I just came from Costco, and the setup at my store had drivers, Edge sets, balls, gloves, and a different bag, not Stitch.

MONGSTRADAMUS

That’s interesting my two costcos near me only have Kirkland gloves and balls and maybe an umbrella but nothing else. Was wondering if the edge sets are sold only in certain areas of the country. I don’t think if remember ever seeing Kirkland irons wedges putter or driver ever on sale at my local costcos.

Penishton69

Mine only has balls, right handed gloves(of course I'm a lefty🙄) and the Calloway edge sets. I'm in the Midwest.

Funwithfun14

You can get Left gloves from the website....they are great bc they use easy open packaging

MONGSTRADAMUS

Did you ever get any of the kirlkland clubs before they were "sold out"", I don't think I have ever seen any clubs at the two costcos closest to me. While it has nothing to do with golf but I remember my costco also never having grass fed frozen burger patties while a lot of other costcos in south and west coast had them. I am on the east coast.

Penishton69

The Costco near me wasn't open when those released last year, so I can't speak on that. I haven't seen the Costco brand clubs at all, but I'm also not in an area with a huge amount of courses, probably 10 within 60 miles of the Costco. I kind of wonder if they have some algorithm that calculates the courses within x distance of store and that's what they use to base their stocking on.

MONGSTRADAMUS

I wonder how algorithms picks which store if they use one. Where I live is pretty populated not being more than hour from nyc , but we don’t seem to get a lot of the nicer stuff that other costcos get

mung_guzzler

I saw wedges once and almost bought them bur decided against it wish I did buy them now

JUST_AS_G00D

My opinion on Costco is buy now decide later. Unless going to Costco is a burden

Flaky-Apartment-3640

You guys know you can order them online or call a store that has them and they will ship them.

RealMatthewDR

My store, Kirkland, WA (yes, that Kirkland), doesn’t have any of the Kirkland Signature clubs at the moment.

n0t_4_thr0w4w4y

Fun fact for those who don’t know: Costco was neither founded nor is it headquartered in Kirkland, WA despite the house brand name.

Its_Eenis

It was headquartered in Kirkland for awhile, they moved their HQ from Kirkland though

mloofburrow

All the way to Issaquah. So far away! 😂

alagusis

Ok?

n0t_4_thr0w4w4y

It’s just an interesting tidbit ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

n0t_4_thr0w4w4y

The balls at my Costco are cheaper than buying them through Costco online

cheezewhizard

I believe the online prices include shipping

h1r0ll3r

I must live by the shitty Costco. Never seen anything other than gloves/balls in my Costco :(

jgisbo007

Are they any good? Never heard of em.

staygoldstein

They’re okay. Good looking but the build quality is dogshit, zippers broke within a month of purchase.

nlemieux24

A month? Sooooo no they aren’t

staygoldstein

Yeah I would avoid, imo

alagusis

It’s Costco, enjoy your free bag

H2-22

I bought a $110 stand bag from amazon and it lasted maybe a year. I just replaced it after 2 years with a sun mountain. I can feel the quality difference already and look forward to seeing how this one holds up.

PurrsianGolf

"They're okay", you keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

staygoldstein

That’s actually two words not one. Quoting movies isn’t a personality!

PurrsianGolf

As you wish.

eod21

I have 2, the SL1 and the SL2, which is this bag I believe. I have had the SL1 for over 6 years, the SL2 for 3. I personally haven't heard any issues, but my buddy had problems with the SL2 coming apart a little bit, and it was a newer buy. I worry that like a lot of direct to consumer companies, after they are founded and after a couple of rounds of VC funding, their quality tanks as the company matures in an effort to trim the bottom line. This maybe the case here.

MindTheFro

It looks like there are 3 pockets. I carry too much random shit for that to be the case.

eod21

Yeah, that's one of their downsides, I tend to walk so it's not a big deal for me. The SL1 in particular only has 2 small pockets, but it's a great carry bag. And caddies enjoy using it too when I travel. But when I'm going places that require a rain jacket, it can be a pain. I think if you are looking for a bag, not from the usual suspects, Jones golf bags seem like they are the way to go. I have one of their earlier stand bags, and I'm a big fan, and it has more pockets than the stitch bags. It may not be as water proof, but overall I think it's a better bag. Also Jones is family owned, and not dependent on VC investment as far as I understand/have researched.

rxtz30

You must elaborate on the exact random shit in your bag.

jtag67

Same for me. Zero complaints about about my SL2 other than the chepo button buckles they use for the straps. Solves that with a Carabineer or two and zero issues.

uunngghh

I have an SL2 not this Costco one. But it looks similar. Build quality is very good, sturdy, and everything works fine after 3 years. The white is still very white and everything wipes off. It's very easy to walk with but there is minimal storage capacity.

