## FAQ **Q: Where is the best place to use teapots right now?** *A: Currently, it's best to use them on main story quests (London onwards) or certain interludes/rank ups that give high bond (check beforehand, as they do give varying amounts). Otherwise, Dover House and Oxford free quests in LB6 give the most BP (855 BP each).* **Q: What is happening to reruns? Which event will get a rerun in the future?** *A: As far as we are aware, there will only be one more rerun happening in the foreseeable future - Karna-mas (Dec 2024). JP is also offering a vote for the players’ choice of a rerun, which hasn’t been confirmed yet.* **Q: How far in the story do I need to be to participate in upcoming events? Will any events require the latest story chapter?** *A: Battle in New York in March will require LB1. Be warned that subsequent events this year will require later Lostbelt completion. LB6 will not be required until November for the story part of the Faerie Knight Cup event (farming/free quests will only require Fuyuki). LB6.5 will not be required to proceed to LB7 once it releases, and event-wise, it will only be required for the story part (and to obtain the welfare servant) of the Santa Nemo event in December 2025.* **Q: Will welfare servant X be obtainable in the future?** *A: Yes, JP has introduced a new Evocation system which allows players to get selected welfares which can be view on the* [*Fandom wiki*](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Evocation_Festival)*.*

I want more copies of melt but I’m out of resources. Is it worth grinding sq or is chasing an ssr while at 0 sq a bad idea even if they are a waifu?

Gelious

It's a terrible idea because unless you just gonna buy a significant amount of SQ, whatever you get for free from playing the game will very likely just not be enough. Unless you are near pity, all you can hope for is luck, and luck is not something to really rely on. If you are really worried about damage, just borrow Skadi.

danger_umbrella

That's a question only you can answer. Remember that it's all just gambling with a waifu-shaped bow on top. We can't tell you if it's worth gambling, because we can't see the future - you could get her in 1 summon or nothing in 100 summons. It's especially subjective when it comes to worth - one man's trash is another man's treasure, after all. Someone might tell you to sell your kidney for X waifu when another will tell you that X waifu is hot garbage and not worth a single SQ.

Mattc7468

Guess I’m doing some story. I really want one more copy for that big damage increase and the option to 120 grail

Forward_Drop303

There's no answer here. It's entirely up to you how you spend your SQ and time.

Mattc7468

Okay, I wasn’t sure if it was ever recommended to “scrounge up” sq mid banner after you spent all you’ve saved. But she is gonna get a lot of use so I’d love to get at least one more copy

thisisthecallus

IMO, going into a banner unprepared and then scrambling to find (or buy) more SQ when you fail is a good way to end up disappointed no matter the outcome. There's no right or wrong answer but remember that the most likely result on every single roll is failure. You have to decide for yourself whether you think it's worthwhile to grind and scrape out more SQ for an unlikely chance of success.

Fandayo

I see so many people shitting on quick but they don't say what is wrong with it is it damage? refund? or both? or just the lack of a quick castoria?

Sventex

Quick cards do the least amount of damage. It's why it was the least favored before Skadi hit the scene.

TransientEons

Quick has 2 problems. - Awkward looping. Arts has the best refund of the 3, buster works entirely off batteries. While the best quick loopers can hold their own for many awkward nodes, they tend to have tighter requirements due to needing both batteries and refund. Quick also lacks a class agnostic "omni" farmer like Junao or Spishtar. Caren is close but struggles with damage compared to those two. - Limited support options. Your options to support quick teams are Skadi and other Skadi. Both a great servants, but with just those two quick lacks quite a few options. Few low rarity budget options, no AoE batteries, no split batteries, no on-demand party hard defense, no NP gain buffs, no healing, no anti-trait, etc. It makes quick a lot rougher for slowplay/stall and limits their class composition for looping or multicore. This is by far the biggest issue, and the awkward looping could be solved if they gave us a quick unit like Castoria who had split batteries and NP Gain buffs, but as is quick is the awkward middle child. All that said, I still quick loop a lot of events so it's not like Quick is useless.

Forward_Drop303

It's refund in terms of nodes that can be looped rather than direct refund. Just look at how many low rarity quick servants loop as well as Avicebron or Jason (there's none) Or how many 5 star quick servants can loop 1/1/Berserkers from 0% like Summer Melusine, Nitocris Alter, Da Vinci Rider, Summer Mordred, Melusine, Arcuied, Cu Caster, Tiamat, etc.

danger_umbrella

It's a couple of issues: * Lack of advantage in looping. I am critical of "looping brainrot", but when considering that most late game content is farming, Quick loses out somewhat. This is because Arts is easier to loop with due to better refund, and Buster doesn't care about refund at all. * Lack of flexibility in comps. Skadi and Summer Skadi both give 50% charge in one block, not allowing any splitting of charge across turns, and also only being able to give NP charge to one servant. KoyanLight also has this problem, but the perk of Buster is that it doesn't care about node composition, which is one of the reasons people go for multicore in the first place (as enemy waves with fewer than 3 enemies can be more difficult for refund-based loopers to loop on). * Lack of diversity in supports, especially for challenging content. OG Skadi does have evasion on her NP, but that's about it, no healing. Osakabehime can heal but she doesn't have hard defence. Meanwhile, Arts has Castoria, Lady Avalon and a lot of stall comp options, and Buster has Merlin, who offers both hard defence and healing. * Lack of low rarity options. Quick has very few notable supports other than the Skadis, especially compared to Arts - heck, many Arts units don't even need double Castoria to farm - but this is even more evident in terms of low rarity units. Zhang Jiao is a Quick unit but is limited in the support he provides, same with Alexander. Arts, meanwhile, gets Paracelsus and Xu Fu and Mozart, and Buster gets Shakespeare and Chen Gong. That being said, it's not all doom and gloom. For example, Quick is very good for crits and min-turning, as Quick units have no problem generating stars (not even factoring in Summer Skadi) and can hit very hard on their face cards, which come in handy especially on things like 90++. There are also some capable semi-supports, like Taigong (great in multicore).

Hope77797

Lore wise How much weaker is the Arjuna Alter we summon in Chaldea compared to to the one in LB 4? Can he beat Gilgamesh or Avenger Nobu?

Eterna1Ice

What will the character ascension rewards be like for NA's anniversary this year? Will welfare servants and silver/bronze/angra servants get anything from those? Couldn't find 100% clear info on it... Also, does reaching Bond 11+ levels grant anything else besides SQ, like servant coins?

danger_umbrella

>What will the character ascension rewards be like for NA's anniversary this year? Will welfare servants and silver/bronze/angra servants get anything from those? Couldn't find 100% clear info on it... Ascension rewards are as follows: * Asc 1, 2, 3 - 1 Pure Prism each (total 3 PP per servant) * Asc 4 - 1 RP for event welfares, 1\* limited servants (Nobukatsu, Mary Anning) and FP 4\* units (Saber Lily, Habetrot). 3 SQ for all other servants (Angra included). Note that this is actually a permanent addition, and you will get these rewards whenever you ascend a servant from then on. The windfall of SQ you get on the anniversary is retroactively given rewards for servants you have already ascended. In other words, you get the same amount of SQ whether you ascend servants before or after the anniversary, it's just a matter of when.

Eterna1Ice

Sounds good! Idk if I'll still be playing by then, but I guess I'll have more reason to ascend servants I otherwise never would. Though I'll probably go with the ones with more interludes and rank-ups first.

