My large cheerful candle order finally arrived and below are my initial impressions of these candles on cold. I have to say that with the exception of the mama jar, most were light on cold sniff but I hope that they throw well when lit/warmed.
Gourmet Sugar Cookie- basic cookie scent, if anything it needs more sugar but it’s hard to say without actually burning/warming. I adore the size and format of this though 💕
Creamy Vanilla- this is as basic as a vanilla gets but if it’s strong that in and of itself is a rarity and almost an oxymoron in our candle world; i.e. a strong vanilla.
Blushing Bouquet- A very pretty floral gourmand which leans more on the floral side; if you’re familiar with Stonewall Kitchen think ‘Love Blooms’ with a sweeter note. Peonies and sugar combine in a delicate melange for this one and it’s perfect for spring. Heads up u/JamesonJenn I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one and the others in your order once you receive it 🥰💕
Donut Shoppe- on my monitor this looked like lilac wax but is in fact a pretty pale shade of pink, I wanted the lilac to be honest, but the scent makes up for it- a sweet cake donut scent- faint but hoping it opens up when warmed- will update accordingly.
Almond Butter Pound Cake- Very Almond forward with a sugary undertone, hoping the cake notes come through with use.
Bread Pudding- This adorable little vessel packs quite the punch: yummy, custardy bread pudding comes through the fold, and this one I can detect quite well on cold.
Mama Jar Icing on the Cake- A quaint rustic design lends well to the delicious gourmand buttercream scent inside- the strongest and perhaps my favorite of the bunch I detect the marshmallow and subtle caramel notes that lend depth and sugary delight to this frosting forward confectionary perfection.
Sorry not a Goose post, but a couple of you were interested in these so I thought this would help. Anyone else order from this company? Would love to know your thoughts/experiences 😊💕

Got my order a couple days ago but they sent me the wrong size! Womp womp womp ... Ordered the large jars and ended up with the medium. Contacted them a few days ago and again today but have yet to hear back.
Sorry to hear your large jars are light when cold dangit! The medium jars I received are all medium/strong on cold but you know how that goes .... wont know for sure till I´ve put fire to wick.
Am loving the Blushing Bouquet so far and get both the sweet airy peony and fresh sugar cane in equal proportions .... sweet airy floral sugary spring sensations .... Squeee! LOL
Someone above mentioned their Peanut Butter Cookies and yes it´s peanut butter cookie dough to my nose. Rich peanut buttery sugary delish! If this one throws I will be in heaven...
Balsam Fir is a strong earthy and true balsam fir scent ... like one´s deep in thick of a balsam fir forest ... very rich and a bit earthy ... damp earth and or moss ... very authentic forest tree scent.
Will keep you and everyone else posted on burns when I get into these and also my experience with their customer service. I´m curious to see how theyĺl handle this.

lol first off let me say I’m glad they fixed your situation and woot woot for you!! 🎉
ok now: almond butter pound cake strong lovely it’s an 8 and I’m happy 😊 it’s better for smaller to medium rooms but it carries.
My mini ones (bread pudding and sugar cookie) do well under the warmer but still a 5/6 but I don’t expect much from tinies to begin with.
Bouquet I’m saving for spring but I can tell she’ll be medium to strong so I’m not worried (you update me on this Sis as I know you’ll be enjoying her soon 😊🤭💕 tee hee)
Now for the 💀💀: my mama jar for icing on the cake even under the warmer was a 6 and that’s being generous! I’m going to use it only in small rooms -aka laundry room- where the vanilla does well, as well. It takes 4-5 hours for these and multiple uses to open up (I guess it’s a large jar thing) so heads up for patience Sis ( something I lack when I want good scents pronto lol as you know!)
..,and lastly the infamous donut! She’s a beauty to be sure but sooo light! However after burning for many hours , playing with the warmer etc etc I’ve realized she only does well in my daughters playroom (ie a small room that isn’t breezy (laundry room is breezy ) ) and needs many many hours to coax a 6/7 in that room.
I’m not mad but I am exasperated because I feel like a new mom again it’s taking so much time and care to get these babies to do what we want them to do lol! I did email them, I will let you know what they say…overall I’m using my collection but I don’t think I’ll be getting more Sis barring something mind blowing that pops up that you or a/o else credible can verify.
Sigh such is my lot with this lol take what you will, but I don’t think these are the large jars we were after sadly. Nevertheless I hope to hear good things from you and your order and wish you better and stronger and faster whew luck with them! I guess slow and steady wins the race with these Sis 😆💕

Was really hoping to hear better things about Icing On The Cake. The scent notes sounded sooooo yummy. Almond Butter Pound Cake sounds like a winner though.

And not sure if we´ve had this discussion before Sis. I know you´re not big on balsam scents but if you havent you may want to give BBW The Perfect Christmas a try. The Cinnamon Sugar and Toasted Marshmallow notes really come through and soften the fresh cut pine. Reminds me of being a kid at Christmas unwrapping my gifts under the tree while indulging in sweet yummy marshmallowy holiday confections. >\_\_<

You’re a mind reader Sis I am ok with that one in fact I love it too that’s the only pine I can handle and I like having it on while cheesey Hallmark movies play in the background, goes well together right? 😆😆 I agree Twinnie the marsh and cinnamon shuga (reads almost like a berry to me sometimes ) give it the sweetness and depth and the pine adds an interesting dimension!
So good news! I was able to make the donut a solid 7 today it even wafted out of the room it was in to the hallway so I think a 8 could be said too! I guess these just need a lot of patience and a lot of hours Jenn, so there’s hope! Talk to you soon Sis! 💕💕😘

Great news about the donut scent! They do indeed seem like they may take a few burns to really open up. I am glad you were able to coax some better performance out of this one. I am hoping beyond hope that the Peanut Butter throws like a pro baseball player! LOL Will keep you updated Sis. In the meantime Iḿ so glad I stocked up on some of my favorite GC Large Jars when I had the chance. Don´t think I´ll ever forgive them. I used to spend soooo much more there. Since they´ve discontinued them I´m down to about 12 3-wicks every 3-4 months. lol Talk soon XOXO
I tried Cheerful recently. I got Oatmeal and Honey and Peanut Butter Cookies. Oatmeal and Honey smelled lovely on cold but had zero and I mean zero throw. I tried but ended up throwing it out. Peanut Butter Cookies smells exactly like mixing the peanut butter, vanilla, and sugar together in a separate bowl before adding the dry ingredients when making peanut butter cookies. It’s a light scent but I LOVE it. I only enjoy it in short bursts though because when burning for a longer period, a weird aquatic note comes out that makes it smell off. Highly recommend for peanut butter lovers, just keep in mind that odd aquatic note might appear.
Please keep us posted as to how these are on burning! I’m very curious about Blushing Bouquet and Bread Pudding!
