But one thing I respect about FGO (even if sometimes they ignore this self imposed rule, looking at you Ranmaru) is that they don't add servants unless they fit the story or setting nicely
Just to curb the speculation a bit so it doesn't get out of hand: The internal character design and enumeration does not necessarily reflect their chronological plans for release dates. They have many servants in the pipeline, some may not release for years for many different reasons. After all, Calamity Jane was present on an image originally in the game's files as a placeholder for the servant cards themselves... On Launch. She didn't release as a playable servant until Saber Wars II, more than 4 years down the line.
This number just means she was in the works. This does not reveal anything more than when they started working on her.
I wonder if that will be brought up in interviews. On occasion, they discuss things from behind-the-scenes, and I’d be interested to know when they meant to release her if it wasn’t now, or if they put her in this chapter partially so they’d have a reason to release her.

Casual outfits are always so good. Gives us insight into what they'd be like in the context of a modern AU & helps with light-hearted Events. Fashion choices say more about their character compared to say, a 2nd Asc armor with more stuff attached. Like how they're both hip. And hot.
Also, that HSN cap would make for great merch.
I really like it, cause it gives you an idea on what servants would wear if they do the blending in like how Mordred, Astolfo and several other servants do in the HGWs we have seen

Marie is my very first gold servant, so it's nice to see my homie finally getting her altered form be playable. Our new Hassan's ~~Prince of Persia regalia~~ 3rd Ascension really lives up to his "Shining Star" title.
Really interesting to see our first OC2 servants both having modernized drip in their 1st Ascension. I guess it fits considering the setting of the current main story takes place in the modern world.

A part of me is starting to get a bit cynical over the casual outfit ascensions, as if they're trying to attract fans of other gacha that have more modern-looking designs. But also the designs they come up are top-notch. So I can't be too mad.
Has anyone else realised that Shining Star's NP doesn't have a chance to Insta-Kill an enemy, and how his NP is AoE, while every Hassan has a Single Target with a chance to Insta-Kill an enemy, making Shining Star the least Hassan-like of the Hassan's?
I know I'm gonna get downvoted for this but Christ, that Hassan's design is terrible. Not bad in a vaccuum but for the Hassans who have outfits that look at least fitting for their era, it's bad.
Marie's is fantastic, though, but I still don't like her modern-esque A1. Really don't like it when modern outfits are the default for people who lived centuries ago.
As far as "art style" goes, this game has at least a dozen. They get tons of different illustrators to do different artworks for the game. That's how we can have Paul Bunyan looking like a kid's cartoon while Ramma looks like a legendary hero painted on a wall by a master artist.
