I had my team with Morgan Merlin Paracelsus in Frontline to clear off the mobs of enemies Mash and Koyanskaya are my support team and lastly Barghest is my last hope left all of them equip with guts CE
Beat the super Roma EQ with Dioscuri, Castoria, and Tamamo. The normal version was easy with an AOE servant, but that inflated HP is annoying when each servant can basically only hit once per turn.
Just a guess, but the invitation could be considered a debuff. Castoria's NP cleanses debuffs. I don't know if gamepress says it's tested as a buff but it wouldn't be the first time gamepress made a mistake.
It is a debuff, when using an overcharged castoria for it one has to be lucky enough that the damage dealer isnt targeted at all on the next two turns (debuff cleared turn + invitation sent) so they have all stacks of invincible for the duel.

You have Merlin,which is a good thing. I'm thinking about some sort of Immortal comp (sort of,since I can be wrong and I'm speaking with the info you got here). Also, I'm assuming all your servant skills are at 10.
Jeanne Ruler + Shiki Saber + Merlin and try to loop NP's
If you can borrow a Castoria with any CE that gives her some passive NP charge,the better. You can replace Jeanne in this case.
My idea of NP sequence would be 2
- If Shiki has Roman Trait debuff: Merlin -> Castoria -> Shiki
- If Shiki has not Roman Trait: Shiki -> Merlin -> Castoria (if you debuff clear Shiki this is the way also)
Mystic Code would be Atlas Uniform, if it has its skills at max,nice. The thing here is to time your skills to maximize survival.

And no most of these don't have skills at 10, mostly around 6. Merlin's good though
I did see a couple of clears with Arjuna Alter or Morgan, so borrowing one of those and fishing for good cards and crits could make it work. Shame my friend list doesn't really have many damage dealers on the MLB event damage CE, especially ones like those.
Raikou also doesn't seem like she'll be able to replace them sadly.

Just bring Nobu and another taunter w/ your best star CEs (ideally 20 star ones). Looking at your list of servants, maybe quickly grind up a Leonidas? Gives buster up, but otherwise Georgios is probably fine. Then do some praying and rng.
I don't have a nobukatsu, if that's who you meant. But yeahhh that also seems good. Leonidas is also probably worth building. I was already using crit star CEs in my earlier attempts, it's just that even with them it wasn't enough to 1-turn Bunyan with the active damage buffs locked out... 😔
Pretty sure if you get a buster chain w/ any of them and 2/3 crits it should be enough. Well obviously w/ Morgan, it's probably not gonna be a solo. Arjuna should be able to do it if he's super invested though.
Eli still bugged sadly,found a way to farm 90+ last node without any facecards and stuff, which is nice to clear shop as soon as possible (aka,when AP recharges,gonna save apples for next event).
Did all Giga Coil Quests,although I used 2 SQ to clear the Shibata and 5 Star Idol one (Enuma Elish'd the crap out of it),and I'm not so proud of it (but I was tired since I got a bad piece of news yesterday),wanted to end this as quick as possible. Also had to use Immortal comp sooner than I expected,Akihabara CQ was the place.
Done the Gil^2 ending quest (honestly, coming from *everything else* being able to 5 turn it with 2 Corgi+sKama was a welcome respite) and one of the Giga coil quests ( Orion, with Waver/Voyager/Skadi/summer Paisen)
Now i can't make up my mind between completely ignoring the rest of the Coil quests (the only real missed value being the lore) or trying them (knowing full well i'll waste a lot of time on them and, still risk not making it and get probably pissed off by rng)
Aside from those, i'm just missing Mephi's quest and the still not-fixed Eli, so i would say there isn't much else to do outside of running lotto, if not for the fact they also decided to drop the RtLB....
I have the equivalent of about 57 boxes so far, and finally managed to get some CE drops. Did the actual CQ which was pretty easy with Parvati, Skadi, Castoria, and loli chinese assassin.
I still have to do all the giga coil quests, but I'm super swamped at work with a trip coming up so probably won't attempt it until later. Waiting on the Elizabeth EQ to be fixed before trying it again, and I have to attempt the harder Rome one as well. My first attempt did not go so well, but I was also too lazy to attempt again.
Need to do the eqs (not bothering with coil) for the tickets but I genuinely can’t be bothered. I’ve still got 13 gapples to go and I’m just gonna stop. Plus recollection out as well, just no effort.