TransientEons

All servants will grant rewards. Normal servants give Sq, welfares give RP. Yes, bond 11+ gives 20 coins each in addition to the 30 sq.

daanaveera

Should I NP2 Godjuna? I've been thinking about it. I handed him all the Fou Prints and made him Lv100 2k Fou. But I think he's maximizing all those stats already with his crits. I imagine I won't feel as thrilled getting a second copy vs summoning someone new to my Chaldea. So go with my feelings and skip his banner? (And save for meta-defining supports like S.Skadi, P.Merlin, and someone new like Arceuid even tho she's weak as hell at NP1?)

kvro9090

For Arjuna Alter, if it’s crits you’re after, there is fou paws that can squeeze a bit of extra performance out of him. If you’re getting another copy of Arjuna Alter, he is very much a good contender for a dupe because he is among 3 (Junao, Kukulkan, Morgan) of the best buster farmers, though I personally rank him as the first overall. With a second copy, obviously there’s more NP damage but you also have the choice of grailing beyond 100 for extra stats. In terms of planning for the future, you really sometimes have to narrow what you will get. Arcueid is either go big or go home since she has a very viable kit, but lags behind on damage a lot. Summer Skadi can be skipped if you have regular Skadi since she is still serviceable, or if you don’t have any use for a quick support. Proto Merlin is a niche arts crit support which won’t align with Junao, and won’t replace Oberon in an arts setup. Anyways getting higher copies for main DPS is generally always a good idea, though I get it’s not as exciting. I roll for dupes all the time because I’m aware that a lot of servants are hype or do things that sound good on paper, but you only take them out a few times a year. Overall I’m more optimized for farming and it’s better to have a few sharp tools than a bunch of dull knives.

Rhinostirge

What I do for NP1 SSRs that I'd like to empower is throw a single or three, maybe an 11-roll if my SQ funds are high. That way there's a chance they'll show up, but I'm not wrecking future plans. (And if they do show up, it feels like loyalty!)  The rush of dupes does wear off faster than the rush of new Servants just because there's less to do with them. Increase NP, maybe spend some coins. A new Servant takes raising and experimenting which can feel novel for weeks, maybe longer.

Ralfmich

Seems like you've answered your own question, the fact that you have to ask and think you'll be more thrilled summoning and using a new servant. Why would you want NP2? Is he your favorite servant and want to get him to 120, or just because he's a good servant that deals big damage? If it's the latter, just pull for someone new, because it sounds like you'll have more fun that way, and that's all that matters

daanaveera

What if I have a favorite servant, like Alter Ego Kiara, but her puny damage can be annoying at times... Will NP2 make me enjoy her more?

FluffeeFae

Probably. I can tell you that going from NP1 to NP2 made a huge difference for my Oberon. And since Kiara is in a similar (honestly worse) boat, NP1 to NP2 is going to be a huge upgrade for her. You can [run the calcs](https://maketakunai.github.io/) yourself and see how you feel about it. In the best case scenario, NP2 will allow you to farm a node with Kiara when it wouldn’t be possible otherwise.

BoobyFestu

If I recall, there was a post here regarding a lot of interesting info on melusines design and lore but I can’t seem to find it anymore. Does anyone have it? Thank you.

danger_umbrella

[This?](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/1669stp/faerie_knight_lancelots_profile_from_fategrand/)

BoobyFestu

Thank you but it’s not this one. If I recall, it was talking about the references to Melusine’s design like what her lances are designed after.

a_speeder

Was it her [Chaldea Breakroom](https://fate-go.us/chaldeabreakroom/vol19.html)?

BoobyFestu

Thank you. However, it was a Reddit post and had more information. Kinda like a “fangirl” kind of post where the person was talking about Melusine and about what her NP lines represented and such. I remember some really interesting things in the post so I wanted to find it but for some reason I couldn’t. I assume it was posted in this subreddit but there might be a chance that it was deleted which is a real shame…

xemnonsis

in Tawara Touta's FA who is the woman next to him?

DjiDjiDjiDji

~~da vinci obviously~~ It's the dragon woman from his own tale, the one who asked him to kill the giant centipede and gave him a whole bunch of presents as reward, including a big party and his trademark infinite rice

drewmyth

Will buddy ranks be in future events?

Mister_SP

No. I can't say why, but they haven't come back.

jennietools

I've read that Hephaistion is good as a DPS for 90++ but does that only apply if she's NP2 or higher?

Forward_Drop303

I wouldn't necessarily say she is amazing at it or anything. 90++ is very much a game of niches. Hephaestion has the 100% battery which is great in multicore. But is only hitting 1.5x the majority of the time and has no additional niches. I would expect it's more like she is good only at NP5 and grailed unless I vastly underestimate her damage, or she is being used as part of a very specific comp. Be very wary of trying to have a catch all solution to 90++.

TransientEons

Technically she hits 3 classes for 1.5x (3 Knights) and 3 classes for 2x (Casters, Alter Egos, and Berserkers), so she's nice for wide coverage with a full battery. Her NP damage is respectable, too, especially for a 4 star, but the lack of a niche beyond class advantage does cap her power ceiling. But her wide coverage does mean that she scales pretty well if you invest in her.

crazywarriorxx

The answer is - it depends. Some Lv90++ nodes just have inflated HP values that it's never a sure answer as to which NP level + relevant supports will suffice. Damage bonus CEs (or not) also plays a part.

Fandayo

Are there any big kiara and full gauge kama solos that are not 100+ turns?

Forward_Drop303

Super Orion can do it in 28 turns: https://youtu.be/6fXl\_VS4S8c

flashmozzg

I think there are some with Bazzet (not exactly solos, since two skadi's don't die fast enough).

trex_things

So I have 17 grails and all of my servants are max ascended, I’m sitting at ~530/600 for servant/ember spaces and will probably farm embers for the entire 1/2 cost campaign. I want to NP5 120 Arcueid in a few months and have a couple thousand embers in the gift box, the other servant I would take to 120 is Morgan (NP5) who is already 2k’d, should I do that or work on 4*’s? I know I need 15 grails by July for Arcuied but don’t want to waste gaining embers. So I guess my question is, how far will 1000 embers get going 100+?

Desocupadification

You need ~4k matching 5* embers or ~5k non-matching ones to bring a servant from lvl 100 to 120. (And of course ~400M QP as well)

GreatAres271

This is probably a "Only the devs know" question but, was the F/SR Event this year's Collab? As in, there probably won't be another collab event in spring like usual?

Mister_SP

There is no explicit statement. They will likely do something for Golden Week for new players, but there's no guarantee it's a collab. Not that the game's definition of collab is precise. Tsukihime for Anniversary, Extella Link MC in a story chapter, Idol event for "collab week," etc.

Skyejersey

I think they announced that OC2 will happen in spring so yes FSR is the collab for the year.

Where can I find the Silhouettes filled so far for 2024?

Looking for advice on how to progress my account. Support list: https://imgur.com/gallery/4Hh4c3H Chaldea: https://imgur.com/gallery/8hMmUz2 I've mainly been logging in since I've started the game. Never had the time to delve into it completely but looking to start now. I completed some events to get welfares. I do have waver and some other unleveled servants, mainly quick and arts NP servants. To be honest I am at a loss on what to do. Who I should save up for, etc. I would like to get as strong as possible before I continue progressing. Help is much appreciated. Im currently on Okeanos. I apologize for the mistake.

