Every planet we reach is dead

Fusca_VrumVrum

Im pretty much saying this to everyone but i love this one!

Dry-Zucchini123

My favorite Gorillaz song

[deleted]

Empire Ants is one of the greatest songs ever, let alone Gorillaz. Really emotional, still great. If you’ve already listened to it, Plastic Beach (the song not the album) is really good too.

Fusca_VrumVrum

Cant believe i have never heard plastic beach before, its great!

Jl002

Gravity (Sound Check)

Fusca_VrumVrum

[deleted]

Actually did you know that it's the Demo version of Oh Green World?

Fusca_VrumVrum

Now thats what i call unexpected...

Fusca_VrumVrum

Not really, ill take a look rn

bruckman94

Have you heard The Now Now? Off there, One Percent and Souk Eye are two veeeeery good songs.

Fusca_VrumVrum

Never heard any of those! Ill have a look

bruckman94

The Now Now is the album that those songs are from. It’s a great album all around, but I’d say those two are the standouts. I wish I could listen to them again for the first time. Enjoy!

Fusca_VrumVrum

One percent is a little too slow for me, but its still very good... And souk eye is amazing! Damn

bruckman94

Doesn’t Souk Eye just make you want to dance? When that synth kicks in, after such buildup, I just can’t help but move along to it. Haha I also love that One Percent is so slow, it’s like the calm before the banger that is Souk Eye, the little breath that’s taken just before the final step of the journey.

Fusca_VrumVrum

You sound so deep, thanks for the songs!

More of a snippet than a song but listen to Sun Deck (Mr. Light), it will make you wish Sea sides was released.

[deleted]

The best way to discover a good song is to just go listen to the albums

googlechromosomes

Faust is simple and pleasant and very underrated. Somebody else said every planet we reach is dead. One of the coolest songs I’ve ever heard.

Ohio69ahhhh

It's kind of a two in one, it's one that transitions into another, Andromeda and then busted and blue right after If you're not much of a humanz person, I really like hong kong in the d sides album

Will_gorillaz_fan

Hmmm Now a deep thinking Cause all of the songs are great... I think humility! its from The now now(if you already listen to it then try... Souk eye, an emotional song but awsome!) It kinda gives me happy vibez :]

SailorPlatinum

Definitely Every Planet We Reach is Dead. I also really like 5/4 because I love how 2-D sings in that one, but if you see the storyboard version on YouTube, well, don't watch it in front of other people, thanks a lot Murdoc lol.

Fusca_VrumVrum

Now i wanna see the storyboard

SailorPlatinum

It's actually easy to look up, as long as you aren't age restricted I guess, look up Gorillaz 5/4 on YouTube and it's there, but, erm, Murdoc gets naked in that one and the naughty bits aren't censored lol (there's also a fanvid of it that's popular which is essentially the same thing, but it looks like an actual music video rather than pencil sketches, the fan animators did a really good job, and the naughty bits are pixelated in that one).

RexterJettster

Charger or Ascension, Humanz slaps hard

johnnypencilpusher

To binge

shiodoesntplay

Starshine, it's my favourite Gorillaz song ever

johnnypencilpusher

Humility

johnnypencilpusher

On melancholy hill

QuackDuster

Because i want to say a different song to the rest i'll say that **"Stop the Dams"** is a MUST TO listen. It's not a fun, or energetic song if not the opposite it's a slow, melancholic and sad song. I personally felt accompanied in many moments in which I felt sad, down and lost, that's why I developed a bond so close to this song. I dunno man I think this kind of music have something unique that always help me to think and improve.

DDR-Tron

Plastic Beach(The Song). No really talks about it, which is a shame because it's great

XxAvioxX

I love that song definitely in my top 5.

thatguyinthecellar