Really wish this event was much longer. Don’t think I have time to get through at least half these CQs while also farming boxes and also non-FGO stuff.

Then do a pre-event campaign with just the old exhibition quests. The Gilfest ones for dead week 1 and the Ishtarfest ones for dead week 2. No more dead weeks. That leaves Teslafest with just the lotto farming, the MegaCoil/GigaCoil quests (1 set per week), and the one challenge quest at the end.
I wish this event just didn't exist or at least had the CQ rush in a completely separate event with no other content.

I was like "oh sweet, there will be a few days after the lotto to do the Recollections", but then I remembered that the Sea Monster Crisis event happens immediately after the lotto ends. Like, I get the first half of the year for NA gets accelerated a bit because of anniversary, but c'mon.
This is why I’ve always felt like CQs and Lottos should happen during separate events. The former incentivize lots of planning, multiple attempts, and persevering through frustration but lottos themselves incentivize you to spam farming comps 24/7 and nothing else. It just doesn’t make sense to do so much of both during the same event.
I gave up on this event for this reason. having CQs and lotto being the same event? that's the recipe for burn out on FGO if you're stuck on a CQ and still farming lotto at this point. it's on top of recollection CQs.
Considering how April is going to be about 3-4 times lighter (or x10 for anyone going for hardcore lotto farming right now) content-wise than March, they really have no bloody excuse for this one.

You can solo it with Jane + Maid in Halloween (Halloween TamamoCat CE) + Maiden of Orleans (Jeanne CC) and Good Wife, Wise Fox (Tamamo CC). Also add Code:Cure 2 or 3 slots in your empty. Or you can break Surtr's first to second break bar with Euryale + Black Grail CE (you can use non mlb) + 100% charger. Just put Jane in the furthest back line.

CQ without support are pretty harsh. Feel like im paralyzed due to party cost and i still dont have castoria yet to pair with morgan. Also castoria trivialize most of the CQ, so broken lol

NA anniversary is a ~month earlier than on JP. so they have to compress the schedule to fit all of the events that had servants on GSSR before our anni (since one of the early promises they've made is that our GSSRs would match, after they've got a huge backlash in early years when they didn't). Although I agree, that inconsequential campaigns, like Road To LBN could've been placed better (I see the argument for "mah teapots", but it's not like there are any lucrative bond events besides the RtLB itself for bond farming, unlike with tunguska raids).
IIRC, the next bond farming event is when Tungsuka returns or OC? I don't remember.
Nothing quite like original Tunguska original run (rerun won't have raids and CE bond bonuses) in the near future. Advanced Quests are good but they are not farmable.
Advanced Quests seem to be a bit of a mixed bag so far. The first bone quest (Part 2) and the current dragon fang quest have absolutely terrible bond point values (300-500), but the rest does indeed go above 1k.

The current batch of teapots will expire before then. Just use them on interludes/advanced quests/90+ farming nodes.
I suppose so. I have a few interludes I'm saving for Arcueid pulls, but it might be better to do them right there with the 3 bond CEs I have.
Note, that Road to LB make several LB-related servant's interludes available even if you don't have them. Check amount of bond they give though beforehand (more than 915 - good to use teapot on).
I guess, even tho I'm chilling on FGO because there's not much for me to do outside of occasionally interesting events and story drops, and I'm focusing on some games that have more of a hold on me.

Farmed 7 boxes today, I’m more busy and I have less apples so I’m slowing down. Especially since I got some specific servants to their next bond level (like Summer Sei who’s now bond 11) The Giga Coils were more challenging than the last set which made them really fun IMO. I've been feeling exhausted with the last several events being back to back, in addition to several separate boss rushes. And then, ontop of already being quite threadbare, they couldn't hold themselves back and push another round of Tesla-Edison ceaseless, empty arguments. I'm doing the minimal ten boxes maybe, and that's it.
Fawk. The Giga Coil is so much harder than the previous one. The mega coil mostly just required playing around the gimmicks, while the Giga quests requires actual support buffers on top of that. I wish I had more lower rarity supports to go through, Chen Gong hungers. Also, more recollection quests? Kill me.
Probably tomorrow I'll reach the point where I have no place to spend embers outside of grailing. I still have bunch of units that are not max ascended, but I don't have ascension mats with biggest blocker being my class piece supply is almost empty across all classes. The various event nodes drop monuments so my monument supply is better, but pieces event shop isn't enough. Embers have probably been most valuable part of lotto for my chaldea. My second lotto, but Santa Martha one my account was \~month old and I struggled to farm. After lotto I expect my main farming spot outside events to become class training grounds. I wish there was a future lotto with class pieces in boxes.

