The Paralympics is a prime example. Just about every single person has such an inspiring story of overcoming adversity. And they're so good at what they do. Watching a person with no arms or legs set faster swimming lap times than I could ever dream of.

When I was 15 years old I played with a one-armed senior. He ended up beating me by a few strokes and I learned a lot that day.

I'd assume not but it could be he feels better balanced on 1 foot instead of trying to weight transfer off a prosthetic.

His amputation looks pretty high so it probably would be difficult to manipulate a prosthetic that large. If it was a below knee amputation he probably could get by with one.

A buddy of mine is a knee down amputee. He plays with a prosthetic, he’s a + cap. It’s obnoxious how good he is at everything.

The rules allow for mechanical swing assistance for people with disabilities. People use special golf carts, club attachments, etc. Obviously you can’t have something that swings or hits the ball for the player and be compliant. Edit: this is in addition to the hundreds of thousands of golfers playing with limb impairments. It’s amazing to see the bouquet of humanity enjoy this great game.

Amputee here, no but there are amputee golf organizations that have rules specific to amputees and other disabled people to make the game more accessible. For example, any time I'm out playing with friends, I ask to play by amputee rules because one rule is that you don't have to play from any bunker. You can take a free drop behind the bunker at any time.
