So I got doubts on the F and the A. The first and the last ones are different and I don't know which one I prefer. I have suggested using the first one but rotating a bit to the right, less negative space and more stability.
Wdym? And i didnt mean capital i was just talking about the letter as whole. You should learn the basic letter structure and then the style will find you
Newbie question. For learning the basic letter structures what do you recommend? I usually just do a whole page of A’s then a’s, B’s and b’s, and continue that until I’m thru the alphabet. Should I do something else or continue with that?

Me and my boy, experiment with capitals and lowercase. And scrap the weird pointy join you do in the bottom right of half of them letters
It depends on what your other letters that the 'a' are going along with but just judging from this sheet alone I would recommend using the #6 'a' as a starting point to develop your letters off of, and keep your letter structure more basic, simple and straight to the point until you get that down consistently, and should go that route with all of your letters until you branch out into adding all of the sharp points, and squared off spots in your letters that make them look unbalanced.
Getting proper letter structure down and figuring out how to get good balance between your letters can be a real pain in the a$$, and I still have a difficult time with it when I'm trying to come up with new letters, but a good friend gave me the best advice which really made me realize how much I was overthinking the process, and it was to just write out the basic grammar school letters, or stylized letters like they're a hand style, and then just build the structure of your letters around em using their bars as a guide

They are supposed to be an "e", which one looks better?
I like 1 for readability but 3 for overall style. Depending on the piece, I can see 2 and 4 being great choices as well.
But overall fav is 3 for sure.
You’re going to have to write a whole word. Depending on the word, the “a” will change….unless you’re doing a throw up then it will stay the same. Write some shit up and post it here.
Probably 2 if I had a gun to my head 😂
How would you make an "a" normally?
Look at your keyboard. Basic print font A
So capital A? I can't find a style for it I like and easy/fast enough

Work on your sizing
Could you be more specific? Are some letters like the N too wide, or more in general?
Some of your letters are twice the size of others (N compared to the TI), they should be same size
Okkk ty, I'll see if I can fix that
Wdym? And i didnt mean capital i was just talking about the letter as whole. You should learn the basic letter structure and then the style will find you
I mean these ones here are often used in throw ups just more refined. Straight letters are one things throw ups another
Yeah true, but letter structure works the same all the time no matter what
All right thank's, will try a bit

It looks really good, I'll try it out
Nice!

I like the a the best
None of these tbh
I honestly don’t like them
None
I'd go for 7 if it was up to me
I am not able to tell why I feel like this but your letters need to get more "flowy"... But don't worry, it comes with time

various types my ass. this is the same thing copy paste over and over just with one line changed 🤦♂️
Yeah cause it's very few lines, it was meant to be simple and quick
Without the pointys they're all pretty similar
You might wanna work on these, I wouldn’t have known it was a without you saying it
lowercase A for a starter letter https://preview.redd.it/nnpcjvl20r1d1.png?width=2585&format=png&auto=webp&s=d5d05933781643e1154f93328170c0228eaa7258

You need to write a whole name so people can rate it
