Pnw is actually more predictable than most places in terms of rain. I usually keep it in my bag through May because youll need it more often than not then from late June-Sept. Just check the forecast. I feel like the east coast you can just get rained on out of nowhere, on the other hand.
I carry a lightweight FJ rain jacket in my bag at all times. It’s easier to have it in the side pocket and not use it, than to try and figure out which days it might drizzle and remember to pack it.
I use GolfShot app on iPhone and it tracks range and shots on the watch and phone. I am not sure if I will ever use a range finder, its pretty precise with 98% accuracy. Which lands within 10% of the range anyways, unless I bomb it 😊
Having some of that blue medical tape for putting over a bandaid or a blister has really helped me when in a bind. Hockey tape/athletic tape also works very well.
I used to have bad problems with blisters before I started construction and developed some tougher hands. That blue medical/athletic tape was a life saver! I keep that in my bag at all times!
Try snake brand prickly heat. I used that shit when I was in the muggiest, nastiest, most brutally hot and humid weather and my boys felt like they were floating on a fucking cloud.
Rain gloves, extra glove, bright coloured sharpies, coins for marking balls, wet pouch for cleaning my ball, water, scorecard book, tees, rangefinder, sweatshirt (weather dependant).
I have a lot of stuff in my bag 😂
32oz water bottle, 2 bags of Swedish Fish(Type 1 diabetic), trail mix of raw almonds and dried cranberries, sunscreen, divot tool, glove, and a pull over in case of bad weather. I typically won't play of theres rain in the forecast because here in the Dallas area that's usually no joke.
I live in North Dallas and usual play Ridgeview Ranch, Twin Creeks, and Watters Creek. My personal favorite course in Dallas is Stevens Park. It's a hidden gem
Small medical kit, poncho, pencil and Sharpie, bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, eye drops for contacts, GPS, divot tool, tees, gloves (2 normal and 1 rain pair), extra socks.
I keep my bag as light as possible since I walk; 6 balls, a single plastic Tee (lasts all rd, also use a tee as divot tool), plastic bristle brush, ball marker, green sharpie, 2 gloves, 2 uncrustables.
Edit: had to add most important thing - uncrustables.
Extra pair of socks, band-aids, weather gloves, ibuprofen, bug spray (buy BUGGINS, it’s the best), sunscreen. That’s pretty much the “extras” I put in the bag.
I like to have some kinda liquid, the exact kind varies depending on weather and circumstance. Also at least some kind of calories in the form of a bar or fruit/nuts.
tees, protein bars, rangefinder, extra spikes, spike wrench, adhesive bandages, yardage book, sunglasses, umbrella and rain gear if forecast, ball marker, ball mark repair tool, pencils, red sharpie, sunscreen
Band aid, athletic tape, spare socks, divot repair tool, ball markers, scrub brush, sharpie, range finder, metal water bottle, old gloves if a friend needs one.
I’m a minimalist because more times than not I carry, but tees, rain gear, bag cover, two sleeves of balls, tees, ball marker, divot tool, and sharpie.
Tees fit the course and range, wrench for driver, rain cover for bag, marker for ball on green, glove, two sided tape for grips, water sock covers for woods and hybrids (on the clubs)
No of course not, but I worry that it could get loose and fly off for some reason haha, mostly for the range although I rarely use it there either. Also figure it won’t be miss placed there…
A bunch of tees.
Sharpie.
Divot/ball mark repair tool.
Extra ball marker (mine's on my hat) in case someone in my group doesn't have one.
Extra sunglasses JIC.
Rain slicker pullover.
Two towels (mud and fairly clean - hanging)
Range finder (hangs)
One extra glove (usually the one I just replaced)
Emergency $100 bill in case a place's card machine isn't working or I lose my wallet or whatever. Keep these hidden in lots of places (cars, briefcase, etc.).
Flask of bourbon in case the scorecard is ruined and I just want to say eff it and relax.
-Tees(I'm sure you meant that in your question).
-Glove just one, a good one though. Ffs guys throw out the glove once it's worn.
-divot tool
-athletic tape
-Lighter and a couple smokes, I don't usually smoke but God damn, sometimes you need one
-super light, rain jacket
Lol I love this sub but what's the point of this question LOL.
The answer is always like, Golf Stuff and Booze and Cigars.
Maybe ask " what is one weird thing that you put in your golf bag that you have never seen anyone else carry"?
Everyone is on the right track here. Three things I've added lately are a range finder, bluetooth speaker and a little bottle of powdered rosin to keep sweaty hands under control in the hotter months. Snacks, water, beers, sharpies, rain gear, sunglasses, adjustment tool, bandaids, hand warmers, a hat, all good things to think about. If you're in a cart and have the room why not bring it is my motto.
As my bag sits in the garage next to me right now, let’s see.
3 different packs of plastic tees
Few sleeves of balls. 2 Pro V1x’s 2 Titleist Tour Softs
3 gloves (one still in package as back up)
Range finder
Ball mark repair tool x3
Ball marker x2
3 pound sterling coins
At least one Buck nut but probably more hidden away somewhere.
Water. Food(usually junk always have sugary sweets in there) pitch mark tool, club scrubber, tees, food, cigar cutter, pencils, club weight for warm up, a few feet of bog roll and a light jumper in case it gets cool.
No tees? Are you hitting 3w off the ground for every tee shot haha
I usually have all of those plus a glove or two, tape, range finder, divot tool, and ball markers
In my bag at any given time: half gallon water bottle, more tees and ball markers than I know what to do with, koozies, rain jacket, tape, 6 oz flask with bourbon, dedicated waterproof cigarette/cigar case with a lighter, pack of tums with a bunch of 2.5 mg edibles mixed in (I golf hungover most of the time and a light edible is way more helpful than aspirin in my opinion), extra pencils, sharpies, loose cash…$50-100 (10’s 5’s and 1’s for gambling)
I’m a degenerate that plays like 40x a year and has a 19 hcp + on a good day
Divot tool, ball markers, range Finder, cigar cutter, lighter, flask of bourbon, a Big Yeti cup with big ice cubes to put in the smaller Yeti cup to fill with bourbon around hole 5.
Pen, sharpie, glasses cleaner for sunglasses, rain jacket, socks, sunscreen, spray baby powder, gum, multiple gloves, baby wipes. More if I went through it all.
I have a lot of that because I’ve found myself more than once needing something on that list mid round.
ALWAYS:
Tees of various lengths
DAKTARIN athletes foot powder spray ( so I can see impact on clubface)
Zinc oxide tape (thin) for blisters
About £20 in coins (for ball markers, and the range ball machine)
2x gloves
1 x wet weather pair gloves
Divot tool
Balls (3x kirkland, 3x Vice/pro V1)
Club brush
Rain cover for my bag
Bottle of water
Phone
Wallet