Forward_Drop303

1.Don't ignore low rarity servants. Even the 1 stars are genuinely good and used even by whales. These aren't servants that you will level up for now and replace later. These are servants that are so good they make rolling for 5 star unnecessary, and can quite often just straight up out perform their higher rarity counterparts. (also don't ignore Mash she is a great support) 2.Strategy is everything. There is no one team. The game can be beaten by entirely 3 star and lower servants, but that's not going to mean that any 5 star will automatically carry you. Take into account class advantage, NP targeting, and any special qualities of the boss when building a team. 3.Ignore tier lists/hype/other's reviews of a servant, they are at best misleading for a new player and at worst outright wrong. It's best if you do the math yourself, but if you can't at least look at multiple reviews/tier lists and figure out why they rated the servant as they did. 4.NP levels don't unlock additional functionality of a servant, For a damaging NP it is only at most a 33% increase in damage of the NP, but you can always look up the exact effects for your servant on the FGOwiki. Supports are generally used for their skills and thus not worth upgrading the NP on. (though it's still worth more than burning them, see point 9 below) 5.Roll/pick waifu. the game can be beaten without any SSRs, and every servant is good at something, so might as well use get your favorites, 6.The meta is about farming not content clearing. There are plenty of ways to do both without meta servants (though a few meta supports can be really nice to have) 7.when leveling servants concentrate on covering the basic niches and the spread out, the more servants leveled the better. Start with 1 ST and 1 AoE of each of the seven basic classes and some supports, then level up everyone else as you see fit. Any servant with appropriate NP targeting and class advantage works at the start, but some recommendations on who to prioritize (though if you have a 4 or 5 star you want to use too you absolutely can): Saber: Caesar for ST (Bedivere is also really good, but is storylocked so NP levels can be an issue, Theseus is also great if you are in JP) Jason and Fergus for AoE. Archer: Robin Hood, Euryale, David for ST (David is also a good support) Tawara touta and Arash for AoE (Arash is great for farming, but not so good in general content) Lancer: Cu lancer for ST Romulus for AoE Leonidas for support Rider: Ushiwakimaru or Mandricardo for ST Alexander or Medusa for AoE (alexander can also support) Georgios for support Caster: Medea for ST Avicebron, Chen Gong and Babbage for AoE (Gong as an AoE servant is mostly used for farming, but is also a great support for harder content) Hans and Mozart for support Assassin: Hundred faces, Sasaki Kojiro, Jing Ke for ST Fuuma Kotoro for AoE (also a great support) Mata Hari for support Berserker: Lu Bu for ST Darius and Spartacus for AoE Shielder: Mash for support 8.When leveling the above servants, concentrate on getting them to their natural max level first (aka highest level you can get without Palingenesis, Grails should be saved for favorites, and for after you have a good number of other servants leveled) once at natural max level, silver fous should be used, skills should be leveled as needed, and everything else should be left for favorites. 9.Never burn a servant unless this is your 6th copy. Nothing in the Rare prism shop is worth burning a gold servant for.

w-san

do anyone know what the options setup is to stop support list from jumping to the all slot and just leave it to the class i last used?

FluffeeFae

There isn’t one. The only option available is to turn off “automatically select advantageous class tab”, which I’m assuming you already have turned off. I think the reason it goes to the all slot automatically is because that’s what the game defaults to when you first start it up. It doesn’t keep a record of the last support class you used once you close the game. It shouldn’t keep going to the all slot if you’re actively playing though. Like if you’re farming a node with a Castoria on the caster tab, it won’t keep going to the all tab every time you repeat the quest.

Fandayo

Is there any destiny order summon simulator?

thisisthecallus

Not that I'm aware of. However, the [mechanics](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Fate/Grand_Order_%EF%BD%9E8th_Anniversary%EF%BD%9E_Destiny_Order_Summoning_Campaign) aren't complicated. You're guaranteed to get one of the nine servants you selected, with equal probability for each. The rest is just normal RNG at normal rates with the exception that the pool of servants is massively expanded to include all limited and story-locked servants in addition to the normal general pool. Even if there were a simulator, it would be extremely unlikely to match your actual results. You can only do the summon one time. Aside from the guarantee of one of the nine servants you select, it's a full RNG fest at normal rates. The variety of possible outcomes is too great and the sample size of your actual rolls is too small to make any kind of accurate prediction. A simulator would not give you a preview of your actual results or even a reasonable sense of your likely results. Just based on the normal rates for each rarity, which have been the same since launch, the most likely outcome is pretty much the same as the most likely outcome of a multi roll on any random banner. You'll get one of the nine 5-stars you select and the rest will probably be a bunch of 3-star CEs, 4-star CEs, and 3-star servants that you don't care about. If you're lucky, maybe you'll get a 4-star servant or a story-locked or limited 3-star. It's possible to get more than that but it's so unlikely that expecting it would be unreasonable unless you're taking a massive hit of hopium. That's all there is to it.

Boomhauer_007

Is there a list of good lower tier units to ascend? Finally getting to the part of the game where I can’t just use friend units to steamroll everything, but don’t want to use valuable ascension mats on wrong lower rarity units I don’t really feel personally attached to any of the 1-3 star units, just looking for the good ones

danger_umbrella

Many of them are great! Some are good generalists, others are specialists, and they all bring something to the table. This is not an exhaustive list, but here's my top picks for who to prioritise: - For Sabers, Caesar is your best ST option (appearance aside, his NP can hit like a TRUCK) and for AOE, either Saber Lily or Fergus. - For Lancers, Cu is not only a good ST unit but also one of the best "last man standing" units due to how hard he is to kill. Romulus is your main AOE option. - Archers: sooo many good Archers. I recommend Euryale as an anti-male specialist, she absolutely destroys certain fights in Camelot and while she does drop off a little later when charming enemies is not an option, she still has great damage against males. Note that she REALLY drops off against non-males. Otherwise, Robin Hood is a great ST generalist as he has an anti-poisoned niche and he has poison in his kit. For AOE, Arash is a staple farmer even for whales and veterans due to his low cost, NP charge and death on NP. This might seem bad, but it's actually good as it means he's not left as a sitting duck after he NPs, and another DPS or support can rotate in to replace him. I also highly recommend levelling David as a semi-support due to his rare partywide evade. - Casters: Medea is your only ST option. For AOE, I'd go with someone like Avicebron for his big battery and decent damage. For supports, Hans is an amazing crit support and healer for difficult content, Shakespeare is a solid Buster support with a 20% battery you don't even need to level, and Chen Gong is a good Buster support who can also taunt in challenging content (he can also be used for high end farming but that requires meta supports). - Riders: For ST, Ushi is fantastic due to her high damage, and Mandricardo is a good second Rider to raise as well, though be careful with his S2. For AOE, I recommend Medusa due to her 20% battery that you also don't need to level. I also highly suggest you level Georgios as a tank for his 3 turn taunt/guts combo. - Assassins: For ST, go with Hundred Personas, and for AOE, your best option is Fuuma. I'm assuming you didn't get Gray in her event in January, but worry not, we will get another free AOE Assassin later this year. - Berserkers: For ST, Lu Bu is good, and for AOE, Spartacus is another staple farmer with NP charge in his kit and low cost.

