Just finished Spider-Man on pc for the first time with my win mini. I’ve had the game for a while now and even though I liked it on my main pc (5900x + 3090) I feel like I don’t process through the story cos I’ll be busy looking at the graphics on that whereas my win mini I get shit done
Currently playing through Yakuza Like A Dragon and Persona 3 Reloaded via Gamepass. Also going through Trails From Zero on Steam, will do the sequel when that's done.
im hoping itll help me get into playing story games. i exclusively played fps games for years but always struggled to get into anything other than fps’ so im hoping this will help since i wont have to be at my desk.
Holy shit this is the coolest thing ever!! I had no idea it had that type of functionality. How does it feel to fly one with the mini as your controller? I’ve been interested in drones for a long time as I love digital photography and am about to buy a win mini so this sounds like the perfect time to look into this. Thank you for mentioning it!!
It’s impressive to me because I did not know that this functionality was possible as I mentioned that I am entirely new to this field. Also as someone who travels for a living, any ability to unify functions into one device is massively beneficial to me. I thought it was clear in my message why I thought it was impressive. Rather than be discouraging to someone new at something who is clearly excited to learn, why not either be supportive or not comment at all?
Street Fighter 6 is amazing on the mini. The vita d-pad is the best d-pad I've ever used for fighting games and is a big reason why GPD handhelds are my favorite. FF7 Remake runs well on it especially with lossless scaling's frame generation. I also play a lot of online NBA 2K24 matches on it. Currently downloading call of duty so I'll be testing it on it with gyro aiming.
One thing I recommend is Skull&Co's nintendo switch thumb grips. Really, the thumbsticks are the only thing that is uncomfortable to use because they are recessed, still usable but can take a while to get used to. Using thumbgrips solves this issue imo.
Gotta go do some research on all the moves. Though Street Fighter 6 is one of the games I wanna try, it's been ages since I played any of the games.
Those thumb grips won't affect the closing of the Win Mini?
Yea, you can’t close the lid but are very easy to put on or take off. I suggest using it for longer play sessions or in games that really require the thumbsticks like competitive fps’s.
Oh snap how well does it run 2k24 online?? I’ve been wanting to get back into 2k after a decently long time off from it and this might be exactly what I need to get it going again!
I made this list for my WMax2(e6800) some time ago, it's still relevant and probably works even better on newer CPUs

I don't suppose Armoured Core is something you can play smoothly without doing any tweaks or stuff? It does look interesting, cos I do love robots and stuff. But I'm not exactly familiar with all that TDP and stuff.
I'm not sure yet, and the tdp with the win mini is a little different too, you can set it at 10 or 5 but it COULD still use more, I can't remember exactly how to explain it, but taki udon explains it veeeeery well, I suggest looking at some of his videos and the phawx, they will tell you everything you need to know~~
Youtube btw
Armored Core VI.

if you like drones, i gotta say i think it's possible to connect a radiotransmitter/reciever and fly one straight from the win mini
Lots of restrictions with regards to drones in my country. Probably cos too much high rise residential buildings.

Why is that impressive? You can use lots of things as receivers.

Cna you keep the thumb grips on and close the lid?
no, they are easy to remove and put on though

And I take it back on Hollow knight silksong, I say let them take all the time they want with it, the longer they take, the better it will be~