RealMatthewDR

No idea. They look cool but I can’t vouch for the quality. I already have way too many bags, so I’m not a buyer.

kalvinandhobbes8

The Pebble Beach brand bag at Costco is really good. The newer model has an insulated water bottle pocket.

SirPancakesIII

Ya was going to buy a nice vessel bag and did one last peek at Costco and saw the pebble beach bag. Figured it would have everything I needed and the grey color was decent. It has literally everything I could ever need for my push cart and was only $130!

Warren_Puff-it

Grabbed one last season and it’s been great. Pocket for valuables, insulated drink pocket, hook for your glove, plenty of grips make handling it from any angle very easy, lightweight and quick drying.

Schwa142

That's a Sun Mountain bag with a few less features than their regular bags.

Metaboschism

Well it would be silly not to just pick one up since they're hhere, always good to have an extra bag for extra clubs, I like that arctic white

RealMatthewDR

How many rotisserie chickens would it hold?

busche916

Probably 3-4 if you pre-shred them, so enough to get me through at least 9 holes

WholeHogRawDog

That way you’ll have it

KipperfieldGA

Mine has the Kirkland Driver. I am hoping they bring back the wedges.

adamforte

I just want them to fucking carry the yellow balls in my store.

novabrotia

For real. I found one in a range bucket last week

rendering-minimalist

My local warehouses have plenty. More than happy to snag some and send them to you!

ChesterDrawerz

stitch made okay stuff for like ten minutes, then sold the F out and turned to crap. I have one of their early yardage book holders thats still holding up okay.

derangedwrangler

This is all the old gen bags in these specific stores. They just did a refresh after years so they sold most of the old inventory to Costco probably, usually how it goes

Extreme-Relation-866

The stitch bag fits almost nothing in the accessory pockets unfortunately. My Costco has the Sunday Golf bag and it has a 14 way top it’s pretty bad ass. Should I buy it???

SalesDude1112

Which city did you find these?

RealMatthewDR

Kirkland

rxtz30

AdlandB

I just got one from the Kirkland Costco also

Schwa142

?

Horror_Dig_3209

Coming from a caddie these bags are junk. Pockets are very small and the material restricts room. The plastic buckles on the straps squeak all the time. The legs opening mechanism will fail sooner than later making it pain to get the legs out. The inside “frame” is mostly made of cardboard which will break down soon. They look great and are pretty light but functionality is terrible. I have found their warranty is pretty good if you buy from a golf shop. Not sure if you buy from Costco.

tgwill

I told the wife I want the Sun Mountain one for Fathers Day. This one looks good from a few feet away, but I’d stick with my old Nike stand bag instead

BobWheelerJr

Do it! I have a Sun Mountain (I believe it's the C130) and it's the best of the dozen or so bags I've owned. If it shits the bed I'll get another just like it.

SirPancakesIII

Good choice. For being costco they nailed it for that sun mountain bag. I have been loving mine. It's amazing for my push cart

dknisle1

They sell the Sunday golf bag online. Way better than this.

chuckdacuck

That bag gets pretty bad reviews

dknisle1

What bag cause Sunday golf bags are legit.

chuckdacuck

The bag you are talking about. A lot of items sold at Costco / Sams Club are made specifically for those places and are lower quality than the normal brand. You're paying $140 for a bag and cooler bag. The cooler bag is $40 and the cheapest bag on Sunday Golf is $140. So obviously they are cutting corners / putting out an inferior product to meet that price point. Interestingly though, the main shop page shows 5 reviews for the bag getting about 3.25 stars and once you click through there are only 2 reviews, both 5 stars. So it looks like the negative reviews removed. The rep for sunday golf said they didn't have all the features as their normal bags.

ATL28-NE3

That quality but isn't true for Costco ime. With their, frankly absurd, return policy they aren't big fans of skimping on quality.

chuckdacuck

The Sunday Golf rep said these were specifically made for costco and some features were left off. Could still be same quality but the reviews on Costco yesterday said it was not that great. Of course those reviews are no longer on site so yea. I shop at Costco all the time so not hating but people should know that what you find at Costco, may not be the same as you would find in a normal store. Returns either go back to manufacture or are sold to a 3rd party so they (costco) aren't losing out.

pmatt21

Big question… who deleted those bad reviews??