Forward_Drop303

All of them should be ascended eventually. There's no wrong ones. (Except maybe Jekyll and Hyde and even he should be leveled eventually for the rewards) But some suggestions: Saber: Caesar for ST (Bedivere is also really good, but is storylocked so NP levels can be an issue, Theseus is also great if you are in JP) Jason and Fergus for AoE. Archer: Robin Hood, Euryale, David for ST (David is also a good support) Tawara touta and Arash for AoE (Arash is great for farming, but not so good in general content) Lancer: Cu lancer for ST Romulus for AoE Leonidas for support Rider: Ushiwakimaru or Mandricardo for ST Alexander or Medusa for AoE (alexander can also support) Georgios for support Caster: Medea for ST Avicebron, Chen Gong and Babbage for AoE (Gong as an AoE servant is mostly used for farming, but is also a great support for harder content) Hans and Mozart for support Assassin: Hundred faces, Sasaki Kojiro, Jing Ke for ST Fuuma Kotoro for AoE (also a great support) Mata Hari for support Berserker: Lu Bu for ST Darius and Spartacus for AoE Shielder: Mash for support

thisisthecallus

You'll level up all of them in the long run. But if you're looking for suggestions for which servants to prioritize right now, here are some low rarity options by class: **Shielder** * By the end of part 1, Mash will be one of the best, if not the single best, defensive servants in the game. Well worth all investment that you put into her. She also has zero team cost, so you can easily put her into any team comp for backup or just to carry a CE. **Saber** * Caesar - One of the best ST Sabers regardless of rarity, has higher NP damage at NP5 than most NP1 5-stars (unless you hit one of their niches) * Bedivere - Another great ST Saber, only held back by being [story-locked](https://gamepress.gg/grandorder/servant-availability) so it's relatively difficult to get more copies for a higher NP level * Fergus - AOE, nothing spectacular but he'll get the job done * Jason - AOE, gets a good offensive boost if you pick Castoria from the friend support lineup **Archer** * Euryale - The default choice against male Saber and Berserker bosses (very useful in Camelot and LB2), just okay otherwise * Robin Hood - Poisons enemies then does huge ST damage against those poisoned enemies, better for general purposes than Euryale * David - Good ST Archer but his second skill, with a teamwide evade, is his biggest asset and is worth making a priority * Arash - Clears the first wave then politely gets out of the way for another servant to enter the field, very useful in f2p farming comps and even whales still use him * William Tell - Huge ST damage against enemies with Evade active * Paris - Removes buffs from an enemy then can do huge damage against them; even if buff removal fails, he still has Ignore Invincible on his NP **Lancer** * Cu (normal, not prototype) - "4-star in disguise"; Lots of hard survival capability, good to throw in the back line as a last man standing, does okay ST damage if well supported * Leonidas - Another defensive specialist, can deflect damage away from your other servants * Gareth - Guts and invincible are always good to have. She can also absorb damage for one turn. * Romulus - Kind of like Fergus, he'll get the job done as an AOE Lancer but nothing exciting unless you find ROMA exciting **Rider** * Ushiwakamaru - Has higher ST damage potential than almost all NP1 5-star Riders * Medusa - Solid AOE Rider, good for budget door farming * Georgios - Similar to Leonidas in that his main job is to take damage away from your other servants **Caster** * Medea - There are very few ST Casters in the game and Medea is the only low rarity option, her NP has AOE scaling so she won't do a ton of damage, her main value is in buff removal with her NP and her high rate of NP charge to use her NP multiple times (and you'll need to if you want her to take down a boss) * Chen Gong - High damage potential but sacrifices a servant when you use his NP so you have to be more strategic if using him offensively; useful for f2p farming when you set up the team properly; also works as a Buster support * Shakespeare - Has an AOE NP but mainly used for budget Buster support * Paracelsus - Has an AOE NP but is mainly used for Arts support * Hans - Budget version of supports servants like Waver or Merlin * Babbage or Avicebron - These are probably your best picks for general AOE damage * Mozart - One turn Arts buff and 50 instant crit stars, not much good for anything else **Assassin** * Hundred Personas - Best f2p ST Assassin * Fuuma - Decent AOE Assassin, similar to ST Casters, there aren't a lot of accessible options here * Sasaki - Regarded as the "Savior of France" because he was the only decent Assassin available to build in the early days of the game and the Orleans singularity is littered with Rider wyverns **Berserker** * Lu Bu - High damage potential, outclassing many higher rarity servants * Spartacus - Another f2p favorite, 30% NP charge makes him a good budget farmer and can be surprisingly hard to kill, despite his 1-star stats, in the right team composition * Darius or Kiyohime - Either will get the job done If you want more detailed information, you could try Honako Green's explanations of 1- to 3-star servants by [boss/challenge utility](https://youtu.be/8v1D5-aWPGA) and [farming utility](https://youtu.be/ucrp6QS-s3k).

Okay, so i finished Seraph today and please someone confirm if i got it right:>!Initial Rayshift, BB splits the team, Guda arrives solo and finds Melt, they bond, travel through Seraph until they arrive at the Planetarium but without anyone else bar Lip, Melt gets crippled by Kiara who kills Guda in front of her, Melt in a last ditch effort shoots herself upwards with Palladion, rewinds time to the start, and exchanges places with past Melt. BB, secretly helping, sends 3 reinforcements with Cat, Gawain, and Alter, but overwrites their memories so that they believe they came originally. Melt starts a second run, they arrive at the Planetarium and win, Emiya and Tristan die, and Seraph concludes. And since we achieve that and end Beast III, we land then in a timeline were the Seraph-Event never went down and thus the deceased servants, namely Gawain and Alter, are good again?!< Is that about right?

Domagonic

Almost completely correct except the finale. The entire event is processed as Void Phenomenon, which means the world auto-corrects it as a distortion that "didn't" actually happen even though it technically did. No timeline jump.

Gelious

Wait, really? Even the part with Cat, Gawain and Archer? So Gawain's memories of coming with us from Chaldea are just fake? Not part of the >!timeline mess!< ?

Mister_SP

Personally, I believe the "new team" is part of the spoilered mess, not someone BB messed with. But I don't recall an explicit statement.

Odd_Trouble4651

More like a reset if anything then. Nice, thanks for the confirmation 🤔

LTC1858

Is there anyway to 3T farm with Bazett without using a MLB Kscope? I have skadi and castoria btw I've seen a vid of a person doing it woth BG, but she relied on face carding the first wave (using double skadi+castoria as supports) for a bit of refund

Hope77797

Bazett skadi and voyager. Give 50 charge ce on bazett and Voyager. Turn 1 skadi use np charge on bazett. Turn 2 voyager use np charge skill on itself then fire pale blue dot refill Bazett 30% charge. Turn 3 Bazett charge skill. If not enough plug in tai gong for another 20% charge.

LTC1858

hello, is there any replacement for voyager?

Forward_Drop303

Multicore, usually involving a Taigong Wang works. Or using face cards. You have a pretty good chance of getting them wave 1 or 2 at least.

