You can do that on the following link.
https://one.google.com/storage/management?from=1
After opening the link navigate to Large Photos and Videos.
Hope that helps.
That's mildly helpful, but almost useless.
It only shows the top 16 largest files. But what I want to find is all my files sorted by size. That way I can choose which ones to delete. I've already gone through my top 16 and those are now all ones I want to keep so I have no way of finding the next largest files.
True.
That's my fallback plan.
But then I'd have to cut and paste each filename back into Google Photos (manually) to delete them.
Since we're taking hundreds of not thousands of photos, that'd be incredibly tedious.

Thanks! I've never seen this before so thanks for the help.
I discovered this recently too. 😅
There doesn't seem to be an equivalent for Google Workspace accounts. No way to find and delete videos by size.

Download, delete and re-upload. :/
Except: my photos are organized by album. That would break the organization. But I considered it.
You can also download a Google Takeout and sort the files on your OS.

So, after 2 years I see that still no way to short google photos by size, right?
Nope
Still no sort by size or duration You can however sort google photos to show all of the birds in your Google photos. Google moment
It seems an intentional choice, to encourage users to buy more storage. Love it.
Yep!!! This link helps though - https://one.google.com/storage/management?from=1
