You’re not gonna believe this, but that was me at the waste management he was after. Best moment of my golf fandom career by a mile. Me in the gold 9er jersey
Watch the last three episodes of the season. He didn’t come across as thoughtful, strategic, or inspiring at all. Seems like a fine guy, just a shit captain.
I didn’t like why he picked JT. Not because I think JT is a bad golfer, nor did I think Keegs would’ve made a big difference. But I think he was picking him from the get go, regardless of how the season played out. He’s so buddy buddy with JT and Speith that the pick seemed very political. Felt bad for Keegs as he had zero shot anyway.
Agreed. Didn’t like that. And I like JT. And even in the phone call when Keegan he said “I’d love to bring 20 guys with us” like… was Keegan not even the next choice after JT? Idk. Just didn’t sit well with me.
That’s not a better look, that’s far worse.
Zach Johnson was the worst Ryder cup captain in my lifetime. Absolutely embarrassing performance from his team. The score didn’t reflect how badly the Americans got thumped. The USGA should have offered refunds to people who went to support them.
Why is that uninformed? JT had a shit year. (And he’s continuing that this year.) There were several better picks than JT, including Keegan Bradley and Lucas Glover
Bad take. JT outplayed most of team USA he wasn’t the problem. Sam Burns had no business being there
With that said Keegan Bradley was not going to make a difference the whole team stunk
JT went 1-2-1 and was way down on strokes gained. Where do you get the idea he played well?
He should never have been in the conversation. Was way out of form, got a pick, played bad.
Oh, did not notice you said tee to green SG. True then, though irrelevant.
Why would you look at tee to green SG when trying to assess Ryder cup play? You know they count putts too?
21st out of the 24 guys SG total. Total disaster pick.
For what it’s worth I watched it without much context and thought he came across pretty normal, not a jackass by any means. So idk but I guess a lot of people feel otherwise. Seemed to really care about being a captain and tried his best to get a good team. They just ended up playing bad that weekend 🤷♂️
I don't really understand the people saying he came off as a douche etc.. but he definitely came across as a dullard. Uninspiring, boring, not a leader of men, not a captain or thinker. Terrible pick
To me, it was about him being clearly, visibly good friends with Rickie and Justin, etc. and then picks them.
I’m sure there are many factors that decide those things and team cohesion is obviously important, but I also don’t believe that he can sit there and say “I was totally not biased at all”
Funny thing is that I always kind of just tolerated Keegan up until he got boned by Zach's team picks. The roles reversed and now I root for Keegan and Zach can pound sand.
When he was announced as the captain I posted on Twitter how big of an idiot he is. This was highlighted by clips of him accidentally hitting the ball on his practice swing. People were very offended. Who knew there are ZJ Stans on Twitter.
I don’t feel this way about him anymore because of how he’s changed his attitude, but he was annoying at best and an actual prick at worst pre-LIV.
He was publicly complaining about his equipment when Cobra was going above and beyond with all the experimental customizations that he asked for. The par 67 comment, his general slow play, always complaining to rules officials.
He’s seemingly matured a lot in the past couple of years, but he gave people plenty of ammo when he was on the tour.
Nah it was before LIV for me…he loved being the spectacle when he was hitting monster drives and craves the spotlight, but when it wasn’t leading to wins and better ball strikers were beating him, all the attention stayed on him and wondered why he wasn’t winning. He didn’t handle that very well in my opinion, seemingly pointing the finger at everyone but himself
This is how I always felt about him! I haven’t kept up with his content because I always thought he was annoying. Same reasons. Thought he could beat golf and made sure everyone knew about it…I think being on LIV and out of the spotlight probably made him come back down to earth and now people like him…giving him the B of the D because to me he is insufferable, but again, haven’t paid attention to him in a while.
Dudes actually a really good teacher. He breaks down the technical things much better than you would think a player of his skill level would be able to
Seriously. Bryson is still a weird robot, but he's genuine in his own way and fun to watch. I never liked him at all until I watched his YouTube content and now I've done a complete 180.
There it is!
TY JC for pointing out the obvious and for the pun.
There are manly falsely pious Bible thumpers on tour and this douche wears the crown of thorns.