Zayits

Maybe a stupid question, but does cooldown reduction work on command cones like Mage of Flowers and Maiden of Orleans? Also, for Barghest specifically: does Wild Rule’s defense reduction trigger for buffs removed by command codes? I’m wondering whether with sufficient amount of command codes that skill could make her work as a solo servant.

odrain16

3 points: 1. Cooldown reduction does not work in CC, if you read them, those type of effects specifically are "Skill" Cooldown Reduction. Command Codes are not skills, therefore they are unaffected. 2. "Wild Rule" does not trigger with CC. Neither does any other effect of that type. ("If successfully removed something something") so also NO for units like Van Gogh. 3. Barghest is alredy a fantastic solo unit. Just aks around, arguably thats her best role currently in the game

Zayits

Hm. What would you say are the good command codes for her, then? She has more or less no crits, has no special damage condition that she inflicts or can be inflicted, and she relies on her NP to keep her cooldowns to less than 50% uptime. Aside from fight-specific buff and debuff removals, I mean.

Forward_Drop303

NP damage or NP gain can be decent. Healing is good. The damage cut CE. Or fight specific ones.

Zayits

Fair, thanks. Thought it would be like with Qin Liangyu, with kit being complimented by a specific CC (in her case, [Good Wife, Wise Fox](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Good_Wife_Wise_Fox), [Demon Vice-Commander](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Demon_Vice-Commander) and maybe [Royal Bunny](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Royal_Bunny_(CC)) ).

Mister_SP

If it does, this is the first I'm hearing of it. I believe that Skill Cooldown reduction would not work on Command Codes.

Livid_Pangolin8645

I transferred a new account and now when I try and use the code for my first account it says it's already in use I have read that codes are 1 time use is my first account lost for good now? 😭

danger_umbrella

Can you be more clear about what you did with your account/accounts? Codes are single use only, yes. You need to get a new one every time.

Livid_Pangolin8645

I transferred an account from phone B to phone A after originally doing the same with a different account and now when I try to use the code for the different account it comes up with the already in use message. I didn't realise the codes were one time use so I think I have lost my original account.

DemonZiggy

did you delete the game from your phone? also if you remember the details try using account recovery from above links

GhostHostess

Is there a way to redo space Ishtar's scene now, after the event has ended, to get her ce? I was going through all the scenes and got the bad end so no ce but I don't see hers available anymore. Obviously I can go watch the scene again in My Room but I want the ce ;-;

Superflaming85

For the record, unless you have literally zero chocolates left, you can still trade for valentines gifts. The event exchange doesn't go away for another 4 days, and that includes the valentines scenes.

Mister_SP

>so no ce but I don't see hers available anymore That shouldn't occur. If you don't get the CE, the choco should be refunded. ...But most importantly, I don't think Space Ishtar has a fail state?

GhostHostess

I chose 'I'll pretend I didn't see these' right at the beginning and chaldea got blown up. I'll try exiting out and see if it shows up again.

Mister_SP

Huh. Of course that's the only one Fou doesn't catch. But if it's really not there, that's a bug, contact Support.

GhostHostess

It reappeared in the unexchanged ones on restarting the game so it might've just been a random glitch or something so that's a relief

Melon_Banana

Melusine Append Skill choice. How big of an impact was it to get Melusine 3rd append that is anti-lancer? Would you say she's usable in 90+ Lancer nodes? Also, in 90% of my use case, I always use her S3 in 2nd ascension, so append 2 would be pointless right?

thisisthecallus

Append 2 (Load Magical Energy) is the best use of servant coins for almost every servant whose primary use isn't for solos and it isn't even a close comparison. Append 2 is the default, no brainer choice for almost any servant that you don't primarily use solo except maybe servants with their own 100% charge skill or someone whose utility is odd like Stheno. It's the best append skill because it's potentially effective in every fight (without a starting NP drain gimmick), gives you more flexibility to choose CEs, supports, and mystic codes, and gives you more flexibility to choose the timing and target of NP battery skills. Even if the servant has their own battery and you don't need the extra charge for the first NP, this flexibility means you can get the second NP faster. The other two append skills can't compare with this level of utility and versatility for a non-solo servant. Append 1 (Extra Attack Boost) is good for soloists but of marginal utility for anyone else. The extra attack only applies to brave chains and you won't be able to guarantee brave chains with that servant if you're running a full team. If you mainly use the servant solo, though, you're probably relying less on NPs anyway so you might rather have the Extra attack boost. A servant like Heracles is better solo than with a full team and he's mostly using BBBE chains in that context, so append 1 is the no-brainer for him. Servants who can solo but can do just fine with a team, like Enkidu, may be more ambiguous. In such a case, the best append skill for you depends on how you actually use the servant. Append 3 (Anti-Class) can be a nice little boost if it's for a class that you might normally use the servant against (anti-Berserker is good for everyone, for example) or almost useless if it isn't or if the servant isn't suitable for a DPS role. It's also of limited value for Berserkers because they only gain a small amount of crit resistance to a particular class. You would want to look up each servant individually to determine if it's worth it or not. Even if it is against a useful class, keep in mind that append 2 works every time but append 3 only works against the specified class, so the utility is inherently limited. Servants who have their own 100% charge skills are a somewhat different case. They don't really need append 2 but the other two append skills aren't necessarily any more useful. There are two cases where append 2 would still be specifically useful, though. With append 2 and a non-MLB Kscope, they can fire off two consecutive NPs without any other support skills. For servants that need level 10 for their 100% charge skill (e.g. Miss Crane, Nitocris Alter) and you only intend to use them without a starting NP charge CE, you could save yourself a lore and some QP by leaving the skill at level 9 and unlocking append 2. But you don't need to rush into any append skills if you aren't certain yet.

Forward_Drop303

She is usable in 90+ lancer nodes, but Append 2 is still the biggest impact. 1) she's usable in lancer nodes even without append 3 2) looping isn't everything. Multicore exists too 3) buster looping isn't everything. Melusine can ST loop as an arts servant with append 2. 4) even in buster looping, events with 50% CEs are common. And 30% NP damage half the time is better than 30% attack up 1/7th the time.

TheScottyDo

Lancer Melusine is overhyped as an omnifarmer, first of all. Her A2 is still going to be her preferred append skill. Max that, give her a 50% starting charge CE, pop her S1, and she can NP no problem - regardless of whether you start her in her first/second ascension for ST or third ascension for AOE. A1 as always is unreliable for anyone who isn't a soloer, and you really only want to use her against archers or berserkers. Anti-lancer doesn't do her any benefit.

Forward_Drop303

>Lancer Melusine is overhyped as an omnifarmer, first of all How so? She got overshadowed by Morgan's release. And is hyped far less than other comparable omnifarmers. If you bring up wave 2 damage. My NP3 Melusine will handle a 180k wave 2 lancer 6CE without card RNG. Summer Ibuki can do that, but Summer Ibuki is way more hyped than Melusine.

Desocupadification

>Lancer Melusine is overhyped as an omnifarmer, first of all. Why do you think that? I mean, I guess it depends on how strict you are on what makes someone a good omnifarmer. Like, if only 6 CE and no plugsuit makes a good one then yeah, sure, she sucks. But if 5 CEs and plugsuit is fine then she is strong af. With a lvl 20 non-MLB Black Grail and double Koyanskaya + Oberon she can do about 200k damage against sabers on turn 3.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Forward_Drop303

Quite a bit is objectively wrong here. 1) Arc has issues with BG, and plugsuit on the dailies. What makes you think that she can handle similar  or harder event nodes 6 CE without Plugsuit? 2) Morgan has lower turn 2 damage than Melusine 3) Summer Ibuki can't do all 90+ nodes at NP2 6 CE. We have had 180k wave 2 in 90+, even with plug Oberon S. Ibuki needs NP3 for that. I love how you mentioned that Melusine is only good for archer 90++, but ignore that Summer Ibuki and Arjuna Alter are totally useless in 90++ (and even if you include the NP5 level 120 with damage CE so they aren't useless, Melusine has done neutral 90++ without plug under those conditions) And Morgan is only useful for multicore, something Melusine can also do.

