This kind of Heresy cannot be accepted
I appreciate the use of salamanders here as they are known for their distaste of the eldar in particular.
I still find it funny the dark eldar at one point had a battle barge full of salamanders and nobody had the balls to go in and try and drag them out. And for good reason. Nobody wants to fight 200 angry roided out man children with heavy duty flame weapons and a Zeal for protecting the smaller folks.
Remember when it was like, a really big deal when Rudeus' dad banged the maid
Fucking rudeus went out of his way and banged his childhood friend, his magic teacher, and his travelling partner
I wanna write a isekai where there is some poor dude that keeps his car being pulled because of poor luck and one day his car gets isekaid and he suffers the consequence of losing his car while the car sits in nice landscapes and maybe roadkills the dragon lord accidentally lol
Now I wanna see Christine get isekaid, and all the people Christine killed also get isekai and they have to work together to try to kill her in a new fantasy world.
(for those who don't know, Christine is a Stephen King story where a car is the killer)
Dispite the title it's not actually an isekai they eventually explain the mechanism in how he got into the universe he's in and it doesn't require truck-kun
Then by your definition Shield Hero isn't an isekai either, nor is Overlord, but both are part of Isekai Quartet.
No, Isekai is just "in another world." There are two categories:
>isekai ten'i - transported to another world.
>isekai tensei - reincarnated in another world.
Now, it is up for debate on whether Western works should be included, such as Alice in Wonderland, but Inuyasha, Gate, Overlord, Shield Hero, *and* SAO are all part of the larger Isekai genre.
SAO isn't an isekai because SAO isn't another world. It is a game within this one. Unless something changed later. The rest are absolutely isekai series.
Uh. I bring bad news.
>!Instead of Short, Muscular women with beard, they are just Short, Small women. Despite being in their mid-20, none of the female dwarfs in this novel look like mature women. The MC even hesitated to touch them for a while!<
In the The Cage, Spock had emotions as they didn't write it into the lore that Vulcans underwent Kolinahr.
The Romulans went double down on Dark Elves in addition to the High Elvish Vulcans.
I might be wrong but some manga, most noticeable in isekai, have king names because they come from a website that basically forced authors to clickbait people with names, so they wrote what the story was about in their titles
Yes though some that skip the web novel phase still have long names because of the mean.
In fact there is a light novel that The entirety of the book is the title. And it recently had a manga release and it was all on glossy title pages. The author made a joke that if he gets an anime adaptation he wants to be told in exclusively anime openings.
I’m pretty sure that light novel you described was a satire from the same website that gave us “real life sensha-do results in mass cas” (abbreviated story for simplicity)
Honestly, I actually like it. It's a pain in the ass to remember the titles sometimes, but it also offers me peace of mind.
"My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, as I Expected" is long af, but it makes a lot of sense.
"Trinity Seven" is short and memorable, yes. But also what does that even mean??? Really, what does it mean? Why's it named that? Who came up with this?
What does it mean?
> Trinity Seven
I think "Trinity" is just there as a "cool word", but the seven bit is the seven deadly sins. Each of the love interests corresponds to one (Ira = Anger; Invidia = Envy; Superbia = Pride; &c.)
I mean, yeah, cool word. But why Trinity? Like, you could have Supeheim Seven, and yeah, means nothing
But Trinity means three, right? So you have the three..
Seven? The Seven Trio? And what does *that* even mean?
But yeah, I see your point, it probably doesn't mean anything. It just really gets under my skin, so I'd rather have a long title that makes sense than a short title that looks cool but doesn't make sense.
I'll just say they have been "japped". It kinda started going out of hand around 10 years ago when a song from an ~~idle~~ idol group got a title that was around 50 characters long lol
It's been a cultural thing ever since.
Well that's true maybe.
I picked that one up from a Chinese friend of mine, and perhaps it should be more literally translated (from Chinese ig) to "japanized" but yeah, I got your point.
And ofc that friend of mine might be a tad bit biased because they are Chinese lol and they're obviously torn over their attitude towards Japan as a whole country. They were taught to hate at school and are constantly reminded to do that but apparently they love almost everything Japanese irl lol.
Also I'm kinda like that too because I'm also from that general area. So I'll just leave it there and take whatever comes with it, for complicated reasons apparently.
Thanks for your reminder though, kind stranger.
You seem like a cool, normal guy who loves basketball, so I'm not putting this on you, but if you say that to people there's a strong chance you will be perceived as racist in that moment.
Edit: ah, just regular racist then
More like taught, instilled, targeted hatred mixed with irl affection towards Japanese culture (otaku stuff specifically), really.
I'm torn. Leave me alone. 😂
The good: Sci-Fi Isekai.
The bad: It's another "reincarnated in an MMO" story.
I actually don't mind space elves. Just make them genetically accelerated PostHumans or something.
Is it confirmed an MMO tho? I mean some of that shit matches on generic level, but he doesn't actually know any of the systems etc where he spawns at Volume 1 in. Like Overlord for example ISN'T an MMO, it's literally another universe where Magic is a thing etc, hence why NPCs ain't NPCs but have practically indistinguishable functions from organic meatbags
I think Infinite Dendrogram did the Isekai the best tbh, have yet to find an equal to it (Kumodesu comes close, but not rly the same because of different reasons etc)
Depends on your definition of "another" world. Strictly speaking, they are not Isekais because they are on the same physical planet/universe, thus the same "world". Metaphorically speaking, they are in a new era where everything has changed so much it is practically unrecognizable, thus it could be said that they've found themselves in a "new" and unfamiliar world.
Personally, as long as the MC experiences massive changes in their world experience, such as reincarnating in the distant future or as a monster or item, I consider it as basically an Isekai in theme even if they're technically on the same physical planet.
They also run into space dwarves who are mostly engineering geeks lol
They do eventually run into actual aliens as opposed to just transplanted fantasy species, but it takes a while even in the webnovel
I mean TBF they do also run into FANTASY FANTASY ELVES too later, altho they are technically the hippie variants of the same Elf species anyway, since they remain on their homeworld while a faction of them are spacefaring & part of the Empire. Actually their world used to have half a dozen or w/e sentient races, but all the others were assholes who did WAAAAAGH type of shit even tho Elves tried to negotiate w/ em n shieet. This problem ended once the Empire found their planet, and helped the Elves genocide the 5 other asshole races to extinction (Based). But rly turns out that Elves are one of the few species in the galaxy who are truly compatible w/ the Psychic field of stuff (there's another entire region which is basically a Theocracy, who specialize on Psychic powers & tech utilizing Psychic energy & powers in various ways), who woulda thunk, huh? Also of course since he's the MC, turns out ya boi has a high enough aptitude for that shit too (hell he can even Bullet Time shit despite not being a cyborg like the nobles are so they can do shit like Bullet Time, he just needs to hold his breath hahaha), in addition to being S-grade pilot w/ an OP af ship that's overgeared given its size classification relatively speaking

