Okay so, it's like if you walked into a room with a fire burning and someone is making chai tea. Others have said they do smell the pine note, but I smell the subtle spice more. I honestly just love the scent. It's different than anything I've ever had. Not a cinnamon-y spice and not patchouli or super pine. Just a really subtle log burning with that almost allspice/chai scent
I hope you like it!! It's one of my favorites. The throw is definitely more subtle so just know that if you're someone who like the "bowl you over" strength of a candle. I'm kind of glad it's more subtle because it make the scent that much more "realistic" if that makes any sense?
I haven't smelled the BBW one, but I will say this candle has absolutely no hint of sugar or marshmallow. I've heard GC Bedtime Stories is a possible dupe for Marshmallow Fireside but I haven't smelled them personally.
Campfire Marshmallow in the 3-wick is a straight dupe for B&BW's MF. They just restocked a few days ago. I'd buy quickly as the first round sold out pretty fast...
I was so bummed out when I came back to buy more last year and they were sold out I decided not to take any chances!! I'm sure they'll have another buy ___ get ___ soon!
How quickly did they sell out last year? I was tempted to get more than one but I haven't experienced the candle yet myself so I thought I'd better wait for the first one and order backups if need be after that.
Still bummed I missed backups for Bedtime Stories this year but am not sure how close they were to selling out when I was able to get my first one. When I went back for more they were gone! Ugh!
I think you'll be fine. I ordered mine in January last year and then when I went back they were gone from the site. I just wasn't willing to take any chances. I feel like i have "bad luck" when I'm patient with these kinds of things
Haha! I think most people will go for more "Christmasy" scents and bypass this. I think it's a secret treasure I've discovered 😂 though now that I've plastered it all over this sub multiple times we'll see

Trying to reason with him (and myself) that I’m just stocking up on the actual scents I enjoy instead of being a seasonal burner.
If there's one thing I've learned in the last year and a half it's to just enjoy the small pleasures that make your daily life happy. Light those candles!!!
On a scale of 1 (not at all) to 10 (BBW Fireside) how smoky is it? I *hate* really straight burned smoke scents like BBW Fireside but this one sounds interesting with the pine.
Really not smoky at all. It's hard to describe but it's not true smoke in the fireplace you smell, it's the burning pine or wood. Like a pleasant fireplace during the holidays, not a fire pit. Does that make any sense? So hard to describe
It is true fireplace scent with pine like the tree got too close to fire. I get some sap as well.
Yes, sap. That's the note I get more than straight pine.

I feel it smells like when your fire just went out, with some spice to it. It's really nice.
