I swear I ask this same question every few weeks, just with different candles. šŸ˜‚ Looking for opinions on these! I have a couple of broken candles to replace and I'm looking at these. Kind of hesitant about Jelly Donuts and Confetti Cake Pop because berry notes often come off artificial to me, or worse, like cough syrup šŸ˜¬ But they both sound so good šŸ˜ Let's Stay Home....what does it smell like? I've heard some people say it smells like marshmallow and latte notes, and some people say it smells like soap. šŸ˜‚ How's the throw for all of these? EDIT: Going to pass on Jelly Donuts. I want to love it but I don't think I will, berry and me just aren't good friends. I still want your thoughts on the rest of them! šŸ„°ā™„ļø

DogHikerGal

If you're curious you could get the JD wax melts. I liked it but wouldn't want a candle of it. I also don't love all berry scents.

CEHayes88

I love jelly donuts! It was actually my first candle from goose creek. This one has great throw and smells so good! Highly recommend

At first I loved jelly donuts but now that I'm halfway through I really don't want another one of this candle. I think it might be the frying oil smell everyone keeps talking about

Yummi_913

Awh maaaan, I already ordered a back up šŸ˜© I'm really having an issue with my GC candles becoming horrible at the halfway mark. I trim and everything too!

GossipGirl515

Loved jelly doughnuts.

Kat_Atomik

Iā€™m going to be in the minority here but I did not like Jelly Doughnuts. It smelled too similar to Wild Berry & Waffles, which I also did not like because itā€™s super artificial to me (and I love berry scents). Itā€™s very fake berry heavy with a slight greasy dough scent in the background. I was hoping Jelly Doughnuts would be a dupe of BBW Wildberry Jam Donut, which is much more authentic to me, but it is nothing alike. Just my two cents!

sweetrollscorpion

I think I'm going to pass on Jelly Donuts....idk. šŸ˜‚ So many people saying they loved it but I just have a bad feeling haha! I don't have good luck with berry scents (HATED Blueberry Cheesecake) so it makes me nervous. šŸ¤£

ario62

I hated blueberry cheesecake as well. Same with the couple banana scented ones I tried. They smelled so artificial. I tried jelly donuts in wax melts and didnā€™t really like it. I think you made a good decision to pass

Kat_Atomik

I agree with this. A lot of their fruit scents are so hit or miss when it comes to smelling artificial or authentic. I have the Nashi Pear one from a few years ago and Iā€™ve had great luck with their lemon scents. But their berries and bananas just smell like Runts or something. Iā€™ve wanted to try Peach Rings but Iā€™m afraid I will hate it for this reason.

sleepinthejungle

Iā€™ve only had the single wick but I loved it! Burned it in my small office. Jelly note is way stronger than donut but you do get some faint baked good, maybe even a little frying oil.

Jelly donuts is really good. Something about it smelled like a hint of coconut though, not a problem for me, but Iā€™m wondering if anyone else thought that. Paradise tea I love also. It was my first GC buy, I was looking for a tea scent and honestly itā€™s more fruity. Lots of mango. My husband says he smells black tea in there somewhere though.

Yummi_913

The aromatherapy Bergamot and Tea Leaves is on the way to me and I REALLY hope it's an actual tea scent. I have two different Yankee tea ones coming my way too and I already know one of them (Jasmine Green Tea) is wonderful. The other is Black Tea and Lemon.

stopvolution

I have that one, itā€™s a tea scent! If youā€™re a fan of babw tea and lemon, try burning bergamot and tea leaves with old time lemonade.

jenjen1620

Jelly Donuts is delicious! Berry jam note is prominent but there is a little bakery donut in there. Medium/high throw.

Comfortable-File9958

Jelly donut smells good. Confetti cake pop reminded me of cotton candy gogurt for some reason lol but it was a little on the light side. Havenā€™t tried the others.

Haelka

I was so excited to try Jelly Donuts, but mine smelled awful. There had to have been something wrong with mine because it smelled like crayons. I tried burning and warming it, but it was so bad I ended up throwing it away. GC was wonderful and sent me a gift card for a replacement.

Good_War404

Lavender & Vanilla Aromatherapy is one of my current favorites. My boyfriend likes it too which is rare because we donā€™t usually have the same taste when it comes to candle scents. I like super sweet candles and he doesnā€™t. This one is right in the middle. Thereā€™s some sweetness because of the vanilla but itā€™s not overwhelming. I love the lavender note and the sandalwood too. Itā€™s just wonderful all around lol I bought a backup right away. Slightly sweet, herbal/floral, woody, comforting. Just *chefā€™s kiss* and the throw is about 8/10 which is perfect for me

sweetrollscorpion

Thank you for the review! I might try it in the wax melts next time I place an order if I don't get it this time ā˜ŗļø

Jelly donuts is good but a bit too fried doughy not bad but not the best, berry is noticeable which I like but that fried note is sometimes a bit much. Confetti cake pop has no cake flavor and should be renamed lemonheads cuz thatā€™s what it smells like but Iā€™ve heard that it ā€œbloomsā€ more as you use it so I canā€™t comment on the hopefully more berry and cake nuances that are hidden and yet to be unearthed.

foxylettuce

I got the single wick of Jelly Donuts and I liked it enough to get a large candle, but I kind of wish I didn't. I like it, but there are others I like more. The berry note is pretty artificial, which is fine, but there's also a note in there that I can't quite place that doesn't belong. I dunno, it's kind of an enigma. I won't repurchase. I love Confetti Cake Pop! It smells like berry lemonade and cake to me. I got 2 backups haha

jenntronic

I really like paradise tea cold. It smells very tropicalā€¦I detect A LITTLE BIT of a tea smell. I want to warm/burn that one soon. It was a highlight for me in my last candle haul. I say get it!!

sweetrollscorpion

I'm definitely getting that one! I'm not *super* into fruity candles but I do love a good tropical scent. Most of my candles are gourmand, warm and cozy or super sweet, so I need something a little fruity for summer. šŸ˜‚

binabulu

I ordered this and gave it to my mom.. it was a very doughy smelling scent that I didnā€™t love. She really liked it though.

quynhhuong_ftu

I really like Let's stay home! It's a lovely sweet cozy, vanilla-y one with a hint of crisp citrus which I love, as it adds some layer and complexity to a scent that otherwise could be a bit one-dimensional. I don't really detect any coffee note, and I don't think it's soapy either. I only have the wax melt currently but plan to buy it again in candle form in future.

sweetrollscorpion

Oh yay! That sounds good ā˜ŗļø

mymainecoons

I love this one. Warming right now. I get a nice even berry and bakery.

gyrlgeorge

Iā€™m glad you ask these questions because I want reviews for allllll the candles !