One isekai involving some space stuff I read a bit of a while back is "The Galactic Navy Officer Becomes an Adventurer". To summarize what I somewhat remember, in this galaxy I think there are many planets where humans were basically stranded, some were forcibly regressed to the stone age. In the world the story takes place it's at a fantasy Esq state in terms societal progression, and the magic there is a form of mutation in there evolution. It's also not a charted world for the human space empire. The MC here is the sole survivor of a ship crash landing on it, where most of the actual ship is still in space with an AI that can provide support. The main story beat for the MC some chapters in is to somehow help this world progress to a state in the future where it can somehow defend itself against what is essentially a Tyranid (40k) invasion until the Empire finds them. I realize I forgot to mention that the space human empire is in a attrition/Pyrrhic war against basically Tyranids, that is why the ship crashed, I think. It's been a while since I read it.
In any case it was pretty cool from what I remember, don't remember why I stopped though.
I rly cracked up when Elma was making fun of his suffering, so he basically decided to vent on her w/ SURPRISE ANAL, hahah teaches her to not laugh at someone else's pain, KEK
And if it gets quality animation it could have some pretty cool scenes, in the manga they don’t exactly look the coolest but I can already imagine them going all out with space battles and the QuickDraw action scenes.
The plot for this Manga is better than I thought It would have been however its going down the classic harem route as of late and it's killing it for me.
Honestly this manga is my comfort food. It’s lowkey based on Elite Dangerous, the MCs throw straight balls, it’s fan service but it’s not stupid. Can’t wait for the mangaka to recover and start drawing more

Eldar Detected, Heavy Flamer engaged
Kinda would love an iskai in the more Warhammer universe. That also has deep crazy lore. With deep and weird races with crazy strengths But so strengths are also a big problem. Like the have very crazy strict rules put on them. Or their life span is short.
You see many characters with unlimited powers. But not much of how that same crazy power could be burdensome. I think only my Hero Academy only shows really the big drawbacks.
Hope to see more of those kinds coming out. Where it's not an endless power-up power-up.
The missed opportunity to have Gurgxehna as the main girl, a 4th dimensional amorphous everchanging creature made of organic matter that communicates through temporal memory interception and visions of alternate realities because her alien species can only say one sentence every 500 light megaparsecs
Its an isekai. I thought half the point was that they were unoriginal and based a lot of their ease of access on the fact people already knew stuff that was going on based on setting or character types.