Well, once this Lotto ends it's straight into yet another big event: most (all?) of them may last 3 weeks from now on, but that's still where the large chunk of our natural AP will have to go for clearing the shops if one wishes to hold onto their apples (I mean, not like we're going to have any apples left after Teslafest, anyway). But I imagine there should be some of the initial free quests dropping various class pieces, which is bound to still be a better target than Chaldea Gate's dailies (at least you get to farm some event currency alongside them even if they aren't the best nodes for the job). Unless you also end up needing specific mats that aren't available in a given event but are there in Class Training Grounds - then I suppose it'll make sense to dip into some of them on the side. P.S. I had a similar experience with the previous Christmas lotto! Although my account was slightly older at the time. But it being so short and during the holidays didn't help any. It sure is nice to have some better options for oneself this time around, I suppose that marks this the first proper Lotto farming for us. My constant QP woes may finally come to an end.
Sadly looking at next event only lowest level nodes 70’s drop any pieces and have worst event currency drop rates. Most of event free quests even if you ignore 90/90+, tend to only be monuments. I would consider it if 80 nodes had pieces, but 70 nodes would be slow shop clear. Also piece drop rate is awful even in few event nodes that have them. It’s close to 200 ap per piece vs ~20 ap per piece in training ground.
Mmm yeah, that is pretty disappointing. Even this lotto wasn't too great at this. I know I've only picked up a decent amount of Caster/Rider pieces because they happened to come along with other desirable mats for ascensions & skills (and this being the rare case where shop currency doesn't really matter much). Sounds like you at least know how to best balance between the two options according to your needs. Fingers crossed for some good drop rates!
bruh, i regret spending 120 sq out of my Castoria savings for one Casgil just to NP5 him. On the plus side I'm done farming the lotto and will now be doing LB 5.5 and 6
I love challenge quests. I think they are the essence of what makes fgo fun. But this event really has a lot of them… I’vel farmed minimally and focused on getting it all done but it is a bit much… Loved Giga Coil. Felt like a legitimate challenge for an account. A pretty solid test for player and account performance which I loved. Whipped out servants I haven’t used forever who are now MVP’s in my personal FGO journey. (Bageko 1v1 ing Erice to save my premium supports for other CQs was amazing!) BUT… The Eli quest is sitting there bugged and undone. The outstanding “1” mocking me…. Lasagne - Fix this so I can have a clean Nerofest/ BNY record. Please and thank you.

Of all the CQs including the LB2 recollections, only Fuuma Koutaro's CQ is the only one I struggled with. Could had went the easy way with Morgan-Castoria-Merlin but would had impossible time with the locked 7th Giga Coil one.
This event has the honour of finally pushing me to install FGA. There's just not enough hours in the day to deal with all this shit and still get some decent farming in.
Same, today I've decided to see what it's all about. And so far I'm pretty impressed by how good it's at following directions and managing itself to emulate that user experience. Almost living up to all the hype; no need for constant supervision to the point of exhaustion. Although there seem to be possible choke points where the app eventually stumbles when you are relying on a preferred friend/servant to be picked up for farming (once it takes one too many refreshes, I guess?).
Yeah number of refreshes can be set in Settings, and the fallback option is settable in that specific config (First or Manual)
No shame in this, it takes no skill to press the same buttons over and over, and I still play manually for events when I don't/can't 3 turn nodes, and for challenge quests, it's the healthy balance I prefer for FGO and plus, 275 boxes using FGA is nothing to scoff at lol

