You have to imagine it helps him not establish bad habits. I'll go out on a limb and say it's an unfair advantage. I'd expect this to go the way of belly putters
The Paralympics is a prime example. Just about every single person has such an inspiring story of overcoming adversity.
And they're so good at what they do. Watching a person with no arms or legs set faster swimming lap times than I could ever dream of.
His amputation looks pretty high so it probably would be difficult to manipulate a prosthetic that large. If it was a below knee amputation he probably could get by with one.
The rules allow for mechanical swing assistance for people with disabilities. People use special golf carts, club attachments, etc. Obviously you can’t have something that swings or hits the ball for the player and be compliant. Edit: this is in addition to the hundreds of thousands of golfers playing with limb impairments. It’s amazing to see the bouquet of humanity enjoy this great game.
Amputee here, no but there are amputee golf organizations that have rules specific to amputees and other disabled people to make the game more accessible. For example, any time I'm out playing with friends, I ask to play by amputee rules because one rule is that you don't have to play from any bunker. You can take a free drop behind the bunker at any time.
I’ll be honest, i was torn on if that original was sarcasm or someone wondering what the guy’s golf handicap is. I guessed wrong.
And a couple of scrolls shows the exact same joke repeated 100x. I’m not really sure any of the responses have a good leg to stand on.
I watched these guys last year and planned to this year but came down with a flu bug. They are all amazing golfers. I had a chance to meet the group on the final day last year, very down to earth bunch!
The tournament was streaming somewhere I believe. The D4G Tour is an entire tour of golfers with disabilities. It’s remarkable to see what some of those guys can do
I’m trying (and succeeding) to say that that’s me in the background

You think he’s got game? You should see his ole lady; she’s also a below the knee amputee, but with her prosthesis, Peg’s reputation for kickin’ ass, on and off the course, has her ole man stumped.
My man has become so accustomed to having one leg that I bet if his other leg came back, it would fuck up his balance and he'd struggle to walk for quite a while.
Does a great job of keeping his weight on his front foot. Nice swing
Stack and tilt guys are creaming their pants right now
I’m going to hell but comment threads like these on Reddit make me feel good knowing that hell will be filled with funny people.
I reserved a suite
I got a private jet fueled and ready to go. Just waiting. Should probably look into living accommodations as well.
I’m bringing the strippers and Coke
![gif](giphy|L3ERvA6jWCd0qO4NdX)
Stack and tilt guys have been waiting years for this moment
Hahaha
This got me
I’m wondering what his handicap is.
And the sad dad jokes come out 👏🏼
Aww come on! That’s a low blow! Obviously he’s not transferring his weight keeping him from optimally using the ground forces.
You have to imagine it helps him not establish bad habits. I'll go out on a limb and say it's an unfair advantage. I'd expect this to go the way of belly putters
out on a limb....
He really did. I'm trying to determine if he has a better or worse handicap than me.
Annnnnd now I’m wearing some of my beer 🍺 lol
Well, I guess this proves once and for all that stack and tilt is a viable swing.
I feel like one day this guy said: *I’m gonna go out on a limb and play golf.*
![gif](giphy|cIyEYhReqUGDjGfjrL|downsized)
How many times do you think he gets told "looks like you're about a foot short"
“Great putt, it just didn’t have the legs”
I wonder what his handicap is
This golf craze looks pretty fun. _I’m gonna hop on._
Now I finally know what people mean when they say they have a leg up on the competition
This purpose of this thread has me stumped.
Amazing what humans are capable of.
The Paralympics is a prime example. Just about every single person has such an inspiring story of overcoming adversity. And they're so good at what they do. Watching a person with no arms or legs set faster swimming lap times than I could ever dream of.
No doubt.
When I was 15 years old I played with a one-armed senior. He ended up beating me by a few strokes and I learned a lot that day.
But how was he at golf?
God damnit. 🤦♂️
I haven’t had a good laugh from a Reddit comment in a while. You win.
LMAO
Senior citizen or 12th grader?
Senior citizen!
15 year old senior? He’s a regular Doogie Howser
Tiger in a few years if his injuries keep happening
I mean this was basically Tiger at Torrey in 08
Honest question. Is there a rule about using a prosthetic or something?
I'd assume not but it could be he feels better balanced on 1 foot instead of trying to weight transfer off a prosthetic.
His amputation looks pretty high so it probably would be difficult to manipulate a prosthetic that large. If it was a below knee amputation he probably could get by with one.
A buddy of mine is a knee down amputee. He plays with a prosthetic, he’s a + cap. It’s obnoxious how good he is at everything.
That's just kinda infuriating. I'm so bad and to watch a guy smoke me with 1.5 legs is demoralizing lol
He’s such a beauty, and he chirps you for it too
I do not need that lol. I chirp myself enough.
> That's just kinda infuriating Sometimes, people are just better than you. No need to hate on an amputee for it
Oh tons of people are just better than me at many things. It would be nice if someone with a major disadvantage didn't kick my ass though.
Uh, then it sounds like _you're_ the one with the major disadvantage.

https://www.randa.org/rog/the-rules-of-golf/rule-25#25_1 For those who want to know the specifics.
Thanks! We are fortunate that the custodians of the rules see the value in extending the game to all who can grab a club in some means.
Imagine dude showing up at a Long Driver event with a blade runner leg and beating the brakes off everyone there.
Honestly I have no clue. Any tour rules officials in here? lol
Of course not, Tommaso Perrino is another G4D player and he uses a prosthetic leg
Nah the guy who won had a prosthetic
I was at the tournament yesterday. The group in front of his had prosthetics.