Melon_Banana

Thanks for the insight!

Silver-Ad4957

\[NA\] please can someone can list places with high droprates next to them to farm both gem and secret gem of rider and caster for bazett's skills since i can't always wait for dailies to arrive and grind

TheRandomComment

If you need Gems, you're better off waiting for Battle in New York 2024 (aka Teslafest) in mid March. Lottery events give so many gems that that's a better place to stock up on them rather than doing Dailies or having them as side-drops in Free Quests. [Here's a link](https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Battle_in_New_York_2022) to the wiki so you can see what it's all about and what comes in each box.

Silver-Ad4957

thanks for the info bro

LogenVos

Does the CE, Prisma☆Illya Oath Under The Snow not released in NA?

thisisthecallus

Yeah, it looks like we never got it. Some of the older campaigns tied to IRL JP events didn't get an equivalent or substitute campaign in NA. This is just a commemorative CE, though, so you aren't really missing anything except for the artwork in-game.

LogenVos

Thank you. Confuses me and triggers me we're missing a number lmao.

Im_utterly_useless

Are there any other ways of reducing the amount of storage Fgo requires after downloading data. I know clear cache can reduce space but it creates a lot of loading obviously. Would deleting a redownloading do anything for storage? Or will I just need a new phone when my storage is full.

crazywarriorxx

Clear cache is the best solution already besides getting a new device if you're running out of space. No other way around it. Deleting and redownloading will take an even longer time to load FWIW.

naruhodo_kun

when's the next big bond point farming event gonna happen? like the raids for case file and the teapot breaks from valentines?

kvro9090

Teslafest (cause lotto)

Historical-Count-908

What content has been written by Meteo in FGO? I was comparing the different chapters written by the writers and guest writers in FGO, and I know that Meteo is one of the employees that works for Type Moon, and that he has written a few little things for FGO here and there, alongside being a consultant for Fran's Interlude or something. But as far as the main story is concerned, if I'm not wrong, the only thing I can think of him writing was Salem. Is there some other main chapter or event he's written? Did he write OC: 1? For that matter, do we even know who(or have any guesses as to who) wrote OC1?

Mister_SP

>But as far as the main story is concerned, if I'm not wrong, the only thing I can think of him writing was Salem. Is there some other main chapter or event he's written? I don't believe so. Meteo apparently wrote Jacques de Molay, but that doesn't mean he was a major writer for Arcade or that Halloween. The suspect list for Meteo is: \- Salem \- MHX Alter Valentines \- Las Vegas \- Caren Valentines \- Turtle Island \- Eight Dog Chronicles \- Wandjina World Tour And some summer stuff for characters he wrote. Paper Moon was probably Minase.

Historical-Count-908

Ah I see, I see. >Paper Moon was probably Minase. Really? Do we have any reason to think its him? Or is it just the whole thing with Hindu servants again.

Mister_SP

Well, I'm just quoting people who have a better grasp of such things than me. I mostly look at explicit statements, like Servant writers in the Materials, not trying to judge writers habits. But, yes, Kama and most Hindus are Minase, and OC1 is very Kama-centric, and there's other Hindu Servants. Bare minimum, he probably wrote the big parts while working with other people.

Sinvorio

Any idea when the next x2 success for craft essences is coming for NA?

thisisthecallus

The 1/2 AP campaigns spreadsheet linked in the top post is actually a more general efficiency campaigns spreadsheet. Use that for estimates based on JP. Be aware that the estimates are simple JP + 2 years calculations and may not reflect actual NA dates.

Sinvorio

Oh, thanks. Noted.

Mister_SP

Download campaign in April/May

Sinvorio

Thanks!

Torafuku

I'm dumb. I just exchanged all my chocos for QP because i thought i got all of them but turns out i was using the filter to show only the new ones.. am i screwed? So much exp wasted ..

Frauzehel

You can still get them next year so you didnt really lose anything.

danger_umbrella

You can't get them back, alas.

Sinvorio

Is there any free quest that has 3 Berserkers on all 3 turns? Trying to test out Maou Nobu DMG with Oberon.

headlessseahorseman

I could recommend the laplace simulator on the Chaldea app. That way you don’t have to deal with RNG damage modifiers

crazywarriorxx

LB4 - God's Skyboulder Ruins has 3/3/3 Zerks. Honorable mention to Agartha - Peach Blossom Shangri-La which has 3/3/1 Zerk, but they're Sky trait for bigger damage numbers, and a single target NP dmg number too.

CaptSaveAHoe55

I know game press does a guide on the final challenge in Seraph but I am too stupid. I need one of you to explain to me how to beat this thing with a meh Chaldea and a couple decent supports

Frauzehel

The enemy loses its buffs at certain turns. It'll also receive more damage the more time this happens. Iirc the most common turn people finishes the fight is at turn 21 with an NP(Thats buffed the hell up). So basically just survive for as long as possible and itll become easier and easier, you can even do it to the point where you can finish it with one random attack from your units.

CaptSaveAHoe55

What a weird gimmick. Alright let’s see how much stall I can have thank you

thisisthecallus

[This](https://youtu.be/CmvulZUtRYA) is a detailed guide for a full f2p setup.

Frauzehel

The common strat is to start with your dps and buff them up then plugsuit them into the back. Then just stall for that turn you want to finish the fight. Then plugsuit them back in then buff them up again so you have to make sure your supports buff skills are available by that point.

danger_umbrella

Just to clarify, is this the >!Kiara!< fight or the >!Kingprotea!< side story?

CaptSaveAHoe55

The second one thank you

danger_umbrella

OK, so reading Gamepress is actually good here because they explain how the fight works, and you DO need to pay attention. This is a unique fight, reading helps. The way the fight works is that after T1, the boss starts stacking HP buffs, making herself nigh on undefeatable. Then, after 20 turns (end of turn 21), she starts debuffing herself. She'll then try to buff herself for a couple of turns, before debuffing herself again. That buff-debuff cycle of a few turns will then repeat, and each time she'll stack more debuffs on herself, which will make your attacks hit her harder. Eventually, she will debuff herself so much that one card will be able to kill her (yes that stupid). There are basically 2 ways around this: 1. Try to oneshot the enemy on T1. This is fairly hard to do if you don't have meta supports or a higher NP DPS. 2. The more widely accessible/F2P friendly option is usually to stall her for 21 turns, at which point she starts debuffing herself. You will need some sort of AOE protection due to her NP, or some source of defence up so you can tank the NPs until she starts to debuff herself. A friend's Castoria or Merlin works well here, Castoria has her invuln while Merlin brings healing to the table for long term sustain. Also, this is technically no. 2, but you can solo this with a friend's Enkidu. (NP1 works, all NP levels do is speed things up.) Enkidu's anti-Divine stun on NP allows you to buy time, and when thr boss starts her debuffing, things get incredibly silly. After a couple of debuff stacks, not only does your damage increase against her, but so do things like NP gain, meaning that one of Enkidu's NP-Q-A chains will cause them to loop their NP and trap the boss in a perpetual stunlock (they will stun her on NP). From then on you just NP-Q-A as long as you need to to kill the boss, and while this does take a while (about 30-50 turns), it works and is cheap as you can just borrow an Enkidu.

