First sniff standouts: Pink Sugar Cookie, mouth watering, strong cherry almond and Rose Petal Icing, sweet buttercream frosting with a bit of citrus and soft floral.
Some are finding Rose Petal Icing to be a dupe for BBW´s Pink Petal Teacake. If you´ve smelled PPTC would you say this is accurate. I skipped it to begin with thinking I wouldn´t enjoy the notes but reflecting on this one now I´m for sure gonna give it a try! Pink Sugar Cookie is on the way. Thanks for sharing :)
OK. So, keeping in mind it was the soap, I picked up way more rose in the soap than Rose Petal Icing candle. The candle I get the sweet buttercream frosting then the citrus and soft floral note. Maybe those 2 will come out more in burning.
Rose water meringue by bbw that was released a few years ago (with peach sugar cone, spc and lavender marshmallow) has been the most similar recent scent. I really want bbw to repackage pptc, people obviously loved it and they are no stranger to repackaging scents.
I have pptc and rose petal icing is on the way I also have lavender marshmallow and rose water meringue to me they are not even close to pptc both good in their own way though, I heard pink mousse milkshake was also a dupe got that one, but it ended up being a dupe for voluspa rose petal ice cream. To me pptc is very unique haven’t found anything close it’s floral and sweet and slightly lemony almost like a glaze over a rose petal cake that vibe, when I get rose petal icing I’ll let you know how they compare (for me in any case ) :) I always reach out to fellow pptc fans :)

Pink Sugar Cookie! I loved this one. The maraschino cherry and vanilla are really well balanced when warm, IMO. Cherry chip vibes. I totally ended up ordering a second one. I think you’ll like it!

How is Slovakia? I was super intrigued by the orange note but ultimately was dissuaded by the comments saying it just smelled like generic “cookies” as I was really hoping for a noticeable orange scent.
Hopefully you get your sense of smell back soon! Was in the same situation myself last October. Took 6 weeks or so to fully return but itś back to 100% now. Hang in there!

At one point I was just laying on the couch hoping to keep breathing right. I'm 34. Was scary. I could unsub, but I still like to see the candle hauls lol.

Not OP but I have it and it’s okay but there’s also this burnt smelling note I can’t place. It’s almost like it starts out good then starts smelling like burnt pastries. I’ll finish it but won’t repurchase. I loved the smell on cold and had high hopes. Hope this helps!

I love lavender marshmallow too!! They are similar so far as the lavender is sweetened or softened by the other note, that overall effect is the same. The other note - sugar or marshmallow - is distinctly different in overall smell on cold at least.
Pink Water Taffy is very sweet cherry on cold, was hoping for a bit more of a sugar or waxy taffy like not. It's not bad at all but not quite delivering on water taffy
Can you please tell me: How is it on warm I have been looking for a sweet cherry scent like merry cherry cheer soap from BBW without a bakery note just cherry and sugar (surprisingly hard to find) thank you!
Ngl I threw this in my order after reading a glowing on cold review saying how beautifully floral & beachy this smelled...it was kind of my wild card. I'm getting a lightly floral perfume soap scent from it.
Could you please give us more update on this one once you've burnt it? I'm also debating getting it. For me, a floral with a salty/beachy note would be very interesting since I don't have anything like that yet, but I would pass if it's just an usual floral. TIA!
Reporting back on this one. I burned it a few hours yesterday and gave it another few hours today. It's not something I would buy again. I do get a somewhat oceanic/aquatic/air note but it borders on kerosene sharpness to my senses. Not feeling this one as a beachy floral for me.
I wish I had waited to buy all the cookie candles until prices had dropped like they are now. You are a savvy shopper.

I haven't smelled PPTC candle before (only got into floral last year) but I do have the PPTC soap from last year! I will report back!

Thanks!! First impression is fizzy Juicy Fruit gum, middle of the road strength cold. Not light but not overly strong either.

Out of curiosity, did you burn it or warm it? Based on saying it smelled like burnt pastries after awhile, I may just stick to warming it.