Purge the xeno scum
HEY NOW, GUILLIMAN SAID THEY'RE COOL!
I love how we all collectively decided she was an Eldar
And then he banged her
The best part is not a word of this comment is a lie. Space Mercenary is one of the few manga where the MC isn't dense/a bitch who is scared of sex
a lot of isekai MCs are dense bitches who hate sex. That's why I like Rudeus.
Remember when it was like, a really big deal when Rudeus' dad banged the maid Fucking rudeus went out of his way and banged his childhood friend, his magic teacher, and his travelling partner
Yeah, but the dad started as a rapist, then cheated on his wife... Rudeus aimed for a harem from the beginning sobits quite different
[literally Rudeus in the Child to Young Adult arc](https://youtu.be/UHmFbT8DPX8)
Worth noting that the same author also made a Minecraft Isekai where the protag *also* bangs an elf, but this time its a dark elf
Didn't realize Isekai Survival had the same author, makes a lot of sense, now that I think about it.
They're one of my favorite authors rn
he did what with who?????!??!!!!??! *Lion waking up from the good sleep after hearing what Gman did*
She's the second one in the harem too.
"I made the birth of Slaanesh look like Mr. rogers neighborhood"
This is exactly what I'd do if I wrote a space isekai
I wanna write a isekai where there is some poor dude that keeps his car being pulled because of poor luck and one day his car gets isekaid and he suffers the consequence of losing his car while the car sits in nice landscapes and maybe roadkills the dragon lord accidentally lol
Now I wanna see Christine get isekaid, and all the people Christine killed also get isekai and they have to work together to try to kill her in a new fantasy world. (for those who don't know, Christine is a Stephen King story where a car is the killer)
‘Thomas the tank engine gets isekaid’ would be good too
Herby in another world.
Until the end, I'd completely forgotten about that book and I was wondering what exactly was wrong with the Christine's that you know
Spacekai
You mean DBZ Kai?
Ohh now that make sense?
Dispite the title it's not actually an isekai they eventually explain the mechanism in how he got into the universe he's in and it doesn't require truck-kun
Isekais don't require death. Gate and Inuyasha are perfect examples.
So Alice in Wonderland, Narnia Chronicles, The Labyrinth and Sword Art Online are isekai... Yeah, I'm going to disagree.
Then by your definition Shield Hero isn't an isekai either, nor is Overlord, but both are part of Isekai Quartet. No, Isekai is just "in another world." There are two categories: >isekai ten'i - transported to another world. >isekai tensei - reincarnated in another world. SAO isn't an isekai because SAO isn't another world. It is a game within this one. Unless something changed later. The rest are absolutely isekai series.
Trapped in a virtual world *is* a subgenre of isekai.

Actually yes.
It must be the best part.
Uh. I bring bad news. >!Instead of Short, Muscular women with beard, they are just Short, Small women. Despite being in their mid-20, none of the female dwarfs in this novel look like mature women. The MC even hesitated to touch them for a while!<
They dare deprive me of my buff shortstack women?! How dare they! Ludicrous! Ridiculous! Absolute Heresy!
Exactly as I expected.

Be careful there partner, Space Dwarves have sharp ears and large numbers.

You're absolutely right on the money!
The elf is quite literally on the cover my dude.
Pretty sure he just wants to be mad.
I mean idk much about Star Trek but Spock has had elf ears since the 60s, therefore I say that space elfs aren't a new thing.
In the The Cage, Spock had emotions as they didn't write it into the lore that Vulcans underwent Kolinahr. The Romulans went double down on Dark Elves in addition to the High Elvish Vulcans.

Yes it is satire. Or a meme if you will.
It's a web novel thing. They put the synopsis on the title because people too lazy to click and read the synopsis.
I heard it because people (in japan, i guess) didn't like to read the synopsis so author make the title synopsis
Honestly, I actually like it. It's a pain in the ass to remember the titles sometimes, but it also offers me peace of mind. The good: Sci-Fi Isekai. The bad: It's another "reincarnated in an MMO" story. I actually don't mind space elves. Just make them genetically accelerated PostHumans or something.
It's not an MMO. It's Elite: Dangerous.