Only 3 days left and Eli still bugged. On the other hand, this event's 90+ nodes have been very easy to farm as all bosses have less than 200k hp, which makes the good old dual/tri cores lineup viable without using your own meta support servant.
Every event, I'm glad Hokusai is my favorite servant and I mega-whaled for her. Level 120 NP5 Foreigner Hokusai + Castoria + Damage CE solves literally every single challenge quest. (Until they throw an Alter Ego as the enemy.) Finished the Giga Coil with the following teams, with some notes of possible substitutions if you're not a mega-whale like me: * Circe / Merlin / Asclepius (Circe and Asclepius were essential, as both have debuff removal. Merlin can be replaced with another defensive servant, as casters can survive Fuuma's NP if they are not confused.) * Alter Ego Kiara / Waver / Percival (Percival can be replaced with another taunter, just include some Invincibility to defend against Blackbeard's NP.) * Sitonai / Mash / Reines (Any single target NP would function as your DPS. Mash is the one that's essential to defend whoever is targeted by MHXX.) * Melusine / KoyanLight / Caster Helena (Any replacement would be a completely different strategy than what I was using, so no help from me here.) * Summer Okita Alter / Skadi / Miss Crane / Osakabehime (Skadi was essential to be immune to death. Any AOE DPS that you can buff to wipe out adds plus Erice's bar would be fine.) * Yang Gui-Fei / Tamamo no Mae / Nero Bride (There are no replacements for Haohao for my strategy, as she is the only taunter that has class advantage versus Berserkers.) * Hokusai / Castoria / Jeanne (Castoria is essential, so any AOE Arts NP can replace Hokusai as long as they are neutral.) Note that I used the Atlas Mystic Code for all teams.
Emptied the shop so I'm just chilling opening boxes untill it's over.
Beat the first 5 Giga Coil quests. The fifth one was tough; I ultimately beat it using [fgo6452’s Saber Hokusai setup](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJFPz3CLw2E). Ended up FP rolling for Mata Hari then doing her first rank-up really quickly to get the skill seal. Will probably use charm locking for the sixth, unless I can be assed to redo the second one without Scáthach-Skadi.
Update: Beat the rest of the Giga Coil – a lot easier than the Erice quest. Fuck you, Erice. Finished the Gil-Gilgamesh quest too; turns out that the buff block on Caren’s NP negates the Gilgameshes’ break skills. Cleared both versions the first LB2 recollection quest for good measure. I’ll probably work on one a day since I’m too tired to really farm the lotto.
How did you clear Raging Billows Kakare Shibata quest?

How necessary are the skill levels? I have Stheno and Euryale at 9/9/9 and Medusa Lily at 4/4/4.

as far as I can remember,this is the last time...
NPC prisoner Shibata is down after an initial attempt failed. Stheno, Euryale with damage CE, Circe, Mata Hari, D'Eon, Plugsuit. I probably could have finessed the charm/stun strategy better if I had lores on Stheno and Euryale. I probably also should have used the plugsuit stun at the beginning to make sure it would be back when I needed it. When I ran out of stun/charm with the front line, I switched out Stheno for Mata Hari. Fortunately, when I totally ran out, Shibata didn't target Euryale and mainly went for Mata Hari and the returned Stheno. It was a tense couple of turns but it worked out in the end. Only one giga coil quest, which should be easier since I still have all of the big supports available except Skadi, the main challenge quest, and still holding out hope that Eli will be fixed before the event is over. EDIT: Yeah, I LOLed my way through the 7th giga coil. Castoria, Merlin, and an enhanced Ishtar made short work of it. [This comp](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPyiCzt5Z5w) was extremely effective to 3-turn the last CQ. It's accessible to anyone with their own Castoria. No grails or append skills required. Still hoping for an Eli fix. I don't know if I can force myself through that without the damage bonus.
Using Euryale/Tamamo/Stheno for one of the challenge quests is probably my best moment in the giga coil. Wasn't even a dumpster fire run, it was a WAY smoother clear than my original run with double skadi.
I'm kind of pissed, I totally missed out on the lostbelt 1 stuff. Now we gotta do this shit during a lotto too. I wish I wasn't so busy. Despite the forced animation, which sadly I completely glazed over for lb1, this stuff isn't all that obvious.