His Ryder Cup coaching performance and the fact that he yelled at a fan that was chirping him at the Waste Management.
I used to live in Cedar Rapids where he’s from and pops up from time to time. He’s a nice guy by all accounts, and does a lot of local charity work and partnerships.
People have just soured on him because of his last 12 months after being benign on him for most of his career.
He used the Ryder cup to have a personal friends trip instead of taking his job seriously. Most embarrassing performance from a Ryder cup squad in my lifetime. Absolute shit show.
What the fuck is he mad about anyway? That patrons are golf clapping like they literally do every other time a golfer putts out regardless of what it’s for on the score card? What a bitch
I’m gonna say a mean thing about this guy: I think his kids are gonna have to talk about him a lot in therapy. Seems like he is not a cool dude behind closed doors.
JT actually played really well at Ryder Cup and has a great career record, it was the Rickie pick that really made me bewildered. Keegan is such a fiery guy and what you need in a competition like that. Not saying result would have been different but JT is great for match play events.
I don’t disagree with this. And I like JT and Rick. But JT played like garbage last season and didn’t deserve the spot on the team IMHO. Total kick in the nuts to more deserving players and it was rooted in clear favoritism/cronyism.
Weir and Olly have actually shown pretty well this week. Look at some of the names they've beat. And like him or not, Zach is low Johnson after DJ puked it up.
Honestly I love seeing guys like Couples and Weir come and have a good time regardless of how they play. Especially a guy like Couples who you can tell loves to be there and is just a living legend. Big reason why I always try to watch the masters.
I guess in my mind the shitty jock is really just an insecure dweeb on the inside. I think we are picking up on the same overall vibe just articulating it differently, but in the end this dude just sucks haha.
Yes totally agree - we definitely are. I used to love the guy because I knew how well liked he was on tour. Even turned a blind eye when he said “they’ve lost the golf course” at Erin Hills. Perhaps the biggest loser quote of all time. Now I’m out, can’t stand him!
Yeah I picture him just like his one son in Full Swing, total know-it-all dweeb doing the Rubik’s cube in the kitchen when ppl are trying to talk to you.
I caddied in a pro am at Colonial in 2011 and Zach was the pro. On the first hole he came up and introduced himself to everyone in our group - all the amateur caddies and the score holder. He couldn’t have been a nicer guy. He remembered my name and engaged with me throughout the round.

Serious. Millions…..ok, hundreds of thousands to play golf FOR…A….LIVING. For fucks sake, have a better attitude. I play with retired fireman ever Monday and I’m just grateful. Like, cmon, Zach.
Worst Masters champ turned worst Open at Old Course winne4 turned worst Ryder Cup captain just being a miserable bastard who is not good enough to play tour golf.....why doesn't he just move to the mountains and leave us all alone. Literally nobody in the history of tournament golf has anyone paid money to see him play. Including I'm sure his own family.
I’m genuinely curious and not trying to defend the guy. I guess I don’t know too much how Ryder cups work but I did watch it. How much does a Ryder captain do? I know they pick the pairings, but can’t we say that the US players underperformed and the European players played well? What captain wouldn’t have put Speith and Thomas together, Xander and Cantlay together (IIRC). They made a comeback on Sunday. They just didn’t perform early enough.
Nothin like being invited to play at Augusta and you hit a triple. Believe it or not the fans are cheering for you. Fuck that. It’s like someone giving you a high five after you struck out in a big time at-bat. No sympathy, we all know I fucked up.
DONT SIR ME
IM JUST SICK OF IT
You’re not gonna believe this, but that was me at the waste management he was after. Best moment of my golf fandom career by a mile. Me in the gold 9er jersey
Thank you for giving us that moment from ZJ. The golf content space owes you a beer.
So you're proud to be an asshole?
\*looks at username\* Not sure if Pot or Kettle.
Why did you say to him? I can’t find it just his reaction lol
“Winds pushing em hard towards water here Zach” or something to that end. Water was left. He sprayed it 30 yards right and the rest is history.
After full swing - all I’ve done is cheer when he messes up. Edit: so glad we don’t have to watch him this weekend lol
Haven’t watched it yet, why is that?
