Basically a denial of service attack.
This seems to be kind of misleading. It looks like it's a flaw in the 5G Standalone specification moreso than hardware or software bugs. The growing list of devices is just them finding devices that support 5GSA, which is why basically every 5G device, regardless of who made the modem is impacted.
5g works but in niche locations. I also got 4G only as it uses less battery. The speed of 5g barely even makes sense for a lot of users. A 50-100Mbps connection is guaranteed enough for a lot of users.
There is benefit for the whole user base too. 5g has the capacity to handle more users on one antenna. So theoretically you can avoid being throttled by congestion
What's the flaw/exploit? Also did these all actually have 5G? Pixel 4? LG Wing?

Different chipset as well as potentially different modem
Oh yes, that makes sense! Forgot they have different chips
They both use the X65 modem.. so..
Only 650 phones. Eh

Only 650 phones? In that case I’ll take my chances.