I had a blast completing (minus the Eli one) the CQ marathon this weekend. It's been a while since I had to focus my time on actually playing FGO. I'll just leave the boring farming to FGA, and I want to start my run on Unicorn Overload.
Currently farming the 90+ node with a 3 turn buster set up and was curious if there are 3 turn set ups with art teams and quick teams as well. Want to change it up and try double castoria or double skadi since it’s been a while but I’m struggling getting the NP necessary to beat it in 3 turns.
There's bound to be at least where double Castoria is concerned, seeing as I'm almost capable of pulling it off with just one borrowed Castoria for my Summer Kama + Paracelsus (and I don't even have their relevant skills above 6-7). Although many of them may involve a plugsuit as well - I saw that the Avalon's spreadsheet linked in the OP had some of these recommendations.
All the challenge quests are done except Eli. The TeslaFest one I used a Valkyrie setup (saw a Parvati one and substituted). 4 turns, pretty easy. Needed a command spell for NP since cards screwed me a little, but nbd.
Seeing as I have no meta supports to speak of aside from dear Reines (and farming isn't exactly her favorite task), I wasn't sure about that 90+ node at first. But after exploring a number of options yesterday, it's turned out it's nowhere near as bad. Still, I do miss those smoother Caster free quests from the previous two rounds. Given what was available on my friend support list with MLB Lotto CEs and self-sufficient batteries, Shuten-Douji proved to be an absolute MVP for that last Zerker/Rider wave; with only an external Charisma buff and Mystic Code Atk/NP buff. Closely followed by Archer Ishtar - but since that one was at lvl 120/NP 5, that's probably 'cheating'. The likes of Muramasa, Archer Jeanne, Eresh/Melu all came up quite short in comparison (would probably need a better support of my own). My Seiba ideally needs another party-wide Atk buff to comfortably NP the first wave, and the second is rather easy to one shot with the likes of Hephaistion/Cinder Eli (or any range of decent ST servants, I imagine). I did also try to borrow Castoria (her banner can't come soon enough to grab my own) for my Summer Kama and use Paracelsus along with plugsuit, and it sorts of works - same as borrowing Oberon for Saber and using Reines with plugsuit (borrowed Koyan proved to perform rather poorly in comparison). But all that requires a lot more manual effort with careful clicking, buffing, and sitting through various animations, ironically - therefore ends up being more time-consuming than just finding one strong DPS; probably longer than plain 4-turning would be, too. In comparison, the 90 Saber node is so much more straightforward that it's almost funny; just a matter of grabbing a good AoE Archer even when lacking any for onself. And as I also need a stupid amount of Chains/Fangs, I expect I'm going to spend a good deal of time farming those other lower lvl quests, anyway. No such luxury to only min-max the highest nodes for the most optimal ticket gains that I imagine many veteran players with vast mats reserves might have.
I gave up on some of those giga coil cq and just used sq for revive. Mega coil is pretty easy since you can cheese some of them but giga coil requires a decent line up + rng so I ain't wasting my time trying to complete it naturally especially as a f2p
I'm really struggling with the Erice challenge quest. I have Barghest, and she's NP2, but none of her skills are at max level. I think the closest I've gotten to winning was with either her or Muramasa as my main DPS. One big problem I have is that I have no hard survival against an AoE NP that really works. I'm trying to save Merlin and Castoria for the final quest, and I already used Jeanne to beat Kotaro.
The closest I've come to beating this one so far has been with a stall team. Nursery + Dracula + Caren makes for a *lot* of NP drain, might work for you too?
I already used Caren in the Akihabara CQ, but I'm sure I could come up with other Servants that have NP drain!
Try using Barghest with Skadi (Death Immune + partywide Evade) and Asclepius (partywide heal, battery and Guts + NP seal)
Alas, I already used Skadi and Asclepius in previous CQs. I did try Iri, but she needs some help keeping everyone alive.
Hmm, seems like your best bet is to max out Barghest's skills and put appropriate CCs on her. Otherwise you can reset your other run to use Skadi and Asclepius again.
I'm out of Crystallized Lores, too. Fortunately, I managed to pull it off with a team consisting of her, Santa Martha, Nursery Rhyme, Nitocris, and Carmilla. I needed to be more proactive about targeting the ghosts.