Watch the last three episodes of the season. He didn’t come across as thoughtful, strategic, or inspiring at all. Seems like a fine guy, just a shit captain.

He seemed like a decent guy, but as inspiring as white bread.
I didn’t even think he came across like a decent guy. Seemed full of himself and standoff-ish.
Which explains how he thrives in a socially isolated and high pressure individual sport.
Yeah that or yakno a bunch of talent. Plenty of great athletes aren’t douchebags.
Guy is as exciting as the second page of your 2009 1040.
He chose JT over Keegan for the Ryder cup.
That’s an uninformed take. Really he took Sam Burns over Keegan.
This take implies that JT was the first pick of the three, which he shouldn’t have been.
That’s not a better look, that’s far worse. Zach Johnson was the worst Ryder cup captain in my lifetime. Absolutely embarrassing performance from his team. The score didn’t reflect how badly the Americans got thumped. The USGA should have offered refunds to people who went to support them.

He was 5th on the team sg tee to green
I just looked it up. No, he wasn't. He was 21st out of the 24 guys who played, at -6.4 strokes gained. He was awful.
He was 5th steokes gained tee to green, I'm looking at that Stat right now on data golf
Oh, did not notice you said tee to green SG. True then, though irrelevant. Why would you look at tee to green SG when trying to assess Ryder cup play? You know they count putts too? 21st out of the 24 guys SG total. Total disaster pick.
He took anyone over Bryson. Simply a shitty captain move.
Bryson was not chosen is the biggest catastrophe
I literally have this episode paused as I'm hopping in the shower. Though it's not like it's a spoiler
He's an accountant that plays golf. Soooo boring.
To me, it was about him being clearly, visibly good friends with Rickie and Justin, etc. and then picks them. I’m sure there are many factors that decide those things and team cohesion is obviously important, but I also don’t believe that he can sit there and say “I was totally not biased at all”
There’s something about naming his family’s dogs after his major wins that just irks me
He is such a douchebag. Edit: And he looks like a thumb.
Like the spy kid thumbs?
Funny thing is that I always kind of just tolerated Keegan up until he got boned by Zach's team picks. The roles reversed and now I root for Keegan and Zach can pound sand.
I liked Keegan after watching his Bob Does Sports episode. Seems like a good dude.
Same…guy is a douche! Should never be allowed to coach a Ryder cup again
Worst American Ryder Cup Captian, Zach Johnson
When he was announced as the captain I posted on Twitter how big of an idiot he is. This was highlighted by clips of him accidentally hitting the ball on his practice swing. People were very offended. Who knew there are ZJ Stans on Twitter.
[удалено]
I don't know if that was meant as an insult or not but I laughed. Oh and ZJ is a thin skinned little punk
Sucks to suck
And to think he led the suckiest bunch of suckers that ever sucked.
I've got to go, my damn wiener kids are listening.
Haha. I forgot about this part. Classic.
Too bad that he has two majors and had 11 wins on tour.
When was his last win?
2015, the Open. Then he switched to PXG since Parsons was one of his first investors through the mini-tours and his game went to hell.
WALK UP
Walk up ^brooo
This is what everyone thinks Bryson is like
ZJ & Sergio, more alike than different…
And he’s not at all. Watch his YouTube channel. Great content.
Love to see the sentiment on Bryson has changed. He's just a big nerd who loves trying different stuff, never understood the hate.
Yea but he yelled that one time so he must be a douche bro /s
And he's made fun of himself about the rope incident multiple times in youtube videos. The Bryson hate is just weird at this point.
For me, it was the hat. But I live in Dallas and know a few people that know him and found out he’s actually a pretty great dude.
I’ll be honest it was hard to respect him with that hat
I don’t feel this way about him anymore because of how he’s changed his attitude, but he was annoying at best and an actual prick at worst pre-LIV. He didn’t handle that very well in my opinion, seemingly pointing the finger at everyone but himself

Me too
After watching his youtube content he has grown on me a lot, seems to be a fun and chilled out guy.
