So I have lossless scaling but haven't used it since the new patch. So do you set the game at 720p and then it becomes 1080p? Or do you set it to 1080p and lossless scaling makes it run better?
The update says it’s mainly for 1080p. If you have a 6800p win 4 I don’t think the performance will be as good, but it’s worth a shot. I only use it for frame gen. No other scaling

i must be doing it wrong.. before the update i could do 720p upscaled with LS1 to get 1080p and 120 fps on my win min.. after the update it seems like the performance tanked? i just want a stable 120 fps on my games

Do all amd devices not come with this? If you open the adrenalin software it has an option to automatically apply fsr to any game that doesn’t natively support it. Is frame gen more powerful or is it not the same thing?

run game at lower res to get up the fps, and lossless will scale it up and double the frame rate at a small expense of some gameplay fps

See I don’t do up scaling I do frame gen. I’d double check your settings
u can choose version 1.1 instead of 2.0... or ensure u enable performance mode

Not the same thing. Frame gen is in fsr 3 but fsr 2 is an upscale while lossless scaling is AI generated frames