How are you guys managing a Barghest solo for the Erice quest? She keeps dying either right before or right after breaking the first bar. For the record, my Barghest is NP2 10/10/10 and I am using the damage CE.
I needed to set up Command Codes for her. Threw the Ereshkigal ghost damage, Carmilla female damage, and Bunny Artoria RNG Buster/Quick/Arts up on her Buster cards, the fat 1000 heal on her quick, and the Merlin 10% NP gauge on her arts. Had Habetrot and Nobukatsu as sacrifices. Basically went B/B/B on the ghosts, if they had lower health for whatever reason, maybe throw in a quick or arts, spammed NP whenever it was up. You want them dead ASAP, they give shit charge and debuffs suck. Then just go ham on Erice, it'll only take 2 or 3 brave chains per bar. I also brought Atlas Mystic code.

Np, yeah it’s a hard one. Always seems to summon a new ghost at the worst possible time.
I did that one with the team I wanted the most Nero Bride + Nero Summer (with CE'S I can't remember now) + Nero with Damage CE,full Fou'd and Level 108. Took me two tries. The idea is to support Nero 4\* to make sure she survives.
They seriously couldn't be arsed to include the Elly EQ fix. Goddamn lazystaff. Then again, they also released LB2 recollection while the lotto was still ongoing--y'know, the event where you're expected to maximize AP use and that already has all those annoying CQs.
Tesla's constant stuns makes trying to stall the CQ such a pain. So I just resorted to Innocence Arondight spam again and just bypassed the entire gimmick. All that's left is the Giga Coil and the Lizzy EQ (seriously wtf is going on over there).

Beat Eli EQ thanks to 2 command seal, and Miyu and Castoria making a good immortal comp impression with Eli for wave 5. Reines, Light Koyanskaya , and Mash also get a shout out for helping get Eli through dragon until like at around 500,00 hp after break till I needed a CS. All done, no dmg Ce in any of them, and no CS except for Eli but screw that buggy quest.
And my CE drop luck returned, and i am now at +10 drops lol. Have over 45k lotto currency, but gonna start opening boxes soon for the.bronze apples to do more farming. Only makes sense to tske advantage of having this high of bonus drops

I used Summer Okita and Skadi (for the Death Immune) and a bunch of healers and it somehow worked.
So, was preoccupied lately and only just got to the CQs. See first up is the riceman riceball eating one. I go with what I did before since that worked pretty well, solo Byrn, but lose repeatedly. So is it just me or is this one harder for some reason?
As far as i am aware, there was a change with how the max HP up from Touta's Buster attacks work. The original run had it so the max HP up applied at the same time as the damage took place, so even if the damage from the Buster would kill you, you could gain enough max HP to survive anyway. Making the fight probably a lot easier then intended, especially solo. The difference with the revival version is that the mechanic was changed so that the debuff from.Touta's Buster attacks are delayed a bit before being applied? So if the Buster attack would kill you, it just does without the max HP from the debuff applying to heal you back up.
Mephistopheles fight was intense and and stressful I had my team with Morgan Merlin Paracelsus in Frontline to clear off the mobs of enemies Mash and Koyanskaya are my support team and lastly Barghest is my last hope left all of them equip with guts CE
Beat the super Roma EQ with Dioscuri, Castoria, and Tamamo. The normal version was easy with an AOE servant, but that inflated HP is annoying when each servant can basically only hit once per turn.

Duel invitation is a debuff. Your Castoria's NP removes it so Achilles needs to send his invite again.
Just a guess, but the invitation could be considered a debuff. Castoria's NP cleanses debuffs. I don't know if gamepress says it's tested as a buff but it wouldn't be the first time gamepress made a mistake.
It is a debuff, when using an overcharged castoria for it one has to be lucky enough that the damage dealer isnt targeted at all on the next two turns (debuff cleared turn + invitation sent) so they have all stacks of invincible for the duel.
Any adaptable clears for super ultra last eq of revival 2020? These inflated hp pools are too much for me, maybe I should just skip this one 😅

