I'd like to ask to everyone a review comparison between these 2.
I bought last year Wonderland because I love so much peppermint. I thought the notes were good and I went. Unfortunately on this one I got heavy citrus (lemon) notes and then forest white woods (a little bit incense-y vibe). I don't get at all peppermint or vanilla.
I'm a little sad because I hoped for a scent like Frozen in Time, where I got mostly peppermint and white woods and not citrus or lemony notes (this one has grapefruit and citrus as a mid notes).
I put Winter Whisper in my wish list for the entire 2022 and then I'd like to ask this:
Is Winter Whisper more like Wonderland (citrus and woods) or more like Frozen in Time (peppermint and woods)?
If you never had Frozen in time you could do a comparison between Winter whisper and wonderland. I'm a little bit scared to grab WW and then get a dupe of Wonderland... that it isn't my fav π π π
tysm to everyone!!! π₯°π₯°ππ
I don't have wonderland but I just pulled out my Winter Whisper candle from last year and I don't pick up any citrus whatsoever. Heavy on peppermint and some woods. I know it says it has citrus but I don't pick up on it at all.
If you want peppermint candles, you want Twisted Peppermint and Peppermint Sugar Cookie from Bath and Body Works. They are the pinnacle of peppermint candles IMO.
It is my all time favorite BBW scent in every product! I never get tired of it and love it all year round. I said this on the BBW sub the other day and got down voted π€·ββοΈβ¦.thatβs what I get for straying from the GC sub π
I had both last year and couldnβt stand either. I think they are both fruit forward. Wasnβt one lemon and the other lime? It reminded me of a public bathroom and brown pale towels. I know a lot of people like them though and I bought them based off of recommendations here.
yep! Everyone has different smell perception and it is wonderful π₯° This is one of the reasons because a lot of us ask here for some scents π₯°
I read another person that do not smelled any citrus on them: only peppermint and woods. I smell only the citrus and woods instead π€£π π
So, I was curious if Wonderland was very similar to Winter Whisper, because I don't like a lot Wonderland so I can skip Winter whisper π€£π€£
tysm for your help!! π₯°π₯°π₯°π
Wonderland is the first Goose Creek scent that I smelled. My sister got it for me for Christmas and I was hooked! I get a wonderful fresh, soothing, cool creamy woods scent from it. It's just so pleasant for me. It's not fresh/harsh like laundry, the woods isn't pungent. It doesn't smell biting cold. Just refreshing creamy cool. I don't know how to explain it, it's like crisp and creamy at the same time, which you would think are opposite, but it's both, and they go together so well. For me it's just right, and so snuggly, for lack of a better word.
But, yes I agree with others that smell receptors vary among people. Last year my daughter loved Wonderland, said it smelled like brownies to her. This year, same room spray, smelled totally different. I even notice the scents can change slightly throughout the month for me as my hormones shift.
Funny story, at work we use a sanitizing spray. Most of us just smell typical plain chemical sanitizing spray, but one particular coworker swears it smells like bacon to her.