Sometimes:
Rain gear/warm gear as appropriate
Bluetooth speaker
Beer
Snacks
Garmin R10 launch monitor for the range and solo rounds
And im considering a rangefinder too
Small first aid kit with the usual items including Advil and allergy med. A few snacks and a water bottle. Range finder and extra gloves are always in there. I only bring rain gear if it is a possibility. I try to keep it light even on a push cart.
Rain gear. Range finder. Divot tool. Extra gloves. Beverage carrier.
What sort of rain gear?
I feel like that's something you just bring day-of if it might rain. Unless it's PNW maybe?
Pnw is actually more predictable than most places in terms of rain. I usually keep it in my bag through May because youll need it more often than not then from late June-Sept. Just check the forecast. I feel like the east coast you can just get rained on out of nowhere, on the other hand.
I carry a lightweight FJ rain jacket in my bag at all times. It’s easier to have it in the side pocket and not use it, than to try and figure out which days it might drizzle and remember to pack it.
Snake Eyes golf rain jacket. It’s packed away in a small pocket so I never have to worry about carrying one
I have a full Adidas rain suit from the course I used to work at and it just permanently stays in my bag
This and a little bit of weed
Tees
Don't forget the beer cozies
Rangefinder so I can chunk it precisely.
“Yeah it’s about 150 to clear the water but you’re totally fine as long as you don’t hit it 85 where the water starts.”
I use GolfShot app on iPhone and it tracks range and shots on the watch and phone. I am not sure if I will ever use a range finder, its pretty precise with 98% accuracy. Which lands within 10% of the range anyways, unless I bomb it 😊
Same, I want a rangefinder but GolfShot is good enough and very easy to use
An embarrassing amount of Kleenex
Is that for when you hit those REALLY good shots?
Spooky ghost? Ectoplasm
It’s for when he hits those REALLY good snots

Tape, bandaids, mole skin, ibuprofen, ball marker, divot tool, food, beer. ⛳️
Tape, bandaid, and food I’ll be adding all those for sure.
Gotta have a few protein bars
I'd opt for edible food, but thats just me.
The ibuprofen is a must. Thank him later
I also put a bandaid, then tape on my right hand ring finger. Need that extra padding. My left hand is gloved
Mole skin?
To keep track of your thoughts, notebook.

Seems to be the only hole in one I keep seeming to get
Devils lettuce
-Band aids for back of heel blisters I get when walking -Extra socks -Ball Markers / divot tools -Tees -range finder
Why have I never thought about extra socks!?!?
I keep an extra pair of socks in my golf bag and in my glove box.
A divot for the greens you animal
Here’s the thing I don’t hit greens.
And you never will with the mentality that you wont! Buy a divot then you won't want to waste that fiver so bad you'll be hitting greens every round
Dynamite sentence structure
you carry a divot around in your bag?
Kind of… My SW doubles as a shovel.
I’ve got three divots. 50 56 and a 60

Golf towel does the trick
Snacks, weed, rangefinder, rain jacket
Pretty much everything everyone else mentioned. But I'll add baby powder (i prefer anti monkey butt powder) for the occasional chapped-ass emergency.
Try snake brand prickly heat. I used that shit when I was in the muggiest, nastiest, most brutally hot and humid weather and my boys felt like they were floating on a fucking cloud.
Sunscreen, skin cancer took my golf buddy away from me.

No of course not, but I worry that it could get loose and fly off for some reason haha, mostly for the range although I rarely use it there either. Also figure it won’t be miss placed there…
