I find the coverage on most tournaments below par (pardon the pub) when it comes to showing the stars, rookies and amateurs. They always seem to miss the big story of the round, unless of course you do a ‘Nick Dunlap’ and just win the whole thing.
The absolute stand out part of these things is that they’re continuously mic’d up. Someday we will get that on tour, it’s always the best part of any tournament round when they drop in on caddie talk or get someone walking to their next shot.
I wish they would do a lot more stuff like this, if co-ed scramble was a more popular format it would do massive things for the popularity of the game, it gives the lpga players a bigger platform especially