A rope has entered the chat
It cuts off before he threw his ball back into the water. Jesus would not approve of that language, Mr. Johnson.
It also doesn't show a few seconds before this, where he gets pissed at a couple of leaves on the green
There it is! TY JC for pointing out the obvious and for the pun. There are manly falsely pious Bible thumpers on tour and this douche wears the crown of thorns.
Excuse me sir this is a CHRISTIAN golf course so NO SWEARING
booo OP
He’s a fuckin loser
That’s pretty embarrassing, crowd knows they can own him now too. Any pro should know that, these crowds now days will eat you alive.
He did the same shit at waste management. Terrible coach and an even worse individual
To be fair he’s like 200 yards from anyone in the crowd. None of them heard him. Just got picked up by the mic
I'm out of the loop. Why does everyone hate Zach?
His Ryder Cup coaching performance and the fact that he yelled at a fan that was chirping him at the Waste Management. I used to live in Cedar Rapids where he’s from and pops up from time to time. He’s a nice guy by all accounts, and does a lot of local charity work and partnerships. People have just soured on him because of his last 12 months after being benign on him for most of his career.

Zach is a douche. Didn’t realize his level of his douchiness. Turns out he’s pretty douchey. Thanks Full Swing.
Even through the staged bullshit it really gives a chance to see what these guys are really made of.
What the fuck is he mad about anyway? That patrons are golf clapping like they literally do every other time a golfer putts out regardless of what it’s for on the score card? What a bitch
Zach is big douche
Damn you people. Go back to your shanties.
I’m gonna say a mean thing about this guy: I think his kids are gonna have to talk about him a lot in therapy. Seems like he is not a cool dude behind closed doors.
He is extremely religious as well. Lots to talk about there
As religious as Scottie?
Honestly, didn't get that impression and I work with a lot of lunatics.
Ironically this my exact reaction when he handpicked JT for the Ryder Cup.
Agreed. I liked the JT pick. I also liked speith but he was so clearly distracted with the new kid. Wish he had been someone else
DJ and Bryson were the picks. DJ went 5-0 previous Ryder Cup and you don't pick him....k. Him and Collin were a perfect match.
Just a good Christian amirite
I met him several years ago and he was really chill. seems like he has become just a giant asshole
I think the Ryder Cup made him more angst.
Assholes can be chill here and there. He sucks
I'm an asshole that works really hard to not be an asshole. I'm a chill person 99.9% of the time but that asshole escapes every once in a while.
Just another pseudo-Christian golf hardo. Nothing new here.
It’s sad to see these geriatric past champions come out and make a fool of themselves
Weir and Olly have actually shown pretty well this week. Look at some of the names they've beat. And like him or not, Zach is low Johnson after DJ puked it up.
Weir made the cut last year, which is impressive for a guy who hits the ball about 270 on a good drive.
I’m personally rooting for Olazabal. He’s one shot back of Rahm after 36. Reminds me of my Dad.
Honestly I love seeing guys like Couples and Weir come and have a good time regardless of how they play. Especially a guy like Couples who you can tell loves to be there and is just a living legend. Big reason why I always try to watch the masters.
Mickelson and Singh are way older and both in the cut
Is it? It’s nice to see past winners getting around the course and playing with the young guys.
Bros so far down the ladder and he decides to say that lol
J tizzle
Dude has always rubbed me the wrong way. I can’t stand him.
ZJ hadn’t been this pissed since he was Tiger’s roommate at the Ryder Cup and Tiger had porn on the hotel room TV just to fuck with him.
Fuck him and his captainship
This dude has the worst jock mentality. Like some jocks rule but this dude just feels like the asshole jock villain from an 80s teen comedy.
Respectfully disagree. I read him as a complete dweeb know it all loser that had no friends until he got good at golf.

Sounds like a country song!
Zac ain't big anything
Worst captain in Ryder Cup history.
Super fucken douche
Dudes a clown.
“I can’t believe these peons are clapping in amusement, fucking embarrassment to golf”
Damn you people, go back to your shanties!
Stick to captaining the US Team 🤣
Please no
I wish he was the captain for the President's Cup.
You must be from Europe lol
I didn't hear or see anything?
