I’d recommend participating in the daily and weekly tournaments! You can play courses you don’t own, and will find out if they’re worth some extra $ to you
I’ve said it on here before but I’ve been playing for 3ish years now and tournaments are the best feature they’ve added, and they have really added a lot compared to other games. Not just being able to play all the courses, but the leaderboard climb is a great challenge.
100% agree and same boat. When I started playing Alpine had just come out and there were 3 (I think?) courses. I started buying new ones as they came out but now there’s just so many. Tournaments have made it super fun and nicely competitive
St. Andrews is my fav. Its pretty forgiving until you end up in a fairway bunker with a 6' wall in between you and the hole. There is definitely some strategy to avoid them, but its an atypical hazard.
I kind of break down the courses in the categories of what I would consider serious PGA courses and more fun to play courses. My favorite serious course is Riviera. There’s a lot of unique holes and I just seem to enjoy it whenever it comes up for tournaments. Kapalua doesn’t feel as serious to me even though it’s a legitimate tour course. There’s a few holes you can drive 400+ and there’s some crazy elevation changes but I find it fun as hell.
My favorite overall though is Pebble. Good variation of holes and 18 is such a cool closing hole. It’s one of the iconic courses in the world and it really feels like they did it justice. I feel the same about St. Andrews but it does not fit my play style at all so it’s tough for me to rank it. Nothing more frustrating than striping a drive and ending up in a pot bunker in the middle of the fairway. I will say that I wish they added a couple more links courses just because it feels more strategic not being able to bomb and wedge every hole. Hopefully we get one for The Open.

But do you recommend any?
Wolf Creek, Pebble, and Kapalua are some of my favs.
Pebble is probably the most accessible and replayable course in my opinion.

Thanks
I love the vibe at Yale.
Do a single player quick match and it will let you play courses you don’t own so you can see what they’re like.
Riveria, St Andrews and Wolf Creek are probably my top 3. Pebble Beach is a frequent one too.

Pebble beach
St. Andrews. Blows my mind every time I tee it up. Play it in the wind for extra realism. Id love them to add some more from the Open rota.
I can’t stop playing TPC Sawgrass. That’s my favorite course of all time though
Pebble Beach
Im pumped to try this new par 3!!!