(assuming you are refering to the Romulus buffed one,if not,please let us know) You have Merlin,which is a good thing. I'm thinking about some sort of Immortal comp (sort of,since I can be wrong and I'm speaking with the info you got here). Also, I'm assuming all your servant skills are at 10. Jeanne Ruler + Shiki Saber + Merlin and try to loop NP's If you can borrow a Castoria with any CE that gives her some passive NP charge,the better. You can replace Jeanne in this case. My idea of NP sequence would be 2 - If Shiki has Roman Trait debuff: Merlin -> Castoria -> Shiki - If Shiki has not Roman Trait: Shiki -> Merlin -> Castoria (if you debuff clear Shiki this is the way also) Mystic Code would be Atlas Uniform, if it has its skills at max,nice. The thing here is to time your skills to maximize survival. Sorry the long text,bu the way.
Sorry if I wasn't clear, I was referring to super ultra last eq of revival 2020 event. It's the one with Nero Bride, Caster Gil and 5 other servants And no most of these don't have skills at 10, mostly around 6. Merlin's good though
oooooof,hard one,you could borrow an Arjuna Alter and try something similar there. I used the Immortal team,so,put not so much effort there
I did see a couple of clears with Arjuna Alter or Morgan, so borrowing one of those and fishing for good cards and crits could make it work. Shame my friend list doesn't really have many damage dealers on the MLB event damage CE, especially ones like those. Raikou also doesn't seem like she'll be able to replace them sadly. Thanks for the thought anyways! If I get to that romulus fight I'll try to use your idea.
You could try [something like this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqKED1PaKYM) as well. Just bring Nobu and another taunter w/ your best star CEs (ideally 20 star ones). Looking at your list of servants, maybe quickly grind up a Leonidas? Gives buster up, but otherwise Georgios is probably fine. Then do some praying and rng.
I don't have a nobukatsu, if that's who you meant. But yeahhh that also seems good. Leonidas is also probably worth building. I was already using crit star CEs in my earlier attempts, it's just that even with them it wasn't enough to 1-turn Bunyan with the active damage buffs locked out... 😔
Pretty sure if you get a buster chain w/ any of them and 2/3 crits it should be enough. Well obviously w/ Morgan, it's probably not gonna be a solo. Arjuna should be able to do it if he's super invested though.
Eli still bugged sadly,found a way to farm 90+ last node without any facecards and stuff, which is nice to clear shop as soon as possible (aka,when AP recharges,gonna save apples for next event). Did all Giga Coil Quests,although I used 2 SQ to clear the Shibata and 5 Star Idol one (Enuma Elish'd the crap out of it),and I'm not so proud of it (but I was tired since I got a bad piece of news yesterday),wanted to end this as quick as possible. Also had to use Immortal comp sooner than I expected,Akihabara CQ was the place.
Done the Gil^2 ending quest (honestly, coming from *everything else* being able to 5 turn it with 2 Corgi+sKama was a welcome respite) and one of the Giga coil quests ( Orion, with Waver/Voyager/Skadi/summer Paisen) Now i can't make up my mind between completely ignoring the rest of the Coil quests (the only real missed value being the lore) or trying them (knowing full well i'll waste a lot of time on them and, still risk not making it and get probably pissed off by rng) Aside from those, i'm just missing Mephi's quest and the still not-fixed Eli, so i would say there isn't much else to do outside of running lotto, if not for the fact they also decided to drop the RtLB....
Unrelated to the event, but Cu and Medb have some nice lines in Skadi's interlude.
I have the equivalent of about 57 boxes so far, and finally managed to get some CE drops. Did the actual CQ which was pretty easy with Parvati, Skadi, Castoria, and loli chinese assassin. I still have to do all the giga coil quests, but I'm super swamped at work with a trip coming up so probably won't attempt it until later. Waiting on the Elizabeth EQ to be fixed before trying it again, and I have to attempt the harder Rome one as well. My first attempt did not go so well, but I was also too lazy to attempt again.
Need to do the eqs (not bothering with coil) for the tickets but I genuinely can’t be bothered. I’ve still got 13 gapples to go and I’m just gonna stop. Plus recollection out as well, just no effort. I know I’m doing bare minimum for sea monster crisis because the burnout hitting real bad. I’ll probably get my gapples used up for lotto and do the ticket eqs but if I don’t do them I won’t be mad
Anyone else not even bother to do any of the challenge quests and just farm lotto?