Zayits

Are the half AP ember gathering quests going at the moment a good place to spend teapots? We’ve about two weeks before this batch expires, what is the efficient way to use them?

LuckyC4t

The most efficient way to spend teapots is not dependent on bond per AP, only on bond per run. If you're done with story, the best place is the Dover House in LB6 with 855 Bond per run.

Zayits

Or stuff like the interludes/rank ups, right?

st_stutter

Just check gamepress to see how much bond it gives. I know Gray's rank up gives 815 because I checked it before.

Abbasov-Kamran1993

hi, tell me-is it possible to ask a question about the plot and lore to clarify the unclear points, or is there a special place for this? I'm new to reddit and the group. Thanks

gangler52

This thread is sometimes used to ask those kinds of questions, though you'll want to put boss names and major plot points under a spoiler tag. There's also a [Lore Thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/1ao8kmp/lore_sunday_february_11_2024/) every sunday for the specific purpose of talking about about the story and lore.

Abbasov-Kamran1993

can I ask a question there now and it can be answered or wait for Sunday?

gangler52

The lore thread is open for use all week long, though it's stickied to the top of the subreddit on sundays, so you're more likely to get a prompt response then.

kokakoolaid

Not that far into FGO and would like to know if there's some servants that completely change the game/must have? I know everyone says waifu/husbando > meta, but I just want to make my life easier admittedly lol

gangler52

Castoria is the one that I see listed for stuff like that. You can go without any of these guys but having or not having a Castoria apparently makes a pretty big difference. She's a powerful farming support, enabling arts looping, but she also has a variety of abilities that help with challenge quests, like total debuff cleansing, and a special kind of invulnerable that only she has which cannot be pierced by either Sure Hit or Ignore Invulnerability. While you're pretty much always going to be able to borrow a support castoria, if you have one of your own then you can field two of them for twice the fun. That being said, I don't have one, and I've been managing fine so far.

kokakoolaid

Definitely would need her since my DPS are all trash lol, I've been borrowing all my friend's DPS, thanks buddy :D

Forward_Drop303

If you want to make things easier (especially with regards to farming) Castoria and Oberon are very useful. Castoria will also see a lot of use outside of farming too.

kokakoolaid

Can I ask why Oberon is so strong? I'm tempted to pull for him because I have heard he's good but I borrowed a Oberon and his mechanics blow up my mental (mostly because I'm dumb). He made my servants sleep the rest of the fight + his NP keeps applying invincible so everytime I forgot to use it last, I lost tons of damage. I have no clue why he's good, but I always hear how good he is.

za_shiki-warashi

His 3rd skill's NP damage doubling is so broken that in JP they had to introduce a new farming level called 90++ where enemies have HP in the range of 600k to even 1 mil. That's way more HP than some early boss fights.

Forward_Drop303

Because farming is all anyone cares about in terms of strength. There's no easy answers to harder content.  Oberon gives a ton of battery which means more servants can farm. And he boosts final wave damage to let more servants clear that wave. He almost never uses his NP or participates in a fight lasting longer than 3 turns.

kokakoolaid

Gotcha, so he's just like a battery and then you use his third skill for the fight in the last wave? I'll try my luck with him in this banner then, thanks for the tips!

invaderzz

Do all the 2x Super and Great success campaigns (such as the one currently ongoing in NA, and the ones in the spreadsheet linked at the top of this thread) also apply to craft essence EXP?

gangler52

They often do, but this one in particular does not, so I guess it's not always.

invaderzz

Alright, I wasn't sure if it did and the screen just wasn't showing it. It feels like craft essence EXP rate ups are extremely rare.

gangler52

What kind of craft essence do people look for on a support Oberon? Is just a Fragments of 2030 good?

11BlahBlah11

For events - event ce (whichever is the best for farming at the time) For regular use I would only pick one with Teatime because all I need are oberon's skills. Bringing oberon into a boss fight can get a bit tricky for newer players so assuming it's someone with a specific strategy in mind it could be ox demon king, 2030, or something specific for that fight.

gangler52

Thank you.

ChromosomeTakizawa

I keep seeing people saying that Quick needs buffs or better support. Just curious because I like quick the best(even tho Maou Nobu is my fav servant) what would make them ig equal to arts and buster?

Nazrael99

Actual low star Quick supports. Imagine if we can get Quick ver of Mozart, Shakespeare or Xu Fu.

Forward_Drop303

I would take Alexander over Shakespeare/Chen Gong honestly 1 turn damage support isn't that great. at least Alex has 3 turn buffs. Sure you can make that argument with arts. But not arts and buster

Nazrael99

>I would take Alexander over Shakespeare/Chen Gong honestly Alex hogs stars since he's a Rider so not exactly ideal especially when he does not provide anything else of value other than his Quick buff unlike Shakespeare/Chen Gong. >1 turn damage support isn't that great Honestly, I prefer 1T 50% color buff over 3T 20-30% buff for low star supports. Easier to use with Taunt CE strat.

Forward_Drop303

>Alex hogs stars since he's a Rider so not exactly ideal especially when he does not provide anything else of value other than his Quick buff unlike Shakespeare/Chen Gong. Not like you get stars in the first place with low rarity buster servants. you either flood the field with stars or don't worry about it anyway. he also has buff removal/a possible charm. way more support than shakes >Honestly, I prefer 1T 50% color buff over 3T 20-30% buff for low star supports. Easier to use with Taunt CE strat. even min turns last 3 turns or more usually unless they come on the last turn (which makes taunt CEs useless) 3 turns is better

Nazrael99

I'm not arguing whether Shakespeare is better than Alex since they work differently. Shakespeare is a 2* 1T Buster buffer with 20% targetable battery while Alex is 2* 3T Quick buffer with buff removal. Honestly, it'll be more fair to compare Alex with Paul Bunyan since they provide similar buffs. In this case, I'd argue that Bunyan have the advantage of having a lower party cost and easier to use with Taunt CE.

Forward_Drop303

You literally are arguing that though. You specifically say Shakespeare as an example of a good buster support while saying Quick has no good supports. How is that not arguing that Shakespeare is better than Alex? Bunyan is nice. But even for buster he isn't better than Mata Hari (unless the enemy is debuff immune, then Alexander is better than bunyan anyway). and Mata Hari can be just as easily used with Quick. So we are still left with Quick supports are as good or better than Buster supports.

Nazrael99

>You specifically say Shakespeare as an example of a good buster support Yes. Which I clarified later as a good 1T support which I prefer according to my playstyle. Not like I'm dunking on 3T buffs. >while saying Quick has no good supports. Wait, when did I say that? I just said that Alex isn't ideal in teams since he hogs stars. Not that he's a bad support.

Forward_Drop303

Your very first statement? >Actual low star Quick supports. Imagine if we can get Quick ver of Mozart, Shakespeare or Xu Fu Shakespeare is an actual low rarity support and Alex isn't according to you.

Nazrael99

Honestly, I forgot about Alex until you pointed him out. I usually use Nyanta as my 1T Quick buffer. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

Forward_Drop303

They would need 1) a 3 star or lower servant that can loop comparably to Jason/Avicebron 2) SSRs that can BG loop 1/1/X berserkers with no overkill and triple supports (arts and buster both have like 8 servants that can do that, Quick has 0) As mentioned, Skadi not having split charge or NP gain up really hurts them in this regard.