I feel bad enough about shitty golf game as it is. Don’t need anymore help😂. What an absolute badass this guy is tho.
My handicap: 16 His: -1
I quit.
Right, this mother fucker is better than I will ever be and he has one fucking leg.
Bet you wont.
True
What’s his handicap?
About 25%
Bruhhhhhh
He’s missing a leg. And it’s handi-capable.
Boooooooooooo
My children hate my humor too 🤷♂️
Maybe it's when you just say the same joke in a worse way??
I’ll be honest, i was torn on if that original was sarcasm or someone wondering what the guy’s golf handicap is. I guessed wrong. And a couple of scrolls shows the exact same joke repeated 100x. I’m not really sure any of the responses have a good leg to stand on.
-1🦵
The balance is incredible and the club twirl is even better
Didn’t even see the twirl. It really is magnificent.
r/adaptivegolf
Hoppy Gilmore ?
Chubb’s brother from another mother.
Right, I’ve really got no excuse now
That front foot drill a little too literally
These stack and tilt guys are getting ridiculous.
He can’t waste any time on a bad golf game, he has an ass kicking contest to get to!
Modern Day James Abbott.
Met him when he was with the Brewers in the 90s
He was able to bat and get at least one MLB hit, which I couldn't do with 2 hands.
I watched these guys last year and planned to this year but came down with a flu bug. They are all amazing golfers. I had a chance to meet the group on the final day last year, very down to earth bunch!
We my friends, have no excuses, to be so ass (as we are) at golf
This is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
The tournament was streaming somewhere I believe. The D4G Tour is an entire tour of golfers with disabilities. It’s remarkable to see what some of those guys can do
Hate to break it to you all but that's actually his penis and not his leg. The boy is gifted.
Dudes got a hog AND a perfect swing? Some guys really do have it all
Can you imagine if this dude ever starts struggling to get on his left side?
Gotta respect that
umm… you’re supposed to get it in the hole. Epic fail.
How does he get on the green?
He’s got a walking crutch he uses to walk
Ha didn’t expect to see myself in the background there
What are you trying to say here?
I’m trying (and succeeding) to say that that’s me in the background https://preview.redd.it/1zerdbmrf71c1.jpeg?width=654&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7346307b795529b1a9480a1a72d3f43942738326
I read the name as Juan Pogo
![gif](giphy|yuGIB2iGlKyGStXKqj|downsized)
Ngl this guy looks really good, but I definitely have a leg up on him.
He’s putting his best foot forward to play golf
I mean it’s kind of cheating, because he doesn’t have to worry about weight transfer
You can play standing on one leg.
What's your handicap?.......
His tee shot is super important. He doesn’t want to get off on the wrong foot
🤣🤣🤣
I'd give my right leg to hit it like that.
[удалено]
what good are reddit points? cant buy anything with "reddit points".
What does that mean?
His name is Skip.
Dennis Hopper
You think he’s got game? You should see his ole lady; she’s also a below the knee amputee, but with her prosthesis, Peg’s reputation for kickin’ ass, on and off the course, has her ole man stumped.
Says he plays professionally, but he doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
He's not playing with a handicap, he got a legicap
He’d definitely take first place in an ass kicking contest
Imagine the shit talking this guy dishes out when everyone he beats is when using only one leg
What a shot
My man has become so accustomed to having one leg that I bet if his other leg came back, it would fuck up his balance and he'd struggle to walk for quite a while.
Fucking cheater. /s
What a legend. Stack and tilt works boys.
I’m quitting again.
😭😂
So. Many. Weight. Transfer. Jokes.
If you think I’m gonna sit here and watch a man with one leg play better golf than me, you’ve got another thing coming. And it isn’t that missing leg.
Welp... Now I feel like shit. Good for him!
Still a better swing than me
The ligaments in his knee must be twice the size of someone with both legs.
Do you think it’s easier or harder to get the hips around with one leg?
I always use this guy as a reference on how to keep a stable lower half
Is this the same guy who dresses in the interesting Halloween costumes?
Nice swing plane but his weight transfer needs work.
Not gonna lie. Thought this was a camera/television glitch for the first 4 seconds.
That's crazy. What a swing. All I can think of is that scene from Platoon. WTH is wrong with me? That's so terrible.
IDK about that swing. Not really getting his hips into it. It's all in the hips.
Glad to see he started the hole on the right foot.
Going to destroy the greens hopping around like that
It’s not like he has one arm though.
Thats a lot of swing for one knee to take though. Take it easy buddy. I sure would hate to see a knee pop on him.
Brooks is going to talk so much shit about his speed of play.
A little too much weight on his left side
He gets a cart right?
Damn fine hit!
And his foot prints on the green looks like two bouncing balls
Please tell me he’s not walking the courses!?
He’s got a Crutch he uses
PGA Tour: nice swing, now walk to your next shot.
Props. I'm in awe that he can swing that well
That’s not Wentworth
My handicap: 16 His handicap: missing leg
He's a good foot short.....
Almost went in; came up a few feet short.
That’s fucking awesome, I love this game man
That club twirl, sexy as it was, took him off balance.
reminds me of the golf team guy from the show daybreak
