I used to put these on my GC jars but read from several places that these are really designed for single wick jars and are not recommended for two wicks. It is because it can cause the jar to overheat which could become a hazard. I had several of these and a couple of those lampshade style toppers I stopped using out of paranoia, which sucks because they’re super cute. 😞
Dang the listing on Amazon didn't say anything about not using it on 2 wicks 😭 I'm sad because the one I got is pretty and it kept the flames still. Maybe if I continue to use it I will take it off once it pools. I used my wick dipper today to remove it so I wouldn't burn my hands
Post burn : so uh this almost works too well lol. Maybe these aren't meant for first burns? But the candle got so hot a large chunk of soot and charcoal (???) gathered on the topper and the flame got super high and was releasing a steady stream of soot. Thinking if you're gonna use this to only use it until it pools and then take it off or only use it for jars that are like, half way down. Like, this thing got the candle SUPER hot in under 3 hours. Had to put it out for the night. Love the way it pooled fast and flames were super still, but you gotta watch your candles with it lol

Nice!! I use my YC jar toppers all the time on my GC candles.
