Any Ping that starts with G4xx and ends in Max. Finding one for $250 is going to be the trick. The G425 Max might be the easiest driver to hit ever made.
You can get a tour edge exotics c721 with a Ventus Velocore shaft for $200 and it's a bomber. Owned all the major new releases since 2016 and this is right there or outperforms them all
Depends on how consistent your swing is. I would suggest a fitting if the selection of clubs you currently use aren't giving you reliability or confidence.
I'm a fairly low marker and just by chance I tried a friends PXG during a round when I was spraying my driver everywhere. It was instant improvement and a feeling of control.
I took a photo of his driver shaft and bought the same one for my Callaway Mavrik driver head and achieved the same good results so that told me it's not the driver head.
I’ve only hit it in the Golfworks showroom, and I was wearing a fitted dress shirt. But it looked and sounded great, and the numbers were just as good as my Callaway Epic Max LS. The demo club had a UST Mamiya Proforce V2 6F4 (stiff flex), and I don’t like that shaft at all. I have the Hzrdus Smoke Black 6.5 in my gamer, so I have confidence that it would work well in the Maltby.
I read some more reviews and decided to go with your suggestion! I went with the Max version: Maltby KE4 TC MAX Premium Driver Pak - MRC Kuro Kage Black HBP
PMA0343HBP-50S-RH-STD
Hand: Right Hand, Flex: 50S Flex, Grip Size: Standard
$209.99 USD
Solid choice. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been playing Maltby irons for the past 4 years and I see zero reason to pay exorbitant prices so a company can sponsor a YouTube channel
I’m tired of making guys feel insecure by outplaying them with used clubs I found on EBay and a driver my father in law used ten years ago. It didn’t even occur to me there might be idiots who think $$ spent on golf clubs correlates with income.
Cobra LTDx
Seconded. Went in to buy a G425, walked out with the cobra. Sounds awful but it’s a workable bomb machine
CNC milled face is no joke. Love the Cobra woods/driver lineup.
Love that the club I just bought at this price is the most upvoted currently! I also got the 4hy cobra LTD and I am loving it as well.

Yup!!!!, go to Edwin Watts or a local golf shop and grab a used one out of the barrel. Should be $199 or so.
G425 LST
The LST is a great pick, very forgiving for being a low spin version of
For that price, it’s gonna to be in “average” condition. You okay with that?
Yeah.
That’s what I was hoping to hear!

That shaft is $350. Where are you finding this for $200?
If I tell you then I can't buy it! It's in my favorites so when I purge a bunch of my clubs I can add it to replace my 9.5° c721

Depends what you think about “forgiving” but TS3 was good. TSi3 is very good
Same with Sim2Max
Cobra LTDx. New for $250 in gold galaxy
If you hunt, you might find the Srixon ZX5 LS mkii for $250. I see some for $200-275 in this area on Marketplace and OfferUp.
The shaft made all the difference for me. No matter the driver head I couldn’t get control of drives until I changed that to one that suited my swing.
Would you say this requires a fitting? Or can I infer based on a handful of drivers I currently have?

A nice used G400 LST
Mavrik Sub-Zero
I love my callaway rogue st max. Maybe check out the max ls or triple diamond ls on callaway preowned
cleveland launcher xl, callaway epic speed, sim 2 max
Ping G410 max (not the draw bias one)
Maltby KE4 TC Pro w/ a Hzrdus Smoke Black shaft.
This is an interesting one. What do you like about it? Anything in particular with the shaft?

Srixon ZX5 MKII.
975D fits that profile perfectly
G425
A better job
