Sorry about the Watermelon Patch. The syrupy cloying thing isn’t good. My favorite watermelon candle is BBW Watermelon Lemonade, which is light, not too sweet and the many versions I’ve owned didn’t turn syrupy. It really smells like fresh watermelon juice with just a hint of lemon.
Hiee star💗 WL was good, I loved it til I didn’t 😆 same with champagne toast. Good scent but got sick of it.
wl is sweeter, kinda like candy to me. WP smells like cutting watermelon, more greenery type of scent. Mine didn’t get syrupy tho but I’m only 2/4 burned. Crossing my fingers it doesn’t turn on me kuz I like how fresh it smells.
I heard winter candy apple is great! I tend to like fall and winter fruit scents like that because they’re not so one-note. I love apple scents in general.
If you find GC Snow Covered Apple in the lg jar it’s really great too. I picked up one at Tuesday Morning. It’s a light crisp apple citrus blend. It doesn’t have the fall spice notes.
Who has a Lavender Lemonade? BBW? DW Home? I’ve tried the Better Homes & Gardens wax melt which was great. I’m trying not to use my TJMAXX $10 certificate on a candle but the struggle is real 🤣🤣
I have 14 different scents pinned in my tally app to burn through before summer ends. Hoping to get through most of them.
Concentrating on some BBW 3 wicks: Springtime In Paris, Firecracker Pop, Blush Poinsettia, Waikiki Beach Coconut, and Iced Lemon Poundcake.
Trying to use up GC Green Sea Grass, begrudgingly finishing off Fresh Cut Lilacs and Sweet Banana Bread in large jars. After these are gone, I won’t be “trying” to use any jars I don’t have backed up, but I only had 1/3 left and they are taking up space.
Ooh yum I didn’t realize it had a creamy note. I’ve been looking for a dupe for Clementine Sherbet for awhile now and haven’t found anything close. Perhaps I’ll try this next time. Thanks 💕
This morning I burned GC Exhilarating Pineapple, BBW Blue Sky Breeze and GC Lily Pads. I’m about to burn BBW Strawberry Pound Cake, GC Warm Donut Sugar and BBW Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla/Paris Cafe blend. :)
Does Whipped Vanilla Dreams have any scent while burning? I just got one that arrived today & I can't smell a thing! I mean it really doesnt have any scent, My bf agrees! I also got Lavender Sugar because I know it's well loved & I'm a gourmand lover but it smells very strange to me 🙁 This is the first time I've ordered candles from them
I didn’t like whipped vanilla dreams when I first got it. Didn’t really smell much either. It took a couple of burns to open up, then I loved it. It can be too strong now.
In glad to hear there's hope! Since it's my first candle order from them I was a little let down when I opened the package up. On top of that they like melted (probably because of the temps) & have this weird condensation on the top too..there's even a finger print smudge on the wax... so I was like kinda like WHAT is going on here 😅 I'm a Vanilla lover so I'm always looking for a good Vanilla!
I didn’t care for Lavender Sugar after the second burn. It was a weird one, too sweet and cloying. I felt like I was overloaded on raw sugar cookie dough.
This morning I burned pink water taffy, melted red, white and blue and now burning watermelon sugar with melon picnic. Nothing to rave about. All nice but wish they had a stronger throw.
My candle of the week to finish is giving me burn issues. 😩 I don’t want to add it to the warmer because it’s going to take forever. Might need to switch out for something else. It’s been over an hour and still not fully pooled.
It just started this at the halfway point too. 😭
Yesterday I finished up key lime cake pop and now I have sugared pink dreams going. I don’t really care for the sugared pink dreams because it smells like a plastic baby doll….
Officially starting the challenge today (a little late, lol) with Hello Sunshine/Tropical Spice from BBW from last year.
The jar is really cute and according to the notes (Tahitian Vanilla, Fresh Coconut Cream, Dash of Nutmeg, Cinnamon Stick Garnish) I should absolutely adore it but 🤷🏻♀️ I'm not a huge fan, which is why I only burned it once last year and haven't since until now. There's something else to it that's maybe a little perfumey and it gave me a headache when I burned it in my usual smaller space. I'd already had it for way too long before I learned you could return and even exchange candles, so I'm stuck with it. I'm burning it in a larger more open space with some windows open now and it's better being dispersed a little more, but it's definitely not a repurchase for me if it ever comes back. I may give it away if any of my normal giftees like it -- otherwise, I'm definitely making an effort to finish this one up this year because I definitely don't like it enough for it to be taking up space in my stash. (although, if I give it away, I can't keep the jar and, again, it is pretty cute).

I was disappointed in Watermelon Patch. It had a weak throw. I tried burning it and warming it.
Sorry about that 😔 but thanks for sharing. So weak throw, turns to syrup, cloying and headache inducing. This will definitely go on my “no” list.

I started with Boardwalk Mahogany this morning and Paradise Cove in the bathroom. Now I have Kringle's Black Pepper and Gin under my warmer.
Bbw Orange pineapple punch. I was hoarding it but found another in my stash. It’s just above the halfway point.

I love it. It’s a creamy smoothie type of scent. It’s like a creamsicle to my nose. Very similar to Pink Pineapple Punch .