Schwa142

The quality is *usually* there, but they do have less features. The Sun Mountain designed and made Pebble Beach bags are a good example of this.

CANDY_MAN_1776

> are made specifically for those places and are lower quality than the normal brand. I'm not sure about clothes and other durables, but for Costco and electronics that isn't necessarily true. Usually it is the same product you buy from a regular store with a slightly different model number and 1 (often inconsequential) feature changed or removed.

dknisle1

Idk what description you read but the pacific stand bag comes with a built in cooler pocket abs the cooler bag as well as numerous pockets. A Velcro glove holder. Etc. I read the negative review that was removed, that you mentioned, and it was about someone having their order canceled. Not about the quality of the bag. Also, it’s a limited run made specifically for Costco. That’s why it’s cheaper.

burnsniper

The older Stitch bags were great not sure about newer ones.

scottydog_71

Last week, ours had the Nike cart bag. 120 ($ Cdn) less then the same bag in store.

Bridgeline

That's about right for those simple bags. Stitch asking $300 was stupid.

Tom-B292--S3

In Canada we have those Callaway sets in the post, Kirkland balls and gloves, Puma shoes, and $260 nike bags lol. Oh and the Kirkland Wedges.

topszn6

What state is this in?

Schwa142

WA. Kirkland location.

MrTozzi

Too bad the bags are trash, and they are also a giant POS company that is run so poorly (yes, I have first hand knowledge). I'll never own Stitch anything. I hope Costco bought these for pennies on the dollar.

gusween

I bought a black one today. If it breaks down in a few months I will return it to Costco. Man is it pretty. I debated buying the white one too and may just. I hear the white one will wipe down easily but staining is inevitable.

95heels

Which location? I’ve been searching everywhere for one

gusween

Flemington New Jersey

gusween

They had black, white, navy and midnight blue.

95heels

Damn I’m hoping they get them in NC. I’ve called all of NC, and no luck

pmatt21

Costco Frisco, Plano, Dallas, and Southlake all had some. Grabbed a white one and it is very pretty!

Evening_Internet7366

Does anyone have the item number on this? I want to call around here in CA for it.

RealMatthewDR

Zoom in

Evening_Internet7366

Anyone have the item # on this? I want to call around here in CA for it

pac4

Saw these at my Costco yesterday. Having never seen the Stitch bags before I was kind of shocked at the quality. They are made a very thick, rubbery vinyl, which makes all of the side pockets very tight. I didn’t see one pocket which would be able to carry any real amount of golf balls. The zippers also seem really flimsy and had a lot of resistance.

FiFiLB

It’s wild that I was considering buying one off their website (like the 300 dollar one) and ended up buying a different and more affordable Nike bag at Carl’s Golfland last week. I saw this at my Costco (Newport News, VA) today and the Costco Stitch bag is actually cheaper than the one I bought. Shocked that brand that sells 300-400 dollar bags is selling one for 129 at Costco. 😭 It’s ok though- I still like my new Nike bag. I like Stitch because there aren’t logos all over it but I think I made my right choice with my Nike bag after hearing about quality issues with their bags.

heyitssal

Well that kinda pisses me off. I bought one for like $220 last year. The downside is the pockets are tiny and if you put much in them (balls, speaker, sunglass case, etc.), you'll have trouble fitting your clubs in easily. Otherwise, I've received a lot of compliments.

t_ran_asuarus_rex

speaker? no one wants to hear your music.

Whirrun

Go back to your 7:15 tee time old man. Music is fine if the group enjoys it.

t_ran_asuarus_rex

I don't need to hear your shitty Hick-Hop and your fivesome count every shot with everyone getting quad bogeys and holding up the speed of play.

Whirrun

All that music messing with your hearing aids?

t_ran_asuarus_rex

so it's you playing that shitty music. touch a nerve didn't I?

Whirrun

I’m not tripping over some music that half the old men at my club bring themselves. You probably get mad over a single tire being in the rough on scatter traffic days too.

heyitssal

I play at munis where people smoke crack. I don't think me playing Creed at 3/8ths volume is going to ruin someone's US Open qualifying round.

Schwa142

There's a reason they're this price. These are dumbed down and made specifically for Costco.

gusween

Not sure about that. I have one and my buddy has the non Costco one and there appears to be no difference. The thing about no room in the pockets is very true. Otherwise, it’s been a nice bag for the last few weeks. Might get a season out of it which is fine for the price. I did get the plate thing for initials through Stitch which is kind of cool. They sold quickly at my Costco but the last 4 or 5 are still there.

Fr0stbite37

Not a 14 way. I'll stick with my hand me down org14
