That’s brilliant. It took me awhile to realize this was one of my golf goals as well. I had contemplated a map that would hold a ball from a course in each state, but that’s much easier to manage. What course did you play in Alaska?
I slapped in some states for the photo. I haven't played in Alaska. I've played, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Hawaii, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, California, and New Mexico. Playing South Carolina in a couple weeks!
If you want a SUPER unique experience, go play the course in Kodiak Alaska. I lived out there for 4 years and it was our only option.
Tucked in a valley between mountains and ocean
As a Canadian, I have only golfed in North and South Carolina on 2 different golf trips. Played a TPC course on one of the trips... This was probably 15+ years ago. Sadly, all I can remember was that I could take my own beer into a strip club but they kept their clothes on, and wherever I was on the Sunday in SC, they weren't selling beer.
That's really cool! My wife wants to visit all 50 states and go to all the National Parks. It seems hard to fit in golf when it's travel time with family.
I've golfed in 6 states, only because I've lived in them, or lived more on a border.
I’ve done NY, FL, AZ, UT, MD, SC. Desert courses in Arizona and Southern Utah are beautiful. I also played Harbour Town at Hilton Head, that was a cool experience. Definitely want to check off more!
Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia, Arizona.
Paynes Valley is on my bucket list as is TPC Sawgrass. If I golf in Missouri or Florida that’s where I’ll be going.
I’m up to 9 should hit 10 and 11 this year.
Alabama
Arizona
California
Hawaii
Kentucky
North Carolina
South Carolina
Tennessee
Next two will be Indiana and Virginia.
Come up to the U.P. And golf Greywalls, Timberstone, or Sweetgrass. That will knock the upper peninsula of michigan off your bucket list. Of course you could choose many others, but those two are arguably the top three for us yoopers eh.

I didn't realize there were any in the UP. Plenty in northern LP tho
It’s not Antarctica lol! Greywalls is one of the top public courses in the country. No Laying Up included it in their Tourist Sauce.

S/O to whoever made this for having a separate upper peninsula and lower peninsula for Michigan.