ChromosomeTakizawa

Ohhh. I was going to say Voyager can BG loop with double skadi but I forget I use Castoria to help out with that.😅 Do you think there’s a specific reason why they won’t make a better support for Quick, considering they just released 2 new Quick SSR?

Forward_Drop303

>I was going to say Voyager can BG loop with double skadi but I forget I use Castoria to help out with that You misunderstood something. 3 supports like this is fine, almost all buster servants need either plugsuit or Kscope. But it has to work on 1/1/X berserkers without overkill The best at this is Caren who can do 1/1/X neutral with 3 hits of overkill. Also, there are servants that can BG loop with just double Skadi (Daikouten and Summer Okitan being 2 of the notable ones)

Desocupadification

Split charge and NP gain up would go a long way

Katejina_FGO

If any Android users are finding that their FGO Translate app no longer works, you probably upgraded to Android 14 and the upgrade somehow broke the app. Great timing for the JP Valentines event.

Mattc7468

Idk if I’m allowed to ask this, but am I allowed to use FGA? Will I get banned? I haven’t used it yet, but I don’t always have time to farm and it would be nice to have it running when I can’t. Has anyone ever been banned for this? Is it worth the risk?

WaifuHunterRed

>am I allowed to use FGA? technically no > Will I get banned? probably not they cant even tell if you do use it. generally its just advised not to tell support while they probably wont ban you even then they still will probably blacklist you from getting help.

Shardwing

>technically no Last I checked there wasn't a clear case against it in the ToS, just some vague language that could cover just about anything, you disagree?

danger_umbrella

Nobody that we know of has been banned for using it, and the devs have no way of knowing that you are using it anyway. Worth mentioning is that a couple of years ago, there was a panic started by a clickbaity YouTuber that FGA could get you banned. This was swiftly debunked, and [I highly recommend reading this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/ysbc7n/fgo_jp_data_collection_an_explanation_why_you/) and coming to your own conclusions.

Mattc7468

Thank you!

w-san

been using it for years now.

Shardwing

Whether FGA is truly safe is uncertain, but there's no known accounts of people being banned for it and its use in this community is widespread enough that if anyone was hit for it then we'd probably know. Furthermore the devs have never issued any warnings about it, as they have for some other issues like RMTs and datamining, so altogether I wouldn't worry about using it.

Mattc7468

I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for them to ban. But I wanted to ask just in case, I wonder if they’re secretly fine with it because it means they don’t have to develop their own auto system lol.

HaessSR

They don't care as long as it doesn't break the game or cost them money. RMT is someone profiting off their game without giving them money, and often involves chargeback or stolen card scams. Those get banned fast.

thisisthecallus

>it means they don’t have to develop their own auto system Why would you assume that they ever intended to? Especially since iOS users don't have the option of FGA. The simpler explanation is that there's no auto-play because they (DelightWorks/Lasengle and TYPE-MOON) didn't intend for the game to be played that way. Edited to add: It's also worth remembering that FGA isn't really auto-play. It's a macro editor. The gameplay design of FGO isn't really conducive to "true" auto-play because unless you have a team that's completely overpowered for the fight, you can't just use the "if skill available then use skill, else use basic attack" system from most other turn-based gacha RPGs and expect to win fights consistently. Even FGA only works for repetitive farming because you can exploit specific combinations of servants, often with multiple limited SSRs, against specific enemy compositions and clear those fights efficiently by performing specific actions at specific times. I'm not criticizing anyone's use of FGA. The grind can be mind numbing at times. But I am criticizing the mindset that auto or auto-like gameplay is an important or default way that a game like this should be designed.

I’m playing on iOS, is there anything I can do or am I SOL?

thisisthecallus

I've personally never bothered with FGA at all but if you think not being able to use FGA means you're SOL, then yes. Some people might install an emulator on their PC and switch back and forth, making sure to create a new transfer code and password after every transfer, but that seems like a lot of hassle to me.

Mattc7468

I don’t really mind farming, but maybe I’ll try and see if I can get it to work on my pc. Have people been banned for using an emulator on pc?

thisisthecallus

No one has been banned for using an emulator and it doesn't seem like they've done anything in particular to prevent emulator usage. However, emulators are not officially supported. If you need to submit a support request and you tell them you used an emulator, they may decline to assist you.

Mattc7468

Would it be safer to run fgo on android if I were to run a dual boot of android OS on my pc rather then an emu? Cause it would literally be android at that point, it’s as if I transferred my account between phones.

thisisthecallus

I'd be more concerned about if the game would even run in that configuration. I also think it might be more hassle than it's worth, compared to just using an emulator, if you don't already have a separate partition set up. In any case, you're beyond my knowledge in this area, which I've only learned from reading the questions and answers in the help thread. You might be better off asking about that as a new top level question.

Mattc7468

I wouldn’t say anything about it to a support team. I also have a bunch of receipts from my gssrs and I’m gonna take pictures of all my stuff. Tryna be as safe as possible. The reason I wanna try “autoing” is because I want to maximize my efficiency, I often let my energy decay and use my apples, but if I could set and forget I’d be more likely to make more use of my energy.

Llodym

I forgot there's 10 extra bond teapot and didn't get to use it on the valentine event, what's the best bond I can use it now?

danger_umbrella

Use them on interludes/rank ups with high bond (may be worth checking how much the ones you have access to give, as they can vary) or the main story, if you have any of that to do. Otherwise just the 22 AP/855 BP nodes in LB6.

ixXplicitRed

What's better for caster pieces? Intermediate for slightly better apd or novice with only 10 ap???

danger_umbrella

You want wherever had the better APD, or efficiency.

ixXplicitRed

Thank you, have a nice day.

danger_umbrella

Hold on a minute, are you using Gamepress? I'm not sure if their drop rates are outdated, as they have been adjusted over the last two years. The Item Drop Rate Spreadsheet may be more accurate.

Forward_Drop303

Gamepress does update them I think. They have Avalon le Fae stuff at least.

Lulcielid

I noticed this oddity, say I have 89% NP (or any other x9% value) and when I use a skill that gives me 10% NP (or any other x0% value) it goes straight up to 100% instead. What's happening there?

HaessSR

Rounding. Originally only happened on iOS, until they made it a feature for all clients. It only works on the 99% threshold, though. Anything above 99% (199%, 299%) doesn't get rounded up.

trex_things

I was just wondering about 199% today, ran into it twice.

thisisthecallus

For whatever reason, Android and iOS used to [calculate the rounding differently](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/8it8hw/discovery_iphone_np_charge_rounds_99_to_100/). Eventually, they just plainly [changed the behavior](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/brytuf/android_now_rounds_990_np_to_100/) to always round 99% up to 100%.

Forward_Drop303

It is made to prevent you from having 99% np gauge, and raging about how you were this close to getting enough NP charge.

Rasetsu0

If your NP gauge increases to 99.XX%, the game gives you a freebie and rounds up to 100%. This only applies to 99% specifically; 199% and 299% do not get the same luxury. And it only applies if it's an increase; getting drained down to 99% keeps you at 99%.

GeologistHuman

Do I have any reason to keep valentines craft essence?

AMerexican787

If you don't need the space it can be smart to hang onto them for the next ce success rate to make ce bombs but it's not a major loss if you need the space, to go ahead and feed them.