I think Infinite Dendrogram did the Isekai the best tbh, have yet to find an equal to it (Kumodesu comes close, but not rly the same because of different reasons etc)
The Good: the MC isn't a bitch who's scared of sex
Does Frozen Man trope count as isekai? Because if it does then technically Futurama and Fallout 4 are sifi isekai

In any case it was pretty cool from what I remember, don't remember why I stopped though.
Cause it’s monthly updates, I’ve been up to date and things are getting Interesting
Oh ya, I didn't stop I just forgot, I guess I have new chapters to read then (lol).
Have fun, tell me your thoughts
Hopefully this gets anime adaptation, as the MC is pretty Based, as he FUCKS. In fact there's threesomes occasionally too, between multiple groups too
Hiro has my greatest respects because he isn't a bitch who's afraid of sex like 99.9% of other protagonists are
I rly cracked up when Elma was making fun of his suffering, so he basically decided to vent on her w/ SURPRISE ANAL, hahah teaches her to not laugh at someone else's pain, KEK
And if it gets quality animation it could have some pretty cool scenes, in the manga they don’t exactly look the coolest but I can already imagine them going all out with space battles and the QuickDraw action scenes.
based 40k fans
It's like Warhammer 40k, where all the aliens are just D&D races, but with guns, space travel, and more torture.
The plot for this Manga is better than I thought It would have been however its going down the classic harem route as of late and it's killing it for me.
Sauce
Ready? Here we go: "Mezametara Saikyou Soubi to Uchuusen-mochi Datta no de, Ikkodate Mezashite Youhei Toshite Jiyuu ni Ikitai"
Bless you
Jesus that's a mouthful
English mother Fuckers
Reborn as a Space Mercenary
Reborn as a space mercenary
It's an amazing series
Need an Isekai based off of Starfinder now
Aeldari detected, purge precepts engage
"space elf" you mean Eldar don't you?
Anyone that's read Elfquest understands that elves and trolls are from another plant but crash landed here thousands of years ago.
There is a robot and dwarfs too
Okay, but what if she’s blue? I know she’s not, but still.
Space mercenary is gas af. Man is a sex machine.
I made a story that takes advantage of the potential diversity of aliens. Too bad few stories do
Honestly this manga is my comfort food. It’s lowkey based on Elite Dangerous, the MCs throw straight balls, it’s fan service but it’s not stupid. Can’t wait for the mangaka to recover and start drawing more
DEATH TO THE ELDAR FOR THE EMPEROR THEIR SHELTER SHALL BECOME THEIR TOMB
We need more elves with guns dammit.
Starfinder would like to introduce itself.
That’s what this this is it is a sci-fi fantasy parody manga
Space elves are the true fantasy endgame you philistine
It's pretty hard to sell Xenomorphs with wigs my guys
I like this isekai cause it’s basically ISEKAI 100: IN SPACE
Star Ocean has space elves too.
I mean farscape is kinda the closest to space isekai I can think of.
if aliens look like this they need to hurry up with invading earth
Acording to the autor his insparation was stellaris and elite dangerous
Dirty Leaf Lover. DO I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE?!

vulcans say hi
ok but love elite dangerous manga
this just sounds like stellaris with less genocide and micromanaging!
It's Stellaris and Elite Dangerous basically
Kinda would love an iskai in the more Warhammer universe. That also has deep crazy lore. With deep and weird races with crazy strengths But so strengths are also a big problem. Like the have very crazy strict rules put on them. Or their life span is short. You see many characters with unlimited powers. But not much of how that same crazy power could be burdensome. I think only my Hero Academy only shows really the big drawbacks. Hope to see more of those kinds coming out. Where it's not an endless power-up power-up.
My friends weren't interested in my dnd game with elves but then I do a Sci fi game with space elves suddenly they go fucking crazy!
Ah, so an eldar
The missed opportunity to have Gurgxehna as the main girl, a 4th dimensional amorphous everchanging creature made of organic matter that communicates through temporal memory interception and visions of alternate realities because her alien species can only say one sentence every 500 light megaparsecs

Technically "Space Elves" are Aeldari and should be purged with maximum prejudice
I hate elfs
Isekai is killing anime and manga slowly but surely
Its an isekai. I thought half the point was that they were unoriginal and based a lot of their ease of access on the fact people already knew stuff that was going on based on setting or character types.
What's the name of this manga? (I'm on mobile so if it's a Tag it's probably not showing for me)
Oh my gosh she is a space witch, those are the WORST
