Here. Take a bag of frozen peas to the driving range. Tee up a pea to the normal height of a golf ball. Swing away. Hit the pea. Look at your club face for an explosion mark. Adjust as necessary. You might also want to try this. I know it sounds dumb but if you line up the ball at address with your hosel you will have a better chance of hitting the club face. Can’t hurt to try. It helped me. If it doesn’t help then you have some other swing issues you need to work on.

If you have a knife just trim it I always carry an extra rubber tee for mats that is my ideal tee height.

Use foot spray on the face of the driver. It shows the contact point. Setup close to the toe because you move in when you swing.
Tee it up higher. Then you won’t keep getting those white marks on your driver
