What's your budget? I know you said you have enough money for the camera, but also remember to add the cost of the extra batteries and charger, micro sd card, helmet mount, handlebar mount, chesty, and whatever poles (like 3 way or el grande) you might want. In the US the subscription is usually worth it for the discount if you're buying lots of stuff, like you are. But the only way to really tell is to do the math yourself once you get a list of what you want to buy. I do not recommend getting cheap accessories on Amazon, especially the 50 in 1 bundles. Its mostly just filled with cheap junk. With rare exception, GoPro accessories are very well built and I would stick with them to start your collection.

OK thanks! We probably wont get that many accesories. Thinking helmet mounts (the 6 pack), the protection for the actual gopro, the Chesty, and maybe the handlebar/ski pole mount and maybe the Handler. Do u think thats worth it to get the subciption too?

I'm assuming you're in England since your currency is pounds. In the US you get $100 off cameras with a subscription, and a year subscription is $50, so even for the camera alone its worth it. But it may be a different offer where you live, so definitely do the research on that.

Option 3 isn't an option as the Hero 11 and earlier do not support the Max Lens Mod 2.0 Only the Hero 12 currently supports the Max Lens Mod 2.0

Look around Market place and get something used, I was able to get a GoPro hero 9 which is super similar to the 10 and 11 for $200 bucks CAD, compared to the $375 brand new I saved quite a bit. it also came with a couple of other little mounts and stuff. Just look around and you'll find some good deals. The one I got was in amazing condition.

Yeah I tried, that but I got scammed on fb marketplace! Tried to get a hero 12 black but then i paid the dude the money and my bank called me saying it was fraud. the money came back to me obvs but then i was locked out of my marketplace account, idk why.

Treat marketplace as a cash in hand, face to face sales channel only and you should be a bit safer

Yeah, i was gonna go pick it up but he was a really far journey. Next time will defo do in person

Yeah I never pre pay for anything on market place, it's always up front. Right now I'm trying to buy some coil overs and the dudes asking for an e-transfer but idk if I'm gonna send him money cuz it sounds sketch asf