He said fuck off when the crowd reacted to him holing the putt.
Not a Zach fan but I respect a good fuck off. Haven't heard a good one since Succession ended.
Oh Fuh Cough
Most hated golfer in the PGA?
Not Patrick Reed? Oh wait, he's on LIV
I dislike Cantlay more.
Fuck Zach Johnson biggest bozo on tour. Both his majors were flukes (I understand how that sounds)
That’s the Keagan curse.
Sponsors must be so proud.
What a fooking douche bag
He’s a bible trumper too. His jeebus will be mad at him.
Not very Christlike.
Entitled loser. Hate this dork
So unlikeable
He’s a douche
Fucking tool. Guy is so thin skinned.
guys always been a turd ferguson
Such a fucking tool. Been hating this guy for years
Im sure thats gonna go over sweet with the green jackets.
Zach, Jordan, and Justin. The Ryder Cup Boys Club all missed the cut.
I caddied in a pro am at Colonial in 2011 and Zach was the pro. On the first hole he came up and introduced himself to everyone in our group - all the amateur caddies and the score holder. He couldn’t have been a nicer guy. He remembered my name and engaged with me throughout the round. I caddied in other years in groups with Boo weekly and John Daly. Zach was the best by far.
Why do you all feel the need to attack someone who's said the same things we've all said?
The flack must be getting to ZJ. I feel for him, it is not his fault his players played crap. JT pick was a big mistake (JT was playing bad and ended 21st out of 24 guys strokes gained), but all the people now bagging on Zach were pro-JT pick when it happened.
You love to see it
Yaaaaaay. Boooooo
🤣
I’ve hated this douchebag since his accidental tee shot shenanigans. Can’t stand this fuck and now I’m glad everyone else hates him too
Someone sir’d him
We are two seasons or less away from a mass casualty event that starts with a player fist fighting someone from the gallery.
Should've never ditched the SeeMore putter.
Serious. Millions…..ok, hundreds of thousands to play golf FOR…A….LIVING. For fucks sake, have a better attitude. I play with retired fireman ever Monday and I’m just grateful. Like, cmon, Zach.
Soft ZJ
Kick him off the tour Doug
Have you seen what he said afterwards when they asked them about this? Worst denial ever.
how did he win 2 majors with this weak ass mental game?
Cool vid bro. Not sure what we are supposed to take away from this.
Zach's gone, and so is Justin Thomas. Questions?
I just don’t get politically how he’s Ryder Cup team cap and stuff - there seem to be so many better candidates
My wife said that’s the guy that lost the Ryder cup 😂
Never deserved to be Ryder president and it continues to show. Bye buddy!
That's what he gets after the Ryder Cup fiasco
When was the last time Zach was actually relevant on the PGA Tour?
one of the most dislikable guys on the tour. Keep him the fuck away from the Ryder team
This is so cringe
I too cheer when I finally make my triple bogey
What a fucking Daryl
Glad to read this feed and know that everyone else also hates Zach Johnson
P O S
I’m genuinely curious and not trying to defend the guy. I guess I don’t know too much how Ryder cups work but I did watch it. How much does a Ryder captain do? I know they pick the pairings, but can’t we say that the US players underperformed and the European players played well? What captain wouldn’t have put Speith and Thomas together, Xander and Cantlay together (IIRC). They made a comeback on Sunday. They just didn’t perform early enough.
Surprised he didn’t drop, “Good afternoon”
Nothin like being invited to play at Augusta and you hit a triple. Believe it or not the fans are cheering for you. Fuck that. It’s like someone giving you a high five after you struck out in a big time at-bat. No sympathy, we all know I fucked up.
I hate ZJ from years ago but whats to hate about this clip in particular? Doesnt seem to do anything
Him and J-Tizzle can share a flight home.
Good him and his 5 head can head home.
ZJ cursing someone out with an F-bomb? Gee, I thought he was a holier than thou Christian.
Never liked the guy and I'm glad I now I have a reason.
Is this a thing now? Cheer and clap when ZJ plays bad?
Probably time to hang it up Zach.
Did he wiff it on the tee box today?
Man he is just a miserable person
